I was brought up in India and educated at a Liberal Arts University before being accepted to Monash for a Journalism Masters. I’ve had a roommate for 3 years before this. I’m a very considerate person, I’ve travelled a lot and I’m open minded. I am a smoker and I have a lot of clothes but I keep spaces as tidy as possible. I’d like to get a cat once I move to Melbourne (though not as important as finding a place to stay). I’m somewhere in between an introvert and extrovert, I’m great at banter but also good at reading situations and respecting people’s privacy. I like reading, painting, crafts, drinking, hiking, going to the beach, galleries, museums, films, plays, meeting new people and exploring spaces.
Hello! I am moving to Australia in June and I will be needing a place to live for at least 6 months. I prefer to share an apartment with other girls. I am very organised and tidy, and an easy-going person.
Hello, I’m Kayo, from Japan. I’m currently studying English at a language school and working as a barista during weekends. I’ve been living here for 2 years. I’m really tidy and reliable person. I’m not kind of party people, but I was a dance teacher in Japan, so I like dancing and music:) I’ve been to more than 20 countries, and really keen on talking with people who are foreigners to expand my horizons. I put my preferred stay length is 3 months because my current visa will have been expired on September but I’m thinking whether extending my visa or not. I’m looking forward to seeing your reply, thank you!
I’m easygoing, love to laugh and meet new people, yet very organised and clean. I love to socialise but I also enjoy time spent at home relaxing. My passions include dancing, food and wine. In fact, I run a food blog as a hobby so I’m constantly hunting for new cafes and restaurants. I work full time (9-5) as an Executive Assistant at a University and I’m usually out and about on weekends. So, I’m mainly just home on week nights. I’ve been renting for the past 2 years and have lived with both male and female professionals who I get along with just fine. I welcome the opportunity to chat over a coffee so we can learn more about each other :)
Hi :) I’m Michael. I’m 28 and work fulltime in the CBD in social media. I currently live in Kew. I’m getting in SUPER early as I’m not looking until mid September. I’ve been living with friends for the last 6 years which has been great! I’m a quiet type, generally keep to myself, but also love to interact with people. I like board game nights, movie nights, hiking and food. I have a little Pomeranian X Chihuahua called a Jack. I need to live with someone who would love him as much as I do. He is an outside dog during the day when I’m not home, otherwise, he is inside. My perfect flatmates like to do their own thing, but also not opposed to shared dinners, great conversations, and a little bit of hanging out! I’m a mad AFL supporter (North Melbourne) and I usually go to every game (including interstate) but if I don’t, it’s likely I’ll be at home watching it :) Can’t wait to make some new memories!
Hi! I'm a 26 year old female from Singapore who's just moved to Melbourne on a working-holiday. I'll be here to study graphic design and also to work full-time when my course ends. I am pretty social, but I like to retreat to a home that is quiet and chill. I am happy to interact but I don't bring my 3am parties home. Being clean and tidy is important to me, so that also means shared spaces will never be messy or dirty - I try to wash my dishes immediately but sometimes leave it overnight though I'd definitely wash it up in the morning. Living an active lifestyle is imperative for me so I do enjoy running, cycling and yoga, though I also love food and enjoy having a few drinks. I'm here in Melbourne to pursue my creative interests, and I love hearing stories from people, and I plan to find ways to weave them together into an interesting project :)
Hi, my name is Paula, I'm from Brazil. In August I'm going to Australia to study general english at Impact School. I'm looking for somewhere not too far from school. I'm a neat person, friendly, a little bit shy, and easygoing. I have 3 siblings so I'm used to sharing a room with them. In my free time I like to watch series, read books and hangin out with my boyfriend / friends to drink beer and listen to music. I like eletronic music, indie/rock bands. I like to know different places and people. I think that is very interesting to meet city by foot, to observe all the details. I intend to travel in other states and cities of Australia. Cigarette smell bothers me, I think people should not smoke indoors. My boyfriend and my dog are my loves.
I'm currently looking to take the plunge and move down to Melbourne from Sydney. I've graduated with a degree in Health Science and I'm currently working in the life insurance/financial services space, and looking to work full-time once I've moved. I'm really easy going and l will usually keep to myself, but if there's music and food around - I'm there. I'm very big on personal development (ie Gary Vee) and I'm deeply passionate about music, where I've been learning to DJ for about a year now. I'm a bit of a neat freak and insist on keeping things tidy! I don't consider myself a chef, but I cook more often than I eat out. I am quit social I love talking about life, growth and adventure almost as much as I love talking about trance.
Hi, I am looking for either an ensuite room or a room in a clean house available for after-6 July. I am social, respectful and also I enjoy hanging out with my housemates (e.g. binge watching movies, playing PS4, drinking, going out, and etc). P.S. The suburbs I have selected are RANDOM and I don't mind if there is a room available in other suburbs as far as it has easy access to CBD.
Hey All, I am a happy, bubbly and fun person. I do find life is full on and get sucked in to working a lot. I am a coffee drinker and love movies and music. I'm from England, have travelled South East Asia and now hold working holiday visa for Australia. Looking to stay around Melbourne for approx 5 months. I'm from professional background and am a respectful, clean & tidy housemate. Currently working 9-5 in CBD. Looking for a room with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and socialising, but not looking for a party apartment. I enjoy cooking and baking, chocolate brownies are a favourite.
I am fun and like to talk. Also I am clean and will respect privacity and hope to be respected as well. Yes, I am male, but if you are a female that doens't mean I will be interested on you, so don't worry. I am just looking for a house mate and not a dating. I need a place close to the city with easy access to flinders station by public transportation. Furnished and vprivate room and internet is required. And please be realistic on the price. The length of stay can be between 1 week and 6 months, depends on the place.
- international student, a honkie 😉 (2 more years study or maybe longer) - laid back, open-minded, - clean, house-trained, - like pets and animals - qualified remedial massage therapist, study to be aromatherapist and myotherapist - started some hobbies: dance, guitar, hola hooping (beginner level😆) Yoohoo....
We are both from Ireland just arrived in Australia in mid May. We are very social and friendly but aren’t party animals. Tidy and respectful. Would love to have flatmates to have a few drinks with in the evenings and go out and about with the odd time! Both sorting work at the moment but will likely be doing Monday-Friday jobs.
I'm chilled out, easy going, tidy and work full time. Huge fan of blues and roots music. Like to catch live gigs when they're on. Right now I'm pretty career focused and travel a lot for work. I'm intelligent and like good conversation, reading and planning my next trip.
Hi, I'm a Brit on a working holiday, looking to move into a private room ASAP! Hoping to stay for around 6 months or more in the right house, but also considering short term lets while I get to know the city and secure full time work. 30 yo professional, sociable but beyond regular wild nights out these days..! Enjoy reading, yoga, health & fitness, arts & culture, science & nature... Lefty, open, vegan, and looking for similar but not at all fussy or bothered about others doing exactly as they please! Clean and live minimally in terms of possessions. Happy to provide any additional info on request 😁

Then I came back to my job but I couldn't keep myself away from Australia, now I'm coming back around July to study Bachelor of Cookery. It's going to be 3 years if everything goes well. When I move out from here, I'm going to leave my 2 cats in my hometown with my parents. So future flatmates; Pets are more than OK for me! I can take a dog out for a walk and I'd love to take care of your pets as mine , I also love gardening. I'm cheerful, friendly, outgoing, open-minded. I like partying , movie nights, watching TV-series, camping, going for a ride with my motorbike, grabbing a glass of wine or beer and chill sometimes..Not a 24 hours party animal but I like meeting with new people, chatting, sharing thoughts, funny stories, dancing, attending gigs as much as I like studying, chilling at home, going to gym, practising new things such as cooking, poi, slackline and else. I do respect other's life and spaces. But I wanna be more than just "Hi!- Bye!" kinda flatmates. I'm looking for a place as a private room. I may also consider a teamup as I will stay in Aus more than 3 years. Cheers!
