Hi all, I’m Rachael, 26 years old from the U.K. I’m arriving in Melbourne on 6th November and have a working holiday visa, but planning to be based in Melbourne for the whole year. Would be looking to find a furnished room in a friendly house share soon after arriving. I’m a History teacher here in England and am all registered with a teaching agency in Melbourne should something suitable come up for the new academic year. Either way, I’ll definitely be looking for a job once I arrive but have plenty of savings in the meantime so rent and bills won’t be a problem. I like to keep active by playing netball, going to the gym, for walks etc and am generally a chilled, considerate person but also friendly/bubbly and always keen for a chat. Love a good brunch and coffee too! Have lived in house shares all during my time at uni so got plenty of experience with that. If you want to know anymore, just drop me a message and look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, Rach :)
Hey I'm Jess I'm a psychology graduate living in Melbourne, currently working at a cafe in the CBD. I'm English and have lived in and out of Melbourne since 2014. I'm friendly and outgoing whilst also being clean and tidy. I love going out for dinner and to bars with friends keeping it humble during the week and going out / doing things on the weekend !
I am clean and friendly! I'm looking for a short-term stay (about until March). I'm moving from Brisbane in Jan to study, so I'm looking for something -not too expensive- and as close as I can to the city. I've lived with other people before and happy to do it again. I pretty much clean for work and I do the same at home. I will give you all the space you want but won't be awkwardly antisocial.
Hi there! I'm a 20 years old girl from Italy that is currently looking for a private room around Melbounre. the falt doesnt have to be in th CBD but i would rather find something not too far from the city and easly accessible with public transport. Something more about my self: I'm living in Austrlia about an year, really easy going but polite, tidy and respectful. I usually find my slef more confortable with people older than me probably cause I'm really independent and responsable. I love socializing and stay in company but I really need some space for my self as well so I am the first one who tries to respect each others privacy. I love cooking and i would like to start working back in a kitchen soon; I like reading and going for long walks and last watching movies. I would be more than happy to have a chat if you would be interested. Please notice that I'm looking for someone to share a flat not just renting the room and spend there all my time; it woukd be enough just have a chat together now and then, a glass of wine or watch a movie Hope to hear soon from you. kind regards Valeria
I'm very easy going and tolerant. I get along well with most folks. I'm always interested in stimulating conversation and learning about new things. As regards work, I have a PhD in mathematics and I work for a city University. My other interests include foreign language, guitar, chess, history and cooking. I prefer to live in a relaxed environment. If you would be interested in having me to share, please feel free to contact me.
I'm a full time student, I work part time in a pastry kitchen on my days off of school. I am generally a quiet person. I respect people's privacy and personal space. I consider myself a considerate person as I always clean up after myself in the kitchen and the bathroom. Pretty much as house-trained as anyone can be! :)
Hi all, Originally from Sydney and spent the last year settling in in a place all by myself! Hoping to move in with someone laid back who doesn't mind the occasional drink (or doesn't mind if I have one?). I don't like to bring the party home, train often - in the mornings, and work fairly long hours so will be a pretty quiet housemate! That said always up for the odd meal and/or chat in the evening. Also love my sports- either live or catch up. Cons: not big on reality TV but you do you! Flexible with time frame, ideally 6 months+ and flexible with a move date, anytime between now and Dec 1. Look forward to hearing from you Thanks! Maddy
Hi there! I'm Pauline, from France. Just arrived in Melbourne few days ago, I'm actually looking for a private room into a sharing house or flat. I've just found a job as a waitress in a nice bar in the city center so I'll work mostly on the evenings and during the week-end. I'd like to find a lively place sharing with people from differents nationalities. It's the best way to share and discover differents cultures! I'm a respectful and tidy person always ready to go for a few drinks! :) Looking forward to meeting you! Cheers!
Clean, social, considerate, and a food lover. Interested in design, art galleries, theatre shows, and music. Currently been living interstate and making the move back to Melbourne. Enjoy the occasional night out and catching up with friends and family.
I am Frederik, a 23 year old german guy. I am going to study Business at the Deakin University for one trimester. I am looking for a nice room in a nice apartment with easy going people who love to have a chat or going out for a beer. I am a really clean person. Cheers :-)
I've been living in Melbourne for a year, but am moving off residence at Deakin (where i study law and international studies) in Feb of 2018. I love to party (except during exam period), binge watch netflix and make new friends (which is what i'm hoping to find here). Hoping to find someone to find a house or apartment with.
Hey, I'm looking for a new place to call home. I work full time in the CBD during the week at a digital design and development agency. I spend my free time at the beach or outdoors in summer, with friends seeing live music/discovering new bars, or creating things - I'm a coder. Like a lot of people I am seeking the perfect balance of having a housemate/s to share the occasional beer and burger with but also a place to get some down time to myself. I've lived in a lot of share houses so I know how to clean up after myself and prefer living with people who also like to live in a clean and tidy place.
I’m pretty driven so work hard (9-5ish) but like to play just as hard as I work... so I want a house that can balance them both. Would like a house the doesn’t mind a summer bbq or summer sesh but overall is down to earth, easy going and relatively clean. I’m 29, play footy and work full time in Hawthorn as an Exercise Physiologist. Interests - pretty stock standard - Parties, going to the beach, dogs, music (anything from Missy Higgins to Fetty Wap to Daft, tv shows (How I Met Your Mother, The Office
Hi there I am looking to move close to Melbourne CBD for convenience..commuting to work. I am an easy-going personality.. introverted and would be comfortable with someone who is open-minded and respectful. I am pretty much familiar with shared space etiquette. Loves clean environment and a non-smoker, non-drinker and knows bit of cooking as well. ;).
I'm a full time primary school teacher in Camberwell and I absolutely love my job. I'm 25 years old and looking to move out of home. I'm reliable, neat and a sociable person. I love spending time with my friends on the weekend. It would be lovely to live with someone who would enjoy going for a walk and coffee on a Sunday morning! A place close to school, a private bathroom and a safe spot for my car would be ideal. :) look forward to meeting you!
Hi guys! I'm an Italian girl in Australia since the last April. I'm very tidy and clean and for this reason I prefer to live in a place without pets, but I love dogs!!! I like TV series, reading and karting, and I really love to share a bottle of a good red wine =D! I'm looking for a room in a share house as soon as possible! Thank you heaps!!
Hey guys, I'm Andrew, I'm a really easy going active 25 year old. I work full time for a property developer in the city and looking to move in a bit closer to all the action. Love to have a casual drink, go to the beach when its warm enough, gym, row, ride and binge watch tv series. I come with netflix, a PS4 and a projector which makes a great combo for movie nights or having a gaming sesh.
Hi, I'm currently living in Perth but will be making the move over to Melbourne within the next month or so and am looking for a furnished private room in shared house. I work full-time in digital marketing for a company based in Canada, so generally work from home/library/internet cafe/anywhere with a view. I also run my own little freelancing business on the side so generally work quite long days. That being said, I am always up for a shared meal, going out to dinner, trying new bars or exploring the city on the weekends and evenings. As I'm moving over from Perth I don't have many friends here, so would ideally like to move into a shared house with a bit of a social vibe, who like to hang out together in their spare time and share a glass of wine in the evenings and on weekends. I'm super clean and tidy, and am really respectful of other peoples space and privacy. I've got a steady income so can be relied on to pay the rent and bills when they're due and chip in for household things. I love the Richmond area and would ideally like to move into a house in Richmond or its surrounding suburbs - somewhere close to the CBD but south of Melbourne. Please send me a message if you'd think we'd be a good fit.
A work transfer has just recently brought me from Sydney to lovely Melbourne. I work in retail design. My lifestyle is an active one; walking, dancing, and enjoying urban adventures. I'm friendly, considerate, clean and tidy. I enjoy cooking and love to have a chat over a glass of wine. I look forward to meeting you!
I am a friendly , outgoing person from Sri Lanka. I have stayed with different friends in my university. I have the ability of working and staying together building a friendly environment. i would like to meet new people from different cultures and backgrounds and at the same time I would like to have my own space when needed.
Hi guys, My name is Silma and I have recently been employed in a full time position in Hawthorn. I'm originally from Geelong and 25 years old. I'm looking to live with other girls who are fun but also enjoy their downtime. I'm generally a pretty tidy person, and like to keep to myself. However, I do enjoy vegging out on the couch with friends or having a get together with friends, too! Fun fact: my friends and family say I make the best brownies and cupcakes :D
I am easy going and love to relax at home so I try to be tidy and clean. I also love dancing, food and coffee and am probably going to start studying in 2018. I'll be working in the city so am hoping for accommodation reasonably close. I am a Queenslander so am keen to meet new people and become familiar with Victorian life 😊
