Hello! I am over on a working holiday visa from the uk! And am looking for a room in a house for 4-6 weeks from the 1st January :) I am friendly, sociable and clean and tidy! Currently living in Elwood.
Hi potential roomies, hope to hear from you soon! My name is Lucas and I'm a 30 year old guy currently working for the Bureau of Meteorology near southern cross. I enjoy watching movies and TV shows in my spare time, or reading useless facts on the internet (trivia is fun). I also enjoy going to the beach, going on road-trips, and Nandos! I can alternate between being very social and very not, depends on mood. I grew up in QLD though have lived in Melbourne since 2009. I'm getting back into fitness and health after knee surgery in April (2017)... Starting off well so far and looking at trying to find some new hobbies when I can (rock climbing hopefully soon). Would enjoy doing these types of things with you if you're interested. I'm looking for somewhere that will become available any time after now through to 'early-ish' next year (Just after new year's would probably be ideal.) Also, need somewhere close to public transport due to lack of a vehicle. Thanks! Lucas
I am really quiet person. Respectful of each other. I love to live in a super clean house. That's really important for me! I love to do sports. Few times a week I'm going to gym and pool! I like to have a chat and a drink with mine housemates but at same time I love to have time for myself cause working 6 days a week doesn't let me have much time on my own.
I consider myself to be an interesting, peaceful, friendly individual with an open mind. I enjoy spontaneous adventures, treks, Music festivals and any kind of fitness/wellbeing. I'm someone who likes socialising and equally enjoys time by myself. I tend to keep things tidy and respect shared space. Always up for going out exploring and trying new things or just lay back sit at home and watch something or even engaging in deep intellectual conversations. Un-winding with a drink or an is something I tend to enjoy. I'm from Bombay, India and currently doing my Masters of business in Monash. Will be spending most of my time studying or working part-time. Looking forward in meeting my new housemates :)
We have just finished travelling New Zealand an would now like to set up in Melbourne. We lived in Sydney for the last 6 months and now want to give Melbourne a go. Me and my partner are both easy going fun people who are flirty clean, tidy and respectful people. We will both be looking for full time work when we find a place to stay. I work in sales an recruitment and my partner works on construction. We are both willing to listen to any offered and properties as we really just want to settle in as soon as possible and start looking for work.
Hi I'm Susan! I'm looking for a private room to stay from Feb.1 for a year or so. I speak fluent English so there won't be many communication problems. My friends say I am considerate and patient so I think I'm the "easy to get along with" type, I'm going to study Master of Teaching next February at UniMelb. I enjoy a wide range of hobbies, like swimming, jogging, watching sci-fis and volunteering. I'm from China and I can cook quite a few Chinese delicacies, and I'm also a foodie haha. I would like to find a nice female flatmate who doesn't mind sharing, good-tempered, and respects privacy. Look forward to meeting you :)
House trained, approachable and easy-going. I work full-time and like to stay active. Originally from the country, I've lived out of home for a while now and am a respectful roommate, very clean and tidy, and I'm always open to a chat or to do something! looking for a home, to stay a minimum of 6 months.
I am a 20-year-old student, hoping to relocate to Melbourne from rural Armidale, NSW to study and work part-time. I am known to be organised, tidy and out-going. I had a GAP year which thought me how to be independent and open up to all cultures. I am a big foodie and am also vegetarian. Coffee, dog and plant lover. I enjoy a good cheese board and watching endless amounts of tv shows while so going out to socialise. I've decided to move to Melbourne as I believe there is more opportunity to be in the media/communication industry.
Hi! A 27yo female originally from South Korea, a graduate from UniMelb, who's been working overseas in the corporate sector for the last four years, now taking a break to do a master. I just flew back to Australia 2-3 months ago. Currently, I am doing a part-time job, and looking for a place to move in preferably with people around my age to chill together, grab a beer or a glass of wine every now and then, you know. I love love love animals, prefers edms, and in my spare time I tend to go to the gym, clean the closet, (try to) surf, and read a book on the beach, movies :)
Hi! I'm Rachel, I'm 26 and I work full time as a Relationship Manager in the city. I'm looking for somewhere fully furnished for a while but can purchase my furniture if need be. I'm very tidy and keep to myself most of the time but like a chat sometimes. Love the coast and getting out of the house on the weekends. I'm easy going, laid back and love cooking and getting out for a walk. Let me know if you've got anything going :-) Rachel
Originally from the tiny country of Monaco, I will be coming to Melbourne around mid-January 2018, on a Working Holiday visa, for a six month internship in the CBD. I am easy-going, friendly and respectful. I enjoy spending my free time hanging out with friends but also like to be on my own.
I'm a 23 year old who has recently moved to Melbourne. I work full time in the CBD and like to spend my weekends exploring the city. I am looking for housemates who I get along with, and are just as easy going and up for a chat and a wine as I am.
Tidy, reapectful, relaxed housemate. I have shared for a few years and am respectful of my environment and other housemates. I work in the corporate environment as a HR Manager and in my time off love to be out and about hiking, rock climbing, trying new restaurants, movies and enjoying all Melb has to offer. I currently have furniture in storage and can either bring or move into furnished home with too much disruption. Looking forward to hearing from you. Regards Jo
Hey everyone, I’m looking for a room near Hawthorn- flexible with length of stay/suburbs and open to teamups. :) I don't really mind who you are or what things you like doing, the only traits i'm really looking for are people who are laidback, open-minded and considerate of personal boundaries like privacy and comfort zones- if we get along well, nothing else is a concern for me. ...and punctuality with rent/housekeeping, but I suppose that's a given. 😌 I'd like to establish a cosy home atmosphere where everyone can feel genuinely "at home" and not just staying somewhere, and where there's no constant pressure to socialize but the opportunity is always there- it'd be great to live with people who can give you space but also have a good chat with. I love doing things that involve film, music, games and outings such as live events- and especially love it when there's other people to do it with, so flatmates who'd like to do those things are a bonus. If those things aren't really your cup of tea, i'm also open to new things and don't really drag people into my personal hobbies anyway. I don't care if you're alternative, sporty, artsy, introvert or extrovert, it's all totally fine- anyone that's kind and open-minded is good in my books. :) If you think we might get along, send me a message so we can chat- and possibly make plans if we do get along well. :) (Oh, if you're worried about my age and capacity for living independently- i've already adjusted to adult life so i'm fine in that regard, not a big spender. I also have an excellent rental history that I can provide references for upon request.)
Hey, My wife and I (both 27) are coming to explore Australia. We are looking where to stay for about 2 weeks, maybe longer. It would be nice to stay with cool company who likes adventures. We love traveling and trying new activities.
Hello future Roomie, My names Jake I'm 22, and I'm moving to Melbourne from Tassie in early 2018 to attend Swinburne University. I'm a young, gay guy who likes to have dinner, dinner parties, go out for a couple of drinks after a good meal, very clean and tidy, and if you need privacy I'm more than happy to get out of your hair :) I'm currently working for Coles so if I'm not at Uni I'll be at work. I'm funny and easy to get along with, I do have car so will need somewhere for him to go as well. Any other questions or queries please shoot me a message. Hope we talk soon, Jake :)
Hey flatmate friends! I am in search for a short or long term home with humble humans. About me: I am a part time professional and I study part time in admin. I enjoy music, arts and fitness, singing, sketching and reading books on a variety of musicians. I also have a very big enjoying of discussing music, classic film and cinema, documentaries, what happens around the world and how we can make contribute to making our world a better place. I am not in the least a party person however I do enjoy going to a pub or a bar with some music and a few pale ales and meeting new and fun individuals. I would like to find a place no more than a 20 minute train from the CBD. If there was an air conditioner in the room that would be a bonus however not important and I would also pay extra for the air conditioning towards bills. As a housemate: I am very laid back, charismatic, very clean, love to cook for the house, courteous of other peoples space and privacy, I always contribute to household items and do my share of cleaning around the house. Hope my ad has appealed to somebody and I look forward to hearing from you soon! Best regards.
Socially active and open minded kinda guy with great sense of humour and try to crack good humourous jokes so people around me are always happy. Deakin Student Media,Arts and Public relation An efficient worker Loves to cook Music Lover Best Beer buddie at times!! Unemployed yet but soon gonna start part time
I've just recently arrived here from New Zealand, and plan on being here long term. I work as a software engineer in Richmond, so a place nearby would be ideal. I'm looking for a chill place to live, where my flatmates actually hang out with each other, rather than just doing their own thing. I'm not just looking for a place to sleep, but a place to live. I really enjoy cooking, and especially BBQing, so a BBQ is a big plus. I enjoy spending time outdoors, I don't like being cooped up for too long inside. I enjoy bushwalking and pretty much any outdoor activities.
Im a kiwi guy (34). Easy going, clean and tidy, respectful, reliable and prett laid back. It's always more fun with a person or group. I'm extremely easy going. It takes quite a bit to get me annoyed. I'm organised, tidy and responsible. I'm also the worlds greatest dancer.
