Sean and I are from England. We are an easy going couple who like to chill and watch cartoons as well as have a beer or three with our pals. We respect our flatmates space and are clean/tidy. Sean is a barista and I am a baker :) We are in Australia on a 1 yr holiday working/visa and will be spending 6 months, at least, working/living in Melbourne
I am a 28 year old guy from Amsterdam who is currently traveling the world after working 8 years as a young professional in Telecommunications. I've recently arrived in Melbourne and I noticed I really love it here. That's why I'm looking for a place to call home. I'm also planning to work as much as possible in the next few months. People appreciate me because of my positive, outgoing and happy attitude. I'm reliable, trustworthy and very social. I would describe myself as the 'just trying to be happy kinda guy'. I'm sociable, reliable, friendly, considerate and trustworthy. I'm a vegetarian and a smoker (but can smoke outside), I love beers and I am a music lover in general (would love to learn to play any instrument!). Other things I appreciate: food & cooking, sustainable living, serious conversations, spirituallity and the smell of washing powder. Ideally I'm seeking for a chilled out, homely and cosy plase to call home in area's like Fitzroy, Coburg, Brunswick, Northcote, Richmond, Collingwood, St. Kilda, Windsor or surrounding area's. BUT, I'm really flexible so if you have a room somewhere else, please let me know as well! At the moment I don't have a place to live so I would rather move in yesterday then tomorrow :) So, if you concider to rent out a room and you are looking for an awesome housemate, don't hesitate to contact me right away so we could have a chat in real life soon (that probably gives a way better impression of myself then this story)
I'm a happy easy going sort, I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, I LOVE cooking with fresh produce and exercising whenever I get the chance- walking, running, yoga, kayla in the lounge room- you name it I'm down. I'm working full-time in childcare and studying my Diploma of Early childhood by distance, so during the week I'm quite busy and tired and will most likely (try to) spend time on my computer studying. On the weekends I try not to take life too seriously, I like to meet new people/experience new things, eat out, eat in, see friends/family, love live music and enjoy being in good company. In terms of living I am very clean and would benefit housing with similar minded/mature people who respect each other's privacy but enjoy having a yarn (:
Hi My name is Toni, I am an 18years old student from China, now studying fashion and textile merchandising at RMIT Brunswick. Now looking for an available private room to rent. I am really friendly but quite and as I spent 3 years in Sydney and finished high school study. There will be no problems in communication. I like to ride my bike and go to the gym a lot, so Keeping myself fit is my biggest hobby at the moment, I like to listen to lots of EDM as well. I also have previous experience in renting the room so I'll be familiar with the procedure, definitely easy to deal with. My parents will be paying for my expenses in Australia so there will be no difficulty paying the rent on time. Cheers
I've just moved over from Adelaide and decided to move to Melbourne after spending most of last year in Europe and a bit of Asia too - so escaping my home town again. I’ve shared many houses in my time and know how to clean up after myself and generally being an easy housemate to get along with. I enjoy sharing houses with social housemates who are keen to share the occasional meal and a few drinks - so that kind of situation would be ideal - but also aware of peoples personal space and enjoy my own down time too. I like seeing live music, the beach, getting out into nature but I’m also a web developer and work on my own web projects in me free time when I’m not out in the sun.
I'm a friendly, outgoing and social professional who works in international trade. I am looking to live with a likeminded person or two who enjoys cooking, eating out, exercise, travel and most importantly wine. I'm also tidy :)
I'm 25 from Surf Coast VIC, recently started working in Richmond full time and the commute is becoming a little too much! I've just finished a lease, was living with 2 girls my age for 2 years or so. I'm pretty chilled, easy going but also can be very social at times. I'm clean and respectful of people's space etc! looking for a home not just a room. Interested in sharing with people my age :) also interesting in teaming up to find a place!
Hi there! After spending last two years travelling in Aussie and few Asian countries, I decided to go back to study (nursing), so I'm a full time student and part-time worker (health). I'm very easygoing and tidy Italian guy looking for decent place (6 to 12 months..) and great people to have a chat with if wanted, but mindful of others space. I lived with a vast variety of different people from different countries, I like to respect others beliefs and lifestyles as I like to be respected for what I am. I shared houses for quite long time, I love music (I love buy my records), cinema and cooking, I eat everything, but I'm practically vegetarian, I lived with vegetarians and we often eat and cook together, I generally cook my stuff though. I like wines and try new beers, I find Australian handcrafted one pretty good! At moment I don't have a tremendous budget for living (but I'm always in time with bills) and finding a place cheap or with expenses included would be awesome! If you feel like, say Hi;))
I'm Suzie from Germany and I'm very open-minded, easy-going and uncomplicated. I'm very impressed by Melbourne and I want to make the best of my stay here. When I'm not at work, I love to cook and spending some time with my lovely friends. Furthermore I love petting my cat Filou and listen too electronic music and deep house. One of my biggest interests is fashion...I'm literally a fashion addict. Since I have a full-time job here in Melbourne I'm reliable to pay the weekly rent. Cleanliness and respect for the host are self-evident to me. I want to explore as much as possible in Melbourne and it would be cool, if you're also an open-minded person, who can give me some recommendations :)
We are both moving to Melbourne from Sydney for roughly a month with work. We are both laid-back, friendly, clean and respectful of others. We have both also lived out of home for a number of years. Most of the time during the week we will be at work.
I work full time and am also studying in the city. I would like minimum 3 month stay and bills included if possible. I have my own furnishings. I have a very busy schedule so mostly just keep to myself to study when at home. Generally a quiet person but would like to have a housemate that wouldn't mind sharing a dinner and having a chat :-)
Hey guys, I’m looking for a place that I can call home! My budget is around $200 pw starting from March, ideally in East Melbourne, Richmond, Fitzroy, Collingwood, South Yarra, CBD. Here is a little facts about me: I’m 22, from Malaysia. I’m coming to Melbourne this year for my postgrad. I’m a tidy, open-minded, considerate and really down to earth person. I like socializing but also enjoy my quiet time and respect others privacy at the same time. I love good coffee, wine and movie. Non-smoker. LGBT+ friendly Let me know if you have anything that might suit! xx :))
Hi! We're a couple and a single guy, I'm 28 from Italy, my boyfriend 24 from France and our friend is 31 from Vietnam (Aussie citizen). We're looking for a double and a single room in a quiet sharehouse 'cause we're working and we need a place to rest. We like to live with other people and we're use to share (we were living in a 14 rooms sharehouse), we love music, movies and food, we like to have a drink and a chat all together, we're very respectful, tidy and clean. If you have 2 free rooms or you want to start a new sharehouse together contact me!
I am moving to Melbourne to start a dream job working at a group of hospitals. I am a numbers nerd who works in Analytics, and have done for the past 4 years. I've been renting share houses for 7 years throughout Sydney and after travelling Europe for 3 months, I am very excited to do so again in Melbourne. I like music anything from Hendrix to De la Soul to Ben Sims, would love a place where I can set up a small, but decent hifi sound system (hopefully one I have built myself!). I also like to Ski and recently developed a taste for cooking. I've been described as an easy housemate and have never been late on rent or a bill!
Monday to Friday corporate life, I work full time in HR. I'm always down for binge watching a good tv show or movies or UFC. Enjoy going to gigs (if you're in need of a gig buddy I'm your gal) and like getting out of the city and going on hikes / camping. Social but also want to be able to chill out on my own. Also respectful of others' need for me time. No pets but an animal lover, extra points if you have a cat.
Hey there! I'm Erin, I'm 29 and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I'm employed full time, working as the Design Manager for Marshall White Real Estate. I'm a yoga addict, but when I'm not at work or in the studio I spend most nights out exploring Melbourne's incredible food scene or trying a new class or workout. I love nature, the beach, festivals, breakfast adventures, dogs, sunshine, yoga and a good cup of coffee. I also love exploring Melbourne by bike and travelling the world. I'm looking to move in with some relaxed, positive and respectful housemates that have their own thing going on but don't mind a catch up over a glass of wine, a movie or a house dinner. Although I do like going out from time to time, I'm not looking for a party house, but rather a clean and tidy place to kick back and unwind after a busy day. I'm an open minded, big hearted, glass half full kinda person and it is essential that you are the same!
Hi I am from South America, i am looking for a private room close to the city because i want to live close to work. I'm very tidy, responsible with my bill and love chatting but also having my own time to rest because I work really hard. I love dancing so I can teach some salsa moves, I speak Spanish fell free to learn with me! I am a good housemate, I respect others so I can be treated in the same way.
Hi, we are two english girls nearly half way through our second year of living in Australia. We are both full time workers - Kate works in an office on reception and Sophie is a hairdresser. We are very clean, tidy and respectful housemates. With both of us working full time it would be nice to have a clean house to come home to and be able to relax after a long day. We enjoy the gym, going out for food and exploring different and new places. It would be amazing to live with people of the same nature :) If you like the sound of us then please get in touch! Kate and Sophie.
I am from India, I will be studying Master of Management (Project Management) in La Trobe University City Campus. I am extrovert and open-minded.I am a non-smoker and non-drinker ( not even occasional), I don't mind smoking or drinking unless I'm insisted so please take a note of it. Also I'm quite possessive to my religious aspects (like eating non-halal food, drinking and others) but not extreme. I respect privacy and never do something that will embarrass or disappoint my fellow roommates. Apart from this I like to go out, play games (indoor or outdoor), gym, cooking, reading, helping the fellow roommates the best from my side, being clean and hygienic, taking care of myself and little OCD to few things :P. I don't mind sharing room with people from any background. If you are from India or Muslim, we would love to be with you. So either way I will be fine. If you have pets like cats or dogs, that will also not be a problem ( I'm cat-lovers :P but wouldn't mind a dog. ) Also, If there is any accommodation like Paying Guest (PG) or Homestays in the city or suburbs I will also consider that. :) P.S : Once again, I am great to live with.
Hi I am Sven. I am studying in Melbourne at the Victoria University at the law school for one semester. I would and I guess my friends back home would describe myself as an uncomplicated and laid-back guy. I like to cook together and share a meal, basically I like to take it easy but don't worry I won't dodge from cleaning or other household-related work.
I'm Ali, 26 and originally from NZ (you can take the piss out of my accent). Currently looking for a room in a sharehouse in Richmond, Collingwood, Fitzroy or Abbotsford. I work part time as a lawyer in the CBD and am also studying towards my masters at Melbourne Uni. I'm friendly, reliable and clean! I love keeping fit, getting into nature and socialising with friends over good food and a beverage or too. Get in touch if I sound like someone you'd like to live with!
Hi, I am an 22 years old master student from Germany. Holding a bachelors degree in "economics", I am now enrolled in the 3 years "Master of Construction Management" program at the University of Melbourne. I am easy going, clean and sociable... but I guess that´s what everybody writes about himself. I love to hang out with friends, work out or cook. Besides that I am always down for a beer or the occasionally glass of vino. If you have a spare room or you are interested in teaming up, shoot me a message so we can meet for a coffee or beer and see how we come along. Cheers, Paul
Living in St Kilda at the moment, I'm a musician looking to move closer to bandrooms in brunswick for gigging. Teacher of psychology classes at Melb Uni. Looking for a communal sharehouse with easy going people :)

Also Fitzroy would be the dream place. We're open to anything really: flat, house, team up, anything can work for us as long as it's not more than $250/week per person Let us know if you're keen, cheeeeers

Hi! I am a 29 (soon to be 30) year old female from San Francisco. Don’t worry, I dislike Trump too, and if you don’t maybe we shouldn’t be roommates ;) I moved here a couple months ago and the room I have been renting will soon no longer be available. I work for myself as a Fashion Designer and started my own label almost a year ago; I also do Photo Retouching (image editing/photo manipulation in Photoshop). My usual routine includes working from a café during the day, yoga, and I either tango or salsa dancing. I like to eat pretty healthy and usually a vegetarian diet and am a non-smoker. I am clean and have a steady income so rent will not be an issue. I keep pretty busy and focused on growing my brand but I also enjoy my socializing. I plan to be here at least a year, possibly longer. If this sounds like it could be a good fit please let me know, if my lifestyle isn’t your jam no harm no foul! I look forward to meeting you and checking out the place! Cheers! Brie
My friend and I are looking for accommodation whilst at University! I (Sarah) am doing a bachelor of business management at RMIT (city campus) and my friend (Renee) is doing a bachelor of sports science at ACU. We're both first year uni students, with classes starting as of February 27th. Please please get in touch if you're interested! Thanks.
Hi I'm Jacinda, I'm 25 years old. I work as an Occupational Therapist and acting study part time. I'm New to Melbourne. I have lived in share houses for six years so I know the drill- clean, tidy, respect your things and personal space when needed and I hope for the same in return. Hi, I'm Quentin, 23 years old from France. I arrived in Melbourne on Monday night and I just started an internship to validate my Master's degree at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research near the Royal Melbourne Hospital. I am looking for an accommodation available ASAP for a period of 6-7 months. I am paid and I also received a French scholarship for my internship, so I will have no problem paying my rent on time. Since my 18 years I do house/flatsharing, so I am more than accustomed. During this period, I crossed many people from different countries not any Australian yet ! Sociable by nature, I know how to adapt to the characters of my roommates, I do my share of household tasks and I am a real cordon bleu ! Even if we separate our food, I often cook or do pastries to pass the time. You could have your share ! I will also be delighted to start a discussion about a beer or a glass of wine either outside or at home. I think I'm never short of discussion, this is surely my French side! Cheers, Quentin.

Hi! We're two English post-grad professionals looking to find a one bedroom flat in Fitzroy! Are easy going, tidy, chilled out & respectful... looking for somewhere to call home whilst we live here 3-6 months preffered! Thanks :)
Hi, I’m a professional working full time in the Textiles/Fashion industry. I like sport, I play netball twice a week. I’m also a bit creative and enjoy drawing and sewing. I'm a pretty relaxed easy going person, who likes to have a chat (or watch a movie) and chill out in the evenings. I enjoy a good coffee and socialising. I'm looking for a place to call home, with similar age people.
I am a 23-year old guy from Amsterdam that has lived in and traveled Australia for slightly over a year now. I used to live in Brisbane and moved to Sydney after, while having just arrived to Melbourne. I got lucky in both cities with a great house and more importantly even greater roommates. For me it's very important to get along and to create a welcoming and social atmosphere. Paco Taco Tuesdays used to be Brisbane's finest Mexican cuisine once a week, or the French versus Dutch pie cook-off, or the weekly Game of Thrones bonanza. My previous roommates would consider me easy to live with, social and a close friend. That is what I would like to have in Melbourne as well. I am quite tidy and organized and will be working sometimes, but I am always down to do something or go somewhere, have a drink, do a little dance.
Hi there! I'm a tidy and easy-going person looking for a private room in a place near to a train station and/or tram stop. I'm a hospitality and tourism professional who prefer a quiet place to share with one person in their mid-20's to 30's. I use to be responsible with my bills. I like to be social but also I respect other's privacy. I enjoy my free time doing some activities such as walking, movies, music, dance, running or just chilling out in some outdoor activities.
I'm looking to relocate to the inner east side of Melbourne to be closer to work and uni. I'd be happy to move into an established share house or start a new one. I'm generally pretty quiet during the week because of work and uni however I do try to get the most out of my weekends. Preferably I would like to live with people around the same age who would be up for a weekend brunch session or go out for a few drinks every now and then. If I sound like the type of person you are looking for and/or you want to know more about me please send me a message.
I am from Ireland and have lived in Melbourne for 3 years. I am very relaxed guy who likes anything to do with water. I am a big fan of most sport, movies and music. I am a full time sailing coach/ manager at a yacht club on the bay.

Hi, I'm Megan, a 25 year old doctor. I'm an easy going tidy person and am moving to Melbourne for work next year from Sydney. I'll be arriving on Feb 5th, and am looking for somewhere to live short-term (about a month) while I find somewhere to set myself up permanently. Ideally I'd like to live not too far away from the Royal Children's Hospital.
I consider myself to be a peaceful, friendly individual with an open mind. I enjoy spontaneous adventures, treks, Music festivals, fitness. I'm someone who enjoys the company of others and enjoys time by myself equally. I tend to keep things tidy as I have mild ocd. Un-winding with a drink or some meditation is something I tend to engage in. Im from Bombay, India and currently doing my Masters in Monash. Will be spending most of my time studying or working part-time. Looking forward to meet my new flatmates.
Hey there potential flatmates (and friends). My name is Aisha (pronounced Ayyy-sha) and I have recently moved to Melbourne from the nations capital. I have secured work at a cute lil cafe in Camberwell, and I'll be doing some online study come mid March but until, then I'd like to find a place to home myself and my belongings. I am a friendly gal, always up for a bit of banter. I am clean and tidy, I try to stay relatively active and I like to cook (mostly cos I like to eat). I drink an average of 6 cups of tea a day and brunch is my favourite meal. Ps. Will bring cupcakes to meetings upon request
I have recently relocated from Brisbane and am looking for a house with some super friendly people to live with. I work full time in the city and taking night classes at RMIT. I love having a beer and hanging out with housemates but also enjoy my quiet time.
Hello, we are a very nice couple and we have just arrived in melbourne on 02 february. My name is Charlene and my boyfriend Roman. Roman is a pastry cook on a full-time basis and I myself work at home for a French-speaking Australian family. We are looking forward to meeting you and sharing good times and French pastry. see you soon
The flowiest of Flo's. From Scotland. I'm very relaxed, calm, and easy to get along with. I like to appreciate life at a slow and steady pace. I'm a chef, so very much enjoy getting funky in the kitchen. I like sharing and a good sence of community. I spend most of my free time outside, meandering, or writing lists of newly discovered bands or recipes. I like the occasional bevy and boogie, keen to explore Melbourne's night life scene a little more. I love music and listen to alot, I like most genres, apart from the heavy metal angry shouty stuff. Give me some Bonobo any day 👌 I love cleaning, this may sound weird to some but it's a serious passion, there's nothing better than a day of cleaning and tunes! I'm very compassionate and I love a good chat, I always help people when I can. I'm very honest and have high morals. I have lived in an array of different shared accommodation previously and I have pure and fond memories of each and every experience.
Hello I'm Eileen, 22, finished a photography degree and currently looking for photography work in Melbourne, all the while, working as a waitress in a restaurant. I enjoy art/galleries, board games and a good drink. I'm easy-going, LGBT+ friendly and sociable. Looking for a private room in a sharehouse where everyone respect each other and also share the fun of living together instead of hiding in their own rooms. If it sounds suitable for your house, I would love to hear from you, thank you.
