I'm 25 and recently moved over from the UK, I have always lived with friends so looking for somewhere to call a home rather than just a place to stay. I do the mon-fri grind and socialise on weekends :) Happy to try out a team-up with the right people, or just rent a room out so feel free to message!
Ray: I am clean, chill and pretty quiet at home. I'm a good cook! Friendly and new to the city so I'd love to socialize with flatmates, but also respect and need personal space & privacy. Shelby: I am friendly, and outgoing Canadian. I do not tend to spend a lot of time at home as I like to keep myself busy. When I am at home I like to cook, or spend time relaxing.
Hello! I am moving to Melbourne from the US on October 26th. I have temporary housing set up until November 9th and am looking for a place starting anytime between Oct. 26th and Nov. 9th. I will be working full-time monitoring clinical trials, which will require periodic interstate travel during the week. I am easy going, friendly and considerate. I enjoy going out on the weekends and hanging out with friends. When I am home, I prefer a relaxed environment where I can lounge around, watch TV or read.
So... a bit about me... I'm 36 and currently working full time in Marketing and Sales. I've spent the past year in Queensland on the coast but originally a Melbourne girl at heart. I'm looking for an awesome housemate / housemates in a new place to call home. I am very tidy and clean (yet not OCD clean), social yet also very respectful of peoples privacy. When not working I'm either studying (Marketing and Communications through RMIT online) or binging on netflix on my laptop or enjoying a cheeky beer or two or cooking up a yummy storm :) On weekends I love enjoying all that this amazing city has to offer such as gigs (love music!), cafes, bars, galleries, street art, etc. I love a chilled out vibe and housemates who can hang out yet also do their thing respectfully. A comfortable living space is important to me. I'm a bit of a city girl so looking for CBD, or somewhere funky like Brunswick, Carlton, Richmond or South Yarra but in saying that, as I work on the Frankston line, I'm also open to Seaford way -in which case, after just coming from the coast, close to be beach would be a bonus if I end up that side. After a private room only. Cheers for reading- hit me up if you think you may have something available and we could be a fit! Leah :)
I am a socially outgoing 23 year old with a rental history for 2.5 years in Melbourne. I tend to make conversations easier but also respect personal space. I am employed at Coles and also work as a teaching assistant.
A bit about myself, I'm a quiet, neat and tidy person and very organized with balanced habits. I like to socialize and ill be spending most of time at college or at work or exploring Melbourne. I have been in Melbourne for over 2.5yrs now, currently studying my Masters degree and I work in hospitality in the city. I Maintain a pretty active lifestyle involving a bit of socializing on the weekends and maybe heading out to the city as well and sometimes I like exploring Melbourne and surrounding areas. Pretty chilled out and fun loving person.
Canadian girl living in Australia for her second year on a WHV. Big fan of the US version of the Office, eggs benny and spotting cute dogs in public. Cringy sense of humour, take too long to get ready, bad habit of turning a quick answer into a long story, but also a strong believer that honesty is the best policy. I'm currently working full time in Canterbury and am hoping to find somewhere within a 30 minute commute to the Canterbury train station. I'm looking for somewhere clean and within my budget and do appreciate some alone time, but also enjoy being social and would like a place that feels more less like a rented bed and more like a home :)
I'm originally from the Gold Coast and lived in Melbourne since March this year. I moved here to study Dermal Sciences at Vic Uni. I work for laser clinics in the city so working days I'm out of the house from 8.30 till about 8. I'm really laid back and like to chill out majority of the time but do enjoy a drink or few every now and then. Love a good netflix binge and snacks, usually go for walks in the afternoons and getting out and about. Always respectful of others personal space and privacy, as well as enjoying my own time. Been living in the Hawthorn area so would love to stay around here. i'm also open to starting a new place as well :)
Hi future flatmate, I'm Rocky, another awesome Kiwi who has moved to Melbourne to work in the insurance industry. I'm a respectful flatmate and believe in creating a harmonious environment for everyone in the home. I am respectful of shared spaces but enjoy socialising and getting to know my flatmates and won't be shut up in my room when I'm home. When being social, I love to sit in the garden or living room, swap some stories, laugh, and share a bottle of wine with some delicious cheese. Board games are another great choice! Most evenings I will be busy with something, gym, yoga, pottery or cooking classes, dinner with friends, or errands and on weekends, I spend exploring, art galleries, shops, travel, and markets. What can I bring? Excellent cooking skills, happy to help out in flat duties, caring and open personality, mature attitude, and fun.
Hi, I am Madeleine and I am 31 years old (on the left). I am from Melbourne but have been working overseas for the past 7 years in Germany, NL and London. I work in Media and Comms and will be starting a new job in Melbourne in the next few weeks. I am looking for a place to call home in the city that I'm ultimately from...which means I have LOTS to rediscover!! I plan on doing that by trying most restaurants in Melbourne (big fan of Vietnamese and Italian) and exploring as much as i can. I am a considerate housemate and all my previous housemates can tell you I am normal and nice. I'm out of the house a lot because I'm either working or eating my way around the city and if I am home, I can either be social or keep to myself. I like to stay fit...either with the gym or some long distance running (have done a few marathons) but I also love to eat delicious foods and enjoy delicious wines so I'm not a super crazy health nut --.everything in moderation :-) I would love to live with someone similar who has their own busy life going on but who would also like to have a chat when it works and the occasional dinner or drink together.
I like to think i bring positive vibes to the house. Like to hang with who i am living with, but also respect each others space when needed. I am easy going, clean and like to keep busy and active. In to my fitness, sports, current entertainment in town and a good netflix session. If you think i would be a good fit for the house, i'd love to catch up and meet in person. regards, Russell
Me and my boyfriend have just relocated to Melbourne from London and are looking for a sociable and fun house share. We would like to live fairly centrally to make the most of the city but aren’t too fussy. I’d say we are both outgoing people who love a drink, playing sports and travelling - but love a night in watching tv and enjoying a takeaway just as much!
I'm a primary school teacher. I enjoy being active, running, yoga, crossfit, and playing rec sports (although I would rate my coordination as entertaining). Sarcastic sense of humour- In my down time I love watching The Office, B99, Friends etc. I love cooking! Especially trying new foods and being creative. Just don't ask me to bake you cookies because I will burn them. every. dang. time. I'm 28 and boast 9 years of living with flatmates (who would tell you that they would live with me again in a heartbeat). That's pretty much me! During the week I like a glass of wine but keep it pretty low key. I like being out on the weekends. Cheers peeps. *Super keen on finding a place in Richmond that is close to Tram 75 or Tram 70 !
Hey! My name is Daniel, I am a 25-year-old product designer from Spain. who likes practice sports, prepare delicious meals (spanish food, as tortilla, calamari, paella or Sangria), dance and tidy. I’m into photography, gym, dance, hiking, and exploring new places. Chocolate lover. I’m social and friendly, but respects privacy when needed. I’m also clean and tidy around the house. I’m gay, so the house would have to be LGBT friendly. Looking for housemates that I can be friends with rather than people I live with. I have been in Melbourne for 9 months and I am happy to extend my visa next year, so I just want to find a house where we can make our home. Don't hesitate and message me!
Hey! Im a 24 year old, full time working lad from Scotland living in Melbourne for a second year. Looking for a place to stay for at least 6 months while I’m here. Easy going, clean and respectful of privacy. Also know the ins and outs of flat sharing. Talk soon! Jack
I am very respectful, clean and also very friendly. I can be a friend when ever you need me to. I can also cook very well and share a beer every now and then. I play tennis and go to the gym. I care about people and things, i respect spaces and i hope the same back
I will be joining Swinburne University from this November as a Ph.D. Student in Astrophysics. I am from India. I will be studying(working) full-time for my research at the university. I am usually a quiet person who understands the importance of personal space. You will mostly find me reading, and enjoying nature. I love walking and staying active and don't smoke/drugs. I would love to interact and learn from people of different cultures. It will be my first travel to a foreign land, I would love to travel and explore as much as I can.
Hiya! I'm a young relaxed professional working full time. I am easy-going and flexible and clean. I respect the house rules. I'm also fun to hang out with:-) I am addicted to salsa and latin music, I can show you some salsa moves;) Just moved to Melbourne and looking for a private room in a share house, prefferably in the close vicinity of the city centre. Let me know is you have any space in your cosy house:) hugs Marta
I work at Crown (hospo shift work) & will be studying Fashion Design & Merchandising next year in Fitzroy, so looking somewhere close to both work & school around later October - early November 2018 I’m friendly, clean, respectful, non-judgemental and love people. I’ve been living in a sharehouse with 2 other girls (20&21yrs) since February and have become incredibly close with them. I’m reliable with paying my own way & always happy to share chores. Most of my close friends are in their early 20s, so I guess that’s the kind of age group I’d prefer to share with, but obviously happy to get to know anyone :) x In my spare time I’m out clubbing, finding hidden bars, going to art galleries or fashion shows, or at the gym trying to get fit. When I come home I like to relax and am always chatty if others are, otherwise I’m happy doing my own thing Flexible with moving dates, happy to have just one flatmate or several, but not looking for shared rooms
*** Recently found a place *** Hi I’m Courtney, I’m 25 years old and work as a nurse. :) I’m currently a Photography student and due to finish November 2018. I’m extremely clean and organised. I’m very quiet to live with and respectful. I have a 2 year old cavoodle called Chloe. She is a little angel, she doesn’t shed hair or smell. She’s an inside dog and toilet trained. Chloe is great with anyone who has allergies as she won’t cause any irritation to you. She is extremely affectionate and is an all rounder dog. Chloe loves to meet new people/animals and is always up for cuddles. Would love to hear from you and see if I could be your potential new housemate. Court :)
Look no further, you've found the ideal room mate. A workaholic who runs a business in southbank, into fitness, doesn't drink, doesn't smoke, easy going, clean and courteous. That's right! How can this be? Well, I've recently separated from my wife and currently looking for a place to live while continuing to support her and our 3 kids until she gets her feet on the ground. I'm looking for a place that's clean, a roommate (or roommates) that are easy going, and off-street parking. I'm going to be totally up front, this is a short term 3 month arrangement. Just enough time for me to make this transition in my life, meet new friends and find myself again. Although I have children they won't be visiting or coming around. I will be limiting their exposure to this process and visiting them at home or taking them out. Furnished or unfurnished doesn't bother me. I can bring furniture from my home. Happy to contribute where I can.
I tow the perfect line somewhere between anti-social and extrovert. I love trying new things and meeting new people! I’m tidy and hardworking plus very laid back!
