I’m an outgoing but laid back person who works a hell of a lot of hours but when I’m home I love to kick back, relax, cook some food and binge watch tv. I like my own space but also love the company of housemates over a shared meal and a couple of drinks. I’m definitely a clean housemate to live with, which is a bonus. I’m always keen for spontaneous trips so I’ll be down to just drop everything and go for a weekend away with my housemates
Friendly, personable, respectful and considerate. Easy going. A Great cook. Social and approachable but also appreciates the importance of personal space and down time. Active, motivated, interested in trying new things. Interests include cooking, visiting galleries, theatre, cafes and restaurants, exercising including swimming and judo, going to the movies and chilling out with friends. Appreciates the importance of keeping the place clean and tidy. Working permanent full-time in finance/commercial. Born and grew up in Sydney.
I am finishing my PhD in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Melbourne and am looking for to share a friendly and quiet environment with, preferably, like-minded people who are either professionally employed or are full-time students. Given that I have recently sold my car, I'm looking in areas around the uni, as close as possible. I normally never have guests, am fairly quiet, mostly working on my computer (writing, of course), and spend most of my daily time at uni, either working on my thesis or teaching. What I normally do in my spare time is going to the gym and watching movies (an old hobby) mostly on my computer, so all I'll be dependent on is a reliable Internet connection :) I don't smoke and don't have any pets.
We are 3 dentists (2 girls, 1 guy) from Ireland and are moving to Melbourne in October for at least 2 years. We are sociable, easy going, fun loving, interesting people and we are all easy to live with. We get up early, work hard but also like going places, doing cultural things. We are active people and like gymming, CrossFit, running, footy, yoga, surfing, snowboarding/skiing. We also like to eat healthily and love coffee! We do have many other interests also, watching films, reading and we have travelled all around the world making friends with people from all backgrounds. That said, we do like to enjoy our time off i.e a few drinks at the weekend or when we have time off with those we live with and hopefully make long-term friends. We are considerate of other people and are 'leave no trace' sort of housemates. We are a couple and a friend all coming to Melbourne to experience a new city and meet some new people!
Hi there potential new housemates :) I am super chilled and laid back, generally keep to myself and will respect your space. I'm so quiet you might not even notice that I am around. I like to keep tidy and more than happy to help around the house and I love to cook too and share my food! If I am not working or socialising, I like to go away on adventures such as camping/hiking/beach. Pls message me and I look forward to meeting you!
Hi! Im Esther I’m from New Zealand and have been in melbourne 3 years I've lived with friends during my time here. I’m environmentally conscious, love socialising, cooking and im a huge fine wine fan. My situation...I’m currently working in hospo so I work most weekends and I study at the Melbourne Fashion Institute 2 days a week therefore I’m looking for a larger room to rent so I can have some creative space with fun and friendly people who love food and enjoying the wonders of Melbourne.
I am currently working in aviation in customer service at Perth Airport, and moving over to Melbourne to be a long haul International flight attendant. (my training commences in late July ✈️👍🏼) A bit about me... I have been in aviation for 3 years. I love to socialise, love making new friends, and love to explore!). I am a french girl looking for a flat share to live with nice flatmates. I enjoy spending with friends, go out, and i also like animals and cooking. I am here for one year to study and discover Melbourne's vibes :)
Hi there! My name is Alyssa. I'm 29 and work full time as a speech pathologist. I am currently overseas but will be new to Melbourne come 28 July! I am from the U.S and grew up in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle, Washington (so spent much of my childhood camping, hiking, and exploring the great outdoors!). I am looking for a bright, clean, and inviting space to call home. Outside of work I like to stay active with yoga, walking (or anything outdoors really) and/or going to the gym. As a housemate, I am friendly, clean, responsible, and respectful of other people's space and privacy. I am social and enjoy hanging out with my housemates (always up for the occasional chat, going out to eat/to the pub, drinking wine on the couch, Netflix binges, etc.), but also value my alone time. Hoping to find a housemate(s) with similar interests. If you feel we would be a good fit, let me know!
I am from Burma and worked as an ICT engineer in Singapore for about 10 years. I am moving to Melbourne on 03 September 2018. I am friendly and easy going. I would like to keep my pet in my room. 😊
Hey there, I’m Christina. I’m a lawyer by profession currently pursuing an MBA. Looking for a place to stay during my MBA semester exchange at Melbourne Uni. I’m easy going and low maintenance so I’m quite comfortable with respecting your space. Although my stay in Melbourne will be short, I am looking forward to going out, meeting new people, eating good food and getting to know the city! Looking forward to hearing from you guys!
I am a young professional from Dallas, Texas and will be working with a medical device company based in Melbourne for 6 months starting end of Sept/early Oct then potentially staying for school with a longer visa! I need somewhere cool to live for 6 months while I am working. I am very social, and I love getting out and exploring. I will probably be traveling most of the weekdays, but I will be around on weekends and ready to have fun!
Hey mates Marion's here! Frenchy working full time as a barista in Fitzroy (yaaay free coffee) and obviously looking for a room. I've got a Working Holiday Visa and I arrived in Melbourne in February after a trip in New Caledonia, and Amsterdam just before where I stayed a year. I travelled the East cost already until Cairns and I just think Melbourne is the best. I like it there and I’m done staying at the hostel. Love the vibes but I would love some privacy and comfort. I hope I'll finally be able to settle for my last months in a home sweet home, with friendly roomies! Clean and tidy yes, I will also like tospend time with you guys after a day of work, chilling, chatting and having fun with some wine, games, movies or crazy nights out! But I still like having some time for myself in a cosy and comfy bedroom. I'm up for viewing and meeting at every moment, can't wait to meet you :)
Hi everyone! My name is Natasha and I moved to Melbourne in January to finish my BA in Film and Media. I just graduated and now I'm working with several arts and entertainment festivals in town. I fell in love with Melbourne and Australians and I'd love to stay! I am highly social and would love to be friends with my flatmates, but I deeply understand and respect the need for alone time. I am neat and orderly and have lived in several flat mate situations. I am into films, music, fashion, and generally anything in the arts. I'd love to hear from you and continue exploring Melbs.
Im relocating from Adelaide to work for a city based company as a cost consultant. Down to earth, tidy and respectful. I am 22 years old and moving to Melbourne from Perth to study law at Monash. I am a fairly quiet person and will be studying a lot, though I am very friendly and don't mind a chat. I'm very neat, respectful and easygoing. Ideally looking for somewhere with easy public transport into the CBD where I'll be studying.
Hi, I'm Jake. I'm 23, I moved to Melbourne from South Australia at the start of this year, and am now working full time in the city. I plan to stay in Melbourne for a while, and am therefore looking for a place to stay for a while, at least a year, probably more. My friend is 20, she is a full time student at RMIT from Indonesia. We are looking for a 3 bedroom apartment to share with one other, spending up to $800 a week split 3 ways. We have been looking for places in or close to the city, and hope to move before the end of July. We have found a couple of nicer places we are prepared to apply for. If anyone would like to work something out or ask more about me, feel free to message me here or my number.

Studying online at the moment. Don’t mind what age groups are in the house! Looking to move ASAP . UPDATE - I do not want a shared room with anyone. So please don’t contact me about a shared room. Thank you in advance x
I work full-time in a consultant company in city while doing my master degree as well. At the same time, I am a yoga teacher. I live overseas for a few years, now wanna settle down in Melbourne. Usually, after work, get back home rest, cook, chat a bit with housemates, gym ( sometimes early morning ), watch TV, have a slow drink, non-smoker, very cleansing, picky about house cleaning, can share house cleaning stuff. I am easy going, easy to chat, also respect privacy. During the weekends, always gym, cook, catch up with friends, hiking. Sometimes back home just wanna unwind, rest up. Looking for an apartment with gym close by or in the building, individual bathroom, close to train and tram in Carlton, Hawthorn, Glenferrie, or Richmond area, Could move in around beginning of August. Prefer to stay not less than 6 months.
Hi, there. I am Hiromi from Japan, in Vocational School and having 2 part-time jobs. I am hardly at home all day but I would like to stay in my room quietly when I have a time. However, I am happy to occasional chat or party if it happens in a house. I love keeping my room and house clean but not super obsessed cleaning. I am looking for somewhere easy to access Richmond and Brunswick, prefer a private room with furnished and an own bathroom is the best but sharing a bathroom with maximum 3 people include me is also good. I will be here in Melbourne for 11 months, moving in date is flexible between 21st July and 4th August. I smoke but of course not in the room. I am happy if there is a balcony or a door that I could get out without bothering other people. For the last thing, I am afraid of animals, so no pet place. Thank you Hiromi
