Hi I'm Soma, I work part time and am a sports trainer on the weekends. I enjoy all the usual things like hanging out with friends, having a few drinks during the week and exercising. I'm an active, outgoing person who has had sharehouse experience. I am looking to start my own sharehouse northside or move into an existing sharehouse. My values include honesty, respect, mature open dialogue and freedom to be oneself. I'm a fairly chill person and won't invade your space or me time, but I'm also down for being social and having a drink with my housemates.
Hi, my name is Claire, and I am a 24 yo female working in the NGO sector. I am a very social person and love to make my house a home. I respect my housemate's privacy, but also love to come together over wine and cheese on occasions! I am also quite neat and tidy, and take pride in the home i am living in. I enjoy sport ( i play hockey, and love to hike, swim, and partake in anything outdoors!) On the weekends I also love live music, a few glasses of wine with friends, and dining out! Originally from the South Coast of NSW, I have been living in Sydney for the last 7 years, but I am about to make the move to Melbourne, as I have received a job offer in Melbs! My job would be starting 11th September, so I would be hoping to move in early September sometime, but quite flexible!
Hey there. I'm looking for a room to move in now. I'm an international student from Thailand. I study to be a chef at William Angliss in the city. I'm quite clean and tidy. I cook quite often and enjoy sharing my meals. Have a look on my profile more about myself. Please consider and let me know if i can go inspect the place and then we can have more talk.
Looking for a new place to stay starting around mid-august. About me: French Canadian law student from McGill Uni. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counsellor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. I have already settled into a social life here, so you don't have to take care of me, while I'm obviously interested in the house life! Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up!
Hello there people of Melbournia, I am on the lookout for a South Yarra (or as close as) spacious room with some lovely people to share a home with. Move in by early August! I'm the kind of housemate who's guilty pleasure is trashy T.V, will keep the fridge stocked with hummus and can make a mean avocado on toast. I am a young full time professional, working as a Marketing Assistant as well as running my own business; Board Art Melbourne. I'm hoping someone will read this and think "what a coincidence I have a room AND it's in South Yarra (or as close as) I'm going to message Claire because she sounds awesome." MESSAGE ME :D
I will be landing in Melbourne on August 22nd and looking for bar work. I'm easy to get along with and respect the privacy of others. Not looking for anything fancy, as long as it has a roof and a toilet. I will be arriving with only a suitcase & laptop so I will not take up much space.
Hey! I will be moving from Toronto, Canada in September to Melbourne. I am looking for a place to stay! I will be working full-time in the CBD. I am looking for a place which will be within 20 minute walking distance. I like to have pretty chill week but don't mind having a few drinks and going out on weekends. I'm hoping to pay around 230 PW bills included but that is not a strict budget. I have a 6 month contract so hoping to get a place for that long or even longer! Let me know if you gave anything available, looking forward to hearing from you! Kelly
My sister and I are both students receiving regular payments from Centrelink. Im currently in the middle of moving to Melbourne for study & work opportunities as a model. I am available to move in asap with my older sister. We are both quiet natured, clean and easy to live with!
Hi, I have found so many great flatmates on here and this time I'm the one looking. I have just moved back to Melbourne and I'm hoping to find a cool household of peeps that I can connect with. I've lived in share houses before and understand what needs to go down to create a good vibe and it's different with every house but often carries the same theme. I'm a Web Designer / Digital Strategist, I work for myself and travel around a bit. I play Basketball a couple of times a week, check out live music when I get the chance and go to Festival through the year too as it's a nice way to unwind. I'm from the Blue Mountains in NSW and I love the vibe in Melbourne as people down here seem really comfortable with themselves and I'm looking forward seeing who's out there. I hope I'm the right match for what you're looking for.
I am really easy going, super tidy and I am looking for somewhere I can call home rather than somewhere I'm renting. I love to meet new people and I am very approachable. I have an active healthy lifestyle and try and eat well ...... just dont put biscuits near me or thats it! Im the type of girl who'l put the kettle on when your having a bad day and listen to it all :) I like all kinds of music ...just not that heavy metal ish... and love a good car karaoke (think more smelly cat than mariah carey). I love exploring new places and enjoy a good road trip, I am looking at living with single gals ideally :) I will be looking to move to Melbs 4th august onwards from Brisbane, I have a full time job in the city as a consultant :) Please note- Only interested in living with females Not interested in sharing with a couple Not interested in sharing a room Not interested in student housing Thank you :)
My name is Natalia and I am a Child Psychologist, on a working holiday from Chile, with a friendly and positive disposition. I am currently working as a full time Nanny. I have a passion for keeping myself healthy, doing yoga, dancing, exploring new things, drinking wine, and most importantly keeping great company!
Stef and I are a clean, quiet and respectful couple who have stayed in sharehouses and apartments before. We have just moved here from Newcastle and are both full-time students, who work as well. We enjoy a coffee or five and brunch at cute cafes :)
Hey, i am Marie, i am looking for a nice cosy home. I am a pretty laidback and considerate housemate. I enjoy the simplicity of life, good company, yummy home-made food and inspiring conversations. I like to share good times with my housemates, and also like my 'me' time I love yoga, philosocphy and everything related to well-being in general. I enjoy cooking and sharing meals, travelling, music concerts and playing games. I am a non smoker. Always up for a good chat over a drink or a nice meal. I work as a French teacher full time and study massage therapy on the side. Really look forward to finding a space that feels like "home" ...
I'm friendly and socialable. Happy to lend a listening ear in the evening and to take part in house activities, but also keep myself very active so won't be lounging around the house every evening. I'm clean and tidy (but not to an obscene level) and am happy to share chores. I love travelling, comedy, podcasts and sport. I've lived in New York and Ireland and am enjoying getting to know Melbourne. After a lot of time in hostels I'm looking for somewhere to call home for a while!
We are a laid back couple originally from the UK who have been travelling around all of Asia for the past 3/4 months and are hoping to stay in the Melbourne area for 6-9 months to increase our travel funds with our working holiday visa! I was working as a bartender for over a year to start my travel funds. However, I predominantly have a background in Psychology and have recently just got back from working in Sri Lanka for three months running therapy sessions in local psychiatric hospitals, while my boyfriend was a manager of a local bar/pub. We enjoy cooking (we are big foodies!), having a casual drink, scuba diving and travelling (obviously!). We are a clean, friendly and sociable couple but are not party animals by any means and still enjoy our quiet time. We are open minded people who love to learn about new cultures and enjoy making friends from all over the world.
While looking for work and waiting to study Vet nursing I mostly spend my time volunteering at various animal organisations to further my knowledge. I guess I am a down to earth, open, honest person. I love to laugh, smile, read and sketch.. Im a bit of a geek when it comes to games, although I don't play as much anymore. Creating things is my hobby, whether its a planting something just to watch it grow or a painting some furniture, small or big I am always actively doing something. Im a bit of a klutz and air head at times *forgetful* but very adaptable. I love to see others happy and believe honesty is the best way when living with anyone. I like constructive criticism, to discuss, Im always looking to better myself. I love to get to know any person.. but I would like to live with people that I can maybe collaborate with. Oh, I have a heap of furniture that is in storage. This huge double door fridge, a 1 door fridge probably suited for outdoors, an 8 seater beautiful oak table, bookshelves, a washing machine and a few other cute bits and bobs. It would be great to get them out but if they aren't needed its no biggie. As I mentioned, I love to get to know people but I also love it when people take the time to know me. Please feel free to send me a message with any questions :)
Hello flatmates! My name is Ed and I am a Londoner soon making a move to Melbourne for a working holiday. I am web developer by trade and maintain an interest in technology in general. I also enjoy gaming, socialising and outdoor activities. I am a clean and considerate individual who respects my surroundings.
Hi! We're a couple who are new to Melbourne. We're hoping to find a room to share for 2-3 months while we get settled. I'm studying winemaking while also working in wine retail. Oliver is studying software engineering and is a bartender at a music venue. We've both lived in share houses for 9-10 years so we're very well house-trained. We're clean, tidy and never have any trouble paying bills on time. We're equally happy to hang out with housemates or do our own thing. We're not party animals - we're much more into enjoying good food and wine than getting rowdy. I have a lot of diverse interests - cooking, sport (especially cricket), cinema (especially foreign and independent films), music, camping and hiking, history, learning new languages, etc. I'm a bit of a trivia buff and will never say no to a pub trivia night. I'm also very open to meeting new people and trying new things. Oliver's into sports (particularly cricket and AFL), fitness, music, web dev and puppies.
Looking for potential housemates to team up with to create a new home! Or to move into an established home! My current lease is up on Nov 20 2017, so ideally would like to have somewhere leased 3 or so weeks before then! I'm working full time in Fashion, I am super duper clean, and a total introvert! Prefer apartments, based on being more secure. Currently living in a 2 bed/2 bath apartment in South Bank, with a close friend, he is moving away which is why I'm looking for a new place, my current apartment is super pricey, so hoping this move can help me save some money/downsize. My priorities for a new home: 1. Proximity to public transport (ideally a train line) 2. Proximity to a major super market (Woolies/Coles) or if super close to a train line, knowing that I could simply catch the train to a supermarket. I have a lot of new (1-2 years old) items to contribute to common areas including - a 7kg bosche washing machine, 4 seater glass dining table with 4 black leather chairs, 2 black leather bench stools, all kitchen items except a fridge, 2 seater black leather couch, small coffee table, decorative items etc. However, if these items are not required EG couch, I can send some of these items back to my mums house. My personal interior style is very feminine and modern, with a decorative colour palette of hot pink, light pink, mint, grey, white. So hopefully you'd be cool with that in the common areas.
I'm Ryan, 25, full time electrical engineer working with robotics startup. I like music, going to gigs/festivals, having beers and hanging out, looking to move into a fun sharehouse where everyone gets along. Looking to move immediately for the right room! Some things that are on my wishlist but aren't deal breakers: -NBN or fast internet -Garage/Shed for tinkering Some things that are important to me: -Unfurnished room - I have my own stuff -Parking (permit/off street or quiet street)
Hi guys, Omni here! I'm a rather obsessive love of the colour green, I also like traveling, good coffee/tea, crafts, theater, music, cooking, plants, candles, computer games! *Neat & tidy *Social but respects privacy *Not a party animal but can appreciate a shared meal or a couple of drinks. *I identify as an androgyne, pansexual and polyamorous. I'm currently living in regional NSW but hoping to make the move back to Melbourne (where I've lived a few years previously). I'm a palliative nurse by trade and currently looking for work, although I'm hoping to find something a bit more chill (call centre, desk job ect) after spending the last 5 and a bit years as a live in nurse for a family member. (Hoping to find a place that's no more than $250 a week inclusive of bills or there abouts and a place to park my car (Bertie)!)
