I am a 30 years old Egyptian girl working as an Architect/Interior Designer, new to Melbourne. I will be looking for a full time job as soon as i arrive. I recently got the Australian permanent resident visa through the skilled workers immigration program. Most probably, I will not be spending too much time at home during the first few months as I would like to explore the city and hopefully will be going to interviews till I find the job for me. I would also be interested in volunteering at community events. In general, I'm a calm person yet i'm always up for new adventures and like to explore new things. I always have a story to tell whether it will be about my life back home, adventures i have been to or about my new life in Australia :) I love sports especially skating, running and squash. I like to keep fit and eat healthy as much as possible. I usually crave going to the beach, not sure if it's something related to my cancer horoscope XD
Hi potential housemates! My name is Elle and I am a neat, friendly, responsible 24 year old female. I'm currently completing my final year of medical school and will be working full time as a junior doctor from January next year. I am looking to move out any time prior to January next year - for the perfect place and housemates I would move in more or less right away to secure the spot! I work hard but still enjoy a friendly chat over a glass of wine, and some netflix downtime! I am highly considerate of others - able to provide references from prior housemates if required! Look forward to hearing from you :)
I am a graduate live sound engineer/ part time chef with a one way ticket to Melbourne in the hope of working in either or both of these fields, exploring Australia, meeting lots of people, and generally having a good time. I am a massive foodie and love to cook creatively when I have the time, especially for others! Having graduated uni as a sound engineer I am also very into my music, especially live! I played in a band for 3 years at uni and also worked as a live sound engineer for 2 of those, in London, Birmingham and working at Glastonbury and Boomtown festivals. Im very easy going but also tidy and organised (mostly as a result of working in kitchens!), always up for a laugh and very excited to see what Melbourne is all about!
Hi, my name is Rhi. My cat Vinny and I need to be out of our current house in September due to our existing housemates all growing up and pairing off so we’re looking for some new ones! I am 28, employed full-time, and have been living in share houses since I was 18 so I know the drill. Things get paid on time, communal areas get kept tidy, and my work schedule means I’ve never clashed with anyone for the bathroom. I’m a bit creative (I draw and paint and collect dumb eclectic things) so hopefully my housemates won’t mind the decorative mishmash of things I intend to hang on our walls! I have got a house worth of furniture (sofas, wall units, large TV, fridge, washing machine, etc.) which I can either sell or bring with me. I like my homes to be chill places where people are comfortable to be themselves. Whilst not expressly looking for a party house I believe that friends and lovers should always be welcome. I am invaluable at pub trivia nights. I am rainbow friendly and bigot unfriendly. An older character place full of music, blankets, fairy lights, plants, books and snacks and with at least a small yard is my dream. I’m open to starting up a new home as well as to joining a welcoming existing one. Vinny is a small ginger rescue boy with the sweetest face who is super skilled at sitting juuust out of reach and stealing food literally from your mouth. He is stupidly obsessed with a big plush Rastafarian banana that I have. He is plucky and I have seen him interact well with other animals. Looking forward to talking to you soon!
Hello there! I am Chaira, 24 years old and I'm currently living the good life in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In November I will start my fulltime masters research internship at Orygen (located at Parkville) for 8 months. Therefore, I'm looking for a nice and chill place to live per October with some nice roommates. Preferably the place includes a shared livingroom and it shouldn't be too far away from the Orygen institute. About me: I'm an easy- going, very social, cozy and friendly roommate. I love meeting new people and making new memories! Further, I like to go swimming and dancing, I really like to cook, I love having coffees and drinks in the city and I like to go out from time to time. Please contact me if you have something nice for me!:)
Clean. Reliable. social but also like my me time. I am a smoker (outside only)!so please dont message me if your house in non smoking. I also am only looking for a room with own bathroom. Or granny flat bungalow type thing please
I’m a very tidy respectful person. Hard working and quiet. I have a dog called Jaspa and will need an enclosed yard space for him to stay while I’m at work :)
Hiya. I’ll be fresh to Melbourne when I move. Currently traveling overseas but previously worked as a research consultant in product development and will be looking to do the same thing in Melbourne as well. I’m really friendly and easy-going, neat and tidy. I respect your space so while I’m up for a chat I also like to chill out alone in my down time. I enjoy yoga, pairing and going to the beach 😊
Greetings all! 2 possums recently decided to break into my room via my window and stare at me as I slept. I took that as a sign it was time for a new place. I'm Dee, 32, looking for a place to hang my hat, set my WiFi password and call home. Contractor in film and other mundane activities to earn my bread and butter. Mon-Fri: After work I'm fairly quiet as I'll either be at(tempting to go to) the gym, out with friends or catching up on TV shows (putting the kgs I burned off at the gym back on). Weekends: Usually out and about. I'm extremely easy going and enjoy a good belly laugh. I'm tidy, considerate, generous and respectful. Not a good cook (sorry guys) so you'll see me in the kitchen as often as the Loch Ness monster. Lived in share houses for many years and still very close friends with those I've lived with so I guess that makes me bearable. I'm looking to live with amazing people I can consider friends, who enjoy some banter, a few laughs, partaking in drinks or dinner but can also understand my need for alone time. Just as much as I respect my housemates I'd like to find peeps that are considerate, fun loving and also easy going. Bonus points if you love your movies and binging on Game of Thrones and have a crazy eclectic taste in music! So, if your home sounds like it could benefit from some easygoing vibes, lots of laughter and the threat of possums is not on the cards then please get in touch! PS. Flexible on dates. Preference towards a larger bedroom (bonus points with ensuite) and in a house or townhouse. No small apartments for me, unfortunately!
Hi! I would like to join a sharehouse with people/person of my age, so that I could hangout, go out for drinks and have social life, occasionally shared meals, etc.. :) However, I would not be a crazy person (since I enjoy quiet times as well) and I would respect the privacy/space of the other(s). I am clean, tidy, easy going, like to chat, to exercise, listening to music and podcasts among others. I do own a motorbike, which I ride when I need to get somewhere fast. ;) I do have a few requests: I need some storage place, for a couple of boxes and few bits and pieces; Garage/shed for my motorbike; Garage/shed for my push bike; I am not sure what to say more, but feel free to ask. :)
My current lease is up in my one bedroom, wanting to have housemates again. I'm looking for a place closer to work so ideally Richmond, Toorak, South Yarra area. I'm pretty easy going, clean, social, quiet (I don't stomp around and bang dishes) I drink wine and tell terrible jokes :)
I’m a cruisy chick that is originally from New Zealand but I have lived in the Gold Coast for 2 years before recently relocating to Melbourne. I love my art, fashion, coffee, music and mad banter. I’m full of energy and love meeting new people although I do sometimes appreciate my own space and alone time. I take things pretty easy during the week but I like to party on the weekends. I also love my music festivals and will normally go to one every couple of months. I have been modelling for 8 years and regularly attend photo shoots. I’m respectful and considerate of others and like to keep a tidy and clean house. I work Monday-Friday but love to drink during the weekends and head out for a boogie
Hey, I'm Michael, I'm 26 and work as a full-time filmmaker for a production company in Collingwood. I generally work normal hours but have the occasional job on weekends. I'm a very easy going, no drama kind of guy. I enjoy socialising, sports (watching and playing), film, photography, trivia and games and am 420 friendly. My job keeps me active but I still try to hit the gym once or twice a week. Not a wizard in the kitchen, but I give it a go every now and then. Looking for a young share house with positive vibes, respectful housemates who enjoy a social gathering every now and then!
My name is Usman Ghani but you can also call me bunny. I am currently working at Travelex and also drive uber sometimes. I am completing my Bachelors of Business in Information Systems and finance and Entrepreneurship as minors. I just transferred from La Trobe University to RMIT city so I need to move closer to city and nove from Bundoora. I like traveling, self development, adventures, gym, healthy lifestyle, music and food. I like to have drinks or dinner with housemates once a while. Thumbs up if you also like traveling. I have a car so I need reliable parking arrangements where I move. I am often going to road trip on my car. You can tag along if you are a good dj.
Hey! I'm Anthony! I'm an easy going, respectful and friendly fella. I enjoy the outdoors, sharing a wine or two and having chats but I also enjoy my me time! After 10 years of sharing housing I understand how to treat others and respect each others space and ensure making the home a sanctuary and living in harmony. I am currently living solo and own everything you need to start a new home, including a heap of indoor plants that will come with it. I'm looking to find a place with someone likeminded, if this all sounds good - let's go find a sweet pad!
Hi. I'm Shahram 38 yo. I'm very easy going, clean and tidy. I'm after a place to call it home. I respect other ppl's privacy but also happy to share a meal and have some chats even outdoor activities if you like. I have a full time professional job and just finished my master degree. I have a car and a parking spot would be essential. I love cats and puppies but not indoor, so I can't join if you have indoor pets. Looking for a FURNISHED one with PRIVATE BATHROOM. Thanks.
Hey everyone, I'm a very open, friendly, helpful and positiv thinking person. Based on my cultural background, it is in my blood to be clean and tidy. I love to go out, be adventurous and explore the city, as well as to see as much of the world as possible :). One of my favorit things to do is sitting with good wine and food together and talk about people, the world and experiences. I have to admit, I do have a weakness for Netflix though :). Since last year August I'm studying Master of Marketing at the Swinburne University and therefore, I also need some time for myself to study and relax. I'm so looking forward to get to know Aussies, but also all kind of other cultures as well. Happy to find someone nice and friendly :)
I am not the best cook but I make up for it with my cleaning. Full time worker with normal hours who enjoys to keep fit, relax and treat to a fun night out every now and then. Very reliable and wanting to find a place to stay for a while as I have just moved to melbourne for work.
I'm a 28 year old phd student. I'm pretty quiet and like to keep to myself as I'm studying full time and do cash in hand work on the weekends. I spend a lot time in my room, however i don't mind being social. I rarely have people over. I'm tidy, not a party animal and can cook. My dog is an adorable english staffy who is well behaved and gets along with all animals and people.
Seasoned flatsharer that makes epic brownies and lemon drizzle cake, very tidy and sadly, actually enjoys cleaning - tidy house, tidy mind and all that jazz. I like songs with words, meat and veg, lifting heavy things in the gym, travelling, dogs over cats, bingeing on TV/Netflix as required and generally being chilled and happy. Looking to make new friends as I move to Melbourne to share home-cooked dinners, maybe a few cocktails, a home and some baked treats! I'm in Melbourne now so we can meet up to check our music and cake tastes don't clash too heavily! I work as an IT consultant and clients could be in the CBD or surrounding boroughs - this will keep me busy Monday to Friday with weekends to chill and play tourist.
Hi there, I’m Bec. I'm originally from Adelaide and I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Applied Business (Entertainment Management) at Collarts. I enjoy listening to music, watching Netflix, drinking chai and I think that ketchup should be kept in the fridge. I like to live in a clean and healthy space, I am generally a pretty private person and keep to myself but I love to meet new people and have a nice chat.
