Hello! I'm a 29 yr old female from Helsinki Finland. I arrived in Melbourne 3 months ago and am currently looking for a private room in a share house. I'm very tidy, easy to live with, independent and respectful of other peoples privacy, but always up for a glass of wine or cooking together :) I'm a non-smoker and I love the outdoors, travelling, exploring etc. Would love to find flatmates who share similar qualities / interests! Open to staying between 1-2 months. Feel free to contact me if you think it could be the right fit or you need more information :)
Hi, I am currently studying at Melbourne University full time, I'm working on my Bachelor of fine arts specialising in costume making for theatre. I love being creative and one of my main hobbies is sewing which is something that I need a space that can cater to (a bedroom that will allow me to set up a fold-down table to use with my sewing machine and overlocker). I'm easy going and get along with people quite well, I enjoy both hanging out and chilling in my own space. I'm a reader, I love watching movies. I'm very creative and I enjoy being clean and organised and am happy to share the load of the cleaning duties around the house. I don't take offence when people want to be left alone and I'm relatively understanding. I don't drive or smoke and neither am I a big drinker (though one or two is nice with friends). I'm already familiar with being in a sharehouse environment as I have spent the last year in one and am now looking for a place that is close to public transport and/or the Melbourne CBD for Uni. If this interests you let me know.
Hi, My name is Ram Babu and I'm 19yo. I'm originally from Darwin but currently in my second semester at RMIT. I'm a very friendly person that understands privacy and I love soccer and music. I'm just looking for a nice room to move into that's fairly close to the RMIT building in the city or fairly easy to get to from.
I'm a final year PhD student at Monash University. So I'm a pretty busy guy at the moment. I'm looking for a place to live closer to the city to stay while I complete my studies. Outside of uni I'm a very chill guy, I'm happy to keep to myself or hang out. I’m clean and respectful of others. Looking forward to meeting some new people. Thanks guys!
Hey future housemate! My partner and I just moved to Melbourne, so we’re looking for a new place to call home. We’re both neat, tidy and house trained. We love traveling and meeting new people. Looking to make some friends too, not just housemates. If you think we would become good housemates then chuck us a message. Looking forward to hearing from you, Antony & Martin.
Good Day! I'm Kevin and I come from Taiwan. just finished my master degree in Melbourne uni last December and currently, I’m a part-time food quality control officer in a sauerkraut factory. I love traveling, sport (tennis and AFL) and sharing my life with friends. I always keep my room tidy and respect others. I'm looking for a private room in a shared house with lovely people!!
Hey future housemate- I study psych, just graduated from the University of Melbourne and will be starting honours in march . I teach, perform and choreograph classical dance which keeps me pretty busy and happy aside from the storm that is uni! I believe I'm positive, and hard-working and like to be friends with people I live with. I'd love to get to know you, hang out but also need my privacy and space. For me, home should be a safe and grounding space one can return to- so that is the environment I'd hope to have. I'm very chill and non-judgemental as long as we can agree to keep the communal space clean. Music, treks, dancing, pizza, journalling, board games, wine, animals and travelling are all my favourite things. I like to head out to new bars on the weekends and love checking out all the culture that Melbourne has to offer. I don't want a loud party house but also like to have people over for dinner/ wine and enjoy new and good company. Basically I like to get my work done but also let loose and enjoy life! I'm pet friendly and will treat one with a lot of love and care. Message me if you're interested!
Hi all, My name is Barry and I'm 22 years old. I am a full time international student with a casual job. I lived in Singapore for 5 years and Malaysia for 12 years before moving here in Melbourne. I have been in Melbourne for 3 years and spent 2.5 years sharing an apartment with a New Zealand housemate who is a working professional. We got along well as we have mutual respect to each other, we both love to keep the apartment clean and tidy all the time and have similar lifestyle and passion toward watches. As he is moving into his newly bought home; I am now looking for a new place to call home. Prefer to share with someone who is clean, neat and tidy. Not a third wheeling person so I do prefer to share with the singles. Best regards, Barry

**I HAVE A DOG - PLEASE NO MESSAGES IF YOU WILL DECLINE DUE TO PETS** Hey future flatmates! My name is Kiera and I’ve been living in Melbourne for 2 years now. I work full time in business and finance and LOVE my job. It keeps me quite busy throughout the week so I’m often out early and back a little later in the evenings, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! In my spare time I’m often trying to get to the gym or taking my dog for a play date. As for weekends I generally out and about either watching or playing football, having drinks with friends or trying to get out of Melbourne for a weekend getaway! Ultimately looking for a place with a nice yard for my dog and I to call and for housemates that are respectful, reasonably clean and want to be mates..not just strangers living in the same home. If I sound like a good fit, please send me a message!
From Sweden, currently living in Copenhagen working in a PR & communication agency, and moving to Melbourn to take a PhD in Management at RMIT. I'm an outgoing, social and easy going person who has been living in shared apartments for years now and love having a great mix of company and socialising and having your own space. I'm hoping to find a place to share as a home, having dinners and some weekend drinks when that's the spirit. I like to stay active, working out and running, and love to get outdoors - mountain biking ( bringing my bike all the way with me so hoping to find some good tracks around Mel), sailing, diving, skiing and always up for an adventure. Of course, in between all of that I like to kick back and relax, preferably with someone who can through around some good banter, can force me to settle on a Netflix movie and teach me some aussie slang.
Hi guys! I'm a sociable guy just looking for a place in Melbourne for my last couple of weeks in the country before I shoot off for Asia. Clean, chatty, enjoys cooking, I'll pretty much be out and about with friends most of the time, but will happily hang out when I'm staying in. Cheers
Hi, I am Shantanu from India coming to Melbourne for my MS from Latrobe University. I am legit ok with every type of person no tantrums at all, just a little bit introward that too until I find like minded people. I love exploring and as I am visiting Australia for the first time, I'd be exploring Melbourne in my past time and would love to have someone's company.
Here's a 10 second summary: I grew up in Samarinda - Borneo, surrounded by beautiful Borneo's forest. I strive to be a polymath. (a.k.a. Renaissance Man) I have 2 degrees (Accounting and Computer Science). I work with computers, and enjoy traveling, hiking/camping, swimming (I'm a certified swimmer), mobile games and most anything creative, pretty good at baking but pretty bad at cooking 😂. I'm not especially religious, and generally open minded and "try anything once"/"Live and let live" kind of personality.
