Hello!! I am moving to Melbourne at the end of September and am looking for somewhere lovely to live!!! I will be working for an NGO in Brunswick... so somewhere nearby would be ideal! A bit more about me... I love all things colourful and creative... I would love to spend all my time in a creative pursuit but unfortunately need to work full time to support my many indulgences (shopping/ eating brunch/ travelling!!) I really enjoy outdoor adventures and exercise but at the same time love a glass of wine and going out and socialising. I also love travelling and go exploring whenever I have the chance....the more offbeat and exotic the place the better! I have been living in Canberra for the last 18 months- and have loved my share house here where we socialise together frequently but also give each other enough space and downtime. I would love to be part of a similar household in Melbourne! I look forward to hearing from you!! Thanks Jess
I'm chill, tidy and like to have a laugh and maybe wines on the weekend (not every weekend though - sometimes I just want Netflix and food). I like to get outdoors and explore; find new places and see new things. Not gonna lie, usually my room is covered with clothes, but when it comes to the communal areas - things always go back where they came from as soon as they're done with (or in the dishwasher/washed up if applicable). I take pride in my home and like to present it well. But yeah, my bedroom seems to get untidy about three minutes after I tidy it 🤦🏼♀️. I've just come back from backpacking around South America and have a load of job interviews lined up so should have a full time job very shortly.
We're a fun, friendly couple from the UK who are very open minded and easy to get on with. We like fitness, yoga and are both vegetarian and meat friendly. We're both very social (enjoy the odd drink on the weekend) but also respect other housemates privacy. We're on a 1 year working holiday and looking to be in Melbourne for at least 4-6 months but could be longer!
Hi there, I've just moved to Melbourne from London (originally from NZ) and am looking for a long term home. I'm clean, easy going and social. I work in marketing and in my downtime I'm into music, design and spending too much in cafes/bars/restaurants. Ideally I'd like to move into a social flat with people who are open minded and open to sharing the odd meal/drink/chat. If it's easier, please feel free to message me
* Mid October * Please don't contact for properties available now* Hi! We are a relaxed and sociable couple from the UK moving to Melbourne around the 16th October from Brisi where we have currently been working. Looking to stay until last week of Jan, due to visa ending and then we are off to Asia to travel before heading home. We are easy going, and in the week we work 9-5 in corporate jobs. We are both tidy and always clean up after ourselves. In the week nights we enjoy cooking together, both like to stay pretty active, and love a good netflix and chill. We are respectful of others work schedules and privacy. We love making the most of the weekends, exploring the city, going to festivals or summer events, walks in beautiful gardens and taking in all Aus has to offer! We are both very friendly and can get along with pretty much anyone. We love to have a good glass of rose, and are both major foodies! As a couple we love hanging out with groups of friends; and meeting new people on our travels If you have anything suitable please get in touch :) We are interested in a room in a shared house, a shared apartment or a lease transfer for our own place if within budget.
Hi! I come from Melbourne and I'm a uni student going into my final year. I play field hockey and I like reading, finding great new music, chilling out with friends and watching tv. I'd call myself an introvert but I also love to get out and about around Melbourne as well as popping out for a good boogie with friends on the weekends.
Hello, my name is Chloe! I am a 25 year old female working full time. I am a fun and friendly person and for the better part clean without being OCD. I am fairly active during the week with gym and like to be social on the weekend. Looking for a friendly house that enjoy spending the occasional bit of time together - breakfast on the weekend, that sort of thing.
We are two easygoing, creative community focused, animal lovers who have been known to dumpster dive. Dom loves to cook, Rachael loves to eat. We cycle long distances when we have free time, Dominic likes to build bikes for his friends and play Chess. We like playing Music - Dom classical guitar, Rach Piano. We are very social, but not party animals. Important stuff: We are non smokers, queer friendly, we eat mostly plants and hummus, don’t watch telly, both either working or studying full time. We are house trained! & We don’t smoke. naturally we are considerate of others
I am a mid 40s single professionally employed Female. I have just returned from working in Adelaide the past few years, back to the Melbourne Office on St Kilda Road. I am a non smoker, very tidy, friendly (but appreciate having my own space at times) and considerate flatmate. I am well traveled and adore the culture and vibe Melbourne has. I have no children or pets. I am looking for a furnished room, preferably with my own bathroom and a car park (can be on street, if not an impossible feat to find a park) if possible, for a temporary stay from approx 4 to 6 months. I am looking for a home, not just a house, so would love to live with someone who is fun, respectful and adores inner city Melbourne living!

Hello! My friend Manlly and I are interested in teaming up with someone to look for a bigger place around South Yarra, Richmond and Hawthorn, those two areas specifically because they're a good distance between Manlly's and my two work locations. I'm 25, originally from Geelong. I was living in Carlton for over a year but unfortunately my landlord sold the apartment :( I'm currently back in Geelong doing the daily commute! I work 6 days a week; in Ecommerce in South Yarra and also as an assistant for a creative label in Collingwood. In my spare time I catch up with friends, eat (I love food), like (try) to stay active and enjoy live music. I'm also a massive travel enthusiast and love going exploring and the beach! If I'm not being busy doing my own things, I'm always down for housemate hangs and make great netflix binge company! Manlly is also 25, from Geelong. She recently landed a new job as a fashion designer in Oakleigh. She is clean, a delight to make conversation and hang with and is so easy going! We're looking to live with someone who is friendly, easy going (like super chill no drama positive vibes all round), respectful, has a decent sense of humor and cleans up after themselves. I pride myself on keeping my living space clean and tidy, in saying that, I'm a clean freak especially when it means not having a sink full of dishes at the end of the night. We're not looking for a party house, however we may sometimes have friends over for bevs and a platter (I'm a platter queen). Although I love animals, I do get pet allergies :( If you have an outdoor dog then that would be workable. We are also looking for someone who is willing to be on the lease with us. Aside from that, the dishes and party house thing we are totally chill when it comes to anything else! I already have my own bedroom furniture. I also have a dining table and chairs, and kitchen appliances if needed! You would only really need your own bedroom furniture, no obligations to putting in for the rest of the house (less fuss in case of certain circumstances). If we seem to suit shoot me a message and tell me a bit about yourself :)
Hey everyone my name is Viktoras and i am 26Years old male. Recently the house i was renting got sold and now i have to find a new place to live in. Trying to find a private room around West of Melbourne something closer to Melbourne Airport cause of work as APO. Recently finished my studies and hopefully something where i could park my car as well I would prefer a place that decently quiet and so on as i do not party myself or cause any drama. I am very tidy and neat person that looks after the things regardless if their mine or not "treat it as your own". With a house or private rooms i don’t mind who owns or lives in a house Male or a Female i can guarantee that we will get along just fine as i am very social person and easy going. I do love working on computers on my free time and occasionally play a game or 2. Do contact me for more information.
Hi everyone! I'm Jas, a 25 year old straight male from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I am currently in my 3rd year of Engineering degree at RMIT. I'm looking for a place to stay with clean, fun and respectable housemates. In my free time, you can usually find me watching a TV series or two (Massive GoT fan here!) or reading a novel. I try to lead a healthy lifestyle so I drink moderately and don't smoke. I'm generally quite active and play soccer during the weekends. I am also extremely enthusiastic about winter sports (Snowboarding) and frequently do day trips to Mt Buller in the winter. I enjoy the occasional glass of wine, gin and tonic or whisky during the weekend and am quite sociable. I love meeting interesting new people. I have a huge passion for travel and exploration and try to visit a new country every year. I come from a multi-cultural country and am very open to people of different creeds and backgrounds. I am neat, tidy, and relatively organised. I'm also reasonably financially secure so I can pay bills on time. I think this makes me an ideal housemate at any rate! Hope to meet you soon. Cheers! Jas :)
We are great people. Both of us like to cook family meals, tidy up and get involved with our other housemates, socially speaking. Jess is a yoga teacher, socialite/networking genius and all round good vibe giver; I am a sailor, OCD fixer of broken things and like to bake brownies on a weekly basis. Need I say more? Ok, we`re both vegetarian (half vegan on my account) and eco conscious but very chill about it, both returning from winter travels and want to make/join a cool household for the summer. Willing housemates can expect to be overfed regularly, dragged to festivals, road trips, park days and maybe a boat or two. (Having reviewed this ad, I should include that we are singles looking for 2 rooms)
Hello there, my name is Ryan I am 25 year’s old and looking for a short term stay from the 10th of September roughly until the first week of November so about two months. I am originally from Western Australia and moved here early this January. I currently have a part-time job working in South Bank and working nights(8pm-4am) until the 14th of September and then I will be rostered on day shifts for the next two months (12pm-8pm). I am very low maintenance, easy going, chilled and always up for a cheeky laugh. I have spent the previous year travelling India, Nepal and parts of Europe. In December I plan to further my travels. I respect people’s space and will always clean up after myself! I am a vegetarian (doesnt bother me about what you eat) and practising tai chi at the moment in Brunswick which keeps me busy. I always try and get outside and I enjoy a good chat about life. Let me know if it seems like a good fit. Happy to pay bond and a couple of weeks rent in advance. Cheers Ryan
I'm super clean, can cook, respectful of people and their belongings, honest and open-minded. I enjoy staying home to watch movies/tv shows on netflix and I'm massive fan of studying so I'm indoors most nights unless I'm spending time with family and friends. Not a party or rowdy person - just looking for a nice place to live at until i find the perfect place for myself!
I have recently returned from 18 months travelling around North and South America and am settling down in Melbourne. I'm laid back, enjoy a few drinks and great food and am hoping to join a house with a fun homely vibe. I'm into climbing, yoga, good books, music and being outside. Professionally I work in consulting and am financially stable / reliable.
I'm a friendly and social Melbournian. Looking for short to medium term accommodation before moving overseas next year. Enjoy going out or sharing a bottle of wine with friends at home when the occasion calls for it. Very clean and tidy.
Hi all, I am a 30 year old hospitality manager, fully employed at a busy Richmond pub. I work a mixture of mornings, afternoons and nights, but am very respectful and quiet if I come home late from work. I haven't house shared in a while so looking a for a nice friendly crew to ease me back into it!!! I provide good hangs, and certainly enjoy a beer or two.. I also try and stay fairly fit and healthy, try and run a few times a week and eat kind of healthily where possible! Due to a relationship breakdown (we had a dog together), there is a chance my beautiful adopted Greyhound Sandy might come over for a sleepover one night a week. She is a Good Girl, completely housetrained and used to apartment living. However, if this is not okay with the house that it TOTALLY understandable, I can take her on daytime adventures on my days off then take her back to her dads. Thats about all really, any questions just get in touch :) Jess
Hi! I'm Terina and have a small 4 year old dog who I share with my ex. We currently live in an apartment so small spaces are fine. She only barks when she gets excited (playtime) and when someone knocks on the door, otherwise she is an awesome housemate. I work full time 8am-4:30pm Monday to Friday in Cremorne and looking for somewhere nearby. I'm down to earth, easy to get along with, very tidy and respectful of others things. I tend to stay in my room a lot but will chat and have a laugh. I'm not a party animal or smoker, but do go out with friends every now and then.
From Sydney, but aiming moving to Melbourne by the end of September. I love playing music, building my record collection and taking pride in a good outfit. I'm either super social or quietly reading a book in the garden so I fit any atmosphere really! I'm planning on studying next year at RMIT, currently just working this year :) I love the environment, I'm vegan and I love cooking, this doesn't mean I'm not open to living with anyone of any lifestyle but would be a bonus if you are the same! I really care about neatness, whenever I'm feeling stressed I'll clean my room up to the tiniest detail, it feels good to take pride in your living space. I'm 18, I'm super chill and down to earth, if you're looking for a happy, creative person I'm the one!
