Hey! I'm a 23 yo half-British half-Slovak traveller/ wannabe writer. I'm coming to Melbourne on a WH visa hoping not to end up unemployed or frying chicken wings. I'm looking for a private room in a central neighbourhood (I don't drive so public transport friendly!). I'm easy-going, fun and don't leave the dishes unwashed (if I ever cook). Ideal scenario: to be actual friends with the people I live & host dinner parties every now and then!
Hi, I am Clare, 35 from North East England in the UK and have recently emigrated after my permanent visa was granted..this is a very exciting time for me! I am a professional looking for accommodation, initially for a 6 month period whilst I acclimatise to my new home, however if I settled well then I may be looking for a longer stay. I need the accommodation from the 17th March 2018, as this is when my Air B and B expires. I am sensible and considerate and looking to get along with others whilst I make this transition. I am very much into sports, as a keen triathlete am often out training and typically fit this in before and/or after work. I own my own home in the UK, therefore appreciate the hard work that goes into owning and maintaining this, therefore I will be clean, tidy and respectful of your accommodation. Whilst I get myself set up with work, I am flexible in terms of inspections so I can accommodate your availability. I look forward to meeting you :)
Hi, I'm a self employed student looking for a housemate in Melbourne! I'm super friendly, but also private and respectful of personal space. I'm neat and tidy, and don't mind the occasional evening wine or cocktail. Looking for a room to stay in for 2-3 months minimum!
Polite, friendly, clean, respectful, non-smoker. Single male commencing a new job in Melbourne. Caucasian. Non-smoker. Open to all nationalities and cultural groups. No pets please. Would prefer own bathroom but not essential.
Hello! I am an 18 year old who has just moved from Brisbane to Melbourne. I'm a tidy, friendly person who is always down for a chat or a beer! I’ve been living in share houses for 2+ years and am super reliable. I’m working part time bartending here and am looking for some great people to share a home with. (420 friendly would be great but am happy to respect house rules about it)
Hey everyone! I’m a responsible, clean, friendly musical type looking for a new home! EITHER: - Sublet/short term/housesit for 2-3 months, $600/month or less - OR long term/permanent home for about 1yr+ $700/month or less (will consider more for the perfffeck place tho). Available to move in NOW. Read on for details! I'm a 28 year old friendly & housetrained musician, I have a steady income teaching voice, modelling, & working in events. Been renting for 11 years and never had trouble paying rent or bills. I'm super clean & tidy. I sing a lot but I'm apparently pretty good at it. (I don't mind if you sing badly though! No judgement!) I don't drink much but up for a wine now and then, I don't smoke (no indoor smoking houses please). Looking for somewhere preferably northside, no more than 20min drive to Brunswick, preferably more like 20min cycle or if not then close to trains :) I wanna live in a HOME, not just a house... with friendly people who have their own lives and value time alone, but also want to hang out regularly/chat at the end of the day over a meal or wine or tea and do stuff together now and then. I'm done with houses where I hardly ever see anyone, time for a housefam vibe! Bonus points if you're musical/artsy, especially if you like funky music, and the decor style is art & houseplants. If you don’t have a TV that’s A-OK with me. Super bonus if the house gets good sunlight…! I need somewhere off-street to chain up my little postie motorbike (garden/side path is fine). --- For shortterm places: Looking for somewhere til early or late May. $600/month or below would be best. Open to roomshare for the right place/people. --- For longterm places: I come with hardly any furniture (so I'm looking for an already established place), but I do have a (very small, halfsize upright) piano I would love to bring, so hopefully there's a nook for it somewhere? (you are welcome to play it!) If there’s no room for it / already a piano in the house (!) I can put it in my studio, so no biggie. I'll be away for 2 months in either May/June or June/July, so you'd need to be okay with me sub-letting my room during that time (but I am very protective of my home & belongings, so you can bet your booty I'll be choosy about who comes in, and you get a say in it too of course.) --- Hit me up if you think I might be a good match for your home! I can move in literally any day but really need to find somewhere by the end of Feb. xox

Hi there, I am a female from London, looking for a room in lovely Melbourne! I work full time for a retailer as a coordinator and am here on a working holiday visa till early next year. I Need a room that is fully furnished - including bed if possible. I am social, tidy and love to meet new people. I’m basically looking for a place where the people you live with feel like friends when we're all home at the same time and can chill watching movies or having a glass of wine. I also enjoy having quiet time to myself and totally respect peoples privacy. Let me know if you think I'd be a good match?
Hi there! My name is Katy, and I just moved back to Melbourne from Cairns (from Chicago though). I am 29 years old and am currently working remotely for my old job in Chicago. I've been living in Australia for a year, and I love it! As far as living with me goes, I am clean, organized and respectful. I have always gotten along with my past roommates. I love photography, theater, traveling and exploring restaurants/festivals. I would love to meet people that are from here and get to know the neighborhoods. Oh and I've lived with both males/females in the past, so either works for me. Let me know if you would like to meet up to get to know each other a little better. I work in marketing and love all things creative.
I have just made the move from Currumbin on the Gold Coast to Melbourne for a change in scenery and to further my career in Architecture. Whenever I get the chance I'll be escaping the city to go surfing and camping (the more the merrier!) and am hanging out for the colder months to go snowboarding! I have lived in multiple share houses and know how great they can be, which makes me excited about the opportunity to be part of another one in a new city! I'm super clean and easy to live with, there'll be no dramas if I join your house. I'm always down for a beer and keen to sample the nightlife/music Melbourne has to offer, followed by the morning after breaky to laugh about the nights antics, there's nothing better! I also love a quiet night in with the roomies, listening to music and enjoying each other's company. I'm super excited to get a place and really enjoy everything Melbourne has to offer, so if you want someone who's keen to contribute to the house and knows how fun they can be then I'm your man! Can't wait to hear from you, cheers.
I’m friendly, understanding, respectful and I’m looking forward to make new friends! I am very clean and tidy and would prefer room mates who are clean as well. Ps. I’m also a gamer, so if you are looking for team mates, count me in ;)
Hi! I'm Ignacio, studying Exercise and Sport Science at Deakin University. I'm looking for a place to live relaxed, close to the uni and able to study. I'm graduated of Law and working part-time. I try to spend my free time with my friends or chilling out at home, i'm very reliable person and responsable with bills and rules. I'm playing soccer as much as i can and doing different sports. I just need a place to feel like home :) I'm trying to improve my english everyday so i really like talk with the people and teach them spanish if they want. :)
Hey! Have been living on my own for a few months and ready to have a housemate/housemates. I moved down to Melbourne to play football (soccer) and I'm a nurse too. I don't smoke. Usually keep to myself but am always up for a movie night or a few drinks on the weekend. Learnt to be clean and tidy as you do when you live on your own!
I'm in the comedy and events business so I like to think I have a good sense of humour and social personality. My mood is very consistent and upbeat which makes me easy to get along and live with. I tick all the other boxes in terms of consideration, cleanliness etc. Hoping to get a short-term furnished place to stay (possibly covering someone on holidays)
Find the balance, Hey Flatmates and potential flat-mates. I'm from Melbourne, I and I'm looking for a new place to call home. I spent about 7yrs away and after a year already in Richmond being closer to the cbd than a previous Hampton/Ivanhoe address is just so convenient for work and the things I love to do which locates my search in the inner south & east. I work in Richmond for a travel startup and I've been in the tech-investing-startup-consulting space for almost 10yrs which is exciting and daunting but I love it! I'm very easy going about the house, space and I'm more interested in living with great people so much as a super perfect great house. I'm usually up reasonably early, for a swim/run before work or on weekends, out the door in a heartbeat and back invariably before 7, and don't worry quiet as a mouse if you're in bed. Lately I've been doing a fair bit of training on account of a triathlon, but I'm also very much into relaxing and having glass of wine at night, hikes in the great outdoors on weekends. I'm open to lots of things, trips, a beer or cocktail, yoga a slap in the face doesn't go astray? However I don't smoke, drink to excess unless its an occasion and don't take any substances; no judgement if you do however I don 't like being around drug use especially not at home. I'm respectful of your privacy/space and I see the house as a home and my flat-mates like family and this is me in a nutshell. Hope to hear from you. Will
Me and my girlfriend Paulina have been together for more than 3 years now and are looking for somewhere to stay for the next 4 months before she goes back to Sweden to visit her family. As a couple we love exercising, hiking, going into the city and watching movies at HOYTS or on Netflix. We are quiet and down to earth and respect other people's personal space. Saying that we also expect other people to respect us and to give us the alone time that we need. We are not looking for a party house as both of us are non-drinkers and non-smokers. We'd rather go to bed early and get up the next morning and do something exciting instead. Generally, we are happy travelers that like meeting new people and Paulina loves photography and I (Andrew) loves the gym.

Hi guys! I'm Alice, a 23 years old girl from Italy. I'm looking for a home in Southbank for 4-6 weeks (from the 5th of march), then I will move to Sydney! I'm a super easy going person and currently I'm working in an italian restaurant.
Hiya, My name is Handley Bird-Kellogg. I am a 30 year old female. I may be 30 but I'm not dead yet! I like all the fun things in life! To name a few... festivals, music, of course dancing, art, drawing, fashion, making clothes and costumes. Generally being creative. Love eating and enjoy cooking for others. Better than cooking for yourself! That's always a bit sad! I enjoy trying out new things to see if I am any good at them. I also like chilling with like minded people. But opposites can attract in friends and housemates also. I like to keep a tidy house. It's important to me to make things look nice when it's your home. There are no dishes piling up when I'm around. My moto is its easier to clean them in the moment than the next day when the food goes hard! I value kindness and consideration to others. I enjoy maintaining a childlike vision of the world and feeling like anything is possible, although when needs be will switch on the full fledged adult button. Sarcasm is often part of my British humour! I was born in Seattle in the states but have lived in Bristol in the UK from a young age. I decided to travel at a later age than alot tend to. I have always wanted to see the wonders our world has to offer so have been travelling around and it's one of the best decisions I have made. I have landed in Melbourne and quite like it so looking for somewhere to call home and try to put some roots down. If I sound like someone who you'd be interested in as a roomy I am free to meet up so you can suss me out! X
I am a 28 year old cheerful, fairly responsible and a bit clumsy Dutchie, who likes cooking, being outdoors, occasional painting, cycling and the sea. I have been travelling through Australia with my little car and I would like to build up my career a bit in Melbourne and enjoy Melbourne to the fullest. At the moment my visa is finished in 7 months however I am looking for a way to stay longer. I like going to the beach or camping or just at home baking and cooking. I have some ideas of starting my own business I try to go to as many meetups as I can to get a bit more insight in startups, creative thinking, decision making. At the moment I am staying at a friends house, to help them pay their double rent. I would love to meet you and your roommates and see if it is a good fit. If it is I could move in on the 4th of March. Thank you anyway for your time and considering me. Cheers, Linnette
