Méabh and I recently moved to Australia after meeting up in NZ - before that I had traveled in South America solo for a few months. We had both quit our jobs in Dublin (as an IT Consultant and Childern's Nurse) to start our new life down under. We're aiming to get sponsored and enjoy Melbourne and the rest of Australia for a good while to come all going well. We chose Melbourne because of the amount and range of event, sports, food, people, and we're really excited to set up a nice base from which we can start enjoying it fully!
Hey guys! My name is Elodie and I am studying Osteopathy at Victoria University. I am a laid back, easy going person who is looking for a new house. I love playing soccer, sewing and I cook a mean mexican feed. I currently work two jobs around uni and definitely love having some quiet time. However, I am a very sociable person and am more than happy to chill out with my housemates. Thanks!
I am a 28yo deititian working 4 days a week in Mornington and 2 days in South Yarra. Currently looking for a place along the Frankston train line for easy access to both jobs. I enjoy keeping fit but also love to bake and have a social wine. I enjoy the outdoors and hiking. I am a clean, tidy and a respectful housemate, hoping to find fun, easy going, like minded people.
Hi all! My name is Martin and I have shared a flat in my country so I know how to deal with everyday life at a shared flat. I am really flexible, organized and easy going so I believe I could be a great roommate at your place. I love Arts, painting, watching movies and have a chat with my housemates but I respect everyone else privacy and space as well.
Hi my names Blake and recently moved to Melbourne. Im currently a store manager for cotton on. When I'm not working I love going to the gym, catching up with friends and exploring new places. I'm a very clean and organised person. Love meeting and getting to know new people. I'm a very reliable person.
Overall I'm an easygoing, sociable (happy to always chill out with housemates and do things with them), respectful, tidy and clean, helpful around the house and timely with payments. I've recently moved from Brisbane for my job; I work full time at KPMG in their tax division. I play soccer, tennis and go to the gym. I play guitar as well and am always keen to try new things and meet new people. I also enjoy nights in either doing some reading or watching TV shows or movies or playing some games (video games or board games).
Hi There! My name is Eli (Eleonora) and I am a German on a Working Holiday Visa seeking for a place to settle down for a year in Melbourne. I prefer a movie night over partying but would never decline a cider after work! I love cats but I am scared of dogs, enjoy the presence of any other animal that is not out for my blood and am pretty easy going in general. I am a tidy person in general and it's important to me that everything has it's order. You hate vacuuming, sorting through stuff and cleaning windows? I am your woman! (I am not a big fan of dishes though so if you have a dishwasher...) My hobbies are cooking, video games, fashion and random strolls through the city. The Room I am looking for should be private, furnished with a bed and should not cost more than 300$ including expenses. Feel free to contact me for any questions about my work and other stuff! Cheers, Eli
I'm moving from Brisbane to Melbourne to start a full-time administration position. I love reading, eating, travelling and going to the gym. I'm a quiet, tidy and easy-going person. I'm a non-smoker with no pets.
22 year old Irish guy, working full time Monday to Friday. Easy going, very sociable and keeps the place lovely and clean. Loves music and art, enjoys my time off on the weekends!
Hi! I'm Phil. Looking for a friendly place to call home. I'm 27, and a full-time professional. I'm moving to Melbourne for a new job with next to nothing and starting over, so something with basic furniture would be ideal. Been looking for a change, and secured a job in Melbourne recently (I'm a software developer). I'm social and appreciate having the company of nice flatmates, but also appreciate my quiet/alone time when I need it - and respectfully, I'm flattered by flatmates who enjoy my company but will also respect your privacy when you need it. I'm tidy, yet laid back. I've been in and out of share accomodation since 2009, managed both by myself, and others. I'm still friends with most of my old flatmates. I strongly believe in an equal playing field in a share house - we all ought to chip in the time for making our place feel like home. From Newcastle NSW originally, but lived in Sydney for 8 years.
Oh hey future flatties! I'm a bioethicist who's just moved to Melbourne from Auckland. Im going to be working full-time, studying part-time, and just being generally awesome all the time. I'm really into hanging with friends and family, cooking, playing and watching sport, and pretty much anything beach related. I enjoy long walks and delicious wine (the walk part is kind of a joke, but I'm dead serious about the wine). I find these things kinda weird to fill out, so if you want to know more, hit me up! Hopefully we'll be living together in no time! Tony
Hey Guys I'm Kiwi aged 21 with a degree in hotel management! Just secured a full time job with Sheraton Hotel Melbourne so looking for some fun outgoing flattys who love to laugh and socialise. A room with a double bed and one that has windows!
Hi Guys! I'm looking for a room or a room share only for a month. From the last week of April till the end of May, but it's flexible. I'm an exchange student at Deakin University. I love good food, music and long walks! I hope to see as much of Australia as possible in the next few months. Let me know if you have a room to rent just for that short term. Cheers! Agnes xx
Hey! Me and my friend Luc are looking for a room to share! We're currently living in Sydney but will be moving to Melbourne in a couple weeks for work so a parking space will be needed! We're really outgoing people, we train really hard and work really hard during the week so we can really enjoy our weekends!
I'm working and studying, when I'm at home I'm pretty chill and need some down time, but I like to social when I'm around and also respect to your own space. I prefer not living in a party house but do enjoy the odd drink/dinner. I'm very clean and tidy (but not a clean freak type), friendly and open-minded. I'm into travelling, movies, music, sports, photography, arts, food, coffee and cats :) Besides my works, I like to go to the gigs, movies, exhibitions, shows, festivals, exploring the nice restaurants/cafes/pastry shops/markets, and travel when I have holidays. Although we might have the different work schedules, I'm very respectful and won't bring the party to home. I am happy to share the household as I like to keep the house clean and tidy, I'm looking for the liked -mind housemate who likes clean and tidy, and would be energy conscious, e.g. would not wash one clothes a time or smartly use air-con/heater etc. I'm looking for a peaceful home to live with positive people, who enjoy a relaxed quiet home. ***If your home is TV free, it will be a great bonus to me! Reliable and honest, pay rent on time. Conscious of the wastage of the energy. Looking for a relaxed home, not a party house. Clean and tidy, happy to join the household. Independent, share when I/you want to. Don't mind smokers but no smoking in the house. Open-minded, love multi- cultural, LGBT friendly, 40+ friendly. Pastry chef, occasional sweet treats :) Cat lover, welcome cats and like dogs. Please message me before calling, thank you! My budget is 800 to 1000/month, depending on the place.
Hi! I am a hairstylist so I can give you cheap haircut! I'm super friendly, easy going, super tidy and respectful! My hobbies and interests are swimming, animals, music, movies and music. I love meeting new people and having a laugh! So hopefully will find the right flat mates!! Xx
Hi! We are an easy going, friendly couple from Scotland who have just arrived in Melbourne. We are looking for full time employment at the moment and will be looking to stay in Melbourne for around 2 and a half months. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hello! So, you’ve got a room and need it filled… Or perhaps you’ve been looking at that studio in South Yarra/Hawthorn that is wayyy too expensive and decided it’s much cheaper to team up… Look no further because I'm your solution! Why me you may ask? Well let me summarise: - Student; although I can be quiet and studious, I am quite sociable! Good times guaranteed! - Avid Cook; who doesn’t like a flatmate who can actually cook restaurant quality food?? I like decent wine too haha :D - Thrilling Chatterbox; when it comes to topics, I’m a jack-of-all-trades and master of none – all chats are fair game :) - Clean, tidy, considerate, friendly, no pets, non-smoker, not a major party animal; yawn, the usual… - Financially sound; A student who is financially sound??? Yes please! Rent is always paid on time without fuss :) - Local citizen; no visas or any restrictions here! 100% Aussie born n’ bred so I’m deffs looking for long term. Obviously I’m just the perfect flatmate that you’ve been looking for (oh, I've got experience living away from home too!) . Hit me up and I’m sure we can smooth out a few things. Optimally, I’d be looking to rent a room in/team up for a place in Hawthorn/South Yarra with people who are relatively like-minded :) But I reckon it’ll certainly be fun whichever ride we take! Fairly flexible with the move in date but prefer to have something organised before May :) Cheerio and I know you'll make the right decision XD, Kameron Chan
