TL;DR Arriving in Australia first week of August for work. Looking for a room and a garage or large shed for Windsurfing kit with on or off street parking. Less than 30 mins to Carlton. 25-35 year old flat mates. Full version: Third culture, house share trained guy moving from Europe to Melbourne for work. Native in English and French. University educated. Work in business development for a Defence company. Into windsurfing, cars, music, hitting the gym, good food etc. No drugs. Looking for a clean and tidy (essential) friendly household of full time workers (no students). Age range 25-35. Educated... Preference for living with tenants only - not living with landlords. No couples please. My office is in Carlton and I should be travelling quite regularly for work. I would like to keep commute under 30 mins door to door. Prioritising properties which have a garage (shared or not) as I will need to store my windsurfing kit. On or off street parking essential. Home is to be a peaceful drama free sanctuary - not a party house. However I’m still into wining and dining; naturally...
I am super flexible when it comes to sharing things. I can stay in and binge watch crime shows on Netflix for hours, or I can go out for a little adventure! I party adequately but I study too. I listen to lots and lots of music and I try to be as clean as possible. I am coming to Melbourne University for a semester and I would love to live with people who I can become friends for a long time! :D
I'm just always interested in learning and experiencing new things. Recently I've been learning how to play the guitar (tho I'm miserable) and Olympic weightlifting. Who knows what's next? Meanwhile, I like to travel to different places (especially in Asia because it is very different from the western culture I grew up). I'm always listening to music and it varies from Rock to electronic, some classical and Brazilian popular music (MPB). I'm from Brazil. It is up to you to figure out whether I like soccer, samba, and caipirinha. I can teach you Portuguese, how to cook, software programming, nutrition, exercises and tell my crazy stories and theories. I'm moving to Melbourne to work as a full-time software developer.
Clean friendly respectful female who is either making natural medicines and remedies or working ;) I m pretty easy going and only real concern in a house mate is to keep their home clean ;)
Myself Yesh, a fulltime construction professional working for a construction firm in Melbourne CBD. I am a photography lover and an outdoor enthusiast, who loves coffee and Beer. I am easy going, clean and a tidy individual.
I'm looking for a private room. I'm Japanese. I came to Melbourne in February to study English. I go to English school every week day and have part time job. My school and work place are in the city I would like to live where I can go to the city in less than 40 minutes. I'm tidy, quiet, responsible, considerate and friendly.
Hi! I am Riche from The Netherlands and I will be going on Exchange starting from the end of June until whoever knows. In the Netherlands I am studying Econometrics, which is basically Mathematics for extreme nerds, like me. Although I'm secretively a nerd, I'm really social and outgoing. Just like the rest I can say that I'm the best roommate ever, which is obviously the case, but I don't think anyone reads/believes the text that is written here. Personally, I'm just looking for a very cozy/socially active house!
Hi, I'm a healer also work in media , teach language casually. A vegetarian, mediator, artist care about environment and all beings. I enjoy be in nature, create art, watch movies, series( I enjoy Netflix ;)) I am seeking an empty private room with lots of storage if possible with a build in wardrobe where sun shine comes in the morning:)) (a large room would be lovely!) I like to have all bills included in rent. short walking distance to grocery shops and cafes since I don't drive. I have my own room furniture but might let them go, depending on the condition :) I am pretty neat and like to surrounded in clean environment:) **I need to notify my current apartment owner about my moving a month before so It would be ideal to have an inspection earlier as possible. Looking forward to hear:) Thanks!
I work full-time in finance and planning in Melbourne CBD. I'm quiet at first but once you get to know me I am quite friendly. I will respect your personal space and need for quiet time. I'm clean and tidy with a passion for healthy food, well-being, yoga and relaxation. I have a great circle of friends, however I am open to expanding that circle!
Hi there. I’m a 23 year old kiwi female from Auckland, looking for a flat. I enjoy being social, having a laugh, and am also respectful towards others, and tidy up after myself. Looking for a friend to do things with as well as a flatmate. If you feel like I’d be a good fit, let me know :)
Hi! The name’s Karishma. I was born and raised in Thailand, moved to Melbourne to pursue my masters degree (I’ll be going to RMIT). I’m currently 29 years old and gurantee to be someone easy and great to live with! 1. I can cook great food! :D 2. Since I do consider myself a sensible adult, I’m not loud. I love my share of peace and quiet. 3. I love cleanliness, yes please!! 4. I’m orgnised, so you can expect minimal amount of mess. 5. I love animals, so if you have pets, I’d welcome that! I was never allowed to have pets while living in Thailand (except for a few gold fishes and koi fishes xD) - so that’d be amazing! 6. I’m open minded and have a considerably good sense of humor? Though you can be the judge of that when we meet! 7. I love diversity and meeting new people 8. I absolutely despise discrimination against any religion, race, ethnicity or gender. I love everyone. We’re all human beings and deserve the right to live in peace. ;) In the end, we all croak and end up in the dust. (I can be so philosophical sometimes, it’s ridiculous!) 9. I meditate? xD so I could say I’m pretty calm - that means I don’t lose my crap easily. 10. Let's be friends and have a blast?! :) Extras: I read, write and draw.

Vannis, 19 yr from a small and natural town in North part of China. This would give a bit credit if you like people who are not judgy or picky. I am friendly and open-minded, whilst it doesn't make me live without principles. I would like to befriend with many sorts of people, inasmuch as they are not too demanding. I am currently a gay for my boyfriend, sounds a bit too casual? - I live for happiness, so don't have excessive rules (I respect the necessary rules though). Don't worry, I am quit a quiet, and respectable person, people say me like a kid, mainly because of my voice and clothing style I guess, lol. so yeah, definitely LGBTQ friendly, and no worries at all if the housemates or flatmates are either male or female or trans. As for fan, I like to watch movies in cinemas, have meals together with anyone, chitchat about everything and learn to play sports (say learn, it's because I can only play badminton, swim and play many other traditional sports which no one plays in places out of my town). Sometimes I also play PUBG, a mobile strategical and shooting game. I am pretty much okay if you want me to come to do things together with you or your friends as long as it's not night-clubing. I can drink or smoke, btw, but I usually tend to not. Purpose coming back to Melbourne is to kickstart my undergraduate study in Commerce, uniMelb. I will also find some work to do after this. I speak my local accented Chinese language in China, whilst I speak English in Australia and longing to learn Spanish. I also want to be able to speak Mongolian and Uyghur, two other "Chinese" languages if I can, but sounds like too far away from reality, hahaha.
Hi there, my name is Danny, I'm 41y/o and I have a beautiful 6 y/o well behaved and very friendly golden Labrador retriever. I'm pretty quiet during the week as I work full time in the telecommunications industry but I like to socialise more on the weekends. I have a work ute and 7x5 trailer which I would be happy to park on the street, however, for my job, I need to hire a skip bin every 2 weeks so which needs to remain on the property (if possible) or out on the nature strip and gets picked up when it's full. I love to cook, and when I do, I cook enough to feed an army! Plus I also have two young boys (5 and 1 y/o) but they will not be staying with me other than to visit sometimes on the weekends. If you'd like a neat, respectful and mature flatmate, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
Brad, 28 and love all things sports and socialising. I've been in Melbourne for 7 years now and absolutely love it here. I'm a laid back character who enjoys a beer or wine with friends. Currently living in Prahran so keen to stay around the area as the social circle are all nearby. I work full-time in the sports/events industry and do travel a bit throughout the year for it. Currently managing events in Perth, Gold Coast and Fiji which keeps me nice a busy! Downtime I do like to spend in Melbourne with friends but also have family in NSW. Weekends you'll find me with mates for brunch, footy or out exploring the most livable city in the world.
I am a dutch, 2nd year student at Erasmus University Rotterdam. In july, I will be moving to Melbourne for about 6 months on exchange. I am very excited to be starting this adventure but first things first: I need a place to stay. A little bit about myself: currently, I live with two housemates with whom I've been living with for the past 2 years. I am a clean and tidy person who is very social but also values her alone time. I enjoy hanging out with friends and exploring new places to go and places to eat. Furthermore, I am a creative person which is something that I am trying to further develop in Melbourne by following some more design focussed courses.
We are a young couple in our 30's. I am a Desktop Publisher and Professional Graphic Designer. I got a full time job as an Industrial Cook and I also do some Uber on the weekends. My girlfriend is a full time student, she is doing a Graduate Diploma in Early Childhood and Care. She is also working as a Nanny. In our free time we love watching movies and travelling. We are looking for a new place to live, pretty much a space where we can feel comfortable in a clean and organised atmosphere. The most important thing for us is to have privacy when we need it and also to live in a clean a quiet space.
I'm into fitness, love cooking and go for a drink once in a while. As a person very organised and love to be around with cheerful active people. Love to have young dynamic flatmates to grab a bite or drink wine sometimes. I'm also a huge Instagramer and hoping to open a You tube account soon too. Love fashion, food and travelling.
Myself(Luke) and Mia are both very laid back while still maintaining a clean lifestyle. I work full time as a Kfc manager and also looking to start bartending. Mia is a student, but is taking some time off at the moment. Both enjoy a night out with a few drinks. Although a night in watching a movie is also great. We have lived in a number of share houses so we know how to be respectful of others. We are also looking to get a Puppy! So keep that in mind.
