Hey guys!! Moving from Newcastle to Melbs beginning of 2018! Although knowing absolutely nobody in Melbourne and leaving my life here is a bit scary I love trying new things, meeting a bunch of new people and creating amazing friendships. Ive visited melbs a number of times now and fall more inlove each time. I'm looking for either someone now who is in a similar boat of moving and wants to meet new people, an already established share house that thinks id be a good fit orrr a bunch a legends who want to team up and create a new share house together. A little bit about me.... I'll be a full time student studying at RMIT. I currently work as a cafe/bar manager in Newcastle studying full time. I will be looking for hospo work while I continue my studies in Melbourne. Other than that I enjoy keeping fit and healthy, breakie, lunch, dinner, drinks and basically any other activities you throw at me no doubt I'll love. I'm a positive person and come with a good attitude. Message me if you'd like to have a chat! Cheers xx
Hi everyone, I'm Sam! I'm a PA/accounts for an insurance broker, enjoy working out, photography, movies and food haha. I'm friendly and always up for a chat. Looking for a chill place to live, not phased if it's with guys or girls ☺️
Quiet person looking for a quiet, peaceful place to live. I work full-time in research, which I love. Plus, I enjoy nature, good food, and topical discussions. Also a keen Storm supporter. Not a vegan, but don't mind if you are. Very conscious of saving power, water and gas (don't like heaters or air-conditioning). Prefer shared cleaning duties, though expect you (and I) would clean up own messes in a timely manner. Respectful of others things and spaces. Non-smoker and very rare drinker. Definitely not the partying type, nor am I the type to invite random people over. During the week (after work), I unwind by reading a book or by watching a movie/TV show on my laptop, and I definitely like to sleep early. Thus, looking for a place that is quiet between 10pm and 6am to ensure a good night's rest. On the weekends, I get out and about, usually on my bike. I love animals, so if you have a pet I would very happy. Anyway, that's me.
Hola!!! My name is Claudia, I am 24 years old and I am from Barcelona, Spain. I studied Fashion Design in Barcelona and now I am in Australia with a 1 year working and holiday visa. I love travelling and all related to art. I'm always up for a day out exploring, enjoy the sunshine and socialising. I also enjoy relaxing at home and either reading or watching movies. I would love to meet some more people from Melbourne! I'm friendly, neat and easy going. Feel free to message me any time! Thank you!!
Recently moved from Adelaide and looking for a place to call home. I'm a tidy person, professionally employed working in the CBD. I enjoy food, wine and getting outdoors on weekends. I'm respectful of space, do love a good chat and have been known to binge watch tv every now and then. My job keeps me busy during the week, I'm a non-smoker and decent cook if that's of any bonus :)
I’m a web designer currently living in the eastern suburbs but wanting to move closer to work. I have a couch, washing machine, dryer and kitchen ‘supplies’, so need to team up with someone who doesn’t have those things. I’m neat and tidy and a bit of a homebody, unless at work 9-5.30 or visiting family and friends on the weekend. I’d be looking for a place that’s walking distance to a supermarket and gym. I can move at anytime but would prefer in the new year.
Hi, My name is Pim and I have been living in Australia for over a year. I have a full-time job working at festivals and events in and around Melbourne. I am a tidy and clean person and like to cook. In my free time, I like to go for a surf, play the guitar, watch a movie or series, have some drinks or have a nice chilled day at the beach. I hope to find a nice place with a social vibe and fun people to hang out with.
Hi there, I'm Ronny, I'm a 30yo single professional veterinarian new to Melbourne. I'm originally from New Zealand and have recently lived in London for several years. I am looking for furnished accommodation with own bathroom. My location choices are a rough guess and very flexible. I'm also flexible with my move dates and length of stay as I have temporary arrangements. I'm tidy and respect others spaces, can work fairly long and variable hours, quite independent but enjoy a social flat. I enjoy travel, cuisine, reading and sitting down with a glass of wine or gin. Anything else, feel free to flick me a msg :) Cheers!
Hi, I'm Meagan- currently a 2nd year psychology student at Deakin University living in Melbourne. I'm looking to move closer to the city as I'm out in the suburbs currently. I'm super friendly and easy going. As a roommate, I'm respectful, clean and more than willing to do my share of chores and cleaning (I like living in a clean house). I usually keep to myself but love a good chat. I'm not a huge party person, but I do enjoy the occasional drink and night out. I love music, tv shows (rick and morty, friends- all the good ones), drawing and buying things I don't necessarily need Would love to hear from anyone wanting to team up or have a share house and think I'd be a great room mate
I come from Germany and I'm 18 years old. I would appreciate if my flatmate is also down to go out sometimes but doesn't have to be that way. Especially during my work and travel journey I like to have only those things I really need and to keep a certain order. So I would be pleasant roommate.
Fairly early riser who enjoys coming home to socialise with flatmates in the evening and at weekends. I am very tidy and enjoy communal meals, love sports, music and coffee.
I'm easy to get along with & I like honest communication between one another. Clean and genuinely concerned about other peoples well being.
Hiya!! I've recently moved to Melbourne for work and am looking for a place for a minimum of 3 months while I get to know the city and find my feet here! I'm planning on being here long term and if the flat works out I'd definitely be open to staying longer. I work as an Account Manager for a technology company and love my job, I work usual hours (sometimes longer depending on my workload), Mon-Fri and am pretty quiet during the week although I am enjoying all of the delicious food spots that Melbourne has to offer. In the weekends I am enjoying exploring Melbourne, catching up with friends, brunching, lunching, shopping and I love the beach when the warm weather hits. I'm pretty chilled but am a bit of a clean freak and a very courteous flatmate. I'm always down for a good chat and sharing a meal and a glass of red with the flatties but also have a mutual respect for own space. I'm looking for more of a home vibe rather than a party flat, and I'm an animal lover if you have a furry addition to the house. Given I've not long arrived I don't have any furniture yet so would be awesome if the room has some furniture but not the end of the world either. Ideally, it would be great to be near public transport while I find my way around!! If you have any questions or the perfect room get in touch:)
Hello potential housemates/house owners. Sarah and I (Talea) are moving to Melbourne next year as we are both starting jobs with the same company. We both studied at university in Brisbane and are excited to make the move down. We do not know each other very well as we have just teamed up to move together. We are hoping to find someone else to move into a house/apartment with us in Melbourne. Being near a train station is a must, we will be working in Docklands not far from Southern Cross Station so easy access to that is a priority. Also, we would prefer to have a non-smoker. We would both like to get a place that is less than $300 per week each, including all bills (e.g. internet, power, etc.) Other than that, read a bit about us below. My name is Talea, I am 20 and about to finish my degree is Business. I have spent the last few years living in house sharing accommodations so living with new and different people is not new to me. I really like sports and I am an avid rugby fan. Upon moving to Melbourne, I am hoping to get a cat so I that you would be okay with having one around the place. I am pretty easy going and like to have a laugh watching TV and movies. I also like getting out and about, especially playing sports and I hope to explore Melbourne a lot more when I get there. Also, I have a boyfriend of 3 year who unfortunately can't make the move with me but will be visiting often so you will get to meet him too. I enjoy spending time with others but I like to have space and alone time too so I won't be in your face. I hope to hear from you. I’m Sarah, I’m 23 and starting a job like Talea. For hobbies I like doing crafty things like knitting, sometimes arty things, I also like to read and bake. I’d say travel is my favourite but it’s not something I can do all the time, but I can still try new things here. I want to go explore Melbourne, and see what it has to offer, maybe do some hiking and stuff like that. For exercise I need a friend or to do social sports because I’m so bad at self-motivating. So, I’ll probably join some team or course. My current dream is to grow some plants without killing them, probably succulents because I’m a realist. I like to be friends with my housemates and I’m still really good friends with a few past housemates, but I’m an introvert at heart so you don’t have to worry about me suffocating you with always wanting to hang out. I’ve lived in different share house situations for about 5 years now, I know how to keep a place clean and split duties. So I’d like someone who is keen to hangout and have a chat at times, washes their dishes and won’t shame me for eating raw cookie dough.
Hellooo Love life, love music, love good people and being creative whenever possible. Into photography, electronic music, soccer/exercise and living a healthy lifestyle. Love a boogie If youre a little weird and enthusiastic on life we will get along >>>
My name is Jessica Nash, i am currently 19. I am a bubbly, happy and easy going person, very clean and tidy. I enjoy being social and keeping busy. I work full time and just finished my studies at Elly Lukas, also going on to do event management. Looking for a share house with fun, happy and easy going people that are also tidy :) Thanks
Hi my name is Grace, and I'm currently Studying Arts and Deakin University in Burwood. I have been living in student accommodation for the past year and am just looking to move out somewhere quieter. There is nothing I love more than having a good chat with someone but I also appreciate having some downtime by myself. I'm looking for someone who has a similar sense of humour and who can hopefully become a good friend.
Hi there, We are a couple looking for a place starting in November or December. I will start full-time work in 2018. My partner, she will be working part time and studying. We are both friendly, super easy going, respectful and enjoy meaningful conversations or a hearty a laugh. Let me know if we sound like your people. Lushani
Moving to Melbourne from Brisbane to start a graduate job in marketing. Enjoy a mix of indoor hobbies such as reading and gaming, and outdoor activities such as hiking and camping (recently went to Mt Everest Base Camp and the Fiordlands of New Zealand). I have lived in a sharehouse for the past year, and appreciate a very clean and well-kept sharehouse. I enjoy cooking and baking food at home and exploring cities looking for amazing places to eat out.
Hi I'm Rhys. I work full time in Port Melbourne as a graphic designer. I am also a professional runner and spend much of my spare time (mostly week nights straight after work) either at training or the gym. I am also an illustrator and have heaps of great art (and nice furniture) that I can bring with me. I'm gentle natured, totally sorted, clean, easy to get a long with and fully respect other people's privacy. I'd make a great housemate :)
Hi My name is Taryn and I like to think I am extremely easy going and always up for a good chat but definitely respect privacy. I am extremelly flexible on length of stay but am definitely looking for a longer term place. I work full time in recruitment in Port Melbourne and the commute from the Mornington Peninsula is starting to get a bit too much . Generally I stay relatively quiet during the week nights watching tv and chilling but occassionly enjoy a few drinks and dinner out after work. On the weekend I like to go out with friends for a few drinks or to a friends place for games night (I am pretty competitive with board games and like to think I am a beer pong champion). I can also easily stay at home on the weekend and watch the footy and netflix and just relax I have lived in multiple share houses so know how important it is to respect communal areas and contribute to house chores. The kind of place I am looking for is a house where we can have a chat about the days events. I have built some amazing friendships through share houses and am looking to continue this. I am a crazy animal lover so don't mind living in a place with pets.
