Just moved to Melbourne and looking for some short term accommodation to get a feel for the city before buying something (if I can). Employed full time, training for triathlons, easy going, love a beer, many years experience living in share housing.
HI! I'm leaving in Melbourne and I work in hospitality. My sweet boyfriend is coming to visit me for a month and we are looking a nice room to rent from the end of December to the 3rd of February 2017. We are coming from Rome and we do videos for commercials and cinema. We are nice and clean people! we like to socialize and we respect the privacy of all the flatmates :)
I'm moving to Melbourne to start university next year at VCA in Southbank, and am looking for any nice place to live. I'm somewhat introverted and quiet but easygoing and up for socialising, and I'm easy to get along with. I am a photographer and love art, music, films, games, and pretty much anything creative. I'm also vegan and an animal lover, and great with pets.
I'm going to be studying Health Sciences and Naturopathy, I am also a yoga instructor and a very laid back kind of person. I love all animals and get along with most people. I also love to cook and I think I'm pretty good at it. I have tattoos, I ride a motorcycle on nice days and I enjoy things like hiking, reading, card games. Of course I love getting together with mates to have a drink and hang out but I'll be in full on study mode all year so gatherings wont be frequent at home. I prefer to keep my home peaceful and am considerate of others personal space and privacy.
Professional, 32yr old looking for likeminded housemate! Working in the city and then at gym most nights. Don't usually drink mid week (unless celebration calls) but out and about for dinner and drinks on weekends. Don't have much to contribute to the house but happy to purchase. Currently living with 2 girls and looking to downsize. Ideal space will have an ensuite and a car space available would also be helpful.
I will be starting my Master of Urban Planning and Environment and ideally I'm looking to live with like minded people. I prefer living in share houses with a social environment that involves communitarianism either routinely or from time to time. Ideally I would like to live with people who know how to enjoy themselves and take full advantage of living in Melbourne, but who also balance this with their studies/work. I'm a very relaxed guy, social and outgoing, my interests include, basketball, traveling, languages, skiing, going to gigs, cooking.
I'm a primary school teacher who has just gotten back from teaching in the UK for the last two years. Starting at a new school in Melbourne in late January in Canterbury. I'm easy going, tidy, and enjoy cooking, fitness, wine, going out and socialising with friends...definitely not a home body. Want to live with people that I can share a drink or meal, but who also have their own social lives.
I have lived all over the world and I've had many great experiences sharing houses. I'm a tidy and considerate person to live with and I understand the un-written rules of house sharing.
Heya! I've been traveling since August and now looking for a place to call home to get out of hostel life whilst working in Melbs! I am easy going, chilled and fun to live with! I don't smoke and enjoy a night out at the weekend along with spontaneous after work drinks. Preferably I would prefer to live near the beach in the St Kilda area as its my favorite part of Melbourne and looking forward to a BBQ beach day on Christmas! I'm planning on being here until at least April before deciding where my next adventure will take me. I am available to move in straight away and I am preferably looking for a place with four or more people and wouldn't mind sharing a room. Drop me a message if you have anything suitable :)
Hi guys, I am in my final year of studying Public Relations at RMIT in the city, and work casually at Myer Bourke St. I have lived out of home for two years now, so I know how to live with other people, and I have quite a lot of my own things for example, a fridge, freezer and tv. I am fun and easy going, but I also do enjoy time to myself. Send me a message, if you want to know more about me :)
Hey, my name is Filippo. I've currently gained a working visa to come visit Australia for 1 year. I'm hoping to be full time but currently will be receiving only part time hours. Others and myself consider me to be a clean, honest and polite house mate that is more than happy to hang with yourself or give you personal space! Italian nationality and am able to speak fluent and Italian and what others tell me is "great english" My job will be in the cbd so needing somewhere close by. Please contact me :)
My name is Imogen, I am currently not living in Melbourne but am hoping to at the beginning of 2017 ( if accepted into university) I'm hoping to study a bachelor of communication course, as this is my passion. I love art and food and relaxing in my bed binge watching tv shows. I will be taking up a part time job whilst studying, but wanting to find a pretty trendy house with a respectful yet lovely room mate! :)
Apart from having traits you want in a housemate like being clean and tidy, washing up their dishes and making sure food in the fridge doesn't go mouldy etc, I've lived with lots of people before so i can adapt to different personality types and the different ways we all live ☺️ I'm a super busy person which means I'm not home a lot, I work both morning and night times, but I love to go out and relax with friends or unwind at home with a glass of wine and tv (food network is always a winner). I love to cook, but I'm from a big family so I believe home cooked meals are to be enjoyed together and time should be spent together.
Hey, i am a 34 year easy going male professional moving to Melbourne to start a new job and looking for a room to rent including bills (preferably a double en-suite) from 17/12/2016. I am of Indian roots and recently moved down from England (where i lived for 10 years) to WA & now moving to VIC. I am non-smoker, no pets, no party animal and mature gentleman.
I am working full time as a management consultant so am usually not in Melbourne during the week. On the weekends I like to exercise and brunch! Looking for a fun clean place to live with other people in full time work.
Hi All, My name is Daniel, I am 21 years old. I will be studying at SCU for my Bachelors Degree in IT. I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a happy-go-lucky, glass-half-full type person. Clean, neat and independent. A lover of food, films, travel and having fun. Hoping to live with similar-aged people who enjoy dinner, wine, movies, chatting, travelling and all those good things. Although I am very sociable but I totally respect privacy and personal spaces. I also have a part time job, so will be pretty busy with that and studying however, I'm always up for hanging out. Give me a message if you think you'd like to live with me or want to chat! Very excited to meet some new people and experience all Melbourne has to offer! Thank You
I'm a Hong Kongese:), holding a working holiday visa, going to move to Melbourne on 30/11, and looking for a sharehouse which is nearby the city centre (CBD). I'm a easy-going, keep clean, tidy, friendly, chilled person. It's really great that if we can garb some drinks and talks, also travel together! I like to listen music and watch movies(but have limited data plan of my phone:(, so that I prefer the rent included the internet lol） I have previous home stay experience stay with multi countries ppl in same house, I know the respectation of other ppl.
Hi there, my name is Alisha and I'm currently looking for my own large studio/one bedroom or one other person to sign a lease with. If I were to lease with someone else, I'd like to sign a new lease together. I work as a hairdresser and a neat, tidy and reliable person. Working and usually quiet throughout the week and on the weekends will either enjoy relaxing or go out/ have a few friends over for drinks. Would like to live with another young working professional that is like-minded.
Hi there, I'm a 32 year old professional looking for a new place to stay! I work long hours but when I'm home I enjoy socialising but also enjoy the quiet times too. I like to hang out with friends, bars and pubs with some tunes, AFL (massive hawks fan) and go to the gym, cycle etc. I am a respectful, clean and considerate person and come from a 3 bedroom home, so have all furniture to utilise! I'm looking for someone who is similar in having a chat and a laugh, but also likes their downtime too. I have children, but they don't live with me. They generally stay one weekend per fortnight/month. Most of the time we aren't home and really come home to sleep and then up and about the next day. Can make alternate arrangements if required, but this has generally not been a problem in the past with housemates If you'd like to know any more, then let me know and I'll be happy to share!
Clean, tidy, fun loving, working professional who loves food and coffee. I have lived with roommates previously for 3 years in port Melbourne and have made life long friends out of it. Pays bills on time and want to team up with like minded people. ☺️
I'm pretty tidy! I'm quiet and nice. Very friendly and fun... I'm very open and diverse and get along with others very well. I'm hilarious! I'm very respectful of others space! I am very new to Melbourne (coming from the States) but I am open to most areas...as long as there is close access to a tram/train/easy transport. I'd prefer a place with access to wifi. Willing to get this on my own (for everyone to use) if not available. Prefer furnished because it's easier. Message me please! I'm available now!
I've been in Melbourne for 2 months for work and will be back from January-April next year. I help charities use technology well, mostly building databases and helping implement good processes to support them. My work is based in Malvern, so looking for something within about 25 minutes by transit to there, but that is also not too far from the city and the areas where all the cool Melbourne acrobatics are happening. (I am a budding acrobat!) When I'm not trying to do better handstands, I can be found reading, gaming (modern tabletop games mostly, with a bit of RPG), and drinking fine Tasmanian whiskey. My job is pretty demanding, so I like a quiet home I can curl up in, although I prefer to live with housemates who like a friendly chat and low-key hangouts in the common places (rather than a place where we all just live around each other, passing like ships in the night). I am queer (bi) and poly--obviously we can sort out what's okay in terms of having people stay over occasionally (unlikely for such a short stay though, honestly), but if someone's like, philosophically committed to being an asshat about either of those things just in general, we'd probably both be a lot happier living with other people. Oh, and I cook! Will keep the kitchen tidy if I'm just cooking for me, but I am generally always willing to feed people if they're happy to do the dishes Coming back around 8 January and staying through April. Also, $300 is getting to the top of my budget--ideally looking for something in the $175-$275 range.
Hello, My name is Kathrin, I am a 25 year old professional, I work at The Alfred hospital. I am looking to live with someone who is considerate of my hours however likes to have a wine and explore some cool places in Melbourne together. I am also quite social so I am looking to live with someone who doesn't mind me occasionally having friends around.
22 year old male from London, big fan of sport and music. Like a party but also enjoy chilling in and going to the gym. Moving to Melbourne around February time and looking to move in with some like minded people!
I'm a 29 year old composer/musician/filmmaker from New Zealand. I work 4 days in a music shop, and spend my other days out and about, working on projects with other writers/illustrators/songwriters. I'm clean, tidy, relaxed, and a good communicator with a love for swimming, reading, health/nutrition, having conversations about philosophy/psychology and just generally learning about the world. I often like to cook with/for friends, and having the odd sing/jam with musicians, but I'm also very respectful with regards to my music-making - it's mostly acoustic stuff or choral. I'm looking for a long term home and am flexible with move-in date. If you reckon I might be a good fit feel free to send me a message :)
Hello potential roommate! My name is Kyran, I've lived in Geelong for the last four years. I finished my bachelor in Architectural Technology this week and I'm looking to move back up to Melbourne now that I am done. Though I loathe the term, I am best defined as an entrepreneur. I'm starting up a retail power company. Other than that I fancy myself a bit of a chef. I'm into eating and living healthy. I practise martial arts, meditate and read. Comes fully house trained. I enjoy living in a clean house. That translates to things like; washing dishes nightly, packing up after finished, and general organisation. Other than that I've run a share house for the past 3 years. I am looking for a room big enough for a queen sized bed. I also use a fair bit of freezer space. I've got a few goodies that I would be bringing, all of which I'm happy to be communal. Things like a push button coffee machine, sous vide cooker, Olympic weights, fitness gear, and other bits and bobs. My ideal house mates are future friends. That tends to be people who are ambitious, enjoy a healthy lifestyle, and love a deep conversation.
Full-time, responsible dude who cleans after himself and takes pride in his home. I also value spending time with my family in the suburbs as well as with friends in the city, so you won't find a couch potato here. Like to get out and about in the city when possible, also happy to stay at home for a relaxing night after work. I want to build relationships with my future housemate/s, and find those things in common.

I am a young professional, into health and fitness, and I like socialising with my friends and family. I am up early and hit the gym before work, and tend to socialise a couple of nights a week. Not a big partier, and do a bit of quiet study outside of work hours as well. I also have a dog (a Griffon) called Arnie. He is very small and well trained. He is only home when I am, as he stays at my parents place during the day. He barely sheds, and is a lovely little guy.
Hi future flatmates! I'm from the Netherlands and looking for a place to stay during my exchange at Monash University. I'm always up for a shared meal, a nice chat or a glass of wine. :)
We are really sociable, respectful and clean housemates that work hard. Both of us work full time - though Nick works from home/cafes around Melbourne, where I (Caroline) bartend/waitress at the Duke of Wellington. :) When we aren't off working long hours though, we also like to enjoy time with people during evenings and weekends. Possibly enjoy a good bottle of red and chill out to some good music.

Hi there, I'm Emily and I am in the process of re-locating from the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula to Melbourne in Jan 2017 - hoping to find a perfect place with great flat mates. I am 24 years old, working full time as an Occupational Therapist. I have a very friendly and well-behaved dog who lives/sleeps outdoors, therefore I would need to find a house with a suitable backyard/courtyard. I love the outdoors, socialising with friends, travelling, exercise and having a wine or two! I am neat and tidy and feel I am very easy to live with. Emily :)
Hey there I'm Mikaela... at the moment i'm looking at moving from New Zealand to Melbourne. I have a cat that i'm wanting to bring with me. At this stage i'm looking to come over in mid February. I'm a passionate barista wanting to experience the Australian coffee culture. I've been flatting for the last 4 years. I'm easy going, tidy, reliable, enjoy chilling out with friends and can make great coffee!
Hello future housemates, Originally from Ocean Grove I am moving to Melbourne for work and listed the 10th of Jan as a potential move in date, however I am flexible. I like to think I'm a good all rounder. I love sport, particularly AFL but am hardly a mans man. I am pretty active but am easily convinced into eating whole family pizza, washed down with a few beers. I love the outdoors (am passionate about the environment) but am equally at home reading the paper (on my phone) in a cafe. I'm not very fussy and prefer to be accommodating rather than quarrelsome. I'm conscious and respectful of others, clean and tidy and definitely eager to make a positive contribution to a new household family. Most of all I am looking forward to meeting my new housemates!
Hey there! my name's Bianca. I'm a Tassie gal who is a uni graduate and I'm moving to the big smoke in late December/early January to do legal prac and then work as a baby lawyer. I have lived in share houses for 2 years now, and as a housemate I'm very chill, social, like to share the odd meal and have some banter in the house. At the same time, I'm good at respecting everyone's space and down time. I am clean, reliable, and always pay rent/bills on time. I'm not too keen on throwing ragers in the house every weekend but wouldn't say no to heading out for a few bevs. Other interests include wine and netflix, fashion and styling, pretending I'm on an episode of MasterChef and cooking up a storm in the kitchen, and keeping fit (or at least attempting to do so). As I will be new to the city I'll also be out exploring a lot when I'm not working. If I'm the type of housemate you're looking for, feel free to hit me up! x
I'm a 25 year old Aussie girl moving from Hamilton Island at the end on January. I've been working in hospitality and travelling on and off for a few years and keen to settle in Melbourne for a while. I'm doing a full time course for 9 weeks starting in February but am able to support myself financially and after that I will be looking for full time work. I'm super friendly and easy going. Love a good banter and a few wines but also like my own company and space. In my own time you'll find me hanging out with friends or at the beach (yes I'm aware I won't be in the tropics anymore haha) I love painting and I'm pretty crafty. I'm looking for the some like minded people. Anything else you would like to know swing me a message! 😊
I would describe myself as friendly, calm, patient, clean and organised. I moved from France a bit more than a year ago and have been working as a software engineer in Collingwood since. My weekends are usually spent wandering in the wild doing photography or scuba-diving. I also recently got into skydiving, which means you might have a chance to suddenly inherit all my belongings!
Hi my names Reid I have recently moved from Brisbane to work in Melbourne. I'm great to live with because I am a very respectful and clean person. I also like to think I'm very friendly and communicative. The past 2 years I have been living in the Inner city of Brisbane paying 1000 dollars a month rent so I am very capable of paying my share. I also work full time.
My wife and I are very hard working people, reliable, clean and respectful. I'm a graphic designer and Illustrator and she's a baker, so there will be treats around every now and then. We're from Venezuela, so if you're clever you might learn some Spanish. We're usually working but when we want to relax beers, popcorns and netflix are our thing.
Hi! I work casually in retail and full time as a model with a top agency. I'm currently living with the parentals and would love to break free! Happy to set something up in regards to starting a share house or joining an existing one! Thanks :) Demi

Ideally the room has a bed, kitchen and post box, and is relatively clean. Please contact me if you are interested.
