Hi I'm Lauren and I'm from the UK on a working holiday visa! I'm a massive foodie so I love cooking and going out for brunch, and I also like going to the gym and keeping fit. I'm very tidy and respectful in share houses but would love to live with someone that wants to share some wine in the evenings and watch TV or go out for a couple of drinks or some food! Also, gin and tonics are my favourite so it's a bonus if anyone likes those! I'm hoping to stay here maybe 6 to 8 months and have a steady income from investment properties back home, although I'm getting a hospitality job as well. Let me know if there's anything else you want to know! :)
Hi, may name is Declan. I'm gay, 16 almost 17 I've been living out of home for around a year. I get Centrelink payments so I will always be able to pay rent on time. At the moment I live in point cook. I'm in year 10 attending point cook senior secondary collage. I have been excepted to attended Swinburne senior secondary collage next year; so I am looking for a place over that way. Perferebly close to a train station and along the lilydale line. I am bobbly, responsible and clean. I don't drink or do drugs, though I don't judge if you do. If your interested give me a message :)
I'm a teacher and also studying a postgrad in Counselling. I love reading, wine and sunglasses. I love a social house with mature people, I'm not looking to simply rent a room, I'm hoping to rent a home. I like coexisting beside people, wether that means we cook together and chat and hang out, or simply sitting on the same couch on our computers in silence grunting at the same Netflix binge. I have 12 years of share house experience, ranging from 8 people to only 2. I once even tried to live by myself, and that is the only experience that hasn't been a positive one! I'm fairly confideent in my co-habitating abilities.
Hi, I'm Jake from Charlotte, North Carolina, USA and I am on a working holiday visa. I've been traveling since August 2016 and have been in Australia since March 2017. I've traveled most of western Europe, Morocco, Israel, and Vietnam prior to coming to Australia. I've lived in Sydney and the Gold Coast and have now moved to Melbourne to spend the entire summer. I am looking for a lease at least until March 1, and maybe longer, as I am trying to stay in Australia permanently via a sponsorship or a work visa, and Melbourne already seems like a great place. I am a great roommate to have as I am clean, considerate, and respectful. I am social and active, and I will have a full time job while here in Melbourne. I enjoy working out at the gym, playing soccer, riding bicycle around Melbourne (yet to be purchased), THE BEACH, movies (of course), with the occasional night out on the weekend. I'm also a pretty good cook. I worked for Lion Nathan (XXXX/Tooheys) in Sydney for 4 months, and then got a more casual job at The Coffee Club in Gold Coast. Here in Melbourne, I will likely do construction work of some sort or work an office job. I am looking for jobs now, but I can ensure that I have no money issues as I worked for a large mortgage bank for many years back in North Carolina. Thanks and I look forward to meeting you.
I am 26 years old and female. Ive just moved to Melbourne from Perth for a full time job. I am a good humoured person that likes my alone time but am friendly and also like to go out and socialise. Super clean around the house, don’t smoke or take drugs. Do drink, although generally not to excess in the house. I would not want to feel uncomfortable to have some beers at home or pre drinks - but I am not going to throw an all night rager or anything like that! I am looking for a furnished room in the listed suburbs but am especially interested in St Kilda, CBD and South Melbourne. I would ideally like bills to be included and a good internet connection for netflix, Skype etc. I am open to negotiation and fiddling with the budget on that for the right place. I would like a month to month arrangement or three months max to start - just to be on the safe side. That said, if I am happy and you are happy, I am pleased to be in it for the long haul too. I am a 9-5 worker and pretty quiet through the week because I take work seriously. I would like to live with someone 20's/30's who is clean and respectful of space. I am happy for people to stay over (friends, boyfriends/girlfriends/family) as long as it is not so much they should basically be paying rent. I am not weird about people coming over or anything and want a housemate I can trust to make good decisions and who trusts me to do the same. Basically looking for true share environment where I am comfortable to use the space and don't feel like I need to hide in my room (and no one else in said environment feels that way either). Keen to move ASAP. Please get in touch if you think it would be a good match. Please no offers out of area. Thanks so much!
I'm Stefano, I'm from Milan and I'm a graduated student in economy. I'm clean and very friendly. I'm looking for a private or a shared room. Now I'm working like waiter in a restaurant and I'm looking for a second job in the morning or in the afternoon! I love going out with a friends and travel, in fact at the end of January I'll move to sidney for 2 months, after I'll stay one months in brisbane, one in Perth and the last one I would travel around Australia! :D
Hi, I am 39 but look and feel like I am still 28! I grew up in Canberra, but have travelled around Aus / Europe & USA for the last 19 years working in many interesting roles from recruitment, sales management, marketing etc and DJing on the side. I am from a large Italian/ Aussie family and although this is the first time I've lived in Melbourne its always felt like a second home to me as I've visited family here since I was a spring chicken. Started a full time sales job in Richmond last week and currently residing with a close friend in Heidelberg, so I am keen to move asap closer to the city / work. I have mostly shared flats with people over the last number of years and have never rarely had any issues with it, as I find its all about being respectful and reliable and a great way to meet new people and create friendships in a new city :) The type of people I tend to get along with the most organically are usually well travelled, interesting, healthy, have a good sense of humour and are creatives in music/ design. I am a fit, non smoker, single guy (no kids) with a good sense of humour and although I'm not a pancake expert, I do know a tosser when I see one!!!
Hi All, My name is Sam and I am moving to Melbourne for a new job. I am looking for chilled housemates who are always up for a laugh. I pay rent on time and I am very tidy - mainly because I don't have a lot of stuff. Looking to move in in either Mid December or early January. Feel free to give me a jingle if you have anything on offer. Cheers, Sam
Hey Guys, I'm looking for somewhere where I can set up shop with some rad individuals hopefully around the listed areas, but open to suggestions. Migrating from Brisbane 4+ years ago I am a pretty chilled out guy, big pet lover, Rugby fella with the addition of occasional sporadic furniture making, Friday afternoon drinks and my complied list of the best beer and burger combos in Melbourne (subjectively opinionated) and I am house trained so you can expect all the good stuff of a quality housemate. Currently working as a PM/Estimator (Mon-Fri) while looking to further myself within the electrical industry. I am always down for a hang or a cheeky pint and will often grab my camera and go on an adventure until I get lost But eventually find myself back home with some pretty wicked stories. I'd love to hear about you if you think I might be a good fit :) Good luck with the hunt!
I'm Will, I'm from the UK and before I came to Australia I was a furniture salesman. But like many people I was bored of my job and didn't want to spend this part of my life wasted in one place so I decided to pack up and start again. I'm looking for a place to stay in Melbourne as I'm really liking this city's wonderful weather, culture, variety of food and abundance of wifi. And hopefully make a few friends while I'm here =). I'm looking for a private room (with ideally a double/ queen size bed but it's not essential) as I do prefer a bit of personal sleeping space/ somewhere to relax by myself but will happily socialise with and spend time to get to know any future house/ flatmates and don't mind how many people are in the property (the more the merrier =D). I can move in (to the right place) as soon as you need. I think of myself as a pretty chill guy with an excellent sense of humour and a terrible attention span. I enjoy binge watching good TV, Netflix and Youtube videos (massive Game of Thrones fan of course XD), listening to good music, dank memes, socialising with friends i.e drinking, gaming (played a lot of League of Legends before I left... poorly I might add) and going out for meals, films etc. I used to do a lot of running and football and hopefully will get back into it soon, as my old job fattened me up a bit and I'm definitely in need of the exercise =P.
Hi! My name is Mia, I'm 25 years old, looking to move out by January 1st, 2018. I'm studying psychology and I work as a telephone counsellor at a 24/hr men's crisis and suicide intervention service in Footscray. Sounds stressful AF but the work is super rewarding and I actually really enjoy it! Self-care is integral to being a counsellor, so when I'm not working I love to write, cook, hike, read, watch trash 80s horror movies, and go to gigs. I'm not really into having massive drug-fueled house parties, but I am sociable and always up for the ole glass of wine + cheese platter + an episode of Bachie/Ru Paul's Drag Race combo :) If you are LGBT+ friendly, smoke-free, and looking for a female housemate in the areas of Hawthorn, Toorak, South Yarra, Richmond etc., then hmu, I love meeting new people! Yay!
