Hey future mates! I'm an easy going, open minded Norwegian girl moving to Adelaide the 2nd of february. I'm moving abroad to study and I'll be attending uni for at least two semesters. I respect others privacy, as I value personal space too. But I don't mind catching up with housemates over dinner, movies, or having a few beers once in a while. I also love to cook vegan food, if you're vegetarian/vegan that's a plus but no biggie if you're not.
Hey, I'm an outgoing and friendly guy, respectful, and reliable with rent and bills. I'm currently studying winemaking at Adelaide Uni and work at a pizzeria/wine bar in the city. #leftovers I like the idea of 'teaming up', but also open to joining a house. Looking to make a house a home :)
I’m 25 from the UK and will start studying in Adelaide from mid-February. As I’m an older student I would prefer to live with people closer to my own age and I’m looking for somewhere that will be fun and sociable but not a big ‘houseparty’ House. I’ve lived in houseshares in London and Sydney for the last 6 years so I am very used to house shares, being tidy and being respectful of other people’s space.
Hey :) I’m Siân, 24-year-old full-time student & part-time worker. I’m keen on renting somewhere in or close to the city & ideally a newly built house or apartment. Please note, my move date is March 11th (can probably go up to a week before this) but pretty firm on the date as I am on the lease for my current place and it's just not really logical for me to be paying 2 x rent :) My two main must-haves are an inside laundry (where you won’t be fighting off spiders just to do your washing) and whole house air-conditioner (I’m not one to always have the air-con on, but spending the last two summers in houses that don’t have any air conditioning at all has made me realise you really do need one for those 34 degree nights!). I am a vego/vegan but not bothered by what someone who lives with me eats! I’m super clean, love reading, binge-watching new Netflix shows and chilling out with some music. I’m someone who can’t sit at home all day, and I’m constantly out doing something. I have two jobs and in my spare time I volunteer as a coordinator with Sea Shepherd, I'm also a full-time Communications and Media student at UniSA. Would love to find someone who is easy going, easy to live with and doesn't mind their alone time. If this sounds like you, hit me up!
Hey guys! Swedish guy going to study a semester of my masters in adelaide this spring. Im a social guy looking to build a friendship with whomever I share with. Intrested in both smaller places with one or two other flatmates aswell as larger houses with maybe 5-7 people. Im basically up for anything with a roof :) Studying mechanical engineering and arriving in adelaide 10th of februari! Hit me up if you got something and we will have an amazing semester together! Cheers Einar
Experienced Flat Sharer, friendly and courteous. Reliable to pay everything on time, and keeping common areas clean. I’m out during the day almost all the time, usually home for dinner and happy to be social or respect peoples privacy.
I'm a 26 year old international student, studying my master's degree at University of Adelaide. I'm very friendly and easy to get along with, compassionate and responsible. I like a glass of wine/beer and a going out for a plant based meal, but I'm not a big clubbing party person. I love travelling, animals, live music, going hiking, and yoga. I'm from Denmark, but I've lived different places in the world, latest Scotland for the past 4 years. Non-smoker, clean and tidy, considerate and respectful of others. I'm looking for like-minded people to share a home and good times with.
Easy going, clean and tidy, positive vibes, kind and friendly, student and part time worker. Looking for a home (not a student share house) and housemates to have some chat and coffee/drinks every now and then :)
I'm friendly, fun and easy to get along with. Love playing sport and being outdoors. I'm reliable and clean, also an animal lover. Currently studying a bachelor of food and nutritional science at university, but also work part time at a craft brewery in mclaren vale.
I'm good with meeting new people and getting to know them more. Am the eldest brother to 3 younger sisters in Singapore, so I do work very well in an all female environment. I take full responsibility for the mess I make and ensure that I clean it all up after I'm done (cooking in the kitchen and also my mess from model makings, I'm an Architecture student) But trust me, I'll keep my mess as tidy as possible. I sing and play the ukulele occasionally just to cheer myself up and keep me busy. I'm currently back in Singapore for the Summer break and have no place to move back to when I come back in 23rd Feb 2018. I may be leaving again in the Winter break (but if rent is affordable and the room is comfortable for me, I'll be happy to continue my rent until the next summer break.) I have been living in Mile End/ Cowandilla area for about a year plus, and I still do wish to stay in this area if not, closer or in the city itself. Main reason is convenience and distance to UniSA City West Campus. If price is good and I am comfortable in the place, a year's bond is possible. I have my own single size mattress, a study table and a couple of shelves that I'd like to bring along into the room (furnished or not). My aus number is currently unavailable hence I can't be contacted via text.
Hi! I’m Tuesdaii. I’m 23 and looking for a warm, homely, social but quiet house to move into in or around Adelaide city. I spend a lot of my time catching up with friends and doing yoga, but plan on studying this year so will mostly be focusing on that and working part time. Keen to meet new people, and like forming relationships with the people I live with so that we become more than just acquaintances. I have lived in sharehouses for a few years now and so know what suits me in a share environment. After a somewhat decent sized room that has space for my bed, shoes and plants and potentially my yoga mat! I am a pretty chilled person but have initiative when it comes to pulling my weight. I am reliable, social, friendly and easy to get along with but also understand the importance of personal space. Would love to be able to occasionally have meals and a drink together to unwind after big days with whoever I live with. I am super flexible with moving dates as I’m mostly just really looking for somewhere that feels right; rent wise, location wise, house wise and people wise. If any of this sound appealing please get in touch! Tuesdaii
Hey guys, I'm 22 years old and work in hospitality. I've lived in my current share house for almost 3 years, with a few different housemates over that time. I'm thinking its now the right time to move a bit closer to the city, since i don't drive it will save me a lot of time and hassle. My lease officially ends late February but I'm hoping to move a week or two earlier so we wont have to rush and clean around furniture for the end of lease inspection. I'm generally a quiet person who enjoys reading and binge watching tv series, but I'm also friendly and mostly always up for a chat. If you think your house may be what I'm looking for, or if you have any questions feel free to message me :)
Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm looking for a house to share with positive and friendly people of any background, preferably all female or an even mix of female of male. Age of housemates isn't an issue for me. I get along with pretty much everyone. The closer to the city the better but I'm happy to commute for the right situation. About me: I am 34, clean, considerate of others and have a positive outlook on the world. I am independent, yet happy to hang out and chat with the people I live with. I'm a decent cook and happy to make and share a meal and a glass of wine with the people I live with. I dont smoke, I dont do drugs and only drink occasionally. I love music and going to see bands with friends. I enjoy hanging out at home watching movies or going out for a meal or coffee. I enjoy growing my own food and would love a veggie patch. I am a vegetarian and I also look forwards to joining a community garden in the area I live. I currently work for my families café doing bookwork, graphics and advertising. However I am also looking for more work and perhaps some study. I love animals so pets are great and I'm happy to walk dogs etc. I do have a cat who I would like to bring to Adelaide. However she is very happy living in the country with my family so I will only bring her if I have the right house for her. So i am flexible on this option. Budget wise I am looking for somewhere around $150 a week without bills or $180 with bills included. I am living in Adelaide part time but am looking forwards to being in Adelaide full time once I have a house. Please contact me if you think I would suit your house. Thanks
My name is Jaieyre, I am 25, Adelaide born and bred, lived in many share houses so I know the drill. I think keeping a nice, tidy communal space and respecting each other is important. I like a nice, chilled happy household. I am not anal about cleaning, but I think cleaning up after yourself in a share house is a must (otherwise it descends into madness!) I enjoy cooking, music, reading, video games, going out and talking shit. Planning on studying at uni this year, have a part time job and I am also looking for bar work as well. I have worked in hospitality for many years, and like to think I am an OK cook. I prefer healthy, cheap, nutritious meals (yes it can be done!) and I like to share food with the people I live with if possible. Looking to start a garden or at least grow some herbs, I am over spending so much money on vegetables and herbs that are so easy to grow. Does not need to be a huge endeavour, can just be a couple of pot plants but we can beef it up and have half our food grown quite easily. I am tidy, respectful and pretty quite most of the time. I will spend most of my time in my room studying, reading or playing games/music. I am quite chatty, but only when comfortable with the people I am around. I don't care if you have people round, or if you are noisy as long as it is within reason. Online profiles suck, and reading this back I sound like an uptight nerd, which I am not I promise, get back to me and lets meet up for a coffee to see if we gel!
I'm a clean and tidy housemate. I enjoy my own space and respect others. Happy to do my part around the house without reminders. I enjoy an arvo beer or wine and a chat. I am not a crazed sports supporter but will hang out to watch to be social. I own a lovely 8yr old cat who is fully housetrained so no stinky litter box required. Fully vaccinated, no fleas etc. He keeps to himself and is pleased to be left alone too but loves a scratch under the chin. As a full time chef I'm usually pretty tired! I ride my bike to work to stay fit. I enjoy a hit of tennis, fishing, gardening and anything outdoorsy. Currently I am studying business management in my spare time so I do like a fairly quiet environment. Im not a night owl and need my sleep! Warning: I do nap 😂 So feel free to SMS me with pictures or ideas to team up. Preferably no more than 3 housemates and definitely no other pets. ✌️
-I'm a music teacher, Disability support worker and own my own vintage clothing business. -Love nights in with games, wines and lots of food (I'm vegetarian and love to cook) but also like to have the very occasional party or gathering. Also like time to myself as I'm very busy creative type. -Am open minded, accepting ,clean and easy to get a long with. -Ideally I'd like a place with lots of space, cat free (they trigger my asthma) and a homely vibe with housemates I get a long well with.
Hey I'm looking for a chilled, comfortable place to move In to. I am in my late 20's and work full time in construction. I like scuba diving, going riding on my motorbike and hanging out with my mates whenever I get the chance. I'm not looking for a party house but wouldn't mind living with someone I can hang out with.
Hi there, My name is Alex. My girlfriend and I (both from Venezuela) are moving to Adelaide on the 20th of January from Brisbane. I've been living in Australia since 2014 (Brisbane) and my girlfriend since 2016 (Brisbane as well). I'm gonna start a motor mechanic course in TAFE SA. That's the reason why we are moving there. This is gonna be a big change for us. Many people have told us that Adelaide is a small but spectacular city. That's why we are so exited about this new adventure. We will be living there for at least 2 years (my student Visa is until 2020) and we wanna find a very good place to live no far from city and the TAFE Campus (Regency PARK). We really like have our privacy and in case we are sharing house we prefer 1 or 2 people to share with. Most of the time we are not at home. Usually we are working or studying but when we have free time we really enjoy staying at home watching movies and resting. We are very easy going but definitely not party people. If our profile likes you, please do not hesitate to ask me or my girlfriend more questions if you need. Thanks in advance and hope you have a good one.
Hi people :) I'm looking for somewhere to chill (sleep, study and hang out) while studying at TAFE College of the Arts full time ( I got in!) and a University foundation Course. I'm down-to Earth, tidy and hygienic, I'll keep to myself and I will be pretty busy with TAFE etc and hopefully a part time job!!, so I won't be at home all the time, but, I am friendly and like to chat with house mates while still being respectful of others privacy of course. I have lived in Waikerie, in the Riverland for the last 5 years and even though I am young I have lived with a few different people and have learned that communication is vital to any relationship, so I highly value respect, and honesty, and appreciate boundaries being made right away (to be honest, it's just that I want to live with people that have commons sense and are respectful). I have had problems with a best 'friend' breaking my boundaries and treating me disrespectfully when living with them and I have learned from that and become stronger. I am a part of LGBT+ community (I'm Bi/pan and gender neutral at times, although identify as fem) and so of course am not judgmental/negative of things like that and I am also body positive and can't handle living with people who are constantly negative i.e my Grandmother ahah. We need to lift each other up, not bring people down! I also believe in equality for all and hate bullying obvs. I am a vegetarian and have to eat GF and dairy/lactose free and hope to pick up some hobbies while in Adelaide such as going to the gym, photography, dancing (?) also, possibly paintball/gun-ranging etc. I am also a fangirl (Dr Who, Harry Potter, Marvel/DC, manga/anime and some TV shows especially ones on NETFLIX!, so, if we live together and have commonalities it'd be cool to watch and discuss episodes together if y'all like and you may see some cool merchandise X,D) . I'm creative and musical (mostly singing, so I'll need to practice at home sometimes) and may want to get a keyboard and sound recording equipment in my room/somewhere eventually, but if that's an issue, we could work that out as I DEFINITELY appreciate quiet as well. I've lived with rowdy siblings/loud family for most of my life so I really do appreciate the quiet!! Oh, I love! cats but am slightly allergic/sensitive to long haired cats (I think XD; I get sinus from them if they, for example sleep on my pillow or if i pet them for too long), so basically as long as cats aren't in my room and the home gets vacuumed regularly I'm alright with cats :) and I'm also asthmatic so no smoking inside please. I cannot wait to finally be studying something which I'm interested in and hopefully be surrounded by a positive environment! I hope I find the right share house for me. Have a good day :') Toodles~
