Hello! I am a young professional from Scandinavia. I am going to be working here with retail for the next 6 months and looking for a modern room to move into. I am extremely tidy and I appreciate a clean home. I consider myself a minimalist, so I won't be bringing a lot of stuff with me. I am looking to share a home with people with positive energy. Despite my young age, you shouldn't expect a lot of partying from me. I prefer to wake up early and start my day at the gym. My other interests include interior design, fashion and cooking! :)
I'm 31 and currently work as a senior analyst in tech. I'd say I'm a very laid back, easy going person and I like to live with relaxed, positive people who don't take themselves too seriously. I'm not a fan of conflict/BS so I prefer to live with people who are open and happy to chat if any issues do arise. Id say I have a pretty balanced lifestyle and in my spare time I get outside whenever I can, love going to the beach, yoga-ing (yeah, that's not a real word I know), music, reading, cooking, the usual - pretty much just like keeping busy, having fun with mates and relaxing when I'm home. I like to live with people who keep the place neat and tidy but I'm definitely not OCD with it and would prefer the same in housemates. I enjoy going out on the weekend, but I'm more of a keep the party at the bar person. I tend to work pretty hard so I like to have relaxed weeknights when I'm home. I like having people over from time to time, but if you're a massive entertainer in the week, I may not be your best bet. Would like to live with friendly people who I get along with and can share a meal/couch hang with on occasion, but who are independent and also happy to do their own thing. Hope to hear from you and shout if you have any more questions :) Ash
Hello, my name is Charlotte! I am a 18 year old looking for a clean, quiet and comfortable home. I have lived in share house before and I understand what needs to be done to maintain a happy and clean home and environment. I am not after a party home. I always pay my bills on time and am financially stable. I am currently working 5 jobs. I work at cattery (cat motel), am a dog walker, a reptile handler, baby sitter and also an exotic dancer. Due to all of my jobs, I am a very busy person. I do come home at late hours after work (2am-7am) so you will have to take that into consideration if you decide to message me. In saying this though I make sure that I am quiet when I arrive/if I move about. Since I get home at such late hours, I usually wake up at about 1pm, go to work come back at 6pm then go out for work again. I do have Sundays and part of Monday off so I like to relax at home on these days. I am looking for a housemate/housemates that I can occasionally have a drink with, talk to, share meals or watch a movie with. I am a vegetarian and love to make currys, pasta and random delicious concoctions. I also make waaaay too much so I tend to freeze the leftovers or share it (: My ideal home would be clean, close to public transport (70/75 trams, train stations), and have a calm but happy vibe. I am looking for a room which is ideally 3mx4m or larger and has an ensuite. I am currently looking in Toorak, South Yarra, Hawthorn, Richmond (close to bridge road), Burnley, Camberwell, Carlton, Southbank and possibly surrounding suburbs. I am a very clean person. I always clean up after myself when I cook (I don't leave dishes in the sink). I enjoy rosters which rotate the chores each week to maintain a clean and happy home. I am looking for a housemate/housemates who are the same.
I'm looking for a place to call home in the inner suburbs, ideally near the Cranbourne/Pakenham train line, but will definitely consider another location if the place is right. I'd love to find a couple of housemates that share my values and interests, somewhere we can build a cozy home and enjoy everything Melbourne has to offer. I love cooking, gardening, pets, caping, running, and building things... always up for an adventure. I'm respectful of personal space, but ultimately love sharing these experiences. So I'll probably bully you into letting me cook for you. I work full time as an engineer, so i'm out of the house from 8-6. I also travel interstate for work once a month, so I wont be taking up space for ~1 week out of the month. I'm LGBQTI friendly and open to all lifestyles, well travelled, and always up for a casual drink and banter. Shoot me a message if you think we might be a fit :) Alex
Hi there! I'm Mike (31) working professional, relocating from Sydney where I've had flatmates or hosted friends in times of need. With the relocation, I'm looking to enjoy a social element with those I live with as I know only a few people in Melbourne. And very much looking forward to exploring the 'culture capital'. I am a people person, but respectful of others privacy & property. Enjoy sports, fitness & well-being activities, biz meet ups, and spending time on some side projects as well. I'm clean, reliable, out going and independent. Will be in Melbourne every couple of weeks prior to the move, so I'm also happy to catch up and ensure the fit is right for the housemate(s).
Hey there! I'm Chris. 30 year old kiwi, been living in Melbourne for 2 years now. I work 9-5 in St Kilda as an Area Sales/Account Manager. Being a kiwi, I'm pretty laid back and drama free, tidy, respectful of others and their space.. Standard stuff really after flatting/house sharing for 10 years! Looking for a new place to call home, happy to sign on a lease. I own all bedroom furniture etc so looking for an unfurnished room :) Looking for like minded people to live with, maybe share a meal or beer with too heading into summer! Weekends are a mix of sport (watching) exploring Victoria, gym, socialising, netflix and sleep! Pretty flexible weeknight schedule, hit me up and we can make a visiting time work for me to drive to ya! Cheers
Hi, I am mid 30s professional working in events and marketing/advertising. I am friendly and personable, get along with everyone, pretty compassionate, have a positive outlook on life. I am a very busy human and I work long hours but love to rest. I travel a lot for work but also enjoy a bit of home time every now and then. I have an amazing, docile, beautiful and beyond well training Greyhound who just wants cuddles and to sleep. Everyone falls in love with him. I think it important to be comfortable with the people you live. It is important to contribute to a clean shared space and be respectful of each other, habits, sleeping patterns and lifestyles.
21 year old student at University of Melbourne. Social and outgoing, working mostly nights in hospitality. Interested in music, sports (footy and NBA), and travel.
Hi! I run my own business and just moved here from Perth for work, have lived in NZ, Canada & USA! I can keep myself entertained but also enjoy a social dinner and wine or 3.
I can clean and cook. My hobbies are cosplay and anime. I'm Japanese and I'm from the Gold Coast. I am also an undergraduate uni student Would like an ALL FEMALE place.
I'm small, sassy and sparkly ✨ I work 4 days a week in a government contact centre while completing my Master in Publishing and Communications. I love books! Talk books to me. I have a huge collection that I love to share around with friends and I love anything book-related. I practise yoga at home regularly, and I've recently got into running and try to do semi-regular races, with my first 10k coming up in December. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week and I really value my health and fitness in general :) I also love dogs (especially greyhounds), Netflix, dumplings and red wine. I'm looking for a cosy home with a decent-sized bedroom so I can practise yoga in the mornings. I work in the city and study in Parkville so being central is important to me - I don't have a car so want to be close to a train station ideally. I'm pretty busy and don't spend all that much time at home but when I do I'll probably be in my room or chilling on the couch with a book/Netflix, cooking up something tasty or having a couple of glasses of wine with a friend. I like my home to be a relaxing space. I love to get dressed up, go out and have a crazy time but I don't like to bring the party home with me, so I'm not looking for a party house. I also value my alone time a whole lot and personal space is important to me. I've lived in sharehouses all my adult life so I know the drill. I'm tidy and quite clean, especially if there's some kind of roster in place. I like a clean kitchen and neat communal spaces. I've lived in my current place for 3+ years and I love it but the rent is going up and I’d like to be closer to the city. Hit me up if you think I'd work for your home!
Hey! My name is Salvatore (Salva), I'm from Chile and I' ve arrived in Melbourne on September 28 with a Working Holiday visa. About me! I am 26 years old and i'm a very easy going guy. I have a high sense of freedom and independence. I'm not a clean maniac, however i could define me as clean and tidy, with the habit of cleaning after myself. I love traveling (I went backpacking in South America 3 times), meeting other people and learning about other cultures. I like deep conversations and laughing at simple and idiotic things. If it's with the company of a glass of wine or beer, the better. Last but not least, I am an advertising executive by profession. I worked for more than a year in a TV channel in Chile as a Creative Copywriter. I'm planning to find a full time job, could be in my professional area or other (hospitality). I'm an open and respectful soul.

If Im not at home watching Netflix ill be on a long Adventurous walk! looking forward to finding a wonderful temp fam bam.
I have been living in Melbourne for about 7 years and completed a Product Design Engineering degree. Originally I was a Gippslander and get back there from time to time to see family and friends. I have recently spent 5 months traveling through Europe and have gone straight back into working my full time job in the city. I'd ideally like to live a bit closer to the city this time around so that it's an easier transit to work. I have a lot of experience living in share houses. I am a respectful, clean and organized person. I have been told that I am mature for my age and pretty easy going. I am easy to communicate with and have a busy social life. I like to be around people but also am happy to do my own thing as i have many hobbies. My hobbies include music production (with my headphones on), photography, skating, and design. I work full time and can back myself financially. I'm also pretty handy on the tools if anything needs fixing! I am also a lover of all animals.
25, looking for an unfurnished room in a share house. A bit about me: I’m a graphic designer from the south eastern suburbs. I work 9-5 in East Melbourne. I do dance classes and gym classes some nights during the week. In my down time, I like to have a few wines while listening to music, read, watch movies, do some crafty activities and a little yoga. I really love discovering and sharing music with friends and chatting about entertaining movies/tv shows. I also enjoy a good boogie at the occasional nightclub and festival. Super enthusiastic about brunch. I like to help keep communal areas tidy and am respectful of people’s space. No cat people please, I’m allergic.
I'm a student in Melbourne. I'm 36 years old and i'm from Brazil and I'm good person, organised and I appreciate good conversation and I like games. I'm not smoking.
Recently graduated and begun working full time 9-5 in St Kilda, so looking for a place near there. Grew up in Melbourne but "lived" in the Netherlands for the last 8 months so have experience (short but still) sharing a space with others. I'm clean, friendly, respectful of privacy but also very laid back, I'm not bothered by a few dishes and I'm willing to share food/most things etc. Very flexible, not fussed about your schedule, and usually down for a drink (or 10) and a chat about the meaning of life
Hi, I'm Luke and this is my fourth year in Melbourne. I'm a musician and teacher full-time, working in schools, theatres, and in touring groups. I am very easygoing, pun compulsively, pull my weight around the place, and enjoy laughing a lot. I enjoy spending time with mates, reading, and napping as much as work allows (mostly more work than nap).
Hey there, I’m a professional guy who’s looking a good place for long term either short term. I am into outdoors, rd trips, exploring new things and places. Music is therapeutic for me and I’ m always down for a good meal, cooking or TV/Netflix with housemates. I am a tidy person and someone who loves to keep everything clean after myself. I’m very respectful, reasonably private but social, always happy for a chat but not a party person. I come with a car so off-street parking is a bonus otherwise on-street is just fine. I want to have a nice cozy room and chill place to come home to each night. Happy to pay upfront rent for a good place. Don’t hesitate for further chat. Best regards,
I'm easy going and can talk about anything. I don't take myself too seriously though value doing a good job of things and being reasonable and respectful. I'm clean and tidy and don't leave a foot print (so to speak). I'm most often away at work (I'm involved in clinical therapy) and at the gym and attending other social/volunteer work events. I'm very independent and also mindful of other people's space. I also have a robust sense of humour which can be important for creating good vibes :) I'm also quite flexible with the length of stay - just thought that 6 months might be a good length of time to start on. I'm also very pet friendly in case you have pets. I have a car, so prefer somewhere that has some kind of parking available. I'm open to living with someone who is able to communicate well (enough), is mindful of space, and who values good sleep. Being health-conscious would be a bonus. The only reason why I'm not taking out my own lease is due to the time limitation with my current vacate date. Feel free to ask me any questions
Hi I’m Victor, 24, Finance professional working full time, I also teach group fitness and play tennis in my spare time. I normally work 9 to 6 but also have some early mornings or late nights depending on my work and also study commitments. I’m clean, polite and happy to do my fair share of housework.
