Hey I'm Brodie! I'm a super easy going Canadian gal who has been living in Melbourne since January working full time in fashion design! I'm looking for a comfy place to call home, and a roommate who feels the same way. Preferably furnished since I don't have anything with me, but can manage to furnish my own room if need be. I am really clean, tidy, and laid back, and would love a roommate to have the occasional dinner/ glass of wine / chat/ boogie with. I want us to get along and be friendly but I am also respectful of personal space. For fun I love going for brunch (who doesn't), chugging wine (who doesn't), Netflix binging (who doesn't) and trying out all the amazing restaurants and cafes this city has to offer. Also would be ideal if we could motivate each other to work out once in a while... or not. Drop me a line and lets make this house a home!
Hello! I'm Sarah, I'm a full time Arts/Law student at Monash and I work part time at a cafe. I moved to Melbourne from Queensland 2 and a half years ago and I love good food, hanging out with friends, making and looking at art and photography, going to gigs and generally adventuring around Melbourne! I come with a little indoor cat named Frida who will love you instantly and a family of indoor plants. I also have a washing machine, fridge, microwave, a couple of TVs and a speaker system if your household needs them! I've been living out of home for 4 years so I know how to look after myself, be respectful of a shared space, communicate well about household stuff, pay rent and bills on time and all that jazz. I'm looking for a room in a sharehouse, not fussed about gender but looking for people I can be friendly with rather than just cohabiting a space with, as I’ve remained friends with many of my past housemates after moving out. I love having a chat and a drink w housemates at the end of the day but also appreciative and respectful of downtime/personal boundaries. Happy to provide references upon request. Let me know if you think you've got a spot for me!
Hi! I am very clean, reliable and respectful. I always pay my bills on time and clean up after myself. Looking for a place close to public transport and the city! I am currently working five jobs. I am a reptile handler, a bartender, a dog walker, animal attendant and I baby sit. I do up to 60 hours of work per week and have a solid income. I am also at Lady of Gowrie, studying childcare. I enjoy watching Netflix, eating uber eats, having a laugh, dancing, singing, music, food, going out, sleeping and just having fun! That being said, I am not after a party house and looking for a home with a calm environment. I am a vegetarian and know how to make numerous delicious meals. I usually make waaayyy too much and don't mind sharing! ((: I have lived in multiple homes/share houses which were only short term, now I am looking for a place to call home for the long term. I have to move out of my current house by the end of this month as the owners will be coming back (house sitting). I'm looking for likeminded people who are fun, reliable, clean and understanding. Stay length is flexible but minimum of 3 months! ☺️
I completed a Bachelor of Arts (psychology/philosophy) & Bachelor of Science (Developmental Biology/Molecular Biology) at Monash in 2017. I have recently come back from Germany where I did an internship at the European Molecular Biology Laboratory. I am soon starting part-time work at a lab. I'm also doing a 6-month visual arts course at RMIT - I'm working on a creative project with a friend. I like visiting art galleries, museums, biking, hiking, reading, travelling, film festivals, classical music concerts, electronic music concerts. Don't mind a drink once in a while. Perks: I'm flexible with move in date. I'm very clean, and like to have a routine (e.g. vacuum & laundry every Sunday). I cook delicious Mediterranean food and make awesome salad combos (I'm vegetarian). I don't watch TV and like to keep myself busy so I'm quiet. I'm a book nerd, and so I come with a small library (mostly philosophy & literature classics). I don't own any pets. I'm respectful and try to be non-judgemental, but I also expect cleanliness and safety at home. I like putting an effort in making a place feel like home (candles/incense, pot plants, etc) - but if you prefer I keep this to myself, happy to do so. Also, I don't need a car space! About you: Clean & tidy. Able to give me my space and allow me to feel at home. I love animals so I don't mind pets, but routine hygiene care is a minimum. Also a student or working professional. Sorry don't want to live with backpackers, but don't mind living with international students/expats. Also duration is minimum 5 months. I can work around something less than 12!
Hello! My name is Tennessee. I’m 19 years old and I’ve been living in sunny St Kilda after moving to Melbourne from Sydney back in January. I am looking for somewhere to live where I can feel at home. I am clean, respectful and a friendly person to live with. I am working starting a career in acting, auditioning for various film and stage productions. In the meantime, I work full-time in hospitality to pay he bills. Other interests include music, exercise, cooking and exploring this wonderful city. Hope to be living with you soon :)
Hi I'm Callum. I'm 19 years old, studying Law and working in a Law firm. I study one day a week (thanks to the best timetable organisation ever) and work part-time. I like chilling out at home with friends, grabbing a drink and going out to gigs, bars and clubs. I'm extremely sociable and always keen to chat, chill out and even head out with my roommates or their friends. I'm easy going and will go with the flow as long as you're respectful and relatively tidy in return. I will do my fair share of help around the place, always pay rent and bills on time and will keep quiet if need be.
Hey! I'm looking to share a place within 500m of a train station and a Coles/Woolies. I work full-time as a consultant, mostly in the CBD, but sometimes interstate (place will be all yours while I'm away!). Outside of work I like cycling, travel, and anything food related (including pub trivia over dinner). I am cool with sharing drinks/meals/dad jokes, but also like some alone time every now and then. Shoot me a message!
Hi there everyone, My Name is Jonny and I am looking to join some fun and sociable people! I am preferably looking to live in Richmond/South Yarra/Prahran/Windsor block (mainly due to work) but am also open to Toorak/Armadale/St Kilda/St Kilda East/Balaclava/Ripponlea/Abbotsford. In regards to myself, I am a 25 year old full time teacher at Haileybury and normally throughout the week am pre-occupied with work. However, whilst I sometimes love just having some chilled time I love being social whether it just be having a chat and watching TV at the end of the day or having some drinks on a Friday night and heading out. I am very active and love to go out and do things and like to stay very fit and (try) to eat well. Love eating out and footy (Crows fan). Love to get involved in a Tv series with some housemates (I am big on drag race). I am very cleanly and tend to be extremely house proud and like to have a nice interiors. Date wise, I am looking to move in anytime between August 15 and September 19, but am flexible. Hope to hear from you, Jonny
Hi I recently graduated and begun working full time 9-5 in St Kilda, so looking for a place near there. Grew up in Melbourne but just got back from living abroad for 8 months so have experience (short but still) sharing a space with others. I'm clean, friendly, respectful of privacy but also very laid back, I'm not bothered by a few dishes and I'm willing to share food/everything etc :)
Hello, Looking for a place to live whilst I finish my final semester at RMIT. I study and work in Communications, as well as a bit of music and dance performance on the side. I'm a real creative person, and would describe myself as an introvert, although I'm super open and happy to chat to anyone about anything. I'm into current events, ted talks, classic rock, electronic music, playing guitar and singing. I love keeping fit and going to gym everyday... So an occasional gym buddy would be a bonus! I'm tolerant and aware of personal space, noise and keeping things looking tidy. I'm also hoping to find a place that's close to a main street and train station.
My current lease is up, and I'm looking for a chill place to live for at least a year, maybe longer if my contract gets extended. I'm easy to get a long with, and I'm a social flatmate-maybe sharing dinner or having a chat over coffee, or maybe even going for some drinks. However I also respect people's space, and understand if you're wanting to spend time alone. I'm pretty quiet during the week, I work and study. On weekends you can find me at the beach, doing something outside, or catching up with friends.
Hey! My name is Laura and I am 20 years old, originally from Tasmania and am studying full time at Monash University. I am extremely social and bubbly with a generally positive personality. In my spare time I read, go shopping, catch up with friends for lunch and am always up for a fun night out. I am a huge lover of horror movies and music from the 1990s and beforehand, so you may hear anything from Elvis Presley to Nirvana coming from my room. I'm very respectful of other peoples' space and always clean up after myself. I have experience with living in a share house and understand the importance of living in a nice and tidy environment. I am someone who loves to go out with friends and maybe share a drink or two, but am not one to make a lot of noise if I’m home late. Feel free to contact me if you're interested!
21 year old student at University of Melbourne. Social and outgoing, working mostly nights in hospitality. Interested in music, sports (footy and NBA), and travel.
I'm Canadian, but I've been living in Melbourne for 4 years. I'm extremely tidy, and request others be the same. My background is in Finance and Law, and I currently work full time for a software company with a few side projects on the go. Generally I split my time 50/50 working from home and the office - so I won't get in the way of other activities in the house. But that being said, I do need a house that is relatively peaceful. While I enjoy a nice dinner party, I do not want to live in a party house. I'm an early morning person - generally in the office before most people are awake so I can be home by early afternoon to relax when the day allows. I like to cook when I have the time, so a good kitchen would be great. Looking for a house/flat share, preferably with only 1 other person, and preferably a working professional. Or also a team up - I have enough furniture to furnish the place too. My current apartment has a spare bedroom which we use for storage, and also a spare double bed I have so guests/friends can stay over when needed. It would be great to have a spare bedroom again though it's not mandatory. I'm looking for a move date closer to the end of October but can be flexible.
Hi!! I'm a Brazilian student, 30 years, that has just arrived in Melbourne to stay around for a year. I'm looking for a private room, furnished, for 200 dollars maximum weekly rent.
Hi potential housemate! I am an international student from Singapore. I will be starting my undergraduate in Film and Television Production in September. I love coffee, movies, music, photography and all types of art. I am friendly, chill, easy going, neat and open to other cultures. I am sociable, happy to hang out during my free time but also respect people's privacy (I undestand everyone likes their alone time) :)
Hey! I’m Faiz, 27 y/o professional, moved to Melbourne in early 2013 and absolutely love this place and decided to go permanent. Currently living near peninsula but time to move out now because of work and possible future studies at uni. Looking for somewhere chilled during the week but social on the weekends. I work full time in Automatics Production and a mechanic by trade (used to work for Holden Special Vehicles until they shutdown last year) , so generally I work 7-4, sometimes 6-4, which means I tend to be quite low key during the week. I wake up pretty early for work so I will make sure not to make any noise and disturb others as I have been doing in the past. I am into outdoors, rd trips, hiking/camping and sports. Music is therapeutic for me and I am always down for a good meal, drinks or TV/Netflix with housemates. I’ve lived out of Home for more than 5 years now so I understand how to be respectful of others id be sharing a house with. I come with a car so off-street parking is a bonus otherwise on-street is just fine. Self learning how to play guitar and German language these days. Ideally looking to move into somewhere that’s going to be my new home and live with people that I can be good friends with. If I sound like a good fit then please contact me so we can have a little chat and to arrange an inspection/meetup and see how it goes. Cheers!
I'm an Aussie and Caroline is from Sweden. We've been together for almost 2 years and love travelling. We're both into film and photography. I'm a bartender and work around 40 hours a week and Caroline is part time studying and working at an Ice cream shop in Brunswick. We're looking for our own place because getting a train an hour into the city is getting too much now. We're looking for a cosy place to call home for almost a year before we go overseas in May 2019 again. We're tidy, fun, always up for a drink and love a good move on the couch. And if we're allowed, we have a guinea pig called Dexter we'd like to bring.
Hi everyone! I'm searching for a private room in north sydney area and surroundings, own bathroom preferred but not essential I'm clean and tidy searching for a place where i can have my privacy but also enjoy a chat/glas of wine now and then with my housemates I'm currently working and studying and going to the gym on my free time so i won't be around much during the day Feel free to contact me for any question :)
I work full-time in South Melbourne so ideally I'd like to find something close to work. I'm quiet, respectful, tidy & friendly. I feel that the place you live in should be a comfortable, warm sanctuary to come home to, and I will respect your space and your privacy. Though I'm naturally quiet, I like having people around to talk to. I hate the idea of coming home to an empty house. I also love gardening, so I'm happy to do any and all of the garden maintenance. I have a little furniture and my own car, so I'm looking for a house-share, hopefully with a car space or permit parking. My preferred date to move is around mid-July but I am flexible. Ideally I'd like to have found somewhere by start of August. I'm not sure what else to add, so if you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
Hey I've recently moved to Melb, and am working full time in the city! I am looking for short term accommodation from July 20, probably for around 3 months. I dont have any furniture, so somewhere with furniture would be ideal, and happy to pay extra for an ensuite. Unlimited Wifi would be preferred too. I work 10-6 Monday-Friday, and head to as much live sport and live music, live theatre as possible over the weekends, so am rarely home.
I'm an engineer originally from WA but have been in Melbourne just over a year now. I've been living on my own since i moved here and am looking to move somewhere a little bigger with some great people! I work fairly long hours but outside of work I am still trying to get out and explore Melbourne when I can and most weekends you'll find me at the G or at my local watching my demons play. Looking for a room or to team up!
