We are both from Ireland just arrived in Australia in mid May. We are very social and friendly but aren’t party animals. Tidy and respectful. Would love to have flatmates to have a few drinks with in the evenings and go out and about with the odd time! Both sorting work at the moment but will likely be doing Monday-Friday jobs.
Hi! I'm Duygu. I currently work as a flight attendant in Turkey in a big company. I lived in Mel for 3 months, I was also going to English school to make my English a bit better. Then I came back to my job but I couldn't keep myself away from Australia, now I'm coming back around July to study Bachelor of Cookery. It's going to be 3 years if everything goes well. When I move out from here, I'm going to leave my 2 cats in my hometown with my parents. So future flatmates; Pets are more than OK for me! I can take a dog out for a walk and I'd love to take care of your pets as mine , I also love gardening. I'm cheerful, friendly, outgoing, open-minded. I like partying , movie nights, watching TV-series, camping, going for a ride with my motorbike, grabbing a glass of wine or beer and chill sometimes..Not a 24 hours party animal but I like meeting with new people, chatting, sharing thoughts, funny stories, dancing, attending gigs as much as I like studying, chilling at home, going to gym, practising new things such as cooking, poi, slackline and else. I do respect other's life and spaces. But I wanna be more than just "Hi!- Bye!" kinda flatmates. I'm looking for a place as a private room. I may also consider a teamup as I will stay in Aus more than 3 years. Cheers!
**We are looking for a house/room from June 23rd until August 4th in between house sits. We are both tidy, respectful and social people. Having lived in share houses for many years, we know the ins and outs of how to keep a happy and clean house. We both work full time Monday-Friday so stay reasonsbly quiet weeknights however we are very social on weekends - exploring all Melbourne has to offer. We are preferably looking around St Kilda/elsternwick/elwood/Brighton as I teach at a school further around the coast, however, would be happy to live in the CBD as we are reasonably new to Melbourne and would enjoy the lifestyle for this short period of time. We are always on time with bills and rent and do our part around the house to ensure the household runs smoothly. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. Cheers, Luca
Working full time in the automotive industry. Respectful, tidy and mostly quiet professional, but also happy to be social rather than just hide away. Would need an off-street parking space, preferably secure, for a car and potentially motorbike as well.
I am fun and social but do like and respect privacy. I am a competitive athlete so I'm pretty healthy (but am not opposed to the occasional binge). Always down for a Netflix and wine session :) Preferably looking for a female around my age, but this is not a must.
Finished my engineering degree from RMIT and going to study MBA in July after a few years while working part time. I’m a respectful person and love to share my meals and a glass of wine when I am home. Looking for a place that I can call home rather than living in a place.
Organised, laid back, and tidy. Home cooked meals and regular exercise are important to me. I’m currently working part-time and studying full-time. I come with a cute little chihuahua/ jack russell (boy). I'll always contribute to grocery shopping and to any repairs that need to be done around the house. I can also contribute the following to any household I join: - large dining table - medium sized silver shag rug - crockeries & cutleries - small coffee table - medium size mirror - large vintage chair - (idk how else to describe it) *Preferably an unfurnished room as I have my own stuff* Being near a tram/train stop is vital for my work commitments. I love having friends over and doing some occasional gathering (would seek your opinion first tho ofc). However, I respect your alone time and your own space as well as tidying up after myself, and generally expect the same from you. Love watching tv shows and would make you watch horror movies with me. Definetly will treat you as a friend rather than a housemate. I'm very interested in teaming up with a group of people or joining an existing household, but NO COUPLES pls and preferably people under 33.
I am from Sweden and study at university in Miami, USA. I will be in Melbourne until November for an exchange semester at Monash University where I will study business. I am a pretty laid-back person and love to joke around. Currently I am a sushi chef which I am hoping to continue in Melbourne. In my free-time I enjoy going out to clubs and bars and I aspire to learn surfing. I like doing anything outdoors particularly mountain-biking, going to the beach, hiking in nature, and working out. Moreover I enjoy cooking and always keep my spaces clean. I am hoping to find some people (preferably guys) close to my age who would be down to go biking in the forest etc. as well out for drinks on a Friday.
My name is Kristy, I'm a designer, moving to Melbourne for a fantastic new job, arriving on June 4th. I'm a quiet, considerate and relatively tidy person, who has TWO PETS. a super affectionate 9yo Alaskan Malamute, named Kaiser and a 13yo cat called Toby. Kaiser needs a grassed secure backyard and would be fine with a medium to large size dog but no other cats. Other than that I'm pretty flexible with a shared bathroom, and suburb as long as it's close to a train that leads to Southern Cross Train Station, and a decent area. I like to take my dog out on weekends and I study part time so I tend to keep busy. I just want to live with an animal lover foremost and easy going friendly people. I have lived with a housemate who is now a great friend of mine. I'm available for property viewings from Tuesday 5th June onwards. My new job starts on June 18th so I'm hoping to find a great place before then.
Looking for a room preferably in a 2 room apartment... I'm very easy to get along with and try to avoid conflict at all times. I like to keep fit during the week and do a bit of interstate travelling for work. I can quite easily keep to myself and socialise with who I'm living with when appropriate. Looking for like minded people that are settled and not looking to party every night
Hi! I’m looking to move first week of June. Ideally, I want a decent space for the room, and my own bathroom. I’m working full time in the city, 5-6 days so I’m pretty busy. I’m looking for a place which is ideally close to public transport, and unfurnished. I enjoy watching footy and cricket, going to the gym and also travelling. I like going out on the weekends but also don’t mind staying in and sharing dinner/watching Netflix with housemates. 😉 I do work Saturdays so can do inspections after 6pm or sundays. If you have a room that you think would be suitable for me, please contact me- I’ll try to get back as soon as I can. Thank you! 😊
NOTE: ** FEMALE ** ONLY ** HOUSE ** - More interested in teamups as i want a place to call my (our) home - No student/family housing/accomodation - Modern looking houses/rooms - Bayside area, or Pakenham Train Line HIIII! I'm born in Malaysia, raised in Vietnam, studied in New Zealand and now working in Melbourne! I've been here for a year and absolutely loving it! I'm a graphic designer by day and an event promoter by night. I like to mingle and meet new people but at the same time i like having my own space as i'm very easy going and bubbly. Im an only child so i've grown to be independent at a very young age and i've been flatting since i was 17 so i know the rules. I respect other people's privacy and i clean up after myself and also others (e.g. you cook, i clean vice versa) Netflix and food is my best friend and in my spare time I go on nature walks/hikes, to the gym or music/food events :D Inbox me if you think we'll vibe~
I love where I live. I keep a clean environment. So very responsible and respectful of all things house. Ideally looking for a one bedroom apartment or similar for 6 months. Willing to take over a lease. Have recent rental references from Hocking Stewart
Hi future Flatmates, I'm looking for a room in a friendly share house. I'm a student -and teacher- in the social sciences and take an interest in human rights and social justice issues. Aside from that I'm quite into fitness, and mostly vegetarian these days. I'm a non-smoker. I don't currently have a pet, but have successfully lived with cats. I look forward to meeting you and hopefully renting your room.
I am a friendly academic/nerd. I am usually a clean and quiet person, and am happy to do my own thing but I also like to socialize once in a while. I am into research, reading, traveling, photography, live music, and bush walking.
Hey there, 36 year old. Originally from the UK (But now an Aussie Citizen!). Already lived in Melbourne for 4 years, then a short stint in Darwin NT then spent the last 12 months working and living in Abu dhabi. I've always classed Melbs my home. I'm an ICU nurse consultant at Alfred Hospital. About me. I'm a gay guy.....Not everyone's cup of tea which is why i'm sticking it on here. No point in living with someone who doesn't approve I work hard and play hard....Enjoy my crossfit. Boom! Keeps me semi sane. Don't really drink a lot these days Also like chilled times in with a movie and cooking healthy food. Cheers
We have been travelling the world for 7 months and it's time for us to come home and be adults. We are looking for a place short term (while we look for the right place) or long term if the right place appears. We have done the sharehouse thing for years and consider ourselves great housemates (usually in charge of paying bills, rent, speaking with the landlord and we're clean!). We also have money saved so paying rent is a non issue. I am an accounting student who also works as a Carpenter for the bills and the fun. I play football on weekends and inbetween study, work and footy am generally chill. Michelle works in TV as a producer and volunteers at the Royal Childrens Hospital. She loves to bake, yoga, camping and is looking for someone who doesn't play football on the weekends to drink wine/cider with. We arrive back in Melbourne on the 9th but can be slightly flexible on dates if need be.
Quiet, just read a lot and play video games, non drinker, smoker. Disability pension due to Epilepsy, pancreatitis andgastrointestinal issues. Clean, can cook ! And issues in the gut are getting better so I'll be back to work, more than likely driving Forklifts day/Night shift as I used to, and still have the earplugs. But I would expect a little thought from any housemates/friends :-).
Just returned from OS, want accommodation while I look to buy. Im happy relaxed respectful of others space. Clean & tidy. Wld like parking & if possible my own ensuite. I enjoy eating out catching up with friends cooking occasionally & a glass of wine & a chat. Love the gym, reading like the outdoors. I'm an image consultant. I tend to socialise out more than at home. I'm not after a party house. 😁
I am a student, I'm moving for study. I'm from Adelaide where I've lived in a bunch of lovely places - I'm not a share house novice! Non-smoker, tidy. I love buying flowers even though I can't afford them. I can cook.
I’m a health professional working in Melbourne looking for a tidy, friendly share house with easy access to Parkville. I keep busy with work, gym and yoga and love to cook and spend weekends at the beach.
