Potentially moving to Sydney very soon for work and looking to find a place to live. I work as a pastry chef so potential housemates will benefit from the leftovers I get to bring home! Enjoy socialising as well as quiet time. Love to share a glass of wine and a meal on days off. Looking for an easygoing but still clean and tidy place to share.
Hi, I'm a PhD candidate from Costa Rica. I finished my masters in South Korea last year and I am following the academic route. I'm into having a healthy lifestyle and working out, eating new tasty things (I love eating haha) and listening to music. Oh yeah, board games can happen, so can the occasional drink and the binging of Netflix. But most of the time I'm reading pdfs, books and news. I do have a lot of research to do, but try to make time for bushwalks and trips to places and detox. I'm looking for a place that's clean, quiet and also comfortable for me to do some reading and my research when I'm not at Uni. (Yup, PhD life is that fun) I'm looking at places near Lane Cove and Riverview, since the boat shed for the rowing club I go to is there. :) I'm trying to do early morning sessions there and I also keep a very active workout lifestyle. Cycling, running, swimming and rowing. I've studied and lived in Costa Rica, Norway, South Korea and now Australia. I don't smoke and enjoy having a clean home and stuff. Looking for a July 1st moving date which is when my current contract ends.
Looking for a place by the water and my search is based around The Bay Run area, Eastern Suburbs or Lower North Shore along the river to Lane Cove. I'm clean and tidy, laid back and looking for a similar environment. Off-street parking is essential. Some steep driveways and drops to the road, my car won't handle, it's low. I also work from home. I'm flexible on the location in Sydney, but I would love to be by the water, and have a nice view for working. I hardly ever drink and don't like living with people that drink every night. Looking more for a home, not a "bed sit", or a "social" boarding house. I get along with people that are really career driven, entrepreneur types without the pretentious attitude. My requirements are: off street parking and a solid internet connection and a trustworthy household.
Professional female. Working full time and away most weekends. Very clean, tidy, mature and respectful of others. Looking short term initially, approx 3 months. Would prefer my own bathroom and car space/permit. Not looking for room share/sharing with couples or party house. Thanks Denise
Hi ! My name is Leo, i'm a 22 years old french student, I will come in Sydney to complete an internship at Johnson Controls Industries situated on North Ryde. I will work there during 2 month. I'm looking for an house-share because i would like to meet people and share a little bit of Australian life ! :) I've already made house-sharing in France during 2 years and in Norway during 4 Months, I love movies and music and i'm very respectful Don't hesitate to ask me more question about me ! ;)
Hi, I'm a teacher looking for a sharehouse ideally with one or two people around the same age. I'm pretty chilled and quiet through the week. Weekends I'll either be visiting family or friends, going out for dinner or a few drinks, love to get out to the beach or walks exploring places. Would love a place that feels like home and somewhere I can bring friends around every now and then to hang out. Would love some flatmates that are happy to have a chat and sit and watch a movie or something every so often, but also appreciate and respect personal space.
Easy going, laid back, social guy. I work in hospitality, flexible lifestyle with little fuss. Looking to make somewhere my own for a while. Love sports, animals, live life according to the Seinfeld.
Im a very independent clean and respectful person. Currently self employed and have been for the past 3years, and work very hard. I don't smoke do drugs or drink (will have occasional beer). Happy to keep to my self or have a chat and eat dinner together. Love to have a laugh and chill out or read books in my down time :)
Hi! I'm a friendly, kind-hearted young adult looking for medium to long-term accomodation with 18-24 year olds. I can mesh with nearly any social circle I find myself in. I don't take up much space, mostly a bedroom and an external desk, and tidy up any messes I create as I go - you take care of yours, I'll take care of mine, and help with any shared chores necessary! I tend to cook when I'm bored, and am usually happy to help with dinner. You'll usually find me on my computer working, socialising or playing Overwatch, as I am a fairly introverted person, and the majority of my routine is accomplished on my work station. Unfortunately, this means I have the potential to be a drain on the wifi, so while I am willing to split the bill if it becomes too much, I would prefer it if internet is included in rent. Please contact me for details about my computer-using schedule, visitor schedule, AND pet related details, as one of my major goals after moving into private rental is to adopt a cat for future registration as an Emotional Support Animal. I listed a lot of areas that hug the T1 train line in my search as I am familiar with most locations along the Macquarie Uni line and frequent the Chatswood/St Leonards surrounds. I did list $150 pw as my preferred rent/bills/wifi amount, but I might be able to pay up to $180 pw in a pinch if it includes the above, because any more will cut into my month's food and transport. I am currently living in subsidised housing and plan to move out by the end of the year, but ideally as soon as possible. I understand that my conditions may not be ideal but I will strive to do the best I can to work with the situations around me, and I would rather be honest than cause issues down the line. Thank you!
I'm a student and a sales rep of which I do both most days so home is somewhere to rest and relax for me. I'm easy going, more than able to contribute to household upkeep be it vacuuming or general cleaning to helping out in the yard. I have a steady and reliable income and I'm looking for longer term accomodation starting June or July (willing to start w 3 months and then continue if things suit us). I currently live in Baulkham Hills, study at Macquarie and work in various suburbs of Sydney.
Both Mark and I are easy going relaxed social people. We both work full time. Myself in the city as a travel agent and mark in Lane Cove in a body shop. After work I love to come home and chill out watch some tv. I'm English so you will always find a cup of tea in my hand! I'm chatty and social. I enjoy breakfast out on my days off. I have a small addiction to coffee. In the evenings I enjoy cooking dinners with others and sharing a glass of wine or two. I love going down to the beach and doing anything outside. Mark is active and friendly. General handy man with everything. We are ideally looking for a clean social house to be our home. If you are looking for someone that is just going to hide out in their room and never be seen then sorry we are not the ones for you.
Hi, We are a couple from the Maldives (30 & 32 yrs), looking for accommodation in any suburb around Sydney. We are looking for a private room with our own bathroom. I work full-time and my partner works as a freelance developer. We are a social and easy going couple who enjoy cooking - wouldn't mind sharing a meal :) We don't drink or smoke. We are very tidy and like to keep the house clean.
An easy-going Brazilian couple looking for someone to share a place with us. I am going to study Mobile Development in AIT while Mariana works in Lane Cove, usually night shifts. We are non-smokers and like to drink a little bit on weekends. I prefer to have a beer and Mariana goes for wine. In our free time, we like to watch Netflix series, movies and goes for a walk throughout the city. :) Thanks

Hi, My name is Elizabeth. I'm 24 and I'm just moving to Sydney to begin fulltime employment as a teacher. I am sporty and love running, netball and touch footy. I also enjoy watching sport, although I don't do it a lot. I'm pretty easy going, I like being social but also really appreciate down time and a sleep in every now and then. I will happily have a chat over a glass of wine (or not) if you like but also will respect your space too. I am moving to Sydney for the first time but I do have friends and family in Sydney so wouldn't expect you to babysit me. I am keen to find somewhere pretty quickly as I am starting work in a few days. Cheers! I hope we get along well!
