Hey! :) I am an exchange student from Austria and I just arrived to Australia. I'm currently searching for a nice place to stay for the next 6 months. I love travelling, cooking, running, photography and meeting new people. I am looking for a place with people who enjoy activities together but also respect each other's privacy. If you are looking for somebody to rent your free room I would be very happy to meet you for a room inspection and to get to know each other!
Non Smoker, Quiet and respectful. works full-time and is looking at moving closer to work. More than happy to answer any questions. Shoot me a message :)
Hi there :) I'm an easy going happy chick who would love to have a few drinks occasionally with my room mates but still give everyone the privacy they need. I enjoy going out and exploring the city and would like to get to know my room mates. I recently moved to Sydney from New Zealand and I'm looking to find a place with awesome people. I'm a podiatrist so I will be out of the house early morning and back in the evening during the week. I'm a massive animal lover and if I could I would love to share the flat with people who either have cats or dogs and will be more than happy to take care of them when you are out of the house. I love keeping the house tidy and I'm a major foodie who enjoys cooking. Please feel free to flick me a message and we shall go from there :) Have a lovely day guys!!

Hey my name is nora. I'm a 25 year old professional that is eager to move out in the next week or so. I've lived in London, Portugal and Italy so I've lived with so many different personalities which is always exciting to meet new ones. Not OCD but do appreciate cleanliness. Love personal space because I am also finishing my uni degree online and kept very busy but I also love socialising because I'm really good a procrastinating :) If you would like to have a chat please give me a call for any questions. Hope to hear from you! Nora
I am very considerate and easy-going person. I am an architect who enjoys surfing, and now am moving to Sydney from Melbourne. I am super easy to live with, unless you are a total mess and do never clean up after yourself. Im looking for a place either close to my work (CBD) with off or on-street parking or at the beach, but close to a train or ferry.
I'm a very considerate person, so I respect other people with high regard. Yet, I'm still someone who is always prepared for a great time, I love to hang out with others in my free time. I'm also happy to have anybody over for dinners, drinks, you name it! During the week, I am pretty busy with working in Crows Nest at Norths Basketball and studying law and commerce full time at Macquarie. Most days I'm out of the house in the morning and might not be back until later into the night. On holidays though, I do like to recharge and just relax at home. I have a girlfriend who would ideally be able to spend 1 - 2 nights with me as I would be doing the same with her. I'm happy with pets as I have grown up my whole life with them. I look forward to hearing from you.
I am looking for somewhere to live a bit closer to work, quiet to live with and lots of fun/good sense of humour. Young Aussie girl that is bubbly and happy to be around!
I am very casual and friendly. Not overly noisy and comfortable with other peoples interests even when they are not necessarily my interests. I am a sports nut, particularly cricket. Also enjoy video games and chilling in my free time. None Smoker and rarely drink
Hi there! I am an outgoing and sociable person, who enjoys spending time with my 4 year-old golden labrador Macie. I love being outside in the sunshine, but can also spend time curled up in my room watching TV or reading a good book.
Hi! Moving to Sydney from Melbourne for work and looking for a place close to public transport for about 6-12months. Pretty easy going, happy to share a drink and chat but also respect privacy. Would like to live somewhere clean and tidy :)
I am from Los Angeles, CA and will be starting my Masters at Macquarie University. I have lived in Sydney before and love the city. I am extremely tidy, respectful, and easy to get along with. I like going to the beach, working out, and trying new foods.
I am a chemical engineer newly moved from Iran to Australia. I have got Permanent Resident visa and I am looking for a shared house.
Hi! I am a professional educator, with a PhD from UTS, and B(Ed) from USyd. On occasion, I undertake short-term contract work and like to stay as close to my workplace as possible, in order to focus on the new role. While I work hard during these roles, I always ensure I stay balanced with a host of other interests and hobbies. For example, I'm currently in the final stages of writing a full theatrical production and am getting into trail mountain bike riding. I am naturally very tidy and sensitive to the needs of others. I'm also very flexible and can adapt to a range of living environments. Age isn't an issue for me, as I have good friends who are of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. Please let me know if you think I may be suitable for your place. I'm happy to provide more details on request. Thanks!
My name is Isabel. I am 28 years old and I am from Spain. I work full time and I like to do a lot of exercise. I am a cheerful and kind person. I am clean I would like to find a quite flat. I love to dance and I prefer parties outside my flat.
Hey guys I'm looking for a room I've recently relocated to Sydney from Coffs Harbour, I'm 20 years old working full time and on the weekends as well! I'm a heaps easy going chick and great houses mate. Please feel free to contact meI am looking forward to hearing from you!
I have a science background but currently working in disabled care. I'm clean and courteous. I did high school in Killara but spent my university degree up in Queensland. I enjoy the outdoors and socializing with friends.
Great cook, my work involves travelling away a lot, tidy.
I work full time as an IT Consultant at Macquarie Park, while living in the Blue Mountains. I'm aiming to find a room to rent for 3-4 nights per week, to reduce the amount of commuting I do (which takes 5 hours per day!). Having a room such as this would free up my time during the week, enabling me to catch up on my reading, yoga, meditation, and guitar practice! (but note that I have a travel guitar which has ear plugs - it's effectively silent to others). It would also enable me to attend 1 or 2 courses in the city during the week - I'm currently looking at meditation, music, chi gung and tango classes! But not all at once!! Kitchen facilities aren't essential (but would be nice to have). Only need a single bed. I'm a non-smoker.
Hi! I am a 27 year old student at Macquarie studying to be a secondary school teacher. I am looking to find a place to live that I can share with at least one other person. I will be studying for 6 months and then re-evaluating my living situation. Look forward to meeting some like minded people.
Hi there! My name is Koen van der List, I am a finance student from the Netherlands. In Sydney, I am planning to undertake a full-time internship. In my spare time, I like to read, play guitar, and run. I am in for a drink in the weekends, and prefer to keep it calm during the week. I prefer clean and tidy housemates. Also, I can provide bank statements in order to assure that I will be able to pay the rent.
I am currently working as a Visual merchandiser at Zara. I study part time at FBI Fashion College. I'm currently living in a studio in Hornsby with my kitten lumi. I am very social, I love to go out to new places and meet new people but also loves nights in. I am seeking a room mate who I can hang out and go out with but also needs their own space & who has good taste in wine and will be ok watching hundreds of dog and cat videos online with me. I am also flexible on areas to live as long as it is near public transport!
Hi there, I’ve recently found a new job as a project consultant in Lane Cove and am in increasing need of a new place to match, with a move from Melbourne to Sydney being problematic without one. Preferably I’d be looking to live within a reasonable distance of work, haven’t thought far beyond that at the moment. I’m a very relaxed person and don’t stress or rush over many things, not too worried about housemates having a similar outlook, I’m sure everything will be manageable. On occasion I’m fairly quiet, outgoing most of the time though. Prefer things clean and tidy and I'm sociable while being respectful of others privacy. Would prefer something mid to long term rather than shorter and I’m open to teaming up. If all sounds good feel free to drop me a message. James
Hi everyone! I'm searching for a private room in north sydney area and surroundings, own bathroom preferred but not essential I'm clean and tidy searching for a place where i can have my privacy but also enjoy a chat/glas of wine now and then with my housemates I'm currently working and studying and going to the gym on my free time so i won't be around much during the day Feel free to contact me for any question :)
Lived out of home for nearly 10years now so my flatting adequate is above average ;) Like to clean, cook, very easy going, happy to pull my weight around the house and respectful! I have a 4year old staffy who is overly friendly and loves attention. Fully trained and acts more or less like a cat than a dog!
Hi my name is Carlie and I am from Adelaide Australia! My partner Matt and I will be moving to Sydney late February to commence our studies at Macquarie University. I will be studying counter terrorism/security studies and Matt will be studying media/writing. We are both very friendly, easy going and clean. We both love our food so we are very excited to try new restaurants around Sydney. We love the outdoors and hiking but relaxing and movies are equally loved.
I am a young professional who will begin employment with the NSW Government in mid-February. I have experience in house-sharing (have lived in a shared apartment since 2013) and am friendly, clean and easy-going. I don't have any particular preferences about the property, just a private room. Looking for housemates that are respectful of personal space but are up for a chat and the odd sharing of meals! I dont smoke and am pet friendly! During the week I am pretty much just at work/hanging out at home in the evenings and on the weekend I love getting out and exploring the city, going to the beach, shopping, and all that good stuff. A parking space/on street parking would be great, but by no means a pre-requisite!
Hi there, my current lease will be finishing on 8th March. I work full time in Pyrmont. I enjoy my spare time mostly doing sports [trainings in the morning and evenings]. On weekends, it is just a mixed of trainings, surf, movies, relax, cooking, going out, hikes, short trips. I like to keep the common areas tidy and cleaned because I expect the same from my flatmates. Interested only on private rooms and if i have my own bathroom will be perfect.. Looking for a long stay. Cheers
Hi housemates! I'm from Barcelona and I am a geologist, currently employed as a postdoc (full-time researcher) at Macquarie Univeristy. This means that every now and then I have to spend long hours in the lab... but I really like the idea of going back to a place that I can call "home" every evening. I'm looking for a place close to the city, but near a train station going to Macquarie uni, since I don't want to spend too much time commutting every day. I'm very open-minded, friendly and I like meeting new people from other cultures. Actually, I always thought that this is the best thing about living in Australia! And after a few years here, I can confirm that aussie people are absolutely great... so as far as my housemates are nice and sociable people, I'm fine! I'm active, I like outdoor activities (climbing, caving, hiking and canyoning) and I've been playing volleyball since I was 12. I love reading, playing board games and travelling (a lot!). Ah, and I have a passion since I was a child: human towers. You're more than welcome to join our team, but that's another story... ;) I have been living in Sydney (Macquarie uni area) for more than 2 years now, always sharing a house, so I'm used to it and you'll have no complain about me, since I'm a very clean and easy-going girl. My landlady and housemates will confirm both! To be honest, I'm very sad to leave my current place and my friends who have become my Australian family, but my landlady had to rent my room while I was away for work for 2 months and I have no option but to find somewhere else to stay. I'm looking for a clean and tidy house to stay at least 3 months, with nice and sociable housemates (not crazy parties in the house though, I have to be able to rest during the week!); people who are happy to do activities together and share some meals from time to time. Obviously no need to say that I'll definitely respect your privacy (and I hope that you will as well), but I'm not interested in a place where my housemates spend most of the time in their rooms! Please do not hesitate to contact me if you want to know more about me. I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Hey I'm Soph, I'm 20 years old and currently studying Environmental Science at Macquarie uni. I work part time in pharmacy at Lane Cove, and live in Greenwich at the moment, but am looking to downsize a bit as I'm in the master bedroom and would love to start saving a bit more! I love to cook, enjoy my fitness and am always trying to get out and explore the city as much as I can. I am mostly at work or uni, but when i'm at home I like to relax with some netflix, or have some friends over for a few quiet ones. I'm looking for somewhere pretty chilled, where the housemates all get along, treat the house as a home but are able to do their own thing :)
Im pretty Chilled out. Mindful of peoples need for space. Happy to socialise or have a beer from time to time.
I'm clean and tidy. Quirky personality but easy to get along with. I work full-time so I'm out most of the day during the week. I often keep to myself but I'm always up for a chat and willing to help out. I work for Coke Cola and enjoy going out for a drink. I can be a little nerdy, but also a big fan of sports.
Hi, I'm an international student from Mexico. I study a Master course at Macquarie University and work part time. I'm looking for a nice place to share with friendly, easygoing and respectful people. I'm very tidy and organaized so I will keep everything in order.
Work more or less full time thru the week and have college in the evenings, would be spending very little time at home during the week. I work as a Bicycle mechanic enjoy mountain biking, and staying fit. I'm studying at Uni and keep myself busy between the above two things. During the week I volunteer at an Op-Shop as a Handyman, and enjoy working doing home projects. Can solve most electrical, and other house kinda issues... Basically useful. I'm mostly on here looking for people to Team-up and start a house over the Long-term. Ideally a year or longer. I do have a couple of people interested, my current room mate may also decide to join-in to the house. But neither of them have confirmed. Clean, tidy, lived in a share house, happy to roster a cleaning routine, respectful of another person's space and things, friendly. Open and happy to host pets. Get in touch and can figure out the rest...
I am easy going, friendly, well educated, respectful, clean and tidy. I am a college student and I work part time in Childhood education.
Hi I am a single, clean, quiet, working Australian male. I currently work days and nights but I am trying to get rid of the nights so you will see me in the future. I need a quiet home as I do some work from home. I will need to live with people that aren't home on weekdays (or are very quiet if they are). I love peace, quiet and sleep so I'm after a quiet location where I can sleep any time - no planes flying overhead, no major roads or rail close by, and no noisy neighbours or dogs barking. If you have a dog it must be very quiet. The room needs to be large (3x3m at least) to fit queen bed, desk, TV unit and wardrobe if no BIR. I also have a lot of belongings so need some storage - shed/cupboard/spare room For housemates, 20s and 30s is good. I only want to live with Australians/English people not other languages/cultures. I think 2-3 people is enough. My budget of $300/w is including bills and internet No young kids or smokers or dogs. Internet is essential. I will consider more areas than I have listed Cat-friendly would be a bonus. I would like to have my own cat but will consider sharing yours. When I'm home I like to watch tv/movies and play video/board games. My own bathroom would be perfect but maybe I'm asking for too much now. I have to give 3 weeks notice.
Looking to rent a room with own bathroom preferably Ensuite with parking would be great. I am Tech engineer who love healthy life style, gym training and swimming. Very tidy and always clean after myself, into clean healthy food.. Always up to socialise and hanging out in weekend going to the beach movie or travel around discover new areas. Non smoker, Mostly quiet at home but also up for a chat, watch movies and share food every now and then.
I'm 35 years old professional female, looking for the good place with nice friendly people (prefer females). I'm easy-going, considerate, genuine, sincere, respectful, sociable and friendly girl, who has a positive, good-natured attitude :) I live a healthy and active lifestyle. I think I am an easy person to live with. :)
Hi, my name is Rhiarn. I'm 29yrs old. I'm clean and tidy. I work full time as a manager in Chatswood so I'm not home much during the week. I like keeping fit and healthy by going to the gym. I respect people's space and enjoy the occasional glass of wine. I'm easy going and a positive person.
I am a long haul flight attendant, a non-smoker and don't throw parties. I don't mind a chat but I don't rumble. Always maintain my place clean and tidy. Allergic to dust and mess. I am after a place that I will have my own room and bathroom. Share with 1 other non-smoker. I have a lovely fur baby, a 9 months old kitten, he is so adorable and gentle, toilet trained since day. He doesn't scratch furniture, I only keep him indoor, he is very clean and well maintained. If what I ask falls into your category. I look forward to hearing from you.
I work full time in a hotel on Sydney's circular quay so I will be at work most of the time, mostly during the day but sometimes I will get night shifts as well. I love to be social and have fun as much as I love time to myself and be independent. I will respect all house rules, privacy, people's need for time to themselves, but I would also love a home where I can hang out with my house mates :)
Hi! I am postgraduate student, I work in pharmacy and have a steady income. I am a friendly, reliable, tidy and considerate individual. I enjoy spending time outdoors and love hanging out with friends whether just chilling at home or heading out for a nice meal. I also enjoy playing team sports such a touch football and planning travel ideas for when I finally graduate : ) I would prefer somewhere within walking distance of train stations. Thanks!
Very laid back Aussie guy. Usually keep to myself, don't mind a quiet night in or a few drinks out. Not a party animal. Non smoker. Needing an unfurnished room. Happy with anywhere east, near lane cove or manly area. Have a 9 mth old puppy so will need a pet friendly place. A small backyard or courtyard would suffice.
