I have been giving notice that I will not be able to renew the lease on the house Im renting at the moment in lane cove as the owner wants to start building on the land. I need to move by the 23rd of February. A bit about me - I run my own business called Anteks Carpentry and Handyman. I have european background. I was born and grew up in North Sydney. I love working and staying busy ...I enjoy four wheel driving, camping and getting out exploring our great country. I like my home to be clean and organised to make everyones life easier. I enjoy quiets times relaxing at home and i spend allot of time on my laptop doing paperwork, advertising, ect My ideal place to live would have a garage or storeroom to store some of my tools and camping gear in.. BUT THIS IS NOT ESSENTIAL ! STREET PARKING is quite important too. Most importantly im looking for a decent person or people to live with. I have references if needed. Cheers, Antek
Hi Guys I'm an outgoing, friendly, fun girl looking for a place to come and go from in Sydney. My work involves lots of travel and I will be away for periods up to 8 weeks at a time. I'm looking for someone who has a spare room/granny flat etc, that is happy to price it accordingly. I'd be ideal for someone who doesn't want a permanent lodger but just a bit of extra income from a spare room for a few weeks here and there. I'm easy going and not into partying - happy just to have somewhere to chill out when I'm working/rehearsing in Sydney between tours.
Prefer quiet living. Neat and tidy, and I have lived in my current flat for 10 years...so obviously I pay my rent on time, every time. Although I don't have a pet, I am very animal friendly, should you have pets (Uummm......maybe not pet snakes, spiders, etc. LOL.) Moving from Nowra to pursue interests in natural health care. Although I am 67 yrs of age, I am healthy (though a bit overweight) and have interests both inside and outside of home. I currently ride a 50cc motor scooter (registered road vehicle! .... not mobility scooter), though I am not sure whether to bring it to Sydney. It would depend on where I live, and public transport (though I do love the flexibility of having my own transport). I love to spend quite a bit of time on my computer, when I am at home. I am respectful of other people's property, and would expect the same in return. LOL ... I don't particularly enjoy cooking, so my meals are very simple, though usually nutritious ... although I do enjoy a couple of squares of chocolate in the evening. I enjoy my life!
Hello! I will start work in a VFX studio in Sydney from January end. I am looking to share accommodation or rent a space together. Extrovert, Social, flexible, respects other's privacy and would love to travel if someone's likes to backpack!
My name is Enrique and I am from Spain. I am a doctor going to be working at the Royal North Shore Hospital. My mum is coming to visit me from Spain and I am looking for a place for both of us from 20th Jan till Mid-March. I am interested in an apartment a close to the Royal North Hospital or with easy transport. Enrique
Hi there, I'm Tolga, a 28yo male who's relatively new to Sydney. I came up for a product marketing job that's based in Macquarie Park, and looking to find somewhere north of the bridge to call home. I'm fairly social, love to cook, keep healthy, and very easy going. I'm looking for relaxed house mates who enjoy a chat and keep a tidy home (def not OCD), but completely respect the need for privacy and having nights alone to chill after a long day without the need for small talk, as I can't do without it myself. Drop me a line and happy to have a chat to organise a time to meet up. Side note - I'll need a car park. Even unlimited on street parking with no restrictions is fine. Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to find out. Cheers
Hi there, I’ve recently found a new job as a project consultant in Lane Cove and am in increasing need of a new place to match, with a move from Melbourne to Sydney being problematic without one. Preferably I’d be looking to live within a reasonable distance of work, haven’t thought far beyond that at the moment. I’m a very relaxed person and don’t stress or rush over many things, not too worried about housemates having a similar outlook, I’m sure everything will be manageable. On occasion I’m fairly quiet, outgoing most of the time though. Prefer things clean and tidy and I'm sociable while being respectful of others privacy. Would prefer something mid to long term rather than shorter and I’m open to teaming up. If all sounds good feel free to drop me a message. James
I am originally from the U.K. over in Australia for work. I work with children who have autism and I am also a personal trainer. I am reliable, clean and considerate. I have a beautiful 20 month old daughter who is very well behaved. She sleeps from 7pm throughout the night so your evenings will be peaceful.
We are a professional couple from Newcastle (Luke an Engineer and Lauren a Dental Nurse) who start work 06/02/17 in North Sydney and would like to live somewhere that is within a one hour commute via public transport to North Sydney. We are a fairly chilled out couple who enjoy going to the beach, watching movies/tv shows and travelling. We currently have a small cat that we would love to be able to bring to Sydney with us, but can make other arrangements for her if required. We would like to have somewhere to park our car (street is fine). We have most of our own furniture/appliances (bed, fridge, washing machine, kitchen appliances). Our preferred budget is less than $500 per week and we are looking to share for 6-12 months.
Hi I am a single, clean, quiet, working Australian male. I need a quiet home as I do some work from home. I love peace and quiet so I'm after a quiet location - no planes flying overhead, no major roads or rail close by, and no neighbours dogs driving me crazy with constant barking. If you have a dog it must be very quiet. The room needs to be large (3x3m at least) to fit queen bed, desk, TV unit and wardrobe if no BIR. I also have a lot of belongings so need some storage - shed/cupboard/spare room For housemates, 20s and 30s is good. I only want to live with Australians/English people not other languages/cultures My budget of $250/w is including bills and internet No young kids or smokers or dogs. Internet is essential. I will consider more areas than I have listed (there is a limit) Cat-friendly would be a huge bonus. I would like to have my own cat but will consider sharing yours. My own bathroom would be perfect but maybe I'm asking for too much now. I have to give 3 weeks notice.
Hey my name is nora. I'm a 25 year old professional that is eager to move out in the next week or so. I've lived in London, Portugal and Italy so I've lived with so many different personalities which is always exciting to meet new ones. Not OCD but do appreciate cleanliness. Love personal space because I am also finishing my uni degree online and kept very busy but I also love socialising because I'm really good a procrastinating :) If you would like to have a chat please give me a call for any questions. Hope to hear from you! Nora

Hi, my name is Rhiarn. I'm 29yrs old. I'm clean and tidy. I work full time as a manager in Chatswood so I'm not home much during the week. I like keeping fit and healthy by going to the gym. I respect people's space and enjoy the occasional glass of wine. I'm easy going and a positive person.
I am very considerate and easy-going person. I am an architect who enjoys surfing, and now am moving to Sydney from Melbourne. I am super easy to live with, unless you are a total mess and do never clean up after yourself. Im looking for a place either close to my work (CBD) with off or on-street parking or at the beach, but close to a train or ferry.
Hi Im Ashleigh, 21 yrs old, Just my bachelor degree this year. Im looking for a place to move out by early next year in January. Preferably Female to move in with, As where Im currently living, is about to be rebuilt into a new home so need to find a place for a long term stay. Im a lot of fun, easy going, respectful of other peoples space and privacy. Very Sociable, happy to share a wine or two haha. Im clean and tidy and do cook for myself atm but happy to share that amongst others. I do have my own car and furniture with double bed, and one set of draws. I will be working full time in the city, so anything that can help me for a long term run would be amazing! Thankyou
I am American who lives in Sydney working as a videographer. I am easy going and laid back. I have lived with heaps of people through my college years, so I know how to handle different living environments. I'm looking for a place that is relaxed, where we can cook and share a drink together. I love having good conversations, but I'm also introverted so I'm happy on my own as well.
I am a long haul flight attendant, a non-smoker and don't throw parties. I don't mind a chat but I don't rumble. Always maintain my place clean and tidy. Allergic to dust and mess. I am after a place that I will have my own room and bathroom. Share with 1 other non-smoker. I have a lovely fur baby, a 9 months old kitten, he is so adorable and gentle, toilet trained since day. He doesn't scratch furniture, I only keep him indoor, he is very clean and well maintained. If what I ask falls into your category. I look forward to hearing from you.
I am a recent graduate of university, looking to move to the city to start my career. I'm a Catholic who believes everyone can have their own faith so I don't push my beliefs onto others. I am obsessed with cats, but have enough at my parents places that I don't have any myself. I am also a very tidy person who hates mess and would generally clean it up immediately if I spot any.
I am a friendly and out-going professional who works in finance. I love having a good chat over a bottle of wine but also appreciate my downtime and space. I enjoy cooking and experimenting with food (when you have an egg allergy you have to get a little creative). I have a little mongrel called Lulu who I adopted from a pound in Wagga 7 years ago - shes is a pretty cool dog. I am clean and considerate, and would love to live with like minded people.
Well hi! I'm Maddie, I'm 21 and about to start my Masters at Macquarie Uni. I come from a small farming town in Far North Queensland and have decided to make the jump to Sydney, so here we are. I'm easy-going and laid back. I like to think I'm reasonably clean. I'm super friendly. I don't mind being alone or being with a bunch of friends having a drink or two. I love to cook and will probably bake more things than we can eat. And honestly, I'm a complete nerd. I'm also an avid gamer, so it'd be nice to have potential roomies to co-op with. I have a car, so there's also potential Maccas runs at 3am / to tote our groceries back :D Feel free to message me if we seem like potential roomies! Looking forward to meeting you.
Easy going, friendly professional who is hygienic and love a tidy home. Like outdoor activities fit, active, enjoy company of others. Would like to move in around 23 Dec 2016a
You just found your perfect house mate! Hi my name is Ollie. I'm 48 Irish and divorced. I have a beautiful 9 year old girl and 6 year old boy. They live with their mum in Newcastle. I would need to be able to have them stay in my room Friday and Saturday night every second weekend and some times during school holidays. I just thought I'd get that out of the way first but if that's cool with you please read on... I have lived with my amazing female flat mate for the last 18 months but sadly its time for her boyfriend to move in and me to move on. She is more than happy to let you know what I'm like to live with. In an ideal world I would really like to find another divorced dad in the same position as I am to share and have our kids there now and again. I am still very open to consider a single mum in the same position too. I am a full time professional employed in a position of high trust so very good to have living with you. I'm very neat and tidy but not anal. I have a bit of spare time so happy to take charge of the house work, laundry, cleaning etc if you are time poor. I'm not the worst cook either! I understand the concept of courtesy and consideration when it comes to sharing with another person. I understand when its good to have a chat and also to give space. I'm very social and am out a lot of the time and very rarely watch TV so no couch potato here!! Also I am very, very handy and have a large amount of tools and experience so if you have a place that needs repairs I'm sure we can come to some arrangement. This might also suit an elderly person who's not up to all the chores they once were and would like to have someone living with them for help and a bit of security. I'm pretty much open to all living scenarios but would like to stay living on the north side of the Harbour Bridge close to North Sydney but not a deal breaker. So if any of this sounds appealing to you please get in contact and we can talk about possibilities. Ollie
I am 27 years old, Indonesian, and Single. I am an easy going person and very much interested in making friends with anyone especially from different culture. I am a clean and tidy person and would probably like to spend most of my time being outside the house since I am new in town. Anyone looking for a flat mate to share the house with, please feel free to contact me.
I have recently finished my uni studies at Newcastle and will be commencing work at Royal North Shore Hospital in 2017. I am a friendly easy going person who respects personal space and privacy. But I do enjoy socialising and look forward to adventures in Sydney on weekends and days off work.
Hi! I am postgraduate student, I work in pharmacy and have a steady income. I am a friendly, reliable, tidy and considerate individual. I enjoy spending time outdoors and love hanging out with friends whether just chilling at home or heading out for a nice meal. I also enjoy playing team sports such a touch football and planning travel ideas for when I finally graduate : ) I am looking for a place from the 5th January 2017. I would prefer somewhere within walking distance of train stations. Thanks!
Very laid back Aussie guy. Usually keep to myself, don't mind a quiet night in or a few drinks out. Not a party animal. Non smoker. Needing an unfurnished room. Happy with anywhere east, near lane cove or manly area. Have a 9 mth old puppy so will need a pet friendly place. A small backyard or courtyard would suffice.
Hey, So I'm looking for a team-up or room in a 3 bedroom house around the north shore. (see area's listed) I'm 27, working full time and just looking to move closer to work. I'd love to live with people who are clean and friendly. My ideal housemates would be people that are up for a chat at the end of the day and occasionally keen to hang out and do things, but also people who are ok to be super chill and enjoy quiet time as well :) I enjoy outdoors, watching sports and TV shows (GoT anyone?) fitness and the beach.
I am a single 33 year old female, who works full time as a vet. I am an animal lover and have a 5 year old male neutered Labrador, who is friendly both with dogs and people. I enjoy both my own time at home and having a chat with roommates, but am respectful of your own space and belongings.
I'm a full time working professional in software! I'm handy to have around because I can pretty much fix anything from computers to your fridge! I enjoy being social and making new friends. Watching Netflix on the couch with a friend and a drink and enjoy cooking as well as sharing a meal. I'm an animal person but don't have any pets so if you have one I'm interested but even then I'm happy looking at photos of dogs on the internet! I like to read and keep to myself sometimes too as well as a little bit of a gamer.
Hi everyone! Single mum with 2 boys (16 and 10) who are polite, friendly and considerate. I am self-employed and work from home (just need my laptop and internet). I would be happy to team up with another single parent if a property was large enough. We are clean and tidy (yes, even the boys).
I am self sufficient so will not be a burden on the household. Being a mature adult I am experienced and easy going when it comes to sharing accommodation. I currently work part time with no dependents so I am reliable and on time when it comes to paying rent and shared household expenses.

We are young professionals who work in the CBD full-time in health and finance. We currently live in Lane Cove North and love the area as well as the accessibility to the city, so we would be keen to live in a suburb close by. We are both down to earth, relaxed and clean people who enjoy going to the gym, brunching on the weekends and time to ourselves. We are generally busy through the week so enjoy just chilling out on the weekend. Interested in teaming up with one person to look for a two bedroom, two bathroom place. I have a car so will need a place with secure parking. We will be bringing a couch, washing machine, dining table w/ four chairs, and a number of kitchen appliances.
Friendly, outgoing and tidy female. Enjoy socialising & meeting new people but also thoroughly enjoy my own time. I work full time and play sport 2 nights a week so won't be home too often. Hobbies include; hiking, bike riding, beach, anything outdoors really
My name is Alina. I'm 27 years old and working full-time as a Graphic Designer. I'm an active, very clean person and have a happy personality. Hello! My name is Samantha and I am an Australian living in Sydney at the moment looking to move out. I have lived by myself before and look forward to meeting new people from different backgrounds, cultures and sexualities. Mind you if we're both Australian then there's nothing wrong with some snags on the barby! I am not a party animal and often I will either be working or studying at University. I am in the final years of my degree, looking to move out and spread my metaphorical wings. I come from a background of English and Spanish descendants and happy to help around the house and I am very respectful of other room mates. I am easy-going and friendly, although because I like to read I can be mistaken as being rather shy at times. I like to relax after work either with others or with a good book. I like to cook for others including myself and pride myself on cleaning up the kitchen afterwards. I think the housework chores ideally are taken on my everybody and I am not impartial to celebrating life special moments, for myself and others. I look forward to hearing from you and I hope you're having a great day. See you soon, roommate!
Hi there, I currently live in Canberra but I work in Sydney. I will most likely travel to Sydney on Sunday afternoons and return to Canberra on Thursday evenings, but it will vary depending on my work schedule. Occasionally, I will spend the weekend in Sydney. I have lived in Sydney for the last 10 years in Toongabbie, Baulkham Hills and Wentworthville, however moved to Canberra for a more relaxed lifestyle. Currently looking for a place in Parramatta, the Hills district or Lane Cove areas. I enjoy gym, crossfit and squash. I play a little bit of guitar and piano in my spare time. Looking forward to hearing from you. Steve

Hi my name is Rangi, I'm 22 years old and I'm moving over from Perth in Western Australia. I'll be in Sydney by the end of January 2017, looking for somewhere to live for a long term, 6 months plus. I recently graduated from university, I'm moving over for work purposes. I'll be working full time. I have no major issues about living with a couple, having pets in the house or any food allergies or preferences. I have a few friends who live in Sydney, so there'll be no need to babysit me. Anything else, just ask me about it :)
A yoga teacher and multidisciplinary artist coupled with a UX/UI designer-dev and musician, both working part-time. We blog, vlog, (clog?), code, draw, drum, dream, (dork!), doodle, make plans and majestically procrastinate. We are into yoga starting from ahimsa, compassion, tranquillity, self-exploration & understanding, logic, science of the non pseudo sort, art, culture and ecology. We're both more on the introverted side, but still like spending time with people when the social batteries are charged. We've lived in many countries during extensive travelling and seem to get along best with people that enjoy a clean home. Go figure. We are looking forward to meeting likeminded individuals to live with for the year to come. Rua & Morgan

I am a non-smoker, who likes to keep his house clean and tidy. I am a fitness enthusiast and would love to play a sport or hang out with my flatmates in my free time.
I'm great to live with because I'm quiet and non-judgmental. I can get along with pretty much anybody in pretty much any situation. You sometimes like to cover yourself in jelly and slide across the floor like a slug? That's ok with me.
Hi I'm Aesha & I'm looking for a place for myself & my 2 year old Dogue De Bordeaux. I moved to Sydney a couple of months back & recently scored a job which I'll be at full time for the next 3 months. I am a tidy, trustworthy person who enjoys movie nights, great dinners & the occasional drink. However not looking to stay at a party house! Preferably would like to live with likeminded females. Excited to meet new, down to earth people who can spare a decent room for myself & my fur baby. :)
I'm an engineer working in technical marketing. Recently moved to Sydney from Manila but I’m not exactly new to Australia. I'm easy going, clean and very sociable but I like have private time also. I do a bit of photography and filmmaking on the side so I’m pretty much preoccupied on weekdays. Weekends are spent outdoors or hibernating at home. Prefer to find a room in an apartment but I’m also down to team up to start a new lease. I’m flexible with move in dates as I have only a week’s notice period right now. Cheers!
