Hello my name is Alysia I'm 29 and studying online for the next year. I have just moved over from WA and am looking for a housemate to help out with rent, in hopes of getting a nicer house than whats in my budget. I do have a three month old son full time and my six and seven year old every other week, so I would pay 3/4ths of the rent and take up two rooms. I love a tidy house so would like someone who feels the same and I will never leave dishes in the sink.
Hey guys, I am looking for a potential housemate around mid September (I can be flexible with dates). I am looking at moving close to the city but other suburbs close by are fine too. I work full time, i try to go on adventures on my days off, I spend a lot of time outdoors. I own dogs who are incredibly friendly, I take full responsibility of them and have no intentions of letting them be a burden to any housemates. I love living with tidy, supportive housemates but also love time out to study and the occasional social drink with friends. I welcome any happy, friendly people to send me a message ✌🏻
Hey there, I'm Cara Rose, and a new graduate from JCU, (Nursing). I am working part-time and interviewing for a grad year in Townsville. Originally from America, I've been in Australia for 5+ years now. I like reading, nerding out to my favorite films/TV, the occasional craft beer and, oddly enough, cleaning. Helps clear the mind. For fun I like finding free events around town, (concerts in the park, markets, and such). I love op-shopping: I collect vinyl and antique books. I was a pastry chef for some years, and love cooking healthy treats and snacks for my roommates. Aside from food, I love fitness and try to be as active as possible. I have 2 cats, pickles and gidget, and we're a package deal. They're very sweet and quiet, indoors only. I am quiet and respectful, but do enjoy company and chats. I love to listen to other peoples stories, everyone has a good one or two :) That's me in a very small nutshell. Thanks, Cheers! *sidnote: the move date is flexible as is the location.
I'm bisexual. Single. I work at a massage therapy. I'm tidy. I have a small Labrador female who is 5 years old desexed and is friendly, toilet trained. I enjoy watching TV, movies, gaming, walks along the beach. I'm quiet. I usually keep to myself. I don't mind making friends either.
My names Chantelle, Im studying at TAFE currently towards my cert III in Early Years Childhood and Education. I work part time at an OSHC. I love socializing but also having my own space and time to time. I also love to have a wine or 12 at the weekend!
I am a university student studying bachelor of Nursing and Midwifery so I put most of my time into my studies. I have a part time job where i work anything up to 20 hours a week so will be reliable in paying bills on time. I have allergies to pets so not looking for a place that each flatmate has a pet but open to small dogs that i can get used to :) I am not interested in the party life although a casual beverage here and there never hurt anyone, I am quiet but full of fun at the same time, looking for a change.
Hi, my names Alex and I’m an almost 18 year old female. I am currently enrolled in biomedicine at JCU and would love to transfer to medicine at some point. I work casually at a coffee shop on weekends and spend most of my time at uni. I love to read, play piano, dance, sing and workout (when I get the chance). I’m a pretty laid back person that is very happy to compensate with how other housemates like things done. I am overall clean and respectful but always up for a chat. The ideal home for me would be a female only house situated between uni and Garbutt so that I can have the best of both worlds :)
I'm a 23 year old male, I'm down to earth. Love cooking in the arvo, and i'm pretty big on my fitness. I love a classic frothie on my days off and going for a coffee in the morning. I'm pretty keen on a a good vibe in the house, where you actually can come home and hang out. But I also have times when I will want to chill by myself
I'm a quiet person who keeps to myself, used to doing chores and will be happy to share responsibility for house work. I'm currently living with family and looking to move out on my own. I finished school last year and have just started Tafe.
Hi, I am from New Zealand and have been living on the Gold Coast for the last 4 years. I am moving to Townsville to begin a teaching position at a local primary school. I am a very easy-going person. I am tidy, I respect other people's space and I am always interested in meeting new people. I enjoy music, reading and getting outside for a bit of exercise and socials.
We are an easy-going, clean, friendly, respectful couple looking for a home in 2019! About us... We are studying physiotherapy and occupational therapy at JCU and plan to go on placement for the second half of the year in 2019 which is why we are looking for somewhere to live for the first 6 months of the year. Why we would be the best flatmates you have ever lived with... We are both low key clean freaks and understand that this house is not our own and will therefore give it the full respect it deserves. We would prefer to have our own bathroom but are open to all options.
I've spent half my life in Europe and the other in Australia i got duel citizenship and am in need of a place to stay I consider myself to be very respectful and am looked as to be a great help around the house I love any sort of pets especially cats I Am great with conversations and treating others like family but am also good with keeping quiet and reading the situation Also really enjoys cleaning up when stressed as a tidy house helps me keep my mind straight
Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist specialising in hands. I will eventually be looking for my own place but looking for a short term solution in the meanwhile. I am looking to be based fairly central eg West End, North Ward, Hermit Park, Hyde Park, Belgian Gardens as I don't have a car at present so it's just easier for me as I bike everywhere. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. Jen con's: Well, I'm English so I am a whinger sometimes but its just in my blood, I will argue that "soccer" is called FOOTBALL- we created it guys, I'm not a morning person, I love vegging out watching love island and providing a commentary throughout, I probably wont be able to keep up with you Aussies drinking as I'm a lightweight. Please get in touch if I sound like your cup of tea.... Cheers for reading :)
People tell me I'm easy to live with .. I'm kind, thoughtful, quiet, drama free, independent, sensitive, honest and I always pay my rent. Ive come to Townsville for medical treatment but it's going to take a lot longer than I imagined. In the past, most of my life, I've walked alongside homeless and disenfranchised people in my NSW community. I've lived in my tipi for the past 20 years - until I became unwell. my needs are simple and I'm independent. Im musical and creative. Right now, I need a soft place to land, I have all my own furniture if that works. Im 59, but young at heart .. would prefer to live with a mix of guys and girls or guys only if possible. I have my own car and very good references :-). Thankyou and oh ... I love all kinds of pets unless they bark incessantly ;-) another oh, I don't drink, and have never used drugs. I have excellent references which I am very happy to supply. Looking forward to hearing from you! :-) Have a lovely day, Sunny
