I am a clean and tidy male working FIFO on 8/6 roster, looking for accommodation initially for 4-6 months, may extend depending on situation. I’m easy going, social and get along with everyone. I dont smoke. I am looking for a relaxed, friendly and respectful roommate.
Hi I'm Lydia I'm a 26 year old health professional originally from the UK. I am moving to Townsville in a few weeks for a new job so I'm looking for a place that I can call home that is not too far from the strand, with a like minded professional who is sociable and enjoys a drink or dinner occasionally. If that's you feel free to contact me Lydia x
Hi all, I would describe myself as quiet, respectable friendly and mature. Will spend most of my time studying and working. Just need a place while I finish my diploma at JCU. Don't mind pets at all! Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Kind Regards, Edward.
Hey guys, I am looking for a potential housemate around mid September (I can be flexible with dates). I am looking at moving close to the city but other suburbs close by are fine too. I work full time, i try to go on adventures on my days off, I spend a lot of time outdoors. I own dogs who are incredibly friendly, I take full responsibility of them and have no intentions of letting them be a burden to any housemates. I love living with tidy, supportive housemates but also love time out to study and the occasional social drink with friends. I welcome any happy, friendly people to send me a message ✌🏻
Easy going, doing my masters degree, have a beautiful friendly dog that would love dog company, quiet, like a wine & a chat over a dinner otherwise keep to myself. waiting for my house to be built so looking at 6-12mths.
I am commencing as a PhD student at JCU (I study coral reef fisheries) and expect to be working a lot when I am there. I'm into deep conversations and making authentic connections with people and would enjoy relaxing with a few beers in the evenings. In my free time I like to skateboard, bodyboard, dive, and generally stay physically active. I prefer a flat with A/C and WiFi.
I am very friendly, easy to get along with. Very clean and always willing to help out around the house. I work full time, so my days won't be spent around the house that often. I own a medium sized Staffy, but he is very well mannered and friendly.
Hi guys! I have just moved over to Australia by myself from the UK on a permanent residency. I'm an occupational therapist specialising in hands. I will eventually be looking for my own place but looking for a short term solution in the meanwhile. I am looking to be based fairly central as I don't have a car at present so it's just easier for me as I bike everywhere. I originally came out to Australia in 2008 on a WHV and fell in love with the country so vowed to get back here one day- and I made it- yay me! I'm well travelled having spent approx 5 years working and living in NZ, Aus, SE Asia, Canada and Central America. I love keeping fit- it's very important to me. I go to the gym regularly, prefer to cycle most places rather than drive and practice ashtanga yoga. I'm very excited that there is an ashtanga studio in Townsville as its been hard to find one out of major cities in Australia! I lovveeee my food so totally keen on being shown some fine eateries in the area. Jen pro's :I'm fully house trained, clean, quiet, respectful and super approachable. I'm pretty hilarious if I do say so myself so that'll be fun for you, I am generally up for anything so any activities you've been meaning to do but no one to go with- I'm there, I'll introduce you to some awesome English music, I make really good overnight oats and healthy muffins which I might share. Jen con's: Well, I'm English so I am a whinger sometimes but its just in my blood, I will argue that "soccer" is called FOOTBALL- we created it guys, I'm not a morning person, I love vegging out watching love island and providing a commentary throughout, I probably wont be able to keep up with you Aussies drinking as I'm a lightweight. Please get in touch if I sound like your cup of tea.... Cheers for reading :)
My name is Shian and i have a staffy x lab called Kostah who is a 43kg ball of cuddles. Most of our time is consumed with work, walks and socialising. As for fun I enjoy a relaxing bbq and boardgames night or a day full of cooking and baking. Kostah and I are looking for somewhere reliable and fun to live that we can call home.
Hey there I'm Tom from the United Kingdom. I'm coming to Townsville to do a PhD looking into feral cats in the swamps and woods around the area. I'm an outgoing and gregarious sort of chap. I enjoy going to a pub to chat and socialize as much as I like to go on random adventures and hikes in the outdoors. To unwind I enjoy going to gigs and playing football, but sometimes there's nothing better than settling down with a good book for an afternoon. I'll be getting my own car so road trips are a distinct possibility. I am a respectful housemate and know that when there needs to be quiet time and how to clean up after myself. I'm looking for other students or people of a similar age to live with either moving into a free room or teaming up to find a new place.
I’m easy going, social and live an active lifestyle. I get along with everyone and have been in sharehouses for 5 years with ease. My interests are camping, travelling, and helping the environment. I’m always up for a conversation. Just looking for a relaxed and friendly roommate :)
I'm a second year uni student making the move from cairns to townsville to finish off my degree. I'm neat and tidy and relaxed to live with. I'm use to living in a sharehouse and don't mind socialising with my housemates. Send me a message if you have anything avaliable, thanks.
Chilled out Laid back guy, can keep to myself when need be but also enjoy being social and meeting new people. Work full time Monday - Friday and try to make the most of my spare time. Enjoy anything outdoors. Hoping to find an existing share house somewhere close to the strand or to start one myself with one other person.
Quiet and respectful, happy to have a chat or go and do my own thing. Moving to Townsville on the 14th September for work. Looking for a place for myself and my dog for a couple of months until i find us a permanent home.
Reliable, trustworthy, professional. Common sense and intelligent. Work full time in Townsville for one of the churches, but Brisbane is home base and I return there every 2nd or 3rd weekend. I do work very long hours so I don't know about being 'great' to live with, but I am useful to have around, and enjoyable too according to my nearest and dearest. Just need a small desk or space for one.
Housesitting Profile Hi, I'm Joanne (Jo). Originally from Darwin NT, I relocated to Townsville in Oct 16 to be near family. I have 3 gorgeous kids who've all grown up and still live Darwin. I enjoy reading, gardening, travelling and spending time with my kids whenever I can.
I’m a 20 year old part-time uni student, who also works 2 part-time jobs. Hours are usually set in stone, but may be somewhat flexible. Usually spending time sleeping, studying, exercising, drinking coffee or just chilling out. I’m a very laidback person and happy to hang on the patio on a Friday arvo and socialise, but equally as happy to do my own thing if thats what you prefer. I do like to keep myself tidy, but that’s just me. Will happily help with tidbits around the house. I enjoy cooking, and occasionally make way too much food, so I’m happy to share. Animal friendly and an absolute dog lover.
Hi, I'm traveling from Italy to Australia in search of adventures. I'm looking for accomodation in Queensland. I am friendly easygoing, very clean and tidy. I like having fun and enjoy relaxing. I'm looking for grownup mates who can share a peaceful situation having good time together.
Hi! I'm an undergraduate Biology student moving from the UK to Townsville for my Industrial Placement (Sandwich) Year. I'm looking for somewhere to live within close proximity of James Cook University, where I can then catch a minibus to work. A few of my main interests are SCUBA diving (which led me here in the first place), sports like football and cricket, and as a random fact I'm also big on acting/performing arts. Besides these main loves I also enjoy going to the gym, exploring new places and going to bars and club - responsibly of course! As a housemate I'm super clean, always respectful and I know when to shut up. I also love animals and would welcome any pets with loving arms! I can't wait to move to Townsville and I hope you'll share this excitement so drop me a message! Cheers, Charlie
I'm neat and tidy, I keep to myself, I can be social at times but mostly just like I'm never around but very friendly, bubblie personality, fun of the party n like to have a laugh. I'm 21 years of age, 6'4 n love to be free spirited. Also have like an anxiety of mess a bit but I can control it sometimes haha.
Am a master student returning to uni after 10 years as a journalist and photographer. Studying my passion ... ecology, biology and some marine subjects and hope to get a master in environmental management. Like hiking, camping, diving, kayaking, good food, a glass of red or a beer with friends. Would like a social place with a barbeque, nice people and as a bonus - it would be great with a pool :) but good flatmates is the most important! Looking for a room preferably near the river in douglas or annandale... or near the beach in Town. Hope you have the place. Please call or text me cant listen to voicemail for some reason so please text if you dont reach me. /Maria
Hi! I'm fairly new to Townsville. I work as full time Executive Assistant. I am a very social person who loves to have a chat, meet new people and discover new places. However I also like my down time with Netflix or a movie. I love to cook, but I don't find the time to do this as much as I would like (plus I usually cook way too much for one person!). I am very neat and tidy and quite a laid back person. I respect other peoples privacy, but it would be nice to find flat mates who are interested in a friend, not someone who just pays the rent ☺️
Hello! I'm Jared, a British student living in the Netherlands. I'll be coming to Townsville to work as a visiting biology researcher for 6-8 months in late August, so I'm looking for a temporary home. A bit about me. I'd describe myself as a sociable introvert; I'm a fun and bubbly guy but spend time alone also. I'm a huge nature-lover, hoping to spend a lot of my time outside exploring the wilds of Townsville looking for interesting wildlife. I'm also gay, so I would only like to live with accepting people. Pros: + Positive attitude, fun to be around + Clean (actually work as a cleaner!) + Tidy + Considerate & responsible Cons: - Allergic to fur (no furry pets please) - Allergy to peanuts (housemate(s) would need to be considerate with this, nothing to worry about) If you have suitable accommodation in Townsville and think I sound remotely tolerable, get in touch! Thanks, Jared
Hey there! We are Bryan and Renée and we are about to move up to Townsville from Sydney! We will both be bartending and Bryan will also be working in events and marketing. In our free time, we love hiking (can't wait to explore Magnetic Island!), trying out new recipes, trivia nights, and a good Netflix sesh. We both have years of flatshare experience and check all the boxes of basic humanity - clean, financially stable, respectful of space, and friendly. We'd love to find a place somewhat near the CBD and ideally with some furniture as we won't be moving with any. Cheers - Your future roommates x
Relaxed non smoker who enjoys socialising and me time...I'm well traveled and lived overseas for several years...enjoy the outdoors like mountain biking, trail runs, weekends away, music festivals, touch football and occasional nights out and/or BBQs. I work in the city and have a secure government job. Looking to team up with someone who is easy going, cleans up after themselves and is generally just not mummy's boy/girl... can pay their bills on time and would like to rent a house as close to the city as possible with me and my 8 yo dog...she loves people but not cats...she lays around a lot and I don't expect my flatmate to look after her. If this sounds like you feel free to message me so we can discuss options available...cheers John
I'm bisexual. Single. I work at a massage therapy. I'm tidy. I have a small Labrador female who is 5 years old desexed and is friendly, toilet trained. I enjoy watching TV, movies, gaming, walks along the beach. I'm quiet. I usually keep to myself. I don't mind making friends either.
We are 2 Aussies born and bred in Victoria and have just spent the past 7 months living in a share house in Adelaide. We’ve just made the move up to Townsville and are looking for a place to live. I am a teacher and my partner Harry is a fridgie by trade. We both will be working full time once we have found a place to live. We plan to spend our weekends exploring more of QLD camping, fishing and having a froff. We’re very laid back people who are tidy and respectful of other housemates. Looking forward to meeting some new people to live with and our Townsville experience.
Hey guys I'm needing a room to rent in less then a week. I'm 17 and still go to school. I know that would be a red flag but I make over 500 a week and have help from my mother. I have a pug that is my soul mate and is toitle trained. Im very clean and respectful of others. Message me if you would think I will suit your house. Regards Blair.
I'm a generally cheerful person, and will usually keep to myself unless invited otherwise. I clean up after myself in common areas and try to ensure that my beautiful cat isn't being a pain. She is an inside only cat, well tempered and litter trained. I unfortunately cannot drive so a location near shops and bus stops is a must.
