I'm studying at RMIT currently and looking for a shared accomodation. I'm a vegetarian but do not mind non-vegetarian flatmates. I have been living in Melbourne for over a year now. I'm easy going, friendly, quiet, respectful of others and my surroundings. I adapt easily so I can assure you that you won't regret having me around as I will make it a point to see we're comfortable with each other! Please feel free to ask any questions, I'm more than happy to answer.
I have been living in Melbourne for the past year but I have currently moved back to NSW. I am looking to return to Melbourne ASAP as soon as I get a better job. I would prefer to live in the inner north or the city in a studio apartment.
Hi, My name is Medina Huzejrovic I'm 34 years old; work full-time as a Project Coordinator for ABD Group while completing Masters in Civil Engineering. I am of Eastern European descent (Russian/Bosnian) - was brought up to be courteous, kind and considerate also extremely tidy and clean :) My job is demanding and requires very long work hours (12 hours per day at a min. 6 days a week) - I am up at 4:30 am and generally home sometime after 7 pm. I am very family orientated and treat my friends as if they were family - I believe in respecting and caring for one another so ideally, I am looking for a household which represents those principles. I am very much into keeping fit and healthy (i was a gymnast prior to moving to Australia) so now I practice a lot of Pilates and Yoga and the occasional run when my schedule permits it. LOVE quality nutrition and yummy wines :) However I am not the greatest of cooks ☺️ - however, am always wanting to learn. I would like to join a sharehouse-hold that cares and respects one another. For some, this may sound all too serious, however, of course, like most of us I like to socialize and seek out live music venues. Currently, I am living in Brunswick East, so looking to stay centrally north. I am available most early evenings after work to inspect and meet the occupants; please feel free send me a message with the link to property and your availability - if interested.
Hey! I'm Kassem, a 20 year old danish student I will be studying at RMIT City Campus for a semester, which of course means i have to find somewhere to stay meanwhile. I'm not too picky about the location, but ideally somewhere within reasonable walking/biking distance. I'm a very easygoing and social lad, always providing top tier bants, and I know how to keep things clean and respectful from past housing experience. I love having a good time, and i'm pretty much up for everything you can hit me with! I'd love to live in a house/flatshare with other like minded, preferably also uni students in their 20's who wouldn't mind hanging out occasionally. Looking forward to hearing from you!
First and foremost, I don't know if anything makes me great to live with, but people around me seem to be happy. I think I do a decent job to keep it hat way :P I am a researcher, started my Ph.D. at the University of Melbourne at the beginning of March. I like to relax with a good meal and some TV at the end of the day, eating out when time permits. I am friendly and like to interact with people and will definitely respect your privacy. I like to cook and especially for others on the weekends :) I am a non smoker and drink occasionally, like a neat and clean environment.
Hi I'm Annabel (Annie), a 20 year old student from the UK. I am studying Social Anthropology at the University of Melbourne for the next year. Some things I enjoy include: photography, dogs, going out with friends, glitter, Michel Foucault, cooking ("makes a mean guac" - current housemate), memes, wine, hockey and Step Up 2 the Streets but I am keen to try new things whilst in Aus. I have a big family, and have just spent the last two years living with 7 other people, so I am used to living in big groups (as well as all the mess and noise that entails). It also means that I'm good at cooking for/with others, and keeping clean in a busy place. I'm looking forward to meeting new people and getting involved in a new house.
Hello ! I'm Samuel, a 19 years old french student in political studies, doing a year exchange in Melbourne. I'm looking for a place to spend an awesome time in Australia. I'm pretty easy going, I can also cook quite well. I like chilling home, but also going out. I want to explore everything in Australia.
Hi my name is Sam, I am 19 years old and am currently undertaking an apprenticeship as a chef in the city. I have been living in Melbourne for 6 month where me and one of my friends signed the lease to a unit in Brunswick. I have a passion for cooking so i'm always keen to cook dinners or help out in anyway possible. I am a non smoker and not a heavy drinker though I do enjoy a glass of red wine every now and again. Because of my work I am usually out of the house for most of the day and may not be home till later. Outside of work I enjoy eating out, watching movies, reading, listening to music and relaxing in my room.
Hello! My name is Anna, I am from Moscow. I study Master of Information systems at the University of Melbourne. I am very easy-going and calm person and quiet neighbour. I love reading and drawing. I hope to find an accommodation for a long-term and to meet great people to live together! Feel free to contact me! Cheers
I'm a first year international undergrad student at the Uni of Melbourne currently working part time as a debate coach. I enjoy having interesting conversations and am a fan of both the old school and the modern day eras. I like reading but I also enjoy playing video games, love music from the 80s/90s (Led zepellin, Nirvana, The Rolling Stones) but also don't mind the occasional EDM. I enjoy films and have infact made two short films of my own. Whiplash, The Shawshank Redemption and Pulp Fiction are among some of my favorites. If you have any weird house habits I wont judge lol and I'm usually not a very loud person either so hopefully my activities wont disrupt yours. I try to maintain an acceptable level of tidiness too and have lived in shared accommodation before so I'm familiar with what it entails. Cheers!
I enjoy living with people and sharing a space and company. I study full time and work part time so I'm out of the house a lot but when i'm home I love having chats about music, food, cute animals and travels. I'm a little nerdy and little creative and I love floofy cats and corgis. House trained: I have been living in share houses for 3 years, and have been renting my own place for 12 months. (looking at moving back to share houses as studying again) Stable income: I have permanent part time hours where I have been employed since October 2016. This means I can always pay my bills on time and chip in for household expenses without stress. I have a car : I enjoy household road trips and am happy to drive us to the shops. I have a TV/Fridge/Couch/Turn Table/Heater/house plants/potted herbs, if our house needs any of these or if we set up a place together I've got these sorted. (otherwise i'll likely sell these or let a friend use them if we don't need these)
I am Shivangi from Delhi, India. I am 22 years old. I am coming to Melbourne to pursue masters at University of Melbourne. I am a fun loving girl looking for Indian Flatmates/roommates near the University.
keywords: Belgium, scientist, travelling, sports, happy Hi hi, my name is Niké. I am just (like... today!) graduated as a Bio-engineer at Ghent University in Belgium. I can call myself a city girl, growing up in the beautiful Medieval city of Ghent, although I love to fly away from time to time. I love to discover all corners of the world, with my backpack/dog/bike/tent/hitchiking... So when adventure is calling, I must go. :) Apart from travelling, as my education explains, I like to play with human cells, experimenting on them to find new therapies for human diseases. In short, I am a scientist. An internship in at CSIRO is what calls me to Melbourne - for me, the other side of the world! I have lived in Norway in a share house in the woods by the campus and I loved it! Although I am a bad cook, I always have a positive vibe, never sick and always keen for new adventures. I am pretty clean (although sometimes I like to play in the dirt ;p) an tidy. As long as I can do sports, run, swim and dance, I am happy. :) My spirit is that you can do anything - absolutely anything - that you wish for. As long as you really want it, you will achieve your goals! This is my religion. ;) My life goal is to live fully, make people happy (including myself) and to make earth a better place. Thats me in *hum* short. Nice to meet you!
Hi I'm Gabe! I've moved to Melbourne from Brisbane and am looking for a place to stay. I'm pursuing a career in fashion (focusing on sustainability) so I am learning how to sew and make my own clothes. I also enjoy making music, video and tabletop games, and I'd be really happy to live with any other creatives who have similar interests. As a housemate, I'm clean, tidy and respectful of others' spaces and I always pay the rent on time. While I generally keep to myself I also enjoy hanging out with others at home, or going out and about. If you're interested to have me as a housemate please contact me!
I grew up in Australia but some of my most favourable memories have been outside of Oz whilst travelling! I'm currently a student at RMIT and also work in a contact centre at the moment. In my spare time I love to dance (hip hop) or listen to music (recently got into vinyl records) and last but not least going for a drink with my friends.
I'm very open to new things and new people (I really enjoy meeting new people with different backgrounds and ways of thinking than my self). I prefer a clean and tidy home, but I don't mind a bit of mess during busy periods. I like to think of myself as fairly easy-going and it takes a lot to piss me off (but it's definitely doable if you try hard enough :)). In terms of lifestyle, I tend to prioritize healthy eating and quite a lot of movement/exercise. One thing I value very highly, is being able to move (play sports, workout, go for a run or walk, etc.) with other people - it's one of the best ways of spending time together, in my opinion. That being said, I definitely enjoy some downtime as well, eg. reading a book, playing guitar or having a lengthy conversation. Occasionally, I enjoy a night out with friends, dancing and drinking, but it's not something I do every single weekend. Although, it's not unlikely that you'll see me with a cold a beer or a glass of wine on the weekends. I'm going to study full time at UniMelb for the second semester (july till november) on an exchange program (I'm from Denmark). I definitely wouldn't mind living with people who are not necessarily studying at UniMelb as well, although it's not a requirement.
I'm new to Melbourne and looking for a place to stay! Just moved from Singapore/London and I will be doing a Masters at UniMelb and hopefully working part time. Have been working for the past three years in an HIV/AIDS & women empowerment non-profit, which I loved. I have been in share houses before and know the drill about cleanliness, paying rent and bills on time and also being pals with your flatmates. As I'm new to Melbourne, I'm looking for housemates that are friendly, welcoming and up for a chat - definitely looking for a place where we can become friends and not just housemates. I do also like to spend time by myself in my room and chill out.
Hello there! I am Chaira, 24 years old and I'm currently living the good life in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In November I will start my fulltime masters research internship at Orygen (located at Parkville) for 8 months. Therefore, I'm looking for a nice and chill place to live per October with some nice roommates. Preferably the place includes a shared livingroom and it shouldn't be too far away from the Orygen institute. About me: I'm an easy- going, very social, cozy and friendly roommate. I love meeting new people and making new memories! Further, I like to go swimming and dancing, I really like to cook, I love having coffees and drinks in the city and I like to go out from time to time. Please contact me if you have something nice for me!:)
