Hey! So I'm currently a full time student at Uni Melbourne studying Biochem and Molecular Biology. I'm crazy organized and a lil ocd about messes , though I'd like to think I'm a pretty good cook! I am friendly and at times a little socially awkward. Looking for a place to stay till my undergrad degree is done!
My name is Aiman Fitri and I'm a 21 year old university student currently studying in the University of Melbourne. I've been flat sharing for about 2 years now so I know how to keep a place neat and tidy. I'm really easy going so really I don't mind staying with anyone who can keep a place clean as well. Always open to conversations but at the same time like to keep to myself on the off days. Looking forward to hearing from you guys. Cheers!
If you are looking for a calm, friendly and easy person to live with , I could be a good company. I am originally from India but presently based in Ireland for my PhD. I will be spending a month in June in Melbourne University on a research fellowship. If you like to be around someone who respects your space but also someone whom you would like to go and grab a pint in the weekend or watch a movie, chat about the meaning of life or the color of shoes, I am all in for it :D
Hey I'm Flo and I'm a Registered Nurse from the Gold Coast (QLD). I've been living in Melbourne for just over 2 years now. I have a pretty chilled personality and get along well with other people (and their doggos and cats). When I'm not at work, I'm usually binge watching a series on Netflix, at the gym, reading a book at the park/beach, exploring new places, driving to far places for short distances of time, going out for a few (or many) bevs, attending gigs and festivals or I'm napping (nurse life). I enjoy cooking and usually like to meal prep for the week depending on how busy my week will be. I love having a chat and spending time with my housemates but I also enjoy my alone time too and respect others and their needs. I'm essentially looking to join an already existing share house but I'm also open to team-up! :)
Hey hey hey! I (ash) am a psych student at Swinburne by day and bartender by night. I am sociable, easy going, clean, and an adventurous 22 year old looking for a new abode. I enjoy a beer or bev after work (or uni) and exploring all the pubs, bars and restaurants over melbourne! Bush Doof enthusiast. I am also an aspiring actress and will often be off auditioning or taking workshops! I have all the essential furniture (bed, fridge, microwave, washing machine etc if needed) with the added bonus of a lemon tree and a herb garden!! xxx
I am very clean (not freaky) but like to keep everything neat and tidy. I am from Brazil in a student visa, doing a Diploma in International Business, and also I have some jobs in Hospitality in CBD. I like a good conversation but also enjoy my own space. I very hardly ever drink alcohol at home and on my free time I go to the gym or also enjoy traveling, going to the beach, sometimes reading a book.
You can expect me to be a quiet, considerate flatmate who keeps the place clean and tidy. I enjoy friendly conversation but not so much banter. I'll have friends over on occasion but won't be hosting any parties. Around the house you can expect to see me either playing board games (with you!), studying quietly, wasting my life on the internet, or watching TV series like Black Mirror, Game of Thrones, Westworld, House of Cards, or Doctor Who. I'm studying a PhD in human-computer interaction at the University of Melbourne. Feel free to join me in my quest to discover how artists develop computer-based interactive art in collaboration with technologists.
I am guillaume, a male in my mid twenties, working full time as a travel agent for STA travel. Carlton is actually a perfect location as I am working at Melbourne Uni store. I am passionate with travel, being travelling myself in many parts of the world for a while, I now settle down in Melbourne and got to turn my passion into my daily job, sharing all sorts of travel stories and experiences and sending people overseas for an awesome adventure 🙂 I am a really outgoing and social dude, always happy to hang out and have a chat over a beer or cook a nice meal to share during weekdays. I can actually cook great things and I have a nice top 3 dishes but I also love to experiment putting all kinds of things all together and see what it tastes like 😁. I am also always happy to plan all sorts of day-trips, sports events, chilled afternoon in a park or nights out during week-ends ! Melbourne is still pretty new for me and I am always happy to discover a bit more of this city. I have been living in a few share-houses and I have always been clean and tidy, and always been respectful about my other housemates privacy. Of course not to mention that I will pay rent and bills on time. Guillaume
I'm a friendly, easy going professional who works full time as an ICT manager. I currently live in Tasmania and am moving to Melbourne on June 9th to work at a school in Kew. I enjoy spending times with friends, going to the gym, watching movies, and having a laugh. I'm looking for a room close to Kew (30 min radius), I'll need somewhere safe to park my car and decent internet would be a plus. My very reliable and always pay rent and bills on time.
A bit about myself : My name is Anh, mid 20s and working full time for a petroleum organisation. I work from 8-5 and enjoy hiking, a bit of cooking and a glass of wine here and there. I have been living in share house for the last 5 years so I know all the rules and manners. Work is pretty intense as well so I would love to keep it quiet during the week but also want to make the most of every weekend. Dinner here and there with hoousemates is great too. The bonus part is I come with a Roomba Irobot which can be auto set up to clean the house everyday. :) Also, I have a golden retriever that has been in sharehouse her wholelife and been trained very well. So if you are interested, shoot me a message.
I'm a 30-year-old software engineer working in the city Monday to Friday. I love to play soccer so I am usually training Tuesdays and Thursday night and I usually play games on Sundays. I like outdoors activities such as hiking and cycling, but equally, enjoy nights out and spending time chilling out at home.
Looking for a private room near the University of Melbourne. As an exchange student from Los Angeles, I will be exploring and traveling during my time outside of classes. I'm very neat and friendly!
I'm a french girl from Tahiti, in Melbs since 3 months, here for the next 2 years (enrolled in a Culinary Art school, just a fancy way to say that I'm studying cookery, to be a chef). So what makes me great to live with? Because I am: - Drama free, unless it is gossiping about the neighbors hooking up in front their open window. - Fun to be around, or at least I like to think so! - House trained for several years (+5, USA, Tahiti, Oz), I pride myself with grade A+ skills in Majors paying-rent-on-time, cleaning-after-myself, keeping-the-house-clean, and getting-the-trash-out. Not to mention my Phd in Dishwashing. - In school to learn cooking, so you guys will be the lucky first tester of some of my awesome food creation (don't thank me yet) - Bartending is my way to survive in this world. So yes, I will make sure to get our Mimosa ready for Sunday brunch sesh, and our espresso martinis for some (occasional) chill after work sesh. - Creative type of person, I pretty much created the DYI concept. Haha jokes aside, I just like to be creative with whatever I can find/get! Can turn a shit-whole into a fairy castle, no kidding. - Not a party animal, well very occasionally I still am, like to have a little breakfast club sesh once in a while. Also, I never blackout, so I will make sure to remind us all our inglorious (still fun tho) drunk moments. - Environmentally-conscious, I learned since very young how to use a light switch. - Vegetarian, I don't need much space in the fridge, I will just grow my salads in the garden. - Used to be called a social-butterfly, a people person, tbh I never really understood why, I don't like people, and that's the reason, in fact, I am looking for other fellows to share a space. ........... I am also fluent in sarcasm. 🤓 Hope my intro made you smile, a bit ... if not, no drama, no hards feeling, I had fun writing it. Last thing. Super flexible on moving date, don't mind waiting for the right place, but would love to move asap. Also, have 1 month bond + 1 month rent ready to go. Have a good one and happy flatmates hunt! Timothee (and yes, I am a girl, with a guy name, confusing I know)
Hey there, I'm a friendly flatmate reigning from Wollongong, New South Wales, looking to move to Melbourne for university (I'm looking at studying a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Zoology) ! I'm very organised and tidy, and really enjoy getting to know new people. I'm also hard-working and reliable. My hobbies are centred around my love for art, music and nature - especially animals, so I'd be cool with any kind of pets you may already have !
Hello! I'm Emily. I'm almost 29 years old. And, I will be doing post-grad coursework at the University of Melbourne starting in July. I'm so excited to be moving to Melbourne! About me: born in Alabama but lived most of my adult life in California, former U.S. Navy, love to: cook, read, run and hit the weight room, ride and work on motorcycles (yes, you read that correctly), travel, listen to music, see plays/shows, watch movies, enjoy a good cup of coffee or glass of wine, and I'm slightly pilates obessed. I'm responsible, financially stable and independent, health-conscious (non-smoker, mostly vegetarian diet), respectful of privacy, clean and organized 1) LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! CARLTON, FITZROY, NORTH CARLTON, NORTH MELBOURNE, BRUNSWICK EAST, PARKVILLE and COLLINGWOOD. Short walk/public transit commute to the University of Melbourne and near free tram zone. Would love to be in a location close to coffee, a great gym and shopping, you know all the good stuff. 2) I study at home (mainly me staring at a laptop and writing far too much), so I need a private bedroom with enough space for a desk too. And though I like to socialize occassionally, I am looking for a relaxing space with ideally no more than 3 other flatmates total. A private bathroom would be nice, but I'm willing to share a bathroom with 1 other person. I've lived with couples, all girls and mixed guy/girl houses. Overall, I actually think mixed houses are the most fun, but I'm open to living with pretty much anyone who is genuine and respectful of space and privacy. Housing must have internet/internet capability and a laundry washing machine. Big, nice kitchen. Hopefully, some bit of communal garden, patio or outdoor space. Willing to go up to $400 a week for the right spot, but price must match quality. 3) My program is 1.5 years,so if I found the right spot, I'd be happy to stay longer than 6 months. Though I will not have any pets, I love animals! So, if you have a house-trained doggy or kitty, I'm totally fine with it. Would love for my housemates to become good friends. And will someone please teach me how Aussie Rules Football works! I'm dying to see some games and learn about the sport. I ask that any housemates be respectful, responsible and clean up after themselves and, I will hold myself with the same standards. Thank you for taking the time to read this and consider me! :)
Hey! We're two psychology students from Norway who are going to study at University of Melbourne for one semester (from July to November). We've been friends since we started studying at University of Bergen in 2014. Vivian is very tidy and clean, and Anders is also tidy and clean most of the time hehe :) We're both very sociable, caring and love having fun. Of course, we're also serious students. Occasionally... It's kind of difficult to tell you what we like to do, because we're both interested in culture, news, politics, technology and so on. We're just really adaptable, and willing to try new things. We're the kind that can stay home an evening to watch movies, go on a full night party or even a hiking trip. The keyword is "variety"! We're not going to be in Melbourne until the start of July, but would love to move in to the flat as soon as possible. We would love an apartment with two bedrooms for ourselves, but we don't mind sharing flats with other likeminded people either! The most important part is that the flat is at a convenient distance from the university, is clean and tidy and at a convenient price! We're willing to pay around 350$ pw each of us. Feel free to contact us if you want to know more about us! Best regards, Anders and Vivian
My name is Amena. I work part-time (4 days) as a membership support officer at a professional registration body based in Fitzroy North. When I'm not working, I go to a local gym and I like attending events around Melbourne, such as talks, food festivals, and music gigs. Occassionally, I host a few music shows on radio. I am soft-spoken, but social, and I like my living spaces to be clean and kept clean. I believe in open communication between flatmates, as well as shared and individual responsibilities with regards to our duties and living spaces. I like to organise some food of my own as I have fructose and lactose intolerance as well as gluten sensitivity. I will not be having any living area furniture with me. I do not have any pets of my own. I do seem to have a pet allergy to some cats, but nothing a little antihistamine can't fix.
I'm a recent Uni graduate (bachelor of Arts, specialising in fashion) and have recently moved to Melbourne. My plan is to find work, then go up the career ladder in my own field when opportunity allows. I'm tolerant of other cultures, lifestyles, etc. I mind my own business normally. I'm pretty quiet, I don't drink to excess, I have never smoked and never taken illegal drugs. All I ask for is a room, bed, wardrobe and somewhere to put my computer. I would like a private room in an existing share house. Sorry, not interested in teamups or room sharing. Dealbreakers: - nowhere to store my clothes or set up a desktop computer - smoker who smokes inside - illegal drug use - intolerant / nasty
