Born and bred in Melbourne but moving to Sydney in January for work and looking for a place to call home. I am pretty social and love having a glass of wine at dinner or checking out some local cafes for the best coffee. I am ideally looking for an unfurnished room in a house/townhouse in the inner west, with some like-minded people.
Hello :) :) :) I am great to live with as I have lived all over the globe, literally, since I was a kid! I was a Diplomat Brat and have been to school in places such as Singapore..Indonesia & NZ.. The list goes onnnnn and onnnnnn. As an adult, I caught the travel bug and am an online coach and travel the world with my son, aged 3. He's a pretty chill dude, and very respectful of furnishings and space, as he has been to 11+ countries since 6 weeks of age, and more airbnbs than we can count! :) I am currently in Glasgow, UK. Returning to Sydney and wish to stay LONG TERM , ideally 6-12 months in a house, (hopefully longer if we get the right dynamic). I work from a co-working space (The Hub) during the week, and my son attends a preschool 4 days, with a view to 5 in January 2019. We are out and about A LOT (coworking space events...parks..playgrounds...all the free events Sydney has to offer etcetcetc). I have to say that I can afford our own place, and I did this pre moving to the UK, but honestly, after living with people again, I can see my son and I thrive on it and it gets pretty isolating as a solo parent! I'm a pretty chill person. In saying that, I like to tidy up, clean, and cook a lot! (Don't worry, I don't care if you do or not, I just like to ;-). ) *SUPER OPEN MINDED *RESPECTFUL *RELAXED *LOVE COOKING *FINANCIALLY STABLE *SOCIAL *SUSTAINABLE *DIRECT & AMAZING COMMUNICATOR (no passive-aggressive post-it notes or txts, ugh) *LGBT friendly *Great music collection, particularly DRUM AND BASS! I get that living with a 3 year old (***HE'S THREE, THE THING WOULDNT LET ME ADD HIM UNLESS HE WAS 16 YRS OR OLDER-HAHAHA) is not everyone's idea of an ideal housemate, and yet I encourage you to meet us, and then judge for yourselves! I come with good references and referees, as does my little dude, just ask :). *I also have a fair bit of furniture (dining table/butcher's bench/couch, artwork) which is in storage in Sydney at the moment, from our last home. I guess I'll tell you about my favourite living arrangements that seemed to work best for us: BERLIN WAREHOUSE *We had a massive room and ensuite *The house was full of DJs and artists (perfect for my son to enjoy company and they were always making noise themselves, so didn't mind much what he was up to) *we got to be social and have company, but also enough space to retreat when we wanted GLASGOW HOUSE *This was a small space with one other gay woman and her cat. She worked a lot at a bar. When she was home, we were social and shared a vino or three while my son played. Will miss this place!! My son loves all animals and loves giving the dog a walk if you have one ! Spaces that DIDNT work: * People who are allergic to kids (they exist) *Toxic people who are low vibe and negative *If you communicate passive-aggresively via sms or post it notes and have no communication skills *Uptight/super anal people *If you are a light-sleeper (sometimes he wakes up at 5am, that's kids for you) ---Haaaa! That's what earplugs and wine are for riiiight? Looking forward to hearing from all the high-vibe lovers who'd be keen to setup a great space together or already established a space for us to add to! Looking for somewhere to live that would be suitable / private enough for me to be able to stay with my baby. I'm currently 4 months pregnant. I guess the ideal situation would be sharing a place with another expectant mother or a place with another parent or someone who wouldn't mind sharing with a woman and a baby. I'm a very friendly, bubbly, mature minded and considerate person. No longer employed as I've been quite Ill through my pregnancy however do have some income and savings so paying rent and bills etc, would not be an issue.
Hey, I'm Grant I'm moving to Sydney for work and was looking for a nice place to live with some good people. I'm 22 and just graduated from university in Brisbane. Love a good coffee and getting to meet new people. Will be pretty busy with work but in the off days would like to explore Sydney and see some new things. Working right in the city so if there's public transport close by that would be wonderful. Grew up right near the beach so love to go for a swim and hang out. Love a bit of sport as well. Thanks
I'll be commencing my Masters degree at The University of Sydney in February 2019. I love hiking and the outdoors and I get along well with active people. I am quite particular about cleanliness and I'll probably cook for you if we get along well :) I have travelled to 25+ countries I am very open-minded and accepting of different cultures and people. I don't smoke or party, but I'm always up for a glass of wine. Or two. Or three. If you think I'd make a good flatmate, message me!
Hey! I'm 23 years old, I work as a full-time mechanical engineer in product development, so I'm always working on cool stuff. I'm quite neat and tidy and can keep to myself. Although I am a sucker for some top banter and a few snags on the BBQ. I don't mind some trashy tv or reading a few books inside, but I do live a pretty active and healthy lifestyle too. Looking for a room to occupy or some people to find and rent a place with :)
Hey, I'm a 24-year-old Music Producer moving to Sydney from England on a Working Holiday Visa 21st November. Staying in a hostel for two weeks, so will be able to move in somewhere 6th December! I'm a Clean, Tidy & Easy-going guy. I like to have fun and socialize, but also enjoy my own space as well. Looking forward to meeting new people, and the right people to start my Australian journey with!
Hi! My name is Lucy and I work in IT. I enjoy going to F45 / the gym, playing video games, reading, watching movies (especially horror and action) and drinking the occasional Guinness. I am down to earth, LGBT friendly, animal friendly and enjoy quiet nights in with a glass of wine / bottle of beer, some Netflix and video games. Not a big party / clubbing person either. I currently live at home with my parents in Mosman, but I am looking to move out next year. I am considering getting a few cats or a dog when I move, but if this causes an issue, I can wait until I live alone. I am a big animal lover and I currently own a dog which would stay with my parents, so it would be great to meet a fellow animal lover. I am easygoing and enjoy a laugh, and if we become friends while rooming together, then that is an ultra plus too! Always up for making friends, especially new video game / movie buddies.
I’m very tidy and clean. I’m a Brazilian girl who is always happy and positive! Definitely not a party girl.Sometimes I go out for dinner with friends.I’ve been studying and working hard last few months and might be in the same routine next year!
I'm a 23 year old female, looking for a place to move into early January. I'm an engineer who works full time in the Sydney CBD. I enjoy hanging out with people and having a good time, though I definitely enjoy having my own space and quiet time at home. I spend my free time primarily reading, looking after my plants or working out. I'm looking for a long term place to live that is vegan friendly (living with other vegans is ideal, though I am also open to living with vegetarians). Ideally the place will offer an easy commute to the city for work. I would also prefer my own bathroom, though am flexible for the right fit! I am always happy to help out at home, am easy going and clean.
Hi, I’m Alex and I’m a 27yo finance professional working in the CBD. I’m looking for a relaxed but social place to live, where people are happy to hang out but also fine with the fact I may just come home and crash after work. I always clean up after myself and take care to keep shared spaces neat. I hope I fit the bill and look forward to chatting with you.
I'm a laid-back journalist who just scored a job with Channel 9, so am relocating up to sunny Sydney! I've lived all over the world (and always in share houses, of course), growing up in Spain, Mexico, and Holland. Despite my travels, I never lost the accent.. in fact, it seems to be getting heavier. I'm super friendly and outgoing, but I also love spending alone time in my room going down internet rabbit holes. Love a good wine and yarn, beer gardens are my best friend and I'm a big book reader. Looking for like-minded housemates who are occasionally social, and just as relaxed as I am! Keen to hear about my housemates lives and days, and occasionally hang out in a nearby sunny spot :)
Hey, I am 23yr old student from Europe looking for a clean and quiet place to rent in Sydney long term. I am clean my-self and friendly, living on my own since 16, not smoking or drinking, focused on sports, studies and work so would not spend lots of time at home. Would you be interested? If so, let's catch up on
On top of being a domestic goddess and exquisite hot beverage-making skills, I come with close to a decade of share-housing experience! Originally from Southwest Victoria, formerly of Sydney’s Inner West and currently residing jn Geelong, I’m a 25-year-old freelance creative looking to relocate back to the Harbour City to pick up my career where I left it after an extended sabbatical. I like getting outdoors to do a lot of photography and sometimes staying in to sketch in my spare time - but I’m never against the odd meal, chat, drink and/or Netflix binge with housemates. Besides creative pursuits and being outdoorsy, I enjoy the odd video game (I come bonus with a PS4), quietly reading in the sun and come with enough general knowledge to make starting a house pub trivia team a practical benefit. If you think that’d I would be a welcome addition to your home, send me a message!
Hey! My name is Hayley and I'm a current Enmore resident whose flatmates are moving to Canberra in the new year, so I am taking the opportunity to explore and meet new people with whom to live! I am a music teacher and bush regenerator and love to read, talk politics, and go on long walks to catch Pokemon (still stuck in the 90s)! I'm also really into horse riding. I'm a quiet and respectful housemate who functions well with a cleaning roster (!) and maintains everyone's plants around the house. I'm interested in finding a share house if possible (rather than a flat or apartment). I’m looking for a friendly safe home, one that is lgbt+ friendly and feels like home. One complication is that I am looking for a pet friendly house as I am getting a puppy soon for mental health reasons. (I want to just add that any dog of mine would be house trained and, if there was yard space, would spend most of its time outside). I also come with my own bedroom furniture so do not require a furnished room! I am free to move any time from now onwards, until January. So if you’re interested in teaming up or you think you have a place for me, don’t hesitate to contact me!
I am quiet, respectful, polite and I like to keep things neat and tidy. I’m a nutritionist so I’m pretty busy most days mon-fri and usually like to chill on the weekends or catch up with friends. I’m studying part time at Sydney Uni and saving for my home deposit and would like to share with other like minded people. I’m into sustainability, saving money, kirribilli markets, and like pets dogs and cats do not bother me as long as they are toilet trained! I’ve lived in shared accomodation mostly in London when I lived there. Whilst I do lead a busy life I am not opposed to having a chat or the occasional flat mates dinner. Look forward to hearing from you.
We are a couple from Melbourne, looking to settle in Sydney in the next months or two. One a full time working professional and one a part time professional + post grad uni student; we are super friendly and easy going, love a good chat/drink but also respect personal space/privacy; we love outdoor adventures like going hiking, surfing, and fitness; we have a lovely doggo who loves pats and is fairly low maintenance. We love a neat and tidy house and are generally good fun to be around :)
I'm clean and tidy, maybe sometimes not that much for my room, but i like to keep the common area as clean and tidy as possible, i'm funny, honest and reliable guy that is a bit shy at first. I like enjoy movies night or dinner with friends for a night in or get a few drinks in a nice place with good music, if there is a live is even better!!! I consider myself a different kind of traveler.....used to live between England and Scotland, for about 4/5 years trying to travel as much as i could, in Australia now for more then a year, already visited few place and i hope to get the chance to visit more
Brazilian girl, 30 year old looking for a single room. Really well organised and friendly. I would like to live in an apartment where I can call home. Sharing with others who I can have a really good relationship.
Hi! My name Samantha Tom Cherian and I'm an international post grad student at the University of Sydney. I'm 22 years old and am a very outgoing person. I am a very accommodating person and love interacting with different kinds of people. I am a full time student who is currently looking for a part time job. In my spare time I love reading, watching movies and the enjoying the occasional nightlife. I am obsessed with exploring the world, meeting new people and trying new things. Life is all about the experiences right?! As a foodie I love to dabble in cooking although I may not be great at it. I usually start each day with exercise, breakfast and then getting on with my uni work. Classes are in the evening for me so that's when I'll be out mostly.
