Hey :) Rent in Sydney is super expensive so we thought it would be good to meet another couple and see about sharing a place? :) Adrian, 35 full time Electrician and entrepreneur. Lizie, 24 full time Barista. We've been together over 2 years, we're pretty relaxed, very clean, both into fitness and enjoy the occasional drink ;) We're looking for a 2 bed place in the inner west and are able to furnish a place. If anyone's interested in finding a place also just give us a messege :)
I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Science at Sydney Uni and working part time to save up for a holiday at the end of the year. Due to this I'm usually working pretty hard but I'm always down to hang out and am looking for new friends to go out to bars and clubs with.
Clean, tidy, considerate and flexible. I like a chat but respect everyone's own time/space:)
Hello, I'm George! I'm 22 years old & have recently started full-time work in Sydney. I'm looking to find a groovy place with awesome housemates close(ish) to the city. I've flatted with 2 girls in England, 18 people in Mexico, and a bit of everything in between... I know what it means to be a good roomie :) I would love if I could become good mates with the rest of the house!
Seeking a room for a couple between $250-400 AUD. Twin shared or private couple room either is fine. New zealander and Japanese couple moving to Sydney. I have been offered a job in IT/japanese speaking role in the CBD and my girlfriend is lined up to finish a hospitality diploma while working part time. I don't know sydney that well and at this stage I'm open to any location that would allow a 30 minute (from door to door) commute to Kent street (my office is near the corner of Kent st and Erskine Street). Personality wise, we are both mature, sociable and enjoy having a healthy balanced lifestyle. Our hobbies include: cooking, exercise and spending time in nature (sun/parks/beaches ) , gardening and the occasional dvd. I have a job offer to work in Sydney but the 1st 2 weeks are in San Francisco at the headquarters of the company. After the 2 weeks I fly straight to Sydney and start working around July 17. Because I have to start working immediately I would prefer to have accommodations sorted before going. If accommodation fits my requirements and I can exchange some messages with the owner I would be open to paying $50 or so per week from now until I arrive in order to make a hold on the room. We are not party people and definitely want to live with other people who don't play loud music etc. Other notes: Bonus points for a location that has a fish shop nearby. Do not intend on buying a car. I have written "1 year" but we would definitely consider a location that was 5 months or longer especially if it was furnished. No drugs/smoking. Would like a location that has some form of outdoor area that gets sunlight. (balcony, courtyard, garden etc.) Would like a location that has an oven and a gas stove top. (Don't like using an electric one). Both perfectly fine with pets. especially cats. I am happy to give out information such as facebook profile or LinkenIn Profile via message so you can find out more about me or Mikiko.
I work full-time as a nurse so I do a lot of shift work and will hardly be at the house. I currently live in Perth but recently visited Sydney and enjoyed myself so much that I've decided to move there. I am looking to move over towards the end of July 2017 as I dont want to break my lease. 6months is my minimum stay as I dont want to relocate whilst starting my new job. I would really like a furnished room but I can buy my own furniture if necessary. It would be nice to live with someone close to my age and doesnt mind showing me around Sydney. I respect personal space but always up for some banter if needed. I keep things clean and like to cook so you can enjoy a few nights off in the week. I'm usually at the gym before or after work or catching up with friends. I'm easy to live with and have been renting for 5 years with other tenants. I know it can be difficult sharing so I like to keep things straight up. If I do something that bothers you then approach me all feedback is good.
Hi guys, I'm a recent graduate and a full time employee in Sydney. I have been living in Sydney for two years and I am planning to move into one of the suburbs near my office which is in Macquire Park. I'm an easy going and fun loving bloke who wouldn't mind catching up on a drink or cook a meal for my dear house mates over the weekends. I am looking for a share house with matured, full time working and understanding housemates who have the same mind set. Embrace me in the right way to find my lovely housemates! Cheers.
Hi all, The lease at my current place runs out at the end of July so I'm looking for somewhere new! I'm a 25 year old Perth girl who moved to Sydney a few months ago. I work in marketing and usually pretty busy during the week, so pretty chilled Monday - Friday. Still pretty new so would love to share with some friendly, chilled people of a similar age. Pretty flexible on location as long as it takes less than an hour to get in to the city for work! Somewhere with easy parking is preferable as I come with a car :) Any questions just pop me a message :) No shared rooms please! Thanks, Melanie
I'm Amanda and I've been in Sydney since the beginning of march and in 15th of July my boyfriend Erick is coming to join me discovering Sydney!! We are a outgoig and peacefull couple from Brazil, who likes to enjoy the outdoor life and know new places, people and cultures. We'r looking for a nice place with good people to live with and have enjoyable moments!!
French engineer, long term working on Sydney Driverless Metro project, remarkably positive and easy going, quiet, obliging, non-smoker. I train in F45 each day prior to work. Currently living in hotel: flexible on move date. Looking for long term preferably furnished room, in North Sydney train station area, preferably in a house (but it's not a showstopper). I used to live in flatshares when I was student, and later, and enjoyed it.
Hi I'm Nick! I'm looking for a flexible/ short term place to stay at the end of June/ early July. I'll be finishing my masters in renewable energy engineering and want to get a feel for different suburbs before I decide on a long term lease! *I'm also interested in Boat sitting if you know of anyone wanting a former Naval Propulsion Engineer looking after their vessel.* I work in Solar Energy and will be starting a little Gracie Jiu- Jitsu coaching in July too. I am environmentally and energy conscious, love the outdoors and a quiet place away from traffic noise. light sleeper, healthy lifestyle, decent cook, open minded. *A non smoking house is a must.* I don't have a car, but I have a bike that I use everyday. I clean when things are dirty, and have been trained to leave the seat down if needed :-) I'm an open book so shoot me a message! I may not respond immediately because I'm hammering assignments right now.
Hey :)! I am moving to Sydney in June to start a new role with the media company I work for. I am originally from Melbourne but have spent the last year in lovely Adelaide. I am easy-going and enjoy being able to have good chats with the people I live with, but also respect other people's space. For fun I love to check out gigs, go for runs and hikes and catch up with mates over meals or drinks.
Hi Guys, Just putting feelers out for a possible room to rent in mid July. Will need to be close to public transport as I work in Circular Quay as a Wedding and Events Coordinator. I am quiet and extremely tidy! I don't smoke or party but enjoy a wine and dinner when I'm home.. Usually go at gym after work. I prefer a furnished room with a queen bed, not wanting to live with any pets or a smoker unless the door is alway closed. I do own a car so will need on or off street parking!
Fun and happy housemate, like fitness, love to travel, very clean and tidy, like cooking dinner and drinking wine. Only been in Sydney 9 months, originally the U.K. , was living in Surry Hills prior to this move. I am ideally looking in North Sydney area as it's closer to work. I would love to be friends with my new housemate/s, certainly not looking for a quiet house where everyone leaves eachother alone (although clearly we all need space). So send me a message / phone call if you have a room or would like to live with me and look for a place. Please don't waste my time if you're looking for someone to live with your family in the spare room etc, I am a young working professional looking for similar housemates! Cheers S x
G'dday mate :D I'm a teacher just moved from England to Sydney, looking a nice room in a friendly and clean shared place. I'm sociable and looking forward to exploring my new city. I like to cook a bit and happy to share meals if people want that, or just leave people jealous if they don't ;) Would be good to get to know some new folk :) In terms of what I like to do for fun, I like to swim, walk, and am up for anything that will get me on the path to physical fitness. Love eating a bit too much, like the movies and the occasional drink out. I've never surfed or dived, both of which I'd like to try sometime.
My friend and I are moving to Sydney in the second week of June. We will be pursuing our masters at Macquarie. We're looking for a decent house with friendly flatmates. Very easy going ,Tidy and open minded people. Open to teaming up also!!
Hi, potential future roomies! Allow me to introduce myself - I'm Mark, I'm 31 years old, I'm a doctor by trade, and I'm looking for a couple of sound professional types who have their own sh*t together, but who are open to creating a happy home environment. Thinking one girl, one guy might be a good mix. Due to the nature of the job, my hours are probably a little more erratic than most, and I've got some things I need to finance later this year, as well as a professional exam I need to sit at the end of the year, so there may be good chunks of the week when I'm busy, but still, when I'm around, I'm tidy, easy going, and generally good value. I'm entirely happy doing my own thing if people have got their own stuff to do, but at the same time, I'd like to live in a place where we do more than just give polite hellos to each other every day. I'm not really up for all-night raves at the flat, but I'm sure we can fit in the occasional late night chat over a bottle of something. What else to tell you? I tend to read a lot, I can cook pretty well, I play the piano (don't worry I've got headphones for the keys I have), I'm sociable but don't really have the time or stamina to party like when I was young, I don't smoke, very much a dog man, and I've started running quite a lot recently as well. If you want to know anything more, just ask.
Hi new flatmate 😊😊😊😊 Im Luisa 36yo, south american girl but living in my 'big island' for tge last 9 years so, i feel pretty comfortable with english speakers 😊😊😊 I work full time in Pyrmont in finance. My interests are around outdoor activities, keep fit, gym and eat healthy. My days of party hard are over but still can enjoy a glass of wine, going out for dinner or enjoy a live music band in the local pub. Im easy going, i like to keep things tidy and clean, i leave home early and back late because i do some sort of exercise before/after work. Im looking more than just a room, i like to talk and laugh but also respect other people privacy but i also enjoy a nice meal with some company.... My budget is between 300 to 370 pw incl bills 😆 I want to stay close to work (pyrmont) so looking for a place around 4 to 7km away.😉😉😉 I have a car so, flexible parking on street will be great. In terms of moving date, i believe i need to give 2 weeks notice but happy to pay double rent for one week while i move the stuff, im looking to move sometime after or around 17.... 😕😕😕 Ooohhh and tge size of the room is important, i need to put my bicycle in.... no worries i have sheets to protect the floor/carpet and a furnished bedroom will be a plus 😊😊😊😊
Hygienic and respects personal space. In terms of employment, I am a full-time software developer working regular hours. My primary hobbies include music, gaming and cooking. I highly value personal space but do not mind regular social interactions; with one of my favorite pastimes being a chat over good coffee.
