Heya! I'm looking for 5-6 weeks accommodation in and around Sydney from march 13th. I've recently graduated and will be starting my induction with NSW Ambulance in Rozelle. I'm clean, reliable and respectful. I'm also pretty sociable and enjoy having a laugh - very easy going. If you have anything that may suit these dates, please send me a message!
Hey, I am an easy-going student (postgraduate) from Freiburg Germany in my last year (Environmental Sciences). From 24th of February I am coming to Sydney for an internship at the University of Sydney. On 1st of May I'll leave for New Zealand. I am looking for a small, private room, as I'll be at Uni most of the time. I like to do sports, cook or just have a glass of beer/wine in good company. I've been living in flatshares the last six years, so that's not new for me. If there are any pets in the flat, that's fine for me. Also I lived in Sydney during my undergraduated studies in 2014. Simon
Hi... I move back to Sydney in 28th of February, I'm professional in electrical industry. (non smoker- no children- I have no pets but I love animals) I love cooking meals and healthy foods and enjoy playing basketball, working, shopping and having fun, I have outgoing personality, well organized and flexible, clean, tidy and pretty quiet person. I'm looking for a room or property to rent at least for two months or more. cheers-Josh :-)
I'm a USYD student, clean and tidy, living a regular life. I'm an easygoing and independent person, for most of the time, I'll study in Uni, so won't bother other flatmates too much.
Hi, I'm a 21 year old student from London, moving to sydney very soon. I'll be studying at University of Sydney from Feb - July and am looking for a place to stay near the campus. I am looking to explore my new city and am sure I will love it there. My favorite things to do are going out to eat (or a takeaway if I'm feeling lazy!) going for drinks and socializing. I will be balancing this with my studies! I'm fun, laid back and respectful of others. I'd like to live with other students ideally, but am all so happy to live with under 30s who aren't studying. Lydia x
Hello! We are three full-time health professionals (2 of which will be sharing a room) looking for at least 2 other relaxed and tidy people to go house hunting with in the inner west. The rough plan is to be finding a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom place together for a late March or early April move, where you would be on the lease along with a very cute dog and cat. The upper end of our group budget is around the $1200 mark which will initially divvy up to at least $300 each, less when I (Nadia) move in after finishing up a contract in Newcastle in July, and even less if we find another couple (so, couples very welcome!) We are a chilled bunch, prone to the odd drink after work but never obtrusive or lazy with common area cleaning. Expect the house to be quiet a bit of the time as 2 of your housemates are shift workers. We would love to meet anyone who thinks they would suit the vibe of the house, and get started organizing inspections over the coming month! P.S, as we haven't nabbed a house yet, the costs of each room hasn't been set. Happy to negotiate this further for couples once we start looking for houses :)
After new family member for your share house? Pick me! 26 yr old working professional female. Seeking a homely and comfortable place to rest my head. Open-minded, easy going and friendly are all desires for my new family. As I'm new to Sydney (from Brisbane) exploring is to be expected and any travel guides/buddies that want to tag along are welcome! Wine and good food are two things to be enjoyed together or separately and always in good company whenever possible. Love board games, trivia and Netflix. Ex-computer gamer seeking some coffee lovers, and I'm happy to try new things. I work for a developer with a urban planning background (architectural/engineering/legal). Ideally after a house/apartment 5-10 mins walk from the train station with parking available (street or off-street). Built-ins or large wardrobe a must, with a Queen bed (can bring my own if needed). Air con/heating for those bad days would be preferable. Contact me for your next family member!
I'm a very easy going guy whose lived with housemates for years back in Ireland where we had great craic over that time! Well capable of looking after a place and keeping on top of the cleaning and whatever needs to be done. I have a decent sense of humour and like to be social but also keep quiet and take it easy as i'll be working full time. Hoping to make some new friends as I'm moving from Ireland and planning on living in Australia for a number of years. Give me a shout if you'd like to know more about me.
I will be in Sydney from April to August working on a musical theatre production at the Capitol, and will return to Brisbane at the end of that contract. My work is 6 days a week, mostly nights and weekends, so if you work 9-5 you'll never see me. I will be travelling light and may or may not bring a car, depending on the location of my temporary digs. Shorter term is ok too.. I don't mind moving a bit during my stay. I'm reliable, responsible, neat. I'm a gay, middle-aged guy.. sane, intelligent, nice!
I am a 22 year old about to start a masters at Syd uni. I am pretty sure the masters life will require plenty of coffee and confused facial expressions...but in the midst of it all I love a glass of wine and prefer drinking it with fab company! I'm sociable but I do need my own space and am really aware that others in the house will as well. I can rent the place from the 24th Feb...is this too late. I can pay bond/ rent upfront now? I make a badass vego curry AND i'm originally from England and offer tea to people ALOT so you would never be thirsty if I was your housemate. Please help me find a home! Odette xxx
Hey! My names Zora, I'm on exchange from the US until July. I'm easy going, happy go lucky, and personally pretty clean but don't really mind messes. I'm looking for a mostly furnished place, and if you own a pet that's even better ^.^ While not studying I want to travel or just hang out so it'd be nice to live with flat mates who are also on that same vibe. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hello there, I am from Perth originally and recently I've decided to make a big life change and moved to Sydney. So I've sold everything I had in Perth and came to Sydney with a few suit case and two dogs. I have no friends or family in Sydney and would definitely like to share a place with like minded people and possibly meet some people along the way. My only family are my dogs. I have two small crossbreed dogs. A Pomeranian x poodle and a shitzu x Tibetan spaniel. Both are 6 years old and well trained. They are indoor dogs and loves food, kisses and cuddles. Both dogs are hypoallergenic and are indoor dogs. I am a young professional (age 29) finding my way in this fast pace city. I am very clean and tidy. Some may say I am a clean freak. I rarely go out but seeing that I am in Sydney, definitely would love to see the city a little bit more whether it is at night or day time providing that we don't have work. I like to hang out and chill at the beach as well. I am adventurous and spontaneous, usually I don't ponder around and wait for things to happen. I would like to meet and live with like minded people and share my journey living in Sydney together and to make the house a homely feel. Definitely would like to rent a house / townhouse together with someone rather than renting a room, however, beggars can't be choosers. Preferably a house / townhouse rather than an apartment. Thank you for reading :)
28 Female Baker extraordinaire Medical student Currently living in Stockholm (Sweden) on medical elective but returning to Sydney in March & looking for inner west accommodation Have lived in share houses for a decade so very house& bill trained
Hello everyone! I'm looking for a house share in CBD or close to CBD or North Sydney. I am an accountant and work in finance in CBD. I'm an easy going person and enjoy hanging out with friends, love food, cooking and fond of pubs/bars. I enjoy cooking and like to stay fit and workout regularly. Like to spend time chilling out watching movies/netflix when free. I would be up for a good laugh and time with my housemates but I respect personal space and privacy too. I like my place to be clean and organised at an appropriate level. A Non smoker. I would prefer staying with working professionals. I'm a sociable guy and would be very keen to move in with housemates I can be friends with (essential). A dog in the house will be a bonus. I would love to hear from you if you feel I will be a good fit.
Dear, I am Carla Ansa from Barcelona. I am 30 years old and I get the W&H visa. I will arrive on March 28th. In Barcelona, I work in film business, mostly working in tv commercial & photo shootings as production coordinator. I would like to find my place in film industry in Sidney. I am a super tidy person, very clean and open-minded. I enjoy reading, sports and meeting new people. I really enjoy a quiet conversation. My main concern is to find a job and work hard in my new adventure abroad, but also know about the country and its people. When my W&H finishes, I would like to travel around a few months, and then come back to Barcelona. My plan is being 1 year with the W&H VISA, and see what will come next. Kind regards,
I'm an Aussie-asian born and from Perth. Recently moved to Sydney and looking for long term stay with my bf, Andrew. Im a person with cultural upbringing meaning I'm all about being clean and fairly neat. I will make it easy and save you from reading a essay; I describe myself being creative & social as well as interest into yoga, fitness and outdoor activities. Andrew, bloke from Geelong, is a graphic designer. He's not a strong character so you will never get sick of him :). Think of him as a chilled aussie, barely complains and not fussy. We are looking for a private room in a shared house/flat with mates who enjoys casual drinks over dinner, sociable, clean and easy going. Staying 9 months plus further extension.
Hey there! I'm a 28 year old Network and Systems Engineer from California. I had the pleasure of doing some work projects in Australia in my past job and enjoyed it so much that I made a permanent move to Sydney! It's been almost three years now and I've grown to love all that Sydney (and the inner west) has to offer. I'm a social, friendly individual that loves to explore and meet new people. On weekends I'm out and about, likely scuba diving, bushwalking, motorbiking, live comedy, etc. If the weather's bad, I'll be working on some software projects, reading, brewing beer, or indulging in Netflix. Have I mentioned that I have access to ALL US streaming services? I'll hook it up :). I work in an office mostly from 8-5pm Monday to Friday, and am traveling for work occasionally. I keep it low key during the week and relax at home after hitting the gym. As far as goods that I can contribute to a home, I have a large fridge, washing machine, large dining table with 6 chairs, 55 inch 4K TV, TV unit, and a couple pots/pans/etc. These are in a storage unit so if we don't need them, I can keep them there. I'm past my partying days so I'm looking for a "home" like environment with my flatmate(s). Having friends over for dinner parties, and the occasional BBQ or event is more my style. I'm happy to socialise and have the occasional beer and/or dinner with the flatmate(s), but also respect everyone's right to unwind and have their privacy. I consider myself very clean and always pick up after myself in common areas as well as contribute to shared chores and responsibilities. It's easy when everyone communicates well and chips in for each other! Speaking of that, feel free to message me if you have any questions! Cheers.
I just moved to Sydney from Canada for a master's degree. Hoping to find a place as soon as possible. I'm available anytime to meet. I'm easygoing, sociable and respectful. Very clean and easy to get along with. Love dogs. Cheers!
I swear I'm a nice person and ill pull my weight. I am moving to Australia from Fiji to pursue my studies, I am half Australian and half Japanese, unfortunately cannot speak Japanese. I have blue hair but don't let it scare you off. Im not really a party animal but I do enjoy an occasional drink with friends. I would love to meet new people and make new friends but if you need space I will respect your wishes
We are young professional couple from the UK that have just finished 4 months of worldwide travel. Lizzie is arriving on a working holiday visa and will be looking for office based work in sales/recruitment and Dan is a NZ citizen who works in insurance. We are a socialable couple & very relaxed. We love cooking good food, travelling, seeing friends, and binge watching Netflix in our spare time. We are very clean and tidy & would be looking for flat mates who are also this way!
Hello there! My name's Steven, but you can call me Steve. I currently work a full-time office job at an appliance retailer, but I am a creative at heart. I love to watch and write about films, to the extent that I review every film I see, old or new. I am a storyteller and jester by nature, and would love to live in a house where the vibe is communal and friendly. I was a bit sceptical about joining a sharehouse with "randoms" after trawling through those Facebook groups where people write their listings with a disingenuous veneer of professionalism. You can attract sensible people to your vacancy without a throwaway line to emphasise, "This is not a party house." I'm not interested in the "cheeky wine" you all have when you're not working. Feeling like a wine is not a breach of propriety. In essence, I'd love to live in a relaxed household that is more than the sum of its bedrooms. I am clean, organised, and am a huge fan of Leaving Things How I Found Them. I'd prefer to live in a house with no more than two other people, but the right housemates could sway me to reconsider. Living in walking distance to a train station is also desired. Cue Steven Wright: "Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time." Other things I'm interested in include: - Seeing live music - Brunch outings - Rugby league and tennis. I'm indifferent to all other sports. - Reading - Going to art galleries/exhibitions Well, I hope I've endeared myself to at least one person here. Feel free to slap me over the head if I sound too picky. Apart from a one month stint of house-sitting in Petersham last year, I have always lived at home. I am a little bit nervous but mostly excited to throw myself into the vast unknown. :)
20 years old, working full time in sales with stable income. Looking to stay long term. Quite outgoing but I do enjoy quiet nights and Suits & Gossip Girl marathon. And I'm always looking to network with people! If I like you i'll cook for you 😛
I'm a film Coordinator moving out from Camden. I work in Chippendale. I have got my own bedroom furniture, I'm tidy, non-smoker. Love all sorts of music, I have a massive film collection and I enjoy a few drinks but I like to keep the party outside and chill in the evenings.
My partner and I were interested in renting in Sydney for three months. I'm a product manager at an Australian software company, and my partner will be working on personal business before he starts his masters in a few months. We are both clean and prefer exploring the outdoors over partying. We love travelling, watching movies, and playing boardgames too! Please feel free to reach out. We look forward to hearing from you. Cheers, Jo
Professional, non smoking, female looking for a unfurnished room asap:) Hey there, I'm Kay:) 31 year old looking for somewhere to move asap. I am a full time Social Worker with a NFP company I've been with for 7 years. I am generally out of the house a couple of nights a week at my boyfriend's place. I don't smoke, love cats and dogs (but don't own any), am easy going, clean and have my own bedroom furniture. I have a car too. I enjoy going to markets and chilling on weekends:) I go to the occasional F45 during the week and enjoy a vino or two:) happy to fit in with most share houses as I've mostly been sharing since uni:) If you think I might fit the bill, drop me a line:) Cheers, Kay
My partner Andrew and I have just moved to Sydney. He is Australian and I'm on a working holiday visa from Canada. We are both friendly and outgoing. We are tidy but laid back. We are exited to explore the city and it's beaches! I am working in administration for a construction company in Rosebery and Andrew is a chef. We are looking forward to sharing a flat with fun and outgoing people, who like to have a good time on the weekend, but who are more quiet during the week. We are thinking about spending the winter at Thredbo, so for now, we are only looking for a room up until June, or anything shorter.
I am a mid twenties professional who has just moved from Adelaide to Sydney for work. A friend of mine from Sydney is also moving here shortly for work! So we are keeping our eyes open for somewhere with 2 bedrooms available. My friend Camille and I are both clean and friendly, non-smokers, looking for a sharehouse within about 30ish minutes of the city. I enjoy movies, theatre and board games and am looking forward to exploring the city. I have my own bedroom furniture and a car but street parking is fine. Camille won't have furniture but can get her own if she needs to. Looking to find something pretty soon for the long term because nobody likes moving!
Hey there! I'm a sociable Australian looking for a place inner west/east, as I'm starting work at a professional services firm mid Jan. A bit more about myself: I'm clean, tidy and reliable guy. I'm also a non-smoker. I am avid film and series fan, not scared of a Netflix sesh! I also enjoy cooking, so let's enjoy a few meals together! I enjoy the outdoors and if not, I'll be relaxing at the beach on the weekend! Also, I'll be hanging out with mates in my home town of Wollongong. I'm new to Sydney, so I'm not just looking for a room but a cosy home to make new friends! Happy New Year!
Hi I am Frida. I will arrive Sydney in April and want to stay for 2-4 months. I am 26 years young and search a break of my daily life. My plan is to find a job in sydney and have a good time. But, I think it is everybody's dream. :-) It would be great to have my own room or max. with one flatmate. It would be perfect to could stay by a local or only english speaker person. I save money, so it is no problem to pay the firsts rent without a job. So, I hope I could find something here for me :-) Cheers and all the best, Frida.
I am a researcher/epidemiologist who was raised and has got bachelor education in Beijing, China then spent the past 10 years studying and working in Sweden. Have various interests, e.g. swimming, running, hiking, lots of sports, photography, etc. Love good food, especially seafood and vegetarian food. I like to follow some simple and easy recipes at home, rarely make red meat dishes at home though. As a working professional, I usually start my day around 7am and finish around 11.30pm, enjoy afterwork, having dinner with friends, watching movie/documentary/tv, going to the gym/swimming pool, or joining some evening courses during weekdays' evenings. I am a clean, tidy and quiet lady and have good references from previous flatmates. Have lived in student corridor, in shared apartment, and lately got my own apartment in Stockholm. I think I have got some experience living in an international environment, sharing cleaning errands and bills, as well as having friends staying over. I like to have big and small plans for life and the future. My current plan is to do a two-year postdoctoral training in Sydney (at Woolcock Institute of Medical Research in Glebe), then to go back to Stockholm. I would be much appreciated if I can get to know some friends and get to know the city! Many thanks.
Dear Friend, I am looking for an accommodation stating from March 1st for a month. I am a jovial person who takes life positively. I can describe myself as a cleanliness freak. I am well organised and likes to plan and do things. I like people who discuss things very openly and frankly because I am like that.
We are a fun friendly easy going couple who have just relocated to the city from Hamilton Island QLD. We like to socialise but also respect privacy and are not looking to move into a party house. We are both clean and polite housemates looking for some accomodation to get us started in our new adventure in Sydney. Both non smokers & enjoy living in a clean tidy household.
My name is Jack I am 24, I finished uni at the end of last year and I work full-time at a law firm in Pyrmont. Originally from rural Queensland, I lived at Macquarie Uni for the duration of my degree and I'm now looking to move closer to the city but also to a suburb with a nice social scene. I’m pretty chilled out at home and enjoy a chat and a drink at night (and sometimes more on the weekend). Cleanliness is kinda important for me – after living at uni for so long I am longing for a tidy place and casual, fun housemates. My interests include reading, movies/TV, astronomy, critical thinking and debate, drawing, writing, law, current affairs and many others that I rarely have time to get to.
I grew up in Ukraine but have since lived in 5 different countries, having moved to Sydney in June 2015. I have spent most of my adult life in the US earning my undergraduate and masters degrees, and getting some work experience under my belt. Between work and training, I'm not home too often. I work in CBD in finance and train quite a lot between CrossFit and long distance running. I grew up playing tennis professionally so athletics is a way of life for me. I don't party much, usually only when I travel, don't drink or smoke either.
Hi, My name is Nadia and I am an easy going Polish girl in her 20's who is looking for a friendly house to move in. I will be studding fine arts full-time and working part-time. I have been living in shared accommodation for the past years. I get along very well with all kinds of people, and I am always respecting house rules. I am also a huge movie buff, who enjoys good live music in my free time. I am able to move in from the 8th of February. Looking forward to hearing from you, Nadia
I'm a 31 year old guy originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland. I've lived in Sydney for just over 3 years and work full time in finance at Circular Quay, working usual office hours. I'm easy going and friendly.. During the week I like to hit the gym after work or chill out, enjoying cooking with a bottle of red or catching a movie. I enjoy a few beers at the weekend, going to the beach in summer or hiking/cycling in winter.
Hello! :) I'm Joey from Singapore, and I'm looking for a home away from home. I'm a Comms grad living in Melbourne. Moving for Business postgrad @ USyd in March. Looking for preferably a private room, best if it's somewhere within walking distance from Hyde Park & Town Hall station. I'm good with places near train and bus stations in the Sydney city area as well. Length of stay and move in date negotiable. I'm friendly, clean, respectful and open to pets! Have lived with several flatmates before and never had problems. I'm interested in other cultures since I'm from a multi-racial country, hence I welcome living with people of diverse nationalities! Not really the party type, but I do enjoy a drink or two. Am doing my best to live a healthier lifestyle (eating clean, going to the gym, etc.) I also love going on adventures, taking pictures and doing voluntary work. My finances are assisted, thus I certainly will pay the rent on time. If you think I could be a good fit and would like to connect to know me better, do drop me a message. Cheers! :)
