I will start my PhD in Space Engineering at UNSW Canberra from the 18th of February 2019. I consider myself a clean person and focus on my studies. Looking for student accommodation (either shared flat room or studio) at around A$220 per week. I might need to spend hours doing research there so quietness and tidiness are important. I have lived in a shared flat for 4 years. Personal email: email@example.com
Hi! My name is Nat, I am 22, and currently live in Melbourne. I am moving to Canberra late Jan, for a full time grad position starting in Feb. I am happy to start paying rent soon for the right place. I enjoy cooking, Netflix, going for walks and checking out cafes and markets. I like having down time and respect privacy, but I would also enjoy having a drink and a chat. Ideally I am looking for a share house with a private bathroom, and a parking space, but I am flexible! I will be coming up to Canberra on December 18th and 19th, and would love to check out your place and say hi, and see if we are a good fit. Cheers!
I'm a quiet country fella, from northern NSW. I'll be working compressed hours and getting back to the farm as much as possible. I'm a pretty relaxed sort of person - I don't mind a chat and I'm equally happy to respect privacy and personal space. I've gotta say I'm a pretty average cook but a healthy eater. For those weekends I'll be in Canberra, I'm looking forward to enjoying the green space and catching up with friends. But I also don't mind binge-watching trashy TV:)
Hello I'm Jem! I'm 23 currently trying to make a move away from my hometown and begin a body piercing career. I'm quiet, honest, easy to talk to and very respectful. I also absolutely love meeting new people! I have full time work where I am now and have located many suitable jobs in the Canberra area! I know how to take care of myself and how to take care of a home, I have lived by myself for a year and out of home since I was 17, I am very clean and tidy and always willing to chip in with anything that needs to be done. I enjoy creative things, I love gardening reading writing and drawing but also love to binge watch stan and Netflix or weird documentaries with a cheeky glass of wine. I like cooking I don't know if I would call myself a good cook but I do make a killer potato bake I promise you that! I have a friendly calm 6 y.o cat who does his own thing, has never attacked scratched or bitten anyone ever, however he does not get along with other animals. I will very rarely have a cigarette maybe once a week but never in my life have i smoked inside a house and I never will, I'm on my way to completely stopping. I don't party I just want a nice place to call my own so i can work hard. I have all my own furniture and appliances so unfurnished is fine or I'm happy to bring along anything that might be needed.
Hi My name is Michael, I'm 19 and am moving up to Canberra from Melbourne in mid February 2019. I will be working full time at PWC and studying part time at ANU. I love soccer and cricket and I'm clean, friendly and respectful. I'm looking for a place that is reasonably close to both ANU and PWC.
I love to keep fit and eat healthy, I am a very clean person and like to maintain a clean home, I have a one year old daughter that I have week on week off custody of. If you would like to know anything else just give me a message. Also i am looking for something with two bedrooms.
I am a recent university graduate who will be moving to Canberra to begin a career with the APS in early Feb 2019. I'm currently living in Melbourne and have just begun a search for accommodation. I would definitely prefer to share a place, since I have no existing network in Canberra. Aside from work, I am quite keen to explore the ACT's parks and hiking opportunities, and am a keen cyclist. I am pretty relaxed at home and am always up for a chat in the evenings. It would be nice to share cooking as well, since I love cooking for people and am always willing to try new food myself.
Hey I’m Bek and I’m looking for a sweet sweet room preferably in North Canberra or belconnen. I am just starting my 3rd year at ANU studying Arts/Science and majoring in Archaeology 💀, Biological Anthropology 🐒 and Japanese language )^o^( . I also work part time at a cellar door/bistro just out of Canberra. I enjoy drinking copious amounts of green tea and buying too many plants🌱. I am an upstanding clean citizen of life, and also considerate of other people. I’m looking for a room $180 per week or less that is not located Southside Cheerio 🏋️♀️
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane for a graduate job. Looking for a place to live near Forrest. I like my alone time, but I also like to get out and explore on the weekends. Would prefer to live with someone who is not going to host wild parties every weekend :)
Hi, I'm 28, I work as a nanny and also at a cellar door doing wine tastings for a lovely winery in Murrumbateman. I'm from Tamworth and I've been in Canberra since April this year, and lived in lots of places in between. I'm looking for a place to call home, but also happy with short term lets. If you want to know more about me, feel free to ask.
Hi there! My name is Callum and I just graduated from my Honours in Philosophy at UC. I currently work at a bakery/cafe near the Airport and am hoping to move to central Canberra to be closer to my work and also ANU for post-graduate study (Currently a 30 minute drive). I absolutely love cooking: i will likely force poached eggs, avocado on toast and an array of experiments down my potential housemates throats. I love a good glass of red wine (or shot of vodka/gin + tonic). I read and write a lot, love nature, Netflix, hiking, travelling and generally have little obsessions that crop up (Recently it was homemade Pizza bases + freshly baked bread). I am very easy-going, relaxed, communicative (like i talk through most issues i have with people, often to a fault because i absolutely cannot stand resentment), clean, caring and helpful person.
Hey there, I am a 23 year old from Brisbane who is moving to Canberra in January to start a graduate Job. I like to think that I'm an easy-going guy - I love a chat, but I can also give you plenty of space if that's what you're after. I am tidy, respectful, and most importantly, I am punctual with my rent payments. I am pretty flexible on the rent period and the move date - so long as it's around mid-early January.
Hi, I’m looking for long term accommodation in Canberra as I’m moving from Adelaide for a job. I’m clean and responsible and a whiz in the kitchen (future flatmates may be used as cookie taste testers). I enjoy both a shared meal/chat and alone time. I’m a lover of Netflix, books, and casual games. Pet friendly but currently pet free (if you have a dog it can expect many belly rubs). I’m looking to move late January 2019 but I’ll be in canberra January 10-15 and I’m keen to set up inspections/meets for then. Also happy to sign a contract that weekend if the rooms/people are right.

I'm moving from Melbourne in early February to start a full-time job in the public service and currently looking for a room in a share house. I am very easy going, tidy and sociable. I love to hang out and have dinner with housemates, but am also happy to do my own thing and very respectful of others' space. I am only moving up with bedroom furniture so wouldn't crowd a share house with lots of things, but equally I am happy to purchase communal furniture/appliances if needed! I enjoy cooking, reading, going out for coffee or meals with friends, being outdoors and exploring new places.
Hey! My boyfriend and I are moving down to Canberra in January for work and are looking for a great share house to join. We are pretty laid back people and enjoy being social, but also appreciate that often your home is a place to get away to.
Hi, I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne for a full-time job in Kingston. I'm looking for some friendly housemates who are social and up for a chat but also do their own thing :) I'm always down for house hangouts and outings if people are keen and free. A bit about me: I have past experience living in share-houses and have found some great housemates and friends through them. I keep common areas clean, though my bedroom tends to go through cycles :p. I enjoy the outdoors, hiking and checking out new places. I also love bike riding whenever I can, and although I've briefly dabbled in mountain biking, I'm keen to get more actively involved in it once I move to Canberra. I also really enjoy cooking in my free time, and teaching myself new dishes from different cuisines. I'm happy to chat over phone or video call I know that can be a better way to good way to get to know a bit more about each other. If you want a reference from my past or current housemates, I'm happy to provide you with a few people to chat to. My move-in dates are flexible as I'm keen to find a great house and housemates, rather than just any place to live. I'm currently looking for long-term accommodation and if you want a bit more info. about me or think I'd be a good fit for your house, I look forward to hearing from you :)
