I am currently working full time as well as studying part time. I am pretty easy going, not that into partying but I do like hanging out and having a social drink. I'm into sports, movies, video games, music, cars and motorbikes. Not keen on a massive share house, 3-4 people is my maximum. For all other matters I am fairly flexible and happy to put in my fair share of work. Would prefer someone around my age (18-25). Gender, sexual orientation etc not an issue.
Hey there, I'm doing a degree in Dance and want to live somewhere along the 75 tram line so I can get to uni (Deakin). I'm a great house mate, don't leave cups under the couch or stand in the shower for half an hour. I am happy to make you a cup of tea but don't expect to be sharing food all the time. I'm from NSW, like to check out the op shops for a bargain and have pot plants around the house.
I am a French student and I am going to do an internship in a consultancy agency in Camberwell. I will work Monday to Friday. I am looking for clean and neat flatmates but I am also looking for fun flatmates to have a chat and go out on weekends.
We are a couple from Brazil going to Melbourne to study English. I (Rafael) am a Naval Architect and my wife (Thaís) is a primary school teacher. We both practice kung fu and love many other sports. We also are dance teachers of brazilian dances (samba de gafieira and forró). We enjoy reading and watching movies and series.
*Looking for FEMALES only 🙋🏼 Hey I'm Olivia, A 22 year old female who moved to Melbourne about 4 years ago to pursue football (soccer). I consider myself an approachable and friendly pseron with a strong sport/fitness background. So I would love a housemate or two that shares that passion as well. If not, that's totally fine as I am quite the girl outside of soccer, as I work in retail when I'm not studying my butt off. When I'm not studying or at the gym/soccer I pretty much doing nothing other than have a wine at home, attempt to cook or watch Netflix. So I really am after a partner in crime to explore Melbourne with on their days off. House wise obviously I'm more than happy to put in with chores etc. But I'm after a place that's sociable together and not someone who is going to blow my ears out with music and parties every weekend. HAHA 😂 I also better throw in here that I do have a cat! She has lived indoors her entire life and actually has a letter of recommendation from a past landlord, so she won't be an issue securing a place. Enough rambling, just ask if you would like to know more! 😊
I'm a software engineer, working full time. Music is my main hobby and I spend a lot of time playing guitar and going to gigs. I also like to read, play video games, watch tv and movies, and going hiking and camping, which I do a few times a year.

I come from a small town, 4 hours north of Melbourne. I am from a large family, so I get along with people really well. I am great to live with because I have shared a room all my life with two other people, so I am very used to sharing my space. I have been taught how to cook since a young age, so I mostly know what I am doing in the kitchen. I am also an outgoing and bubbly person.
Hi There ! I am an IT professional from India, looking to have shared accommodation for 3-4 week in Melbourne, VIC. I like Peace, Cleanliness, Nature and always ready for sports/game for adrenaline and team up !
Hi guys! We are a couple making our way back to Melbourne after over a year living overseas! Lara is a Brazilian about to undertake a Masters degree at Deakin University while working part-time, and Kyle is an American who is going to work full-time. We are very excited to come back to Australia after so long, and we are now looking for our future home :) We are a pretty chilled couple who love the outdoors and being active. Climbing, camping, slacklining, cooking healthy foods and having beer with friends are among our favorite activities, although watching Netflix movies is very much of a thing for us too. We are not party animals, we prefer to have a clean and organized environment in our house and a good vibe between the flatmates. We never fight or are excessively romantic in front of others, so nobody will have to worry about that either ^^. It would be nice to share the house with like-minded people around our age, but the most important thing for us is that everybody gets along well. We are LGBT friendly and love pets, kids would also not be a problem, but we are looking for a house where people don't smoke cigarettes inside. We'll be arriving in Melbourne by mid-February, but we'd like to arrange a house before that. Please contact us if you think we'd get along ;) Cheers
So I'm a 25 year old girl working full time in hospitality and I teach yoga sometimes. I would love a place with a backyard to get some sunshine when possible. Big dog fan and I enjoy good food and a beer with friends. For a girl, I'm not very high maintenance.
im looking for a work atm but i can pay rent bills on time and always have a good record :) looking for a place that is close to restaurants gym supermarket and public transport. would be nice if housemates are easy going and drama free
We are a relaxed and fun couple who love to travel, go out with friends, be creative, get active and always try new things! We have been living in our own property for the last 18 months and are in the process of renovating it before looking to rent it out. We are wanting to save a little more so would like to team up with another couple or person to rent with! Looking for a share home which is relaxed, homely and not a party house..although a few wines never hurt nobody!
Hi there! We are a couple from London who are relatively new to the Melbourne area. We've been travelling around Asia since September but having just found full time jobs in Melbourne we plan to stay in this amazing city for at least 6 months! We are easy-going and tidy people who like to socialise but also have our own space from time to time. Looking for like minded housemates who we could hopefully share a bottle of wine with every so often! Feel free to drop us a message if you think you have something that might be suitable! :)
Hi my name is Brad. I am 24 yo studying Psychology at Deakin and working part time at Bonds. I am in to music, footy, soccer and I'll be looking to learn a 2nd language. I'm from Canberra but moved to Melbourne 3 years ago and love it here. I still have lots to check out yet. When I'm at home I like to relax but I'm more than up for a chat or a laugh as well. I like to go out but I'm more than comfortable chilling at home watching movies as well. And I certainly understand the importance of keeping the house tidy. Thanks for reading :)
Im a 17 year old female (18 early april) going into year 12, looking for an environment to complete my studies in. Im considerate of others around me while being flexible, tidy, respectful and thoughtful. I'm a team player and am very easy to negotiate and reason with. I'm looking to leap into my final year with a positive attitude and the right surroundings that can further that positivity.
I've recently moved from Byron Bay to study and find part-time work. I'm social, responsible and clean! I enjoy spending time outdoors when I can and making new friends. Overall I'm easygoing and always up for a drink/chat while also respecting the privacy of others.
Hi! I'm Mitch. I'm looking for a relatively longer arrangement. 6-12 months or longer. I'm single, non smoker, and have no pets. I work 9-5 for a small private health insurance company. My interests outside of work include seeing live music, enjoying a beverage or two with friends and family, taking iPhone photos of other people's doggos, scrolling through the movies and tv shows on Netflix and not watching a thing, and buying pot plants. I spend a fair few weekends hanging out with my family in country Vic too. I keep my living spaces clean and tidy. I'm chill with cooking my own food or sharing meals with people. I do sometimes go for the convenience of eating out or getting lite and easy delivered weekly. I'm really sociable but also like my own space. I'm all about home being free of confrontation and stress. That's what work is for! I've lived in a really big apartment for 5 years, so I'd like to live in a similar place. Somewhere new/renovated and clean with lots of light and lots of space. Looking for 2 or 3 bedroom apartments/houses/townhouses. I don't have a preference as to living with males or females. I'm also open to getting together a group of 3 or so, and looking at some apartments/houses/townhouses. Send me a message if you're interested! Cheers, Mitch :)
My partner and I are both building a house together at the moment and it won't be built till May/June. We're both currently working full time in the eastern suburbs and have been commuting back to fourth to Geelong. We are low maintanance, clean and friendly people. We would only be at the house with you on Monday-Thursday and then spend the weekends in Geelong living there.
Looking to move out with my partner of 5 years. He has a perfect rental history. Love the Hawthorn area. Both like to socialise and keep busy. Both working full time in our chosen careers. We have an extremely friendly beagle (don't worry he doesn't bark).
Hey guys, My name is Daniel, 24, and I am studying Information Systems at Hamburg University in Germany. From 26th February I will study at Swinburne University for a semester. Therefore I am looking for a furnished (bed, desk, wardrobe), clean and affordable room in Hawthorn and the surrounding area (max. 15 km distance or 30 minutes by public transport). The rent should be around 200 A$ per week including bills (water, gas, electricity, internet). However, if the room provides some special amenities and rent is slightly above my limit I am interested as well. People consider me as an open-minded, reliable and humorous person. :-) While I enjoy socializing, meeting new people and having great conversations about diverse topics on the one hand. I am also able to spend time on my own and respect other's privacy on the other hand. Additionally, I am a tidy and clean person, but not a neat freak. I do NOT smoke and strongly prefer parties OUT of home (clubs, discos). If you think I might be the right person for your house- or flatshare please contact me. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks in advance and see you in a couple of weeks, Daniel
Students looking for accommodation closet to uni. Both love travelling, sport and brunches. Looking to move into a house with other student's who are also studying
Hi all, I'm Lucas! Currently moving from Tasmania to Melbourne to study, I'm outgoing, friendly, and bubbly. Definitely the common extrovert. I'm looking for a group of people to start or join a sharehouse with. A lot of my time will be spent studying or siteseeing as I won't be around much, however definitely enjoy socialising etc.
I am a 20 year old female international student from England coming to study at Swinburne university next month. I believe im someone fun to live with and can get along with anyone! I'm clean, tidy, respectful and know how to cook and look after myself!
Hey I'm Peter, I'm 32 years old and work full time as a Building Surveyor based in Melbourne CBD. I'm looking for a house/room (6-12 months +). I moved down from Brisbane about 2 years ago and have spent those couple of years settling in. Now that I have a bit better idea of the lay of the land I'm looking to move a bit closer to the city to have more time to enjoy life rather than commuting to and from work. During the week I'm usually pretty busy at work, and depending on the time of year have been known to work quite late - a habit I'm gradually learning to change. After a bit of a hiatus in my spare time I'm getting back into the gym and enjoying it more and more each session. Apart from the gym I also like going bush walking when I can or hitting the beach, but also enjoy a good chill watching a movie or having a beverage (coffee/brewski) and watching the world go by. Like most guys I enjoy watching my sport - AFL, cricket, NRL (being originally from QLD), any sport really - but also love going playing a bit of tennis or golf, or even trying something new. I've lived in share houses a couple times before while in QLD, and while like most people I enjoy a bit of quiet time when at home to recuperate, I also love a friendly chat and catch up over dinner and whatnot. I'm pretty relaxed and more than happy to hang out and chat or give you your privacy when you need it too. Due to my nature being a consultant I pride myself on creating positive relationships and am always up for a laugh, however I will always respect personal space and privacy. I'm clean, reliable and will do my part to keep the house tidy! I also have a car, so a car space would be ideal. Looking forward to hearing from you!! Peter
Looking to move the beginning of February 2017. Would like to move into a private room in an existing share house. I'm easy-going and happy to share some dinner, nice cheese and wine; as well as lazy Netflix nights. Interested in meeting some new people and love going out for dinners; but also love my own space and privacy, and will respect yours too. Currently studying sociology at Swinburne & working part-time
I am clean, tidy and always organized, independent, able to cook and easy to live with. Currently studying in Swinburne University Sarawak Campus in Malaysia, I am going for an exchange semester this February 2017 to the Hawthorn Campus. I like listening to music and going for outdoor activities and explore new things and discover new adventures for fun. I am easily approachable and can be friendly to talk to so I can be the most suitable roommate you can find :)
Hi all! My brother and I are looking to move into a bright, spacious residence by the end of January (we are both currently overseas on holiday). My little brother is starting at RMIT whereas I have been studying economics at Deakin (burwood) since 2014. We are looking for accommodation in the following suburbs close to RMIT, from Richmond, Hawthorn, Hawthorn East to Glen Iris/Camberwell. As I drive, I would prefer a residence closer to the city so it'll be convenient for him. We are both very respectful, clean and pretty chilled. Senal, my brother, is new to Melbourne, is a great rugby fanatic, friendly and super chilled. I tutor and work at a restaurant, love brunch, the occasional glass of wine (who's counting!) and food with great flavour. I enjoy cooking when I am not knee deep in assignments, have hearty conversations and work on my start up at other times. We are looking to pay up to $300-350 per week as well. We are both rather careful with our expenses and are mindful so we are looking for a like-minded friendly female (student) as well. Let me know if you're keen to get to know each other better and clarify further details! :) Cheers, Kisalka
Hey! My name is Stacey and I will be relocating to Melbourne from Perth in mid-late January. I’m after a private room and preferably living with females in their mid 20s or late 20s. Ideally I’m interested in teaming up for a 2x1 or 2x2 apartment, but if you’re already living in one and have an available room then I’m very interested! I have a car and will require a car space. I also won’t have any furniture as yet, so bonus if you have furniture! If not, I will be happy to buy some pieces to help out. I’m into traveling, shopping, makeup and beauty products. I don’t know too many people in Melbourne as yet, so would like a housemate that wouldn’t mind a weekly brunch/dinner, but I also value privacy and do like to do my own thing. I’m pretty quiet during the week and will mainly come home from work, relax and attempt to cook. I’m not someone that has house parties or is into a messy house so I would like to live with someone similar. If you have a place with a spare room, or are interested in teaming up with me and think we may be get along then please send me a message!
Paul's a Filipino-grown Melbourne Citizen who's been designing for as long as he can remember. That is his main passion. Paul is pretty social, tidy and easy going and looking for people of similar traits. Paul likes to talk in third person.
I'm 22, from Melbourne. Commercial Pilot, though currently undergoing further studies. I'm easy going and respect the space I live in. I love to maintain a clean environment and workspace. I've lived out of home for 3 years and familiar with sharehouses. I love cooking various foods, travelling, playing and listening to music, animals (I have a Labrador, who won't be with me), catching up with mates and anything Aviation or Automotive related! I would rather a room that is furnished or semi-furnished, though it wouldn't be a major issue if it isn't. I also own a car which will require parking of some sort. -Looking for either short term or long term- Feel free to message me if you have a listing that would be suitable!
Completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences last year and have taken this year off to work and spend some back home in Darwin. Will be returning in early 2017 to begin a Masters of Teaching (Secondary). I love being outside soaking up the sunshine (and will always want to make the most of sunny winter days). I like a glass of wine or two and am always up for a coffee. I spend far too much dreaming about my next holiday and am always looking for the next destination. I am very clean and hate dirty kitchens!
Hi my name is Lauren and have just finished my degree as a nutritionist. I work full time as a nanny at the moment but am looking for other work as well. I am also still at uni as i am currently in the middle of a publication. I am originally from a country town and have moved down to Melbourne to study. This means i love the outdoors and love to keep busy. Im a pretty relaxed person and always down for a laugh. Health and fitness are my priorities but I also love to go out on occasions for a wine and great food. I am a very clean person (most people say that i have OCD) and I love to cook! My rent and bills are always paid on time and would love some housemates that wouldn't mind a sit down meal together or a netflix binge.
I have lived in share houses for many years and wouldn't have it any other way - I love community, and the people I've lived with tend to become great friends. Traits I value in myself and others include being considerate, open and kind communication, and taking care of all the usual sharehouse duties with grace! A bit about me - I'm 33 with a few creative bones in my body (background in theatre and visual art), and a passion for complimentary health (Naturopathy graduate, working as a Kinesiologist one day per week), and avid nature lover/camper/hiker, and also work the 9-5 x four days per week in local government. I'm rather busy and tend to fill my days and evenings, but I see building a strong relationship with my housemates as a high priority and love the periodic 'family dinner', and of course regular spontaneous cups of tea/vino and chats. Rachel :)
I am an exchange student from England who is coming over to Australia to study for a trimester at Swinburne University. I am an easy going guy, I love sports, going to the gym, having a drink, 420 an all that, and I am looking for similar people to me to share a house with.
I'm from Melbourne but have been living and travelling overseas for most of the last few years...I returned early in 2016 to undertake post grad studies and am currently halfway through a Master of Environment at the University of Melbourne. I also work part time as a cook :-) I love discovering new music and listen to all sorts of genres - pop, rock, classical and just about everything in between. I also really enjoy reading, hanging out with friends and musing on life, the universe and everything. I am a total nerd for all things to do with science, history and politics. I love baking yummy treats but I don't like having to eat them all by myself ;-) I'm a student which means that during semester I'm often locked away in my room studying but I also really enjoy living in a relaxed environment with people who I can share the odd wine and plenty of laughs with. I want to find a place which I can call home!
I'm 24 years old and from china, now I'm studying at Swinburne university. I'm easygoing, tidy and friendly, non-smoker and quiet. I'm looking for a house which is not so far from Swinburne or close to train station will be ok.
Working partime recently graduated

Hi there, I'm Amy, a 26-year-old high school teacher from Queensland. I'm fairly active and play various sports, dance ballet, run and enjoy a good kickboxing session. I also really love the arts, so I'm constantly on the lookout for new exhibitions/shows to see. I love to cook and make a mean chocolate souffle. I am very clean and would prefer to live with someone at least a little similar. I have shared before with no issues and am very reliable (references available if you would like them). I am mostly chilled out during the week, however I would like to live in a home where I am able to bring a friend or two to on the weekend for a quiet drink or dinner. I also value open communication and am very respectful of others' and their space. I don't own any pets but will love yours as my own. I'm also ideally looking for somewhere with my own bathroom. If you think I would fit in nicely in your home please get in touch! :)
Hey everyone, I'm a Canadian Exchange student from Montreal who's coming to Melbourne to have a good time! I'm always down for advantures and will be willing to travel around during the semester. I'm looking to share a home with other lively and vibrant young people that will be willing to go for drinks on week-ends or do activities. That being said, I'm also serious when it comes to school and other type of responsabilities (ei. I pay the bills and time and I always clean after myself). About me: I speak both English and French, I love travelling, big time Foodie, love cheap wine, and love cute puppies.
I am a guy in my 50's looking to share with people of similar age. I have a active social life and belong to a social group and tend to go out about 3 times a week. Not a big TV watcher but love the footy and cricket though and the odd occasional shows. Love the outdoors and BBQ's whenever I can. I am easy going and friendly with just about anyone I meet. I have a great sense of humour and joke around and don't take life too seriously. I am not the greatest cook around but manage a half decent meal. I work in sales for a wholesale supplier oin the cleaning industry.

Originally form Perth, my lease finishes at the end of January and am hoping to move in with someone relaxed who is respectful of space and privacy. Love to have a good ol' chat! But also love to have my alone time. Being new to Melbourne I would like to have someone who is friendly, approachable however I totally understand if you are strictly looking for a housemate rather than a friend! Ideally would love my own bathroom... but it isn't a deal breaker!

Hey guys! Im a kiwi, 26, been in Melb for a year and working full-time as a Regional Manager generally Monday-Friday. Looking for a nice modern apartment/house with others, similar age range, 1-3 others and preferably long term. Will need to have easy parking as I have a work car. I'm clean and considerate round the house, keep pretty chilled during the week - work, exercise etc and enjoy a couple quiet wines. On weekends always keen to get out and do something, love heading out for brunch or dinner/drinks. Want to get out, meet new people and explore Melb some more! Thanks, Kels =)
Hi there! I am Teal. 23 - Professional working in the city full time between 8:30 - 5:00 Monday through Friday. My lease is about to end in Mid January, so I am looking for a new place to move to ASAP! Preferably somewhere close to transport. Would be happier to team up with someone to find a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment in the suburbs listed. I am super sociable, but also enjoy my own quiet from time to time. Looking to live with like minded people :)
Recently started working in Surrey Hills and looking for another to teamup and find a house in the area to share with me and my very friendly dog. I'm pretty easy going, enjoy heading down the beach on the weekends, eating out, going to the gym, swimming, hiking, camping an catching up with friends.
Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm a recent graduate about to start my new fulltime job in HR at the end of January. I'm looking to live somewhere close to the city for an easy commute to work. I'm an outgoing person who loves a laugh and some quality chats. I would ideally like to live in a social household that are down for watching terrible TV shows and sharing a meal/having a drink together. My inner introvert does cause me to need a bit of chill time to myself though! Overall I'm a pretty easy going and friendly. I'd prefer to live in a mixed-gender household and do have a pet cockatiel who I would love to bring with me (if at all possible). So feel free to contact me if you think I sound like a somewhat decent potential housemate!
Ethan and Kalen here. We're brothers looking to share accommodations while we complete our third year at RMIT. We're both laid back and friendly, and recognize the value in cleanliness and hard work. Between us we cover a wide range of hobbies, from writing to gaming to programming to music, etc. We have no pets, but have no objections to flatmates that do.
I'm Gee, 25 years old and moving out of home for full-time work as a lawyer in Abbotsford so a place Inner East would be a godsend. Lived in NYC for a couple of months last year so have a bit of share house experience. I'm not looking for a party house and prefer a quiet and pleasant home to come back to after work, and somewhere close to great brunch spots for the weekend! I'm clean, chill and definitely love wine & chats although I understand boundaries. I have a partner so ideally I'd like a place where my housemate/s don't mind if he comes around. He has his own place though, so at the most it would be once a week. We're respectful, and so far have had no issues with his housemates, so hopefully this isn't a deal breaker! My other requirement is a place with off street parking or a parking permit. If you like the sound of this, send me a message and we can get talking :)
