I'm from Malaysia, but I've lived abroad for the past 14 years. I enjoy song-writing and getting artsy for creative past-times, and sports (particularly football/soccer and regular morning walks) for staying active. Although I'm quite introverted, I like to mingle with people of different backgrounds and lifestyles as I attended international schools in the last 12 years. I like to keep my workspace organised, and can cook and clean after myself. I have strong work ethics. I'm a Muslim, so I don't drink alcohol or eat pork.
I am friendly considerate and flexible. I work full time in IT industry, I like to spend my weekends outdoors and catching up with friends. Not a party animal, like to spend some relaxing time at home. Respectful of others privacy and expect the same. Looking for an apartment to share with another female flatmate, Would prefer to be close to the train station and room with own bathroom. Would like to move anytime between 22nd December 2018 and 15th January 2019
An easy going student starting a degree at Le Cordon bleu in January is looking for a room close to school for rent. I can confidently say I will be quiet like I’m not there as my hobbies that I spend the most time on are watching & reading stuff in my bed if I’m not out doing things.
EDIT: looking for female(s) for teamup only! I have been renting a townhouse by myself for about a year now and my lease is about to end. As much as I have loved living by myself, I would love to find a compatable roommate to start the next chapter of my life! I'm a full-time psychology/law student at MQU (with one more semester left) and I work part-time in Epping. So I would ideally love to stay within the area. I love playing piano, listening to music, painting, nature, cooking (vegan food), and I am very much free-spirited. Hoping to find a like-minded person (or people) to start a new house with! I already have all the furniture and appliances needed, but happy to sell or re-home to suit the new situation! I also have a beautiful black rescue cat named Jasper who acts like a dog (everyone loves him and he loves everyone) If this sounds at all like you, please send me a message and we can meet over coffee or something to discuss!
** not looking anymore sorry Looking to move in anytime after December 27, though open to moving earlier if we found the right place. Just need to find somewhere before uni starts again for 2019 I’d like an ensuite, though slighlty flexible if there's an awesome place with no ensuite room. Would prefer to stay somewhere very close to uni or a quick bike ride away. BTW I went to boarding school and have lived in student share accommodation since, so I am very experienced in sharing living spaces. I’m a full time student at Macquarie Uni and work part-time in the city. I grew up on a farm in Nyngan if that is of any interest. I know the uni like the back of my hand. I’m very involved in the Macquarie uni community (am an exec on a society too). I was a member of the SRC, 2015-2017. I’m very social, and inclusive. I keep my mess to myself and like to keep common areas clean and always wash up after myself straight away. Would be cool to have house movie nights and study nights every now and then. I often just keep to myself but also love socialising. Would prefer somewhat social housemates but am also more than okay with someone that wants to keep to themselves more. And in saying that, as much as I love having friends over, I rarely do. I mostly just go to social events at uni, including debates and talks put on by various societies. I love the beach and swimming. I like to be active, love going for a run, love playing soccer and recently got back into netball. Although, it’s hard to be motivated to do all that as much as I should, so work out buddies welcome! 😜 I’ve got my eye on some great 2+ bedroom places near uni with nice entertaining areas, so please message me if you think we’re after similar things :)
I am an international student. I have a friendly and easygoing personality. As I am here for my postgraduate degree, I value a clean and quiet enviroment. I am here to experience the diversity in culture and I respect the differences in the cultures. I don't smoke. I respect other people's privacy and am willing to abide by the house rules set. I don't party.
I work full time Monday-Friday and Spend my afternoons at the gym so I’m not home much. Love having a drink or two, wether it be out at a nice bar or at home with a glass of wine, movies and snacks! Easy going and like to keep my home neat and tidy. Respectful flatmate who likes to live a proactive and healthy lifestyle!
I’m a full time international Masters student at Macquarie University and a photography and sales assistant at Sydney Aquarium. I enjoy traveling, cooking and acting a lot! I’m a happy person and have a loud laugh 🙊
I'm looking for a private bedroom to live in close to public transport. I'm always keen for a weekend adventure or a Netflix evening in. I work 3 days part time in the office and the rest of the week as a casual barista/bartender in the city. All around chill person! (also I'm a dessert nerd so get ready for surprise take-away desserts)
Hi , I am Varun; bunny, electrical engineer, guitarist, vocalist, fitness enthusiast, traveller; working in a corporation. I am cleanliness friendly and quite social.
I am currently doing PhD in Macquarie University on Environmental Sciences. Normally I spend my weekdays in labs and office, and prefer to catch up with friends in weekends. I would like to live in an organized, tidy and cozy place that makes me feel like at home.
Hey. I’m currently working full-time at a desk job (so I’m quite stable in that regard). I consider myself a tidy person, definitely clean up after myself. Apart from working, I usually go to the gym, have brunch and go to the beach, or zone out and listen to music. I’m a non-smoker (in case you’re wondering), prefer not to have a smoker as a flatmate either but I’m quite flexible. Also, in the case that there’s only 1 bathroom, it shouldn’t be a problem since it takes me only 20mins to get ready. Oh also, (to avoid wasting anyone’s time) I do prefer a clean/modern place at/near Macquarie Park or Sydney CBD. But yeah, that’s about it so far! Happy to meet new people, so hit me up!
Hello! :) I am Chanti, 24 y.o., from Germany and currently studying Psychology (M.Sc.) in Luxembourg. I would say I am a Europe lover 100%!! Probably after my first stay in Australia - I am going to do a research internship for 3 months - I will call myself an Australia lover as well. :P Looking forward to baking and philosohising with you. See you!
Incoming international student at Le Cordon Bleu. I'm a very respectful person and would be sensitive to my flatmates' feelings. I'm very neat and responsible (although my mom wouldn't agree.) Outgoing person minus the vices. I'm really outdoorsy and would probably be working out a sweat whenever I have free time. A good balance of physical, intellectual and spiritual.
Hi everyone, My name is Kevin, I am a student at Macquarie University while also working full time in Lane Cove. I am mostly interested in a team up and think it would be great if we could pick a place we mutually agree on while both agreeing on the rent and ensuring it is fair compared to what we're getting (eg. bigger room, slightly more rent). I enjoy watching Netflix, cooking, the casual drink, coffee, socialising and also keeping to myself. Ideally I'm looking for a roommate who is relaxed but also keeps the common areas tidy, someone that values communication within the household and someone that likes indoor plants! I'm looking for something a bit longer term and I'm quite willing to negotiate on most things, the only must is you have to be LGBT friendly! If any of this intrigues you please send me a message and we will discuss further!
I have lived in share-houses for years, so have all of the training and good habits you need in someone who you're going to share a space with. I also really love living with people I click with, it's so important to feel like you're at home - not just in a house :) I work full time at the Department of Planning and Environment in stakeholder engagement, and in my spare time I teach yoga at a small studio in Lane Cove (and am always looking for people to practice my teaching on!). If that sounds good to you, let's team up! I'm looking to move around the end of November or December.
