I am from Austria and new to the city, will travel a lot but also explore Sydney. I love good company, wine nights and cooking, respect other‘s privacy and also sometimes just want to be by myself. If you are looking for someone to bring good vibes to your apartment, knows boundaries and is tidy, I could be the right flatmate :)
Hi I am working full time in Mac Park as an engineer. Looking for sociable room mates who a tidy and keen to do activities together or just chill out and watch tv. Would prefer room mates under 26, dont mind which gender as long as your tidy.
I'm looking for a private room, preferably furnished, somewhere close to the city. I've just moved to Sydney from the UK for work. I'm 25, work full-time in PR and love finding great places to eat/drink, watch movies, play football and go see live music. Ideally I'd like to become friends with my new housemates, but of course will respect your need for space! I'm a non-smoker and will keep the place clean and tidy.
I'm Allan, 30-years old, work full time in video production in the CBD. I'm pretty laid back, and I usually keep to myself after work hours, but I do enjoy having chats on the couch over a drink, or sharing dinner round the table. Weekends I might be out half the time or at home relaxing/reading/playing games. If you have a movie night I'll be there. Also if you have any board games I'd love to try them out. Room would need to have a built-in wardrobe. I have bedroom furniture as well as a small desk & computer so it would be great to squeeze these in my bedroom. I also recently bought a brand new fridge and washing machine, so I'd love to bring these if possible. I have other furniture if need be (couch, dining set), but that stuff I'd be more willing to part with.
I’m a young professional looking to move closer to the city! I work in the sports industry and generally have long hours, but in my down time I like to be active, travel and enjoy a cheeky wine. I'm searching for a place that’s clean and modern. I have another who is interested in teaming up and we are looking for a like minded professional to join us!
Easy going, open-minded, responsible co-op student from Germany looking for a nice place to stay :) I work for Nokia in Munich and got the chance to do an internship in Sydney. I’ve lived in shared apartments before and only made good experiences so far!
i'am a student in macquarie university , am a super friendly guy , who likes to hangout with friends and grab a bear , am said that am super fun to hangout , very easy going , am flexible to share with male or female. looking forward
I've been in Australia since mid-2015, did my Masters degree from Melbourne. I'm new to Sydney - an ICT professional working full time in the government, very easy going, a quiet person, clean, respect privacy and can team up for an occasional trip to explore Sydney.
Ahoy hoy! My name's Anthony, I'm 25 and I've just moved from Brisbane to Sydney for work. I work in retail and marketing fulltime in the city so I'm pretty happy and open to anywhere close to the CBD! I'm friendly and easy to get along with, have plenty of experience in a shared setting and a bit of a clean freak (nothing over the top of course). I workout so I can eat and cook copious amounts of food and as much as I love a quiet night it (because let's face it, I'm getting old), I do love my nights out. I'm all about that fashun, love me marvel movies (nerd alert) and a heap more. My ideal housemate (or housemates) would be of similar age (kinda) and have similar interests. Nothing exact though, I want to keep it interesting. So If I sound like I'd be a good fit in your share house, or if you're keen on teaming up, let's talk business.
Hi there! I just moved to Sydney for an exchange semester and now urgently looking for a place to call home:). I am an easy going flatmate, always lived shared flats for the past 8 years in all sizes from 3 to 12 people. To feel comfortable for me means that the vibe is good and everyone gets along with each other. Originally from Germany, but spend the last year in Austria and before that some time in Rwanda and South Africa. I love to travel and getting to know new places if I find the time. Also I make really good pizza and chai tea!
I am polite, respectful, friendly, open-minded, and always happy for a chat. I love sports (all kinds but specific interest in futsal and badminton), and music. Also, I am into game nights and Netflix binging, but also need and understand the need for some space and alone time.
My partner Kevin and I are looking for other people to team up with and start a share house. We would ideally like a 1 bedroom with our own bathroom and 1 parking space. We don't mind moving into an existing share house or starting one with people. I work in Human Resources and Kevin works in Investment Banking. We are extremely tidy and considerate of communal spaces, both of us have lived out before in Melbourne with flatmates so this experience is not new to us. We are not party animals but would love to share a space with people who wouldn't mind having dinner or a drink or two every now and then. We both work full time so during the week days we wouldn't be home until about 6-7pm (sometimes later). On the weekends, we like to spend our time together or go out and catch up with friends and family. We consider ourselves to be fun and outgoing but also peace and quiet :) We are pretty normal and ordinary... we enjoy things that most people do i.e. brunch, drinking with friends, movies, EPL, indoor soccer, tv shows. We want to live somewhere where it is walking distance to work so somewhere in Pyrmont or Glebe would be ideal. Our current lease ends 1st September so we are ready to move in anytime after that! We have most of the furniture for the living room space i.e. 3 seater sofa, tv, tv unit, coffee table, lamp, microwave, fridge along with most kitchen utensils. Depending on what our flatmates have, we may decide to sell some stuff beforehand if we double up. Apologies for the extensive post but we did want to make sure we give you a good (long) summary of who we are before you contact us! We look forward to hearing from you! Christina & Kevin
Hello!! I am looking for a private room/shared accommodation near North Sydney station +2kms. I am 35/M single, from Mumbai. I love travelling and photography. I am a telecommunication professional working in CBD. PM me if anyone has some leads, Please PM me
Hi there! I am a Head Teacher working at the private schools at Eastern Suburbs for codecamp, mainly teaching students how to code by making computer games. My mum and sister is coming to stay with me for a year or so, hence I am looking for a self-contained 1 bed studio. I am in my 2nd year at MQ Uni so I would like a place for long term as I still have a year and a half left of my undergrad degree. I don't smoke, drink or bring friends over. I am an early childhood educator so you would find me more polite than others. As a family we are not loud. My mum is getting old and is really religious and we don't have relatives visiting us as well. If you see this fits you, contact me here at flatmates with your cell number and I will respond back ASAP. Cheers!
My name is Samantha (30) and I work as an Architectural designer at an Architecture firm in Surry Hills. I love art, plants, being active (running, yoga...name it and I'll try it out). I am clean, respectful and friendly.
Hi, I'm Paul. I am a 37 year old engineer/development manager who works a pretty regular 5 day week, often obscenely long hours. I am rarely overseas for work, so generally home most nights when work doesn’t hold me up. I love geeky stuff like comedy shows, gaming, tech, and building new things (then having them not work and throwing them out). I am also studying Mandarin, which I am really really bad at. I love to cook, love to eat, and would like to share with someone who hopefully either appreciates the odd good meal, or doesn't mind me taking over the kitchen now and then. I also collect wine (but most is in offsite storage), so if you are too, or want to learn, then I'd be thrilled. I have a car but may end up selling it. In the short term I have somewhere to keep it. But would prefer somewhere with a space. I have a lot of my own furniture (TV, cooking gear, wine cabinets, etc), but if the place is furnished, I can leave it in storage. I am looking for a place with someone that is relatively spacious (the place, not the person), with ideally a yard or a balcony. Anyway, that’s enough about me. Look forward to hearing from you. Paul
I'm looking for a comfy place to stay. I'm very easy going and considerate of others.I'm clean, friendly and respectful. I've lived in a number of sharehouses overseas and know how to be thoughtful of others.
