Hi Guys! I'm Ben and I am currently on the hunt for new digs! I previously worked at a salary packaging company working shifts between 8am - 7pm but am currently in between jobs and looking for a change to start the new year with! During the week I am too buggered after work to do much but blob out on the sofa binging on Netflix, but I do enjoy drinks on a friday after a hard week to unwind and occasionally go out to boogie if I'm not too tired! In my spare time I love to garden (definately a green thumb here!) I would describe myself as pretty outgoing and definately someone that speaks with no filter! A good flatmate would be one that doesn't hide in their room all day, likes to have a chat every now and then, but who is also mature enough to know that sometimes you just need your own space! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask away! Cheers, Ben
Dear People We are two girls fresh to Melbourne, I’m from Germany although you wouldn’t hear it in my accent and Kathryn is from London. We’re both in our mid twenties, thoroughly house trained and are looking for a house to make our home. Ideally in Brunswick East, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Carlton, Richmond or Footscray and on a budget of $200pw. Ideal move in date is the end of this month. We’re both gonna be working in hospitality and although ideally we are looking for two rooms in one house but we also won’t mind sharing a room. What we are really looking for a is a nice house where people don’t just live in the same house but become pals, share meals and glasses of wine and the odd night out. I’m really into cooking and would love to get into some gardening so a house with a nice backyard and a good kitchen as well as a good-sized social area is what we’re looking for. I know that these are things everybody is looking for and as much as I don’t wanna blow our own trumpet too much I can confidently say we are a great addition to any shared house. After four years of living in shared houses we are both well house trained, will clean up after ourselves and I personally find cleanliness pretty damn important so living with me basically means you’ll be living in a clean house. Kathryn did music at uni, I studied hospitality, our interests lie in music, going to gigs and museums, going dancing, dinner parties with the housemates and friends. I’m a sucker for a good Netflix binge watch evening. We both smoke and I’d like a 4/20 friendly house and yes we indulge in the naughty and fun things most of our generation does but if you’re not a party house then we will obviously respect that. Generally we are both easy going, down to earth, outgoing sociable and respectful people that like meeting new people, having a cheeky glass of wine with the housemates or a good group shindig but will also respect everyone’s needs for privacy. If you wanna know anything else about us please just get in touch! Love, Leonie and Kathryn
- social work student at RMIT - Personality -wise I've been described by others as like a real life Tina from Bob's Burgers - skills: cooking, opening jars, telling dad jokes - Likes: netflix, drinking various beverages with friends/housemates, old movies, trying new foods, dad jokes, literally all animals - 100% Ravenclaw PS: In case you're looking at starting a team up or you just signed a lease, I come with a tv, coffee table, a microwave and lots of kitchen stuff
Hi! I'm looking to move into an inner north room ASAP. Will consider Footscray area too. I have accommodation in the place I was renting in Geelong but I no longer need to be there so I'm returning to Melbourne. Me: Clean. Reliable. Respectful of all cultures and lifestyles and can move in any time. No gender household preferred. Audio producer by trade. Maybe I can produce that record you're sitting on if you let me sing harmony backing ;) You: Are who you are and I can fit in around that. I'm an asset to a house share situation so hit me up. I might banter in Suessian rhyme. You may find it sublime. And like my rent payments they are always on time. <3 I've been in Geelong a couple of years for education reasons but that's all in the past (hah). SMASH CUT: (Present Day) I am really looking forward to moving back into Melbourne and establishing myself here and would be grateful to take on that space you have available. Still have accommodation til Feb 15 but I can move at a moments notice and will do so if required. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi, I’m Sinead, a recent university graduate currently working four days a week in the city. After living in Clayton for a few years while I completed my honours thesis, I’m looking to move to the western or northern suburbs to be closer to friends and family. I’m hoping to find a relaxed household with people I can chat with, but also have some time to myself. I love getting out in the garden, so I’m hoping to find a place with a yard, or at least space for a few pot plants. Definitely not a party person, my idea of a good weekend is enjoying some board games or movies with a handful of friends. While I have a car, I prefer not to drive to work, so I’m looking for a place with good access to public transport. I pay my bills on time and clean up after myself. Ideally I’m looking to move around early February, but would be able to move sooner for the right place.
We’re a Swedish couple, taking a break from the Swedish cold for a couple of months! We’re very easy going and want to get to know Melbourne everyday life and culture. Frida, 25, has a working holiday visa and will be working in retail or restaurant. She’s also applying for architecture school in Stockholm and will be working on the admission test in Melbourne. Benjamin, 32, has taken time off from work as graphic designer and project manager in the tech business, to focus on personal startups and to get a nice break from ten years in employment. He will attend tech meet ups, work on personal projects, and do touristy things during the stay.
Hey, my names Rachel! Im a full time student at Victoria university and i study paramedicine. I spend most of my time at university or tucked away somewhere quietly studying. Im friendly and easy to live with, very clean and i like a house in order. My favourite hobby is travelling but when grounded in melbourne over the semester i enjoy cooking and exploring new places, after a long week i find it nicest to sit and read or binge a little bit of netflix. I have lived out of home for the past year at a place where rent was due the previous month, i was always early with my payment and my rent will always be on time with you too. If a bubbly, friendly and tidy student sounds like a good addition to your house, I'm the one! Unfortunately as i commute to uni i will need a space to park my much beloved swift. Im very easy going and love pets! I myself don't like smoking so if any of your tenants are smokers please inform me. Feel free to ask me any other questions you have! ~Rachel-Emily.
My name is Chau and I’m working full time for an optical company. I’m an easy-going, trustworthy, reliable, respectful and tidy person, who would want the same from a roommate. I like reading, listening to music, shopping and outdoor walk.
Hey, I'm Lily, currently full time student doing a bachelor of film meaning I pretty much spend most of my time either watching shows or studying. When I'm not I'm often reading or drinking gallons of tea. I'm always respecting of housemates and how they like to keep things, so I pretty much slide into however the house is currently running. If you have any questions let me know, would love to hear from you. Looking for a place to move asap, preferably before uni starts back up again on the 5th of Feb. I listed a few suburbs, but most of Melbourne is fine :) Thanks
I’m a very welcoming/ friendly person, I clean up after myself so you wouldn’t have a problem dealing with any of my mess. I get along with everyone! Especially the furry friends, I enjoy cooking because my mother’s a Thai chef and taught me a lot growing up. I occasionally would have a glass of wine or pear cider. I currently finished tafe and is now looking for a full time job closer to the city that is convenient to where ever I stay because at the moment living in the s.e suburbs is too far for me.
I'd love to live someone in the inner west (sorry guys not looking out near Tarneit and Laverton!). I'd prefer to be close to public transport. I love music (heavy metal in particular), exploring, cheese!, dogs and musical theatre. I love a quiet bevvy on the weekend - not much of a partier but pretty social all the same.
I am currently a masters student in University of Melbourne. I want to have a quiet place to study and relax.I enjoy cooking.I am happy to share meals.I want a place near to a train station. I am fun loving and enjoy hanging with people during the weekends. I prefer to stay in a studio, two bedroom apartment .
Hi! Pat here, and reaching out to you. I’m looking for share accomodation with 1 other house mate, although will move in with 2 if the feelings right. Want to live with working professionals ideally in their 30s 40s. Im 38 myself but have a youthfulness which leads people to believe Im around 32 😄 I currently work for Toll managing accounts. Before that I was in realestate sales, and before that completed a degree in biomedical science. Im pretty relaxed and chill and spend my spare time watching stand up comedy, prison reality shows on netflix, documentaries about conspiracy theories, playing guitar, training my singing voice and learning/writing new songs (sing in 2 bands), and catching up with mates and family. Most importantly Im respectful of peoples space and will always do my bit to keep things tidy. Looking for similar house in this regard. Want to move in straight away so lets fnd each other and start splitting the costs of life. Pat
I'm looking for a place to settle for a year or so while I work my way towards going overseas. I hope to find people who are chill and keen to hangout together at times, not just lock themselves in their rooms forever... 😅 I like a bit of fun (well, a lot) but I love my down-time too.
Hey there! I am moving to Melbourne on the 12th of February to do my masters in management at la trobe university city campus! i've travelled a lot, so i understand different cultures and their way of living. So I’m super comfortable with all walks of life. I am very friendly, adjustable, clean, crisp, tidy, responsible and would be thrilled to learn about different cultures and their values. Tbh, I Prefer going out than to the uni! So the priority is not all about studies. Although, Private time while private time, study while study and at leisure i’d love to go out for a beer and just cannot say no to some some sick parties on the weekends with the fam! Looking forward to learn surfing so a House near the beach would be perfect. Other than that fifa, NAPS, sporadic gym goer, traveling, cooking, Netflix and sip on some good wine is what I do to kill time. To be more precise I’m up for anything, you just gotta name it, well let's game it! Traveling around during holidays? Yes please! If you’re interested I suggest you leave a message. Cheers 🍻
I'm dependable, trustworthy, a little quirky, and honest (although it might take a little while for me to fully open up to people). I'm a quiet person in general but I'm also friendly and will become more talkative and excitable once I've gotten used to the people I'm around. I'll admit in my personal spaces I can be a small bit messy but otherwise I consider myself to be clean and organised. I'm willing to negotiate and compromise and would rather talk problems out than argue. My hobbies include reading, watching Netflix and anime, and a whole lot of drawing and painting, as well as playing console, computer and tabletop games. Also, and I'm not entirely sure how relevant this is, but i really love Japanese culture and language and so i can read and speak beginner-intermediate Japanese. Well, that pretty much covers it without giving an entire life story, ahaha. Please consider me!
My names Josh, I’m 22 and have recently relocated from up in Townsville to Melbourne to commence study, I am very clean and tidy and very easy to get along with. I would like to find some room mates roughly my age, seeing as though I am new to the area and do not know many people. I am very respectful of other people’s space and privacy, although I do love a chat. Please don’t hesitate to give me a call if you think I’m the right guy to move into a spare room in your place.
