Hi guys. My name is Magda, 22yrs and I've been living with my partner Paul in port Melbourne for about 2 years already. I work on the weekends and study at Melbourne Uni twice a week. My boyfriend is an entrepreneur and has his own business online. We are both very chill and easy to deal with. The thing is, we are moving to bali by the end of June, and our lease at our current house is about to end so we need a place to stay in between. (3 months) Paul Will be travelling back and forth to bali during this 3 months time as he needs to start looking for a house for us over there and get everything set, so it's gonna be pretty much just me that you will actually share the house! We are pretty normal people, and looking forward to meet our new flatmates Haha
We are two French girls, we have already travel in all the east coast, with our van. We love meet new people, and enjoy our time with. We want to stay and work in Brisbane, that why we need a friendly place ! We are tidy, clean and respectful. We love cooking if you are interested ! We would have a sharehouse asap ! Thank you :) Ps : we need a place to park our van if it's possible (it is a 2,5m)

I don't smoke, but occassionally, i like to have a few beers wit my friends. I am very tidy, homely and quiet. I try to respect other people's space as well as their lifestyle, sexual orientation, religion and culture, but I'm also good for a chit chat every now and then. Uhhh... I'm loyal, dependable and nice. and I'm open to sharing a house with either male, female or both And yeah! I've got no pets.
Hey there! I am moving to Melbourne in March and am looking for a place to stay. I am a mechanical engineer, Indian by passport but grew up between India, England and Malaysia. So its my first time in Australia. When I am not working I am generally reading a book, watching a movie, or working on my music (singing). Huge F.R.I.E.N.D.S fan. I cook decent pasta and Indian food but only when I am in the mood for it. Vegetarian by choice, And I tend to keep my room, kitchen (if i do cook) and bathrooms clean.
I’m Jano, 28 years old from Germany. At the moment, I’m doing Work and Travel, planning to stay 3 to 5 months in Melbourne. I have a job in Braybrook. I would describe myself as relaxed and open-minded, but still willing to get stuff done when needed. When not working, I enjoy surfing, cooking and playing guitar. I'm looking for flat mates who want to spend time with each other like cooking or having a beer or wine together. I hope with this I can improve my English. 😊 I’m experienced in co-living, as I spent several years sharing places with different people.
Hello,I am Sky,looking for a room in between CBD and Brunswick, near tram or train station. I work fulltime, love laughing and outdoor sports, enjoy studying in morning quiet library and having fun in the gym, also like socializing and knowing new people! Would love to find a comfortable home where after one day work or study we can relax and enjoy life itself! Good reference:)
I am happy to move in a shared house or start one in the area listed. I have all white goods like fridge TV, L shaped leather couch, washing and of course all the kitchen utensils. If we find a place with a backyard, I even have a BBQ and backyard furniture :). Let me know your thoughts. I would be inspecting properties or move into a shared place.
Hi there I'm a young professional working full time with MLC in Docklands. As a housemate, I'm sociable and enjoy a good chat in the kitchen/lounge room on the odd evening but also know how to respect personal space. You'll find me considerate and tidy and I don't have a lot of furniture or other stuff to clutter up the house with. Am partial to floorboards for sliding around in socks :) Am looking for a non-party yet sociable sharehouse.
Hi! We are two spanish students, working part-time jobs with Student Visa. We´re going to stay here for the next 8 months. We´re very responsible and tidy people, we pay in the agreed time. We can stay with males or females, we´re non smokers and we love to watch and play sports. We are very sociable and gentle, and we are looking forward to move to a nice and comfortable place :)
After graduating a degree in surveying, I've gained an excellent gig sitting in an office opposite Argyle Square in Carlton undertaking research and spatial analytics (look I'm still learning what it exactly is also). Because of this, and no longer requiring Centrelink sponsorship to survive, I'm looking to move closer to the city/work/social hubs such that my time isn't being wasted away in commuting. I'm an easy going, friendly person that understands a share house (preferably home) dynamic and the respect, courtesy and effort required to keep a house clean, tidy* and in turn a place that all feel comfortable in. I'm not one to hide away in my room and love getting out and about on either my treddly (bicycle) or whatever social occasion has warranted it. I can offer the house plenty of furniture and plants that are thriving** but can easily move into a place that is fully furnished. Look I'm honestly stuck for wards and hating writing this much like a resume or cover letter so if I haven't turned you off me already and still willing to meet me in person that would be excellent. Look if you want to know more about me, don't hesitate on the questions as I hate having to give a spiel about myself. Move in dates are flexible, as I am more interested to find a place that I'm happy with. Honestly, the size of room, quality of house aren't really big concerns of mine, I just want a place where I can enjoy everyone's company and in turn they can enjoy mine! * Mum made a conscious effort to domesticate us at a young age for all the free child labour she could get out of me and my brothers ** some definitely, others are debatable
Hello there! I'm Tamara, 32 years old from Brazil. I recently moved to Melbourne to study, but I also work full time. I spent two years in Australia with the working holiday visa and now I'm studying Travel and Tourism. I think what makes me a great person to live with is that I'm easy-going, but I also like the house to be tidy and clean, so I can be relaxed in a way, but also responsible. I grew up in Brazil, but moved to Germany in my 20s, where I spent 7 years. Later Germany became a bit boring for me, so I went traveling and lived in different places like Switzerland and Cambodia. Now I'm based in Melbourne for a couple of years and I love the city. Music, cinema and arts are my life. I love to exercise as well with yoga, running or swimming. I'm a spiritual person, who loves outdoor activities, but also to spend a chilled out day in bed listening to music or watching movies. It's difficult to write in a short note why I'd be a good housemate, but I honestly consider myself a good girl at heart, good fun, and very laid-back. Hope you can consider me as your future housemate :)
I am an open fun (German) roommate with years of experience in sharing apartments. I like to cook and be social, but also appreciate some quiet time now and then. I work in hospitality on Chapel so I do like to go out for a drink or two. I am not the cleanest person ever (so probably not the right fit for people with OCD) but I keep the common areas tidy. I am really easy going so just message me and you can get to know me!
Irish guy moving to Melbourne. Very easy going and clean. Looking for full time finance work. Outgoing, so normally not in the house too much, love meeting new people and I have never had any issues with prior room mates, I can give you contact info for them, if you would like to talk to them directly for their perspective. I love cooking (for myself and others) and I am very approachable if you do have anything you need to say. Moving to a new city, open to meeting anyone! Feel free to get in touch
Relocated to Melbourne from New Zealand 2 years ago. Currently working casually at several jobs, including one for City of Darebin. I regularly dance, swim and walk. I like to discover new places and people as well as quiet time to myself. I meditate daily and do 10 minutes of yoga stretching in the mornings. I'm involved with Melbourne Spoken Word poetry and regularly attend poetry and music gigs. I like books, libraries and reading too. I'm not a TV junkie - can take or leave it, so I'm something of a creative intellectual as well as being quite sociable. I work pretty hard also. I regularly house and pet sit for people because I love animals. That also means there are periods when I'm not home.
I've recently moved over from the UK and looking for a place to call home. I'm very clean, tidy, reliable and respectful of people's things. I'm a finance professional so will be working during the week. Love meeting new people and happy to chill out with flat mates but also like my own space too. Hobbies include dancing, Thai boxing, keeping fit but love food, all types of food :)
We are Unimelb students (getting our master's degrees), we have received scholarships, that cover all our expenses. So we are capable to pay for several months ahead. Looking for a 3-4 bedroom apartment in CBD, or in 15-20 minutes walk to our university
Hey, I'm Conall! I'm 25 and looking to move from Perth to Melbourne. I'm a keen clubber on the weekends and love dancing to house, techno and trance music, but most of the rest of the time I'm fairly chill and am more likely to be found curled up watching Netflix and eating snacks. I'm tidy and keep mostly to myself, but also enjoy a drink and a chat with housemates. I'm trans/non-binary so I'm definitely looking for somewhere LGBT+ friendly! If you wanna know anything else about me feel free to message :)
I`m a 17 year old female studying full time in the city the reason i don`t live with my mum is cause she lives in the country were there is no transport for me to get to the city. I`m a very down to earth outgoing person with a bubbly, caring, honest, helpful, loving personality I am very neat and tidy i do like to have time to my self now and again i`m very good to talk to or have a laugh with
We are both moving to Melbourne from Sydney for roughly a month with work. We are both laid-back, friendly, clean and respectful of others. We have both also lived out of home for a number of years. Most of the time during the week we will be at work.
I moved to Melbourne from Adelaide over a year ago, and have felt at home in this city every day since. Currently I study full-time in the CBD, and work in retail a few days a week. That may sound like I'm not around a lot, but I enjoy time at home, too. Balance is key: love the outdoors, getting artsy, and going for a good boogie. I'm a social gal for sure, but foremost I respect people in their spaces. Although I'm 20, I have spent the last few years independent. I know what it takes to be considerate of others and responsible for myself, and I'm always willing to discuss household logistics. I have specified that I'm looking to stay for 1 year or more, however I'm happy with 6-9 months if a superb opportunity calls for it.
Quiet living, easy going nature with no commitments other than work monday to friday. Weekends I'm mostly out an about with friends and family. I'm looking for a room near the beach and with my own bathroom. I don't have a car so need to be walking distance to the train station.
I am a 28 year old guy from Amsterdam who is currently traveling the world after working 8 years as a young professional in Telecommunications. I've recently arrived in Melbourne and I noticed I really love it here. That's why I'm looking for a place to call home. I'm also planning to work as much as possible in the next few months. People appreciate me because of my positive, outgoing and happy attitude. I'm reliable, trustworthy and very social. I would describe myself as the 'just trying to be happy kinda guy'. I'm sociable, reliable, friendly, considerate and trustworthy. I'm a vegetarian and a smoker (but can smoke outside), I love beers and I am a music lover in general (would love to learn to play any instrument!). Other things I appreciate: food & cooking, sustainable living, serious conversations, coffee, spirituality and the smell of washing powder. Ideally I'm seeking for a chilled out, homely and cosy plase to call home in area's like Fitzroy, Coburg, Brunswick, Northcote, Richmond, Collingwood, St. Kilda, Windsor or surrounding area's. BUT, I'm really flexible so if you have a room somewhere else, please let me know as well! At the moment I don't have a place to live so I would rather move in yesterday then tomorrow :) So, if you concider to rent out a room and you are looking for an awesome housemate, don't hesitate to contact me right away so we could have a chat in real life soon (that probably gives a way better impression of myself then this story)
Hi, I am a working professional who moved here from Auckland 6 months ago. I'm looking for accommodation within the CBD or CBD fringe. I'm pretty laid back and tidy. I like relaxing in the weekend and checking out local foodie spots. I am sociable and outgoing but also respect others' needs for privacy. Get in touch if you'd like to share a flat with me!
I'm tidy, clean, used to live by myself and in share houses. I love pets, don't like party houses (but I love to have some few friends around sometimes). Like my privacy but need human contact as well. I lived in Latin America and Europe, where I learned a lot about different cultures and habits.
Hi I'm Vadim. I am Born from a Belgian father and Australian mother. Spent the first 20 years living in Brussels, then I left for University in the Netherlands and a semester I'll never forget In Lima, Peru. I started my professional career in Hotel Management in SYDNEY for two years and now in Melbourne for over a year. I am looking for a private room in a shared house with a vibrant and strong knit community of people. That's what I'm all about - being around fun and happy people willing to share experiences and have drinks/dinner with. A nice group of housemates that I look forward to coming home to and unwind with after a long day at the office. I play guitar (acoustic so not too loud), I ride a motorcycle (Harley Davidson street 500) and I like to laugh and watch a diverse-range of films. Looking forward to meeting you and becoming a part of something new. Vad
- Happy to become a part of the family or hide under the staircase Harry Potter style and do my own thing. - 25 y/o from the vast lands of Canada, working as a consultant here on a contract - raised by a cleaner, so I tend to clean in my spare time - like to cook large batches and enjoy taste testers of my experiments; I make a mean roast - I make a meaner G&T - more than happy to crack a bottle of wine and hang out as a household - Ex-Financier so I pay on time; a Lannister always pays his debts - Reading, running, diving, soccer, travels, long chats fueled by point #4; I’m easy going and open minded to debates and opinions - Board games are my jam; they ruin and strength all friendships. Overall, just a laid back guy looking to enjoy Melbourne and join a household!
An Aussie (Thai background) studying engineering. Looking to stay a minimum of 9 months but probably longer. I'm a pretty relaxed person who will hang out with you but will also respect your privacy. Have had experience sharing a flat in the past and cleaning, etc. My hobby is playing tennis. Looking forward to meeting you :)
Hi, I am Bianca, 28 years old. I enjoy travelling and have previously lived overseas in London for 2 years. I am a PE teacher, like watching sport and currently play AFL for a local team. On weekends I usually catch up with friends for dinner and a few drinks. I am a clean, relaxed and reliable person to live with who enjoys sharing meals through the week. I look forward to hearing from you soon if you think I would be a fit. :)
Sean and I are from England. We are an easy going couple who like to chill and watch cartoons as well as have a beer or three with our pals. We respect our flatmates space and are clean/tidy. Sean is a barista and I am a baker :) We are in Australia on a 1 yr holiday working/visa and will be spending 6 months, at least, working/living in Melbourne
Hey there! My name is Tegan. I'm 22 years old and am moving to Melbourne from Bendigo in order to study at La Trobe Bundoora. I am also currently completing my Certs III and VI in Fitness to allow me to work as a personal trainer :) I am super friendly and am quiet when going about my own thing but enjoy hanging out as well 😊
I'm a happy easy going sort, I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, I LOVE cooking with fresh produce and exercising whenever I get the chance- walking, running, yoga, kayla in the lounge room- you name it I'm down. I'm working full-time in childcare and studying my Diploma of Early childhood by distance, so during the week I'm quite busy and tired and will most likely (try to) spend time on my computer studying. On the weekends I try not to take life too seriously, I like to meet new people/experience new things, eat out, eat in, see friends/family, love live music and enjoy being in good company. In terms of living I am very clean and would benefit housing with similar minded/mature people who respect each other's privacy but enjoy having a yarn (:
Hi My name is Toni, I am an 18years old student from China, now studying fashion and textile merchandising at RMIT Brunswick. Now looking for an available private room to rent. I am really friendly but quite and as I spent 3 years in Sydney and finished high school study. There will be no problems in communication. I like to ride my bike and go to the gym a lot, so Keeping myself fit is my biggest hobby at the moment, I like to listen to lots of EDM as well. I also have previous experience in renting the room so I'll be familiar with the procedure, definitely easy to deal with. My parents will be paying for my expenses in Australia so there will be no difficulty paying the rent on time. Cheers
I've just moved over from Adelaide and decided to move to Melbourne after spending most of last year in Europe and a bit of Asia too - so escaping my home town again. I’ve shared many houses in my time and know how to clean up after myself and generally being an easy housemate to get along with. I enjoy sharing houses with social housemates who are keen to share the occasional meal and a few drinks - so that kind of situation would be ideal - but also aware of peoples personal space and enjoy my own down time too. I like seeing live music, the beach, getting out into nature but I’m also a web developer and work on my own web projects in me free time when I’m not out in the sun.
I'm 25 from Surf Coast VIC, recently started working in Richmond full time and the commute is becoming a little too much! I've just finished a lease, was living with 2 girls my age for 2 years or so. I'm pretty chilled, easy going but also can be very social at times. I'm clean and respectful of people's space etc! looking for a home not just a room. Interested in sharing with people my age :) also interesting in teaming up to find a place!
I'm Suzie from Germany and I'm very open-minded, easy-going and uncomplicated. I'm very impressed by Melbourne and I want to make the best of my stay here. When I'm not at work, I love to cook and spending some time with my lovely friends. Furthermore I love petting my cat Filou and listen too electronic music and deep house. One of my biggest interests is fashion...I'm literally a fashion addict. Since I have a full-time job here in Melbourne I'm reliable to pay the weekly rent. Cleanliness and respect for the host are self-evident to me. I want to explore as much as possible in Melbourne and it would be cool, if you're also an open-minded person, who can give me some recommendations :)
I work full time and am also studying in the city. I would like minimum 3 month stay and bills included if possible. I have my own furnishings. I have a very busy schedule so mostly just keep to myself to study when at home. Generally a quiet person but would like to have a housemate that wouldn't mind sharing a dinner and having a chat :-)
Hi! We're a couple and a single guy, I'm 28 from Italy, my boyfriend 24 from France and our friend is 31 from Vietnam (Aussie citizen). We're looking for a double and a single room in a quiet sharehouse 'cause we're working and we need a place to rest. We like to live with other people and we're use to share (we were living in a 14 rooms sharehouse), we love music, movies and food, we like to have a drink and a chat all together, we're very respectful, tidy and clean. If you have 2 free rooms or you want to start a new sharehouse together contact me!
Hi I am from South America, i am looking for a private room close to the city because i want to live close to work. I'm very tidy, responsible with my bill and love chatting but also having my own time to rest because I work really hard. I love dancing so I can teach some salsa moves, I speak Spanish fell free to learn with me! I am a good housemate, I respect others so I can be treated in the same way.
hi guys, I'm new in this great city. got a full time job here 8-5 and enjoy exploring the rest of the time. I'm a clean and tidy person, loves sports/xfit, cinema, interior designs, and I cook at home. so welcome to have a beer, or share some Chinese homemade food with me ;) I also respect a lot of privacy, so I can be very quiet sometime.
I am from India, I will be studying Master of Management (Project Management) in La Trobe University City Campus. I am extrovert and open-minded.I am a non-smoker and non-drinker ( not even occasional), I don't mind smoking or drinking unless I'm insisted so please take a note of it. Also I'm quite possessive to my religious aspects (like eating non-halal food, drinking and others) but not extreme. I respect privacy and never do something that will embarrass or disappoint my fellow roommates. Apart from this I like to go out, play games (indoor or outdoor), gym, cooking, reading, helping the fellow roommates the best from my side, being clean and hygienic, taking care of myself and little OCD to few things :P. I don't mind sharing room with people from any background. If you are from India or Muslim, we would love to be with you. So either way I will be fine. If you have pets like cats or dogs, that will also not be a problem ( I'm cat-lovers :P but wouldn't mind a dog. ) Also, If there is any accommodation like Paying Guest (PG) or Homestays in the city or suburbs I will also consider that. :) P.S : Once again, I am great to live with.
Living in St Kilda at the moment, I'm a musician looking to move closer to bandrooms in brunswick for gigging. Teacher of psychology classes at Melb Uni. Looking for a communal sharehouse with easy going people :)
