I am sociable, friendly and respectful. I work 4 days a week and like to get out and about on the weekend, though need my down time at home too. Travelling is my passion. I also enjoy bushwalking, gardening, reading, music and yoga. I'm keen to find somewhere that's within a half an hour walk of the city, have my own bathroom and a spot to park my car. Ideally I would like to share with 1 or perhaps 2 other people who are a similar age to me and don't mind a chat over a drink or 2 :) Please don't contact me if your place is not within walking distance of the city. Thanks!
Hello! I am looking for short term accommodation/sublet for the full month of March (and possibly the last week in Feb), as I will be in Adelaide for 4-6 weeks for a jewellery design course. I am a down to earth 31 year old Canadian girl, creative, easygoing, clean, and respectful. I am friendly and sociable, but tend to live quite quietly at home. Ideally my perfect situation for the month would be a small furnished room in a share house fairly close to the city, with internet and access to laundry for a max budget of up to $200 incl. per week. Extra details - I like animals (but don't have any), and I'm LGBT and vegetarian (not that you have to be either of those things of course!). Send me a message if you think I would be a good fit for your house! Cheers! x Michelle
Hi all, My name's Jack and I'm currently studying at the University of Adelaide and working part time. I'm friendly, respectful, and clean, whilst enjoying being a social and also having my own space to retreat to. In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends, play board games, read, watch movies, cook, and build projects. Currently, I am on a study tour over in Europe, and will be unable to sign rent agreements. I am strictly able to move in on the 19th of Feb or before, but would accept tenancy before then. I am more than happy to help organise team accomodation for people without a current room to rent. As far as skills go, I'm good at fixing things, cooking, and cleaning, always willing to lend a hand. Thanks for your help, Jack
Hi ! My name is Mathilde, I am 22 and I am French. I currently study Management and I will arrive on 17 February in Adelaide to study at Unisa for one semester (3,5 months). I am looking for a furnished room, with a rent of $170 per week, which is not to far from the Unisa City West Campus in bus. It will be my first experience in Australia and then, I think sharing a flat is the best way to meet people and to integrate :) I am sociable, energetic, curious and a good cook. Please, don't hesitate to contact me for any information ! Best regards, Mathilde
Hey guys! My name is Lauren, I'm 25 and currently studying Nutrition & Food Science at Uni SA. I'm also working part time in a cafe in the CBD. I'm usually really busy with uni and work so in my down time I just like to hang out at home and just watch a movie or listen to some music or read. I also like going to yoga when I can (although I will be honest it's not very often! Haha.) I've lived in share houses for the last couple years now so know the drill when it comes to good housemate etiquette :) I'm looking for 2 or 3 other people to find a sharehouse with. I'm not fussed about gender or anything else, as long as you're friendly and clean and reliable :) I would prefer non-smokers. I've become really good friends with all of my past housemates and would hope that this would become the case again :) Ideally I would love to live near the beach, but am pretty flexible with location as long as it's not too far from the city/close to public transport. I have a cat called Theo so am hoping to find a pet friendly house/housemates. Any other questions feel free to message me :) Thanks! Lauren
Coming to Australia as a UofA international postgraduate student. I have traveled abroad multiple times, but never visited OZ. Reaching Adelaide on the 12th of February. Looking for a well lit furnished room with a desk. I have no scruples with bathroom sharing. I dont require a bed, as I enjoy sleeping on the floor. Im a very clean person and enjoy tidy living spaces. I love taking responsibility. I consider myself a mature and friendly person. Love pets in general. I have 3 Siamese, 1 Tabby and 1 Khao-Manee cats back home. I respect privacy and expect others to do the same. (Pretty much a golden rule scenario) Im a fitness freak. I love exercise and martial arts. Ill be your running partner. I am a boxing and Muay Thai practitioner. I really admire John Wayne Parr. Im not a party person and never consumed drugs and alcohol. Big fan of music. I usually enjoy Rock/Metal and Soul genres. I can play guitar, bass and keyboard. Oh, my favourite band from Australia is Parkway Drive. Would really love to see them someday. Hardcore video gamer. Not a fanboy to any brand. Thank you for your time :) Asad K
Friendly & outgoing individual, who is also good at being independent and respectful of others. Finished studying and working as a preschool teacher. Decided 2017 is time to move out and make a change. My interests include health & gym, cooking, movies, music. I am also very neat and tidy.
My name's Simon, I'm 27 and work in IT in the CBD. I'm a somewhat active guy (gym/kickboxing), into cars and PC gaming. Generally pretty private, but have zero issues being sociable (perhaps over a beer or wine) :). I tend to bulk make my weekly meals on a Sunday/Monday if that matters (cleanup included). I've lived by myself for the last few years and am over dropping boatloads of money on it. I'm pretty cruisy, tidy, and approachable; definitely one to pull my weight to make things work. I have most furnishings needed if required (only thing missing is a drier). No issue with pets, and while I don't have one myself, I'd love to get a dog in the near future (please chat to me about this if an issue!). My car is also currently my most prized possession (typical!), so I can't do street or overly visible parking :(. Feel free to message me if you want to know more!
Hey I am a busy student and part time worker and when I am not studying/working I am at the gym, doing muay thai, reading, playing guitar, learning spanish, eating or bombing out on the couch. I am pretty independent and mellow and am not looking for a party house.. Would be keen to live with chilled out and friendly housemates that are clean and respectful. I don't mind a beer and banter every now and then.. I love smashing the beach in summer and intend to be there often so if you are west side that is a plus. I'm after a fairly large room as I'll need a study space. Cheers amigos
Will live anywhere as long as it isnt too far North. Laid back, easy to get along with. at uni studying nursing love AFL and go to every crows game. looking for somewhere that people are tidy and respectful of others things.
Hi, I'm employed full-time in education sector, easy going, quiet and respectful, enjoy sports, fitness and making the most of the outdoors, not a party guy, don't do drugs, social drinker, non-smoker, low maintenance, happy to have a chat.
I'm Amy. I'm 25 and in my final year of a social work degree. I love food, beaches, spending time with friends, enjoying the festival season. I'm socially conscious/ progressive and would ideally live with people who are too. This year I'll be pretty busy with study, half the year doing honours and the other half on placement. I'm looking for a place which is quiet and relaxed but also a social environment with chats and the occasional shared meal. I like growing herbs so will give any veggie patches you might have some love and care. I'm pretty frugal and eco-conscious with power so my ideal place would be somewhere not too heavy on heating and cooling. I'm clean and tidy and really value tidy communal spaces. I'm flexible with move in dates, will likely be working at the Garden during the fringe so would like to find somewhere by then (late Feb) but can move anytime before then. If you think I might be a good fit for your house send me a text or email and I'll reply within the day.
I Moved from Victoria in March 2016 and have been staying with family since then, Now their house is being sold and I need to find somewhere to live, I am a single 32yo male employed full time, i am neat and tidy and keep to myself most of the time.
I am 50, single, young for my age (in my opinion!), and I work full time in retail at Kilburn. I'm quietly spoken and responsible, but enjoy socialising and I have a slightly quirky sense of humour. Some of my interests include walking, cycling, reading, eating out, going to the cinema, and road trips. I'm an active participant in Meetups. I can be flexible with the move date for the right property. Ideally I am seeking a place which is both close to my work, and near to or in the city. I have ten years' experience in share house living.
Hey! Just moved to Adelaide from sunny Noosa. I love to keep fit by cycling or running. I like to keep a clean house. I'm open minded and get on well with most people. Always up for a chat or a wine/beer on the weekend. Currently working in the CBD Mon - Fri 9-5. Prefer to move in with a good crew who are all mates rather than temporary student digs. Preferably a furnished room. p.s. not my dog :( But I love dogs!
I am a bubbly person who will no doubt make you laugh. I'm really down to earth and easy to get along with. I can have fun and be social but also be able to give space to have some personal time. I am from the country and am currently working part time at a diner. I am 21 and single. Thank you :)
Hi! My name is Natalya and I am from Russia. I am going to study at the University of Adelaide. My program is Master of Planning. Firstly, about location. I am looking for place, private room in shared house, when I can have space and opportunity for study. If there are bed, desk and wardrobe in the room, it is a perfect room for me!) Also for me one of the most important thing is heating and cooling system in the house. And it will be perfect, if my brother from Russia can stay in my room no more than a week!(of course with extra $). Secondly, about me. I am clean, tidy and responsible person. I was a volunteer's chief in Greece, and we helped in Wildlife hospital. All was fine!) All animals always had food and water) And territory of hospital always was clean!) So it will be OK if you have any kind of animals in the house. I really like drive! I have drive license and will be glad to help with driving if it is nessesary) Also I really like bike and swim. And long walks. I am easy going and open person, it is OK to have a little friend parties in the house, but just sometimes) Sometimes I prefer to spend time alone in my room with book or good film. Thirdly, I looking for house in any surburbs, but no more then 30-35 min to Uni by bus! So, please, don't be hesitate to contact me or write me any options and questions!
I'm energetic and friendly I love runs on the beach, food and wine, live music, meeting new people. I work full time in hospitality, and am looking for an easy going house mate who I can be myself around 😊
Just your typical bloke who likes having a beer, joke and just wants to have fun everywhere I go. I like a lot of water sports like surfing, water skiing wakeboarding just to name a few. I grew up in Victor Harbor and have just moved back from QLD. At the moment I'm working part time so I can start studying 👍🏻 I've got a beautiful American staffy who loves people and loves playing in the backyard.
Santi here! Am a 23yo Physio student at UniSA. Originally from Perth, have been in Adelaide for a year. Tried student accommodation but now looking for something a bit more comfortable. A bit of a quiet guy here, love catching up on the latest TV shows and teaching myself the ukulele. Definitely mindful when it comes to cleanliness, privacy and plain common sense around others.
We are a young laid back couple that both work full time. We have an adorable Chihuahua X Maltese dog named Charlie whom lives primarily outside. We are clean and do keep to ourselves a lot but would like to have a friendly relationship with housemates :)
Hi :) I’m easy-going, grounded and accepting of others. I’m a health science student pursuing a career in dietetics. As a tenant I am considerate, respectful and will happily contribute to the cleaning and up keep of a household. Having been raised as an only child I naturally like having my own space and time to myself. I truly love the outdoors, fashion and having a laugh. I am the kind of girl who will keep her room clean, stop to say hello and always be happy to lend a hand. I’m flexible with my move-in date however looking preferably would like to find a room that’s available around the 25th February. I currently live in Adelaide but am looking for accommodation for 2017 either in Adelaide or the Gold Coast. Feel free to message me for my contact details to talk further :)
Hello,I am Davis.I am 23 year old Taiwanese.I am going to study in Adelaide from March 2017,I am a non smoking, non drinking, casual and easy going person that I believe most I can get along with most people.however I am a heavy internet user so I prefer a place with high speed internet. I can be a little quiet around new people. I love food, watching movies, playing video games (especially with friends),
Clean and well presented. Friendly and easy to talk to. Have a love hate relationship with gym and ice cream. Also like a balance of being social but enjoying my own company. Don't trust anyone who don't eat sushi ❌ Play a bitta PS4, and enjoy doing outdoor activities but usually my social heavily depends on my bank account.
Hi, Im Dave. Im looking to move out of my apartment into a place with a bit more space, and for a change of scenery. I am currently studying a bachelor's degree at the University of Adelaide. I also work quite long hours, which does not leave me with much free time. When I do get time off however, my interests include gym/ fitness, reading, web development, business, travel and movies. I am a fairly social person who is neat, tidy and respectful of others. I am mainly interested in either joining an existing share-house or teaming up and establishing a new one. Please leave me a message if you would like to know more!
Greetings! So I’ve just finished a Bachelor of Software Engineering at UniSA and am looking to move out. I’ve been offered a PhD but have deferred it to the end of the year as I’m working on some of my own projects at the moment, as well as applying for the Royal Military College. I’ll be working casually at UniSA as a researcher and am financially secure. I’m a pretty non-dramatic person and will happily compromise and calmly discuss any issues to find solutions. I like to be hygienic and organised, but am not pedantic about it. I’m introspective but outgoing and hence conscientious of others; socially progressive but non-confrontational, so accepting of other viewpoints. I enjoy time alone to recharge, and understand when others need that too; always up for chats about interesting topics though! At heart I'm a geek who loves puzzles and over-analysing books and films, and I train in martial arts. While it’s always fun to meet new people, if you’re just looking for someone to split the rent with who won’t bother you, I can be that person. Short version: Looking for the perfect housemate? Choose dis guy! *Thumbs pointed at self* :)
very easy going social guy. Mature and responsible, yet young at heart. Always willing to help and accommodate where possible. I'm currently on a disability pension and spend a lot of my time at home. My interests include visual arts, photography, furniture restoration. I'm not bad with the tools and playing handyman. I enjoy gardening and don't mind taking that responsibility. I also love to cook and entertain.
Hey! I am a non smoker, no pets and single. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle and I am looking forward to getting my fitness back after being away overseas for a few years.Ideally I would be living with other non smokers, I find that smokers hang out with smokers and I hate the smell and the habit. Anyways.. I lived in SA once upon a time for most of my life but left for a FIFO job out of Perth about 6 years ago. In adelaide I worked as a dispense technician in pharmacy and used to have a secnd job most of the time in hospitality. Adelaide is still 'home' and I want to create a life here that makes me want to stick around. This is where you come in.. I want a good housemate that is mature enough to co-habitat as I am not looking for another parent and I want us both to feel free to live our lives. Of course its nice to live with someone that might notice if you went missing or made you some left over salad in the fridge but we dont need to be besties. I have lived with a couple people in the past, mainly guys and it's worked out well! I grew up with the sisters so I know all too well that too many women isn't always a great thing. I have never lived wit a couple and have only heard on here say that it isnt always the greatest experience but I would be open to it. Having worked away and lived in camps I have enough maturity to openly discuss any issues and would be open for you to do the same. I dont want to drive you insane with a simple habit Im unaware of that if I knew about I wouldnt have kept doing. I remember having someone that was particular about how the towel was left sitting after you dry your hands on it.. easy one to be mindful of :) same goes for me. I want to be able to say hey, when you put the bin bag next to the bin and not in it it drives me bonkers! My general habits. I drink on occasion, usually a couple wines with or without company :) I dont really go out drinking a whole lot as I feel those days are a little over and most of my Adelaide friendship groups are filled with professionals or people with children. I dont watch a lot of TV so I wont be up to date on your latest show but I can eargerly listen :) Im a people person, happy to chat and love a good DnM at the right time with the right people. I used to be quite into fitness and looking to get that relationship back into my life. I will be workng full time however i am currently not working (i arrived back in Australia directly before Christmas and just did a week in Darwin) I will be working soon. I tend to like working lots of hours at once and then having a few days off- should the industry and the south Australian job market allow for that. In summary I am an easy going girl who grew up in a rural suburb so i know how to mow a lawn and kill a spider, just dont ask me to kill anything with hands and fur cos I tend to stay away from meat. I am mindful of what I put in my body (except for the odd day where cadbury gets the better of me) and I can be practical. I am pretty upfront without being that rude person and I am looking for a home. If you have got to this point, Great! I think meeting the right housemate is just important if not more important than the space. I am looking for an area close to Semaphore, however I am not seasoned on what all the areas nearby are called. So if you contact me about a place five minutes away from Semaphore I may be unaware. If I am not in Semaphore I would like to be north of the city or Port Adelaide or somewhere with parklands or nature nearby. The places I have been looking include SEMAPHORE, LARGS BAY, PETERHEAD, BIRKENHEAD, GLANVILLE ETC Also I have stated 4 months and a move date- this is negotiable. This is basically becuase I dont know what I will be doing for work. I dont want to go jumping into a six month lease when I dont know what I am doing but in order to work out what I am doing I need to be stable enough that where I am living is not on the forefront of my mind. At the same time I dont want to set up shop for a month only to move again in four weeks.
I'm a Dutch / Australian med student heading to Adelaide for a research internship. This is my first time living in Australia, so I'm looking for a nice house with some fun house mates to socialize with and who can show me around! I'm from Amsterdam, and lived with and without roommates. So I like peace and quiet but also enjoy spending time together, having a few drinks and go on trips! I'm easy to live with :)
I'm 28, and working full-time. I have a small, old female dog that mostly just sleeps. She is very well behaved and i have had her in rental properties before with no problems. I'm quiet and friendly, love a good TV marathon & a glass of cheeky wine or two.
I'm 18 years old, working part time and about to start at university. I am easy going and friendly, and love people I can chat and connect with. I like my own space and downtime, but I also love to socialise and go out with friends sometimes. I'm clean and tidy, easy to negotiate with, and really respectful of other people's needs and quiet time. I'm looking for somewhere in mid January, with a minimum stay time no longer than 3-4 months (although there is a chance I will be looking to stay for a longer term after that if its offered). I love animals so pets are no issue. Places with majority female housemates is preferred.
Hey! My name is Madison Lynn and I will be studying at the University of Adelaide. I am coming from Canada and will be arriving on February 16th. Ideally, I am looking to live with students who are also enrolled at Adelaide Uni!! Some characteristics of mine include: - Clean - Easy going - Organized - Respectful - Fun!!
I am an easy going, clean, quiet housemate. I like my own space, but also love to socialise and get out and explore SA. I don't mind pets, and don't have a gender preference for housemates. I'm looking for a place available in mid-January :) Thanks!
I'm looking for a flat near my workplace in Payneham, don't need anything too fancy although wouldn't mind a double bed if one is going :) Just finished studying in the UK and I love travelling, although the mind is on saving at the moment so I wont be spontaneously jumping on a plane anytime soon. I dont mind light exercise, a bit of swimming, walking or horse riding but I can't say I'm a gym junkie (although props to you if you are). I love eating and drinking, tea or cider dependant on the situation and I'm a huge animal lover. Would love to be able to bring my dog with me but definitely not a prerequisite. Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi! My name is Chloe (or Cleo) and I'm a clean, respectful, and relatively quite roommate. I have a medium domestic lop eared rabbit named Buttercup (that's her in the pic!) She's adorable and is an OUTDOOR bunny, she's pretty happy in her hutch (which is secured and raised of the ground so she wont destroy your lawn) and she'll be your best friend if you give her sultanas!! I'm a friendly person and I like to have a laugh with my roommates, though I do also tend to lock myself away so I can study. I work for state gov and study Psychology full time (at this stage, I might go part time with study). I spend a lot of time with friends but don't tend to be the kind of person coming home at all hours of the night. I like to cook really simple but delicious meals. I love reinventing leftovers into something new and scrumptious!! 6 months would be my minimum stay at this stage :)
Hi there, We are loving considerate couple from Sydney. We are looking to make a new home in Adelaide. My name is Matthew White and I am 28 years old. I am currently an ADF member who requires accommodation until the 21 June 2017 prior to a move back home to Victoria. I am conscientious and always pay my bills on time. Please advise on the availability of furniture, WIFI and carspace. Looking in northern Adelaide close to Main North Road but will also consider options further out.
I'm looking to sharehouse in and around Prospect and Enfield. I'm hoping to share with two others to keep the costs down. I work part time and I'm looking for full time work as I recently graduated from uni. I am originally from the country, 23 years old, and keep my space very clean and tidy (I know everyone says that but I actually mean it!) For fun, I like to watch netflix and cycle. I'm the one in the middle in the photo. My move date is flexible Flick me a message if you're interested :)
Originally from the Western suburbs and am looking to get back to my roots. I'm easy to get along with and am very neat and tidy. I work as an Interior Designer and enjoy using my spare time to do something creative, checking out local markets, cooking/baking, going down the beach and spending time with my family and friends. Hoping to find a place where my housemate will eventually become my friends, but I also respect that people need their own space too.
Laid back guy looking to move closer to work. I like to keep things as light as possible, and am always in good spirits but I also appreciate and respect personal space. I can cook, and like to keep things neat and tidy. In my free time I generally watch movies, read comics and books and play video games. I work full-time as a Software Engineer and am always happy to help out.
I'm clean, responsible, fun and Scottish :) Moving to Adelaide in February 2017 (still in UK at present) for a new job at one of the universities. Hoping to find a flatshare for a few months, in an area close to brunch haunts and bars for weekend frequenting :) I'm looking to share with someone 25-40, friendly, who can have a giggle, is tidy and clean, and can maybe even help me get to know Adelaide! I'll have my partner moving out from Scotland in April 2017 so if he could stay for a few months too, then you're the perfect roomie! If you can cook I will pay in prosecco ;)

I moved here from New Zealand last year, and currently am looking for a place to move to in Adelaide or the surrounding suburbs. I am a respectful, quiet, clean, and easy-going person. I'm fun and easy going. Love good company and discussing any topic of interest. Love heritage architecture and architecture in general. Love bird watching, walking, cycling. Have a good sense of humour and genuinely like to be amongst people. Very well groomed and exceptionally tidy and house proud. In closing a definate asset to any household.
