I'm Anna, a Classics student from the UK and i'll be moving to Sydney for a year as an exchange student at Uni of Sydney. I am looking to live in a private room within a shared house, ideally with students or others of a similar age. I will be arriving in Australia on the 19th July and hope to move in asap once I arrive. Since it's going to be my first time in Australia, I'm keen to live with sociable, adventurous people who are happy to introduce me to some great spots around the city/country or come and discover some with me! I am a very clean and organised individual with a straightforward, no-drama attitude to life. I like skiing, climbing and ballet and relaxing with friends over good food and gin!
Hi everyone, what males me great to live with? ...Good question! I'm gonna say like everyone that: I'm nice, discret and tidy But I also: Love talking Herbalism, want to discover Sydney, love good beer and wine, love k=hicking and yoga, eat almost no meat, try the zero waste way of life... But the best is to speak with people directly,no? So don't hesitate to contact me if you have so questions
Hello! I’m a 24 year old Swede coming to Sydney for postgraduate studies at University of Sydney for one semester. For me it’s important to stay with social people I’m having a good time with rather than everyone minding their own business. I enjoy travelling, watching movies/series, reading, having a beer/glass of wine, working out, going to the beach. As a person I’m easy going, extrovert and tidy. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. Looking forward to hearing from you! Cheers William
Hi, my name is Fabian and I am an exchange postgraduate student at Macquarie University from July through November. Originally, I am from Munich but currently I am living in Vienna where I study finance at the University of Vienna. I would describe myself as quite uncomplicated, clean and easy to get along with. During my time in Sydney, I intend to spend most time studying and discovering Australia. Although, I keep to myself most of the time, I like going out for a beer (typical Bavarian 😉) or having a good time with friends. Preferably, I'd like to share a house/flat with other students. I'm coming to Sydney on the 19th of July and would like to move in ideally before the 26th of July. I am looking for a flat near Macquarie University or in an area that's not too far from campus or which has a good connection via train or bus to uni. It would be great If you are interested or have any questions, leave me a message! 😊
Hi. I'm a 50 year old professional woman looking to share with 1 or 2 others. I'm not a party animal and prefer to do my own thing. I live a balanced life, work part-time (a couple of hours late afternoon / night) and writer/student by day. I actively keep fit, love playing tennis and yoga and eat healthy.
Hey, my name is Kathi and I currently live in Karlsruhe, a city in the southwest of Germany. From end of July to the beginning of November, I will move to Sydney for a semester abroad at the UTS. Here in Germany, I study physics but at the UTS I will probably attend some economic lectures because I'm also interested in that. My hobbies are doing sports, especially beach volleyball and fitness, reading and solving sudokus. I already have made experiences with sharing a flat since I currently share a flat with two other students here and I enjoy it a lot since living alone is boring in my opinion. I also enjoy baking and cooking with others :) Hope to hear from you, Kathi
- A business student of USYD - Extrovert - Traveler - Chef in the making - Fitness enthusiast - Live a healthy lifestyle - Like my personal space but would love to get a beer or whiskey over the weekend and chill
Melbournian making the shift to Sydney for a new job. I lead an active lifestyle - I enjoy going to the gym and playing several sports. In my down time I enjoy reading, music and drinking with friends. I try to keep myself busy, but I am keen to share the occasional meal or drink with my future housemates.
Hi guys, I'm 30 years old professional who works full-time in Finance (in CBD). I have been living in Sydney for 5 years now. I would call myself very clean and tidy person (have a bit of OCD with cleanliness i think) and respect other's privacy. I prefer quiet and chill weekends to recharge my energy as i usually work long hours during the week, and I am definitely not a party person. However, don't mind to have a glass of wine and share daily news with my flatmate after a hard day's work. I don't like to cook, so you will rarely see me in the kitchen. In case if you need a reference, my current flatmate with whom I've been living since i came to Australia, I believe wouldn't mind to provide some feedback. The reason for me to leave the current place is due to our apartment being sold. What I am looking for: - 1 Flatmate who has a full-time job, tidy and nice. - My budget is $350 (incl bills). - Need own bathroom. - My place needs to be near the train station. - Will move in on 11th of August, 2018. If you have any questions, send me a message. Thank you!
Hi! We are a couple from Poland, who are looking for a flat with nice and friendly people like us :) We are easy going and we like neatness. We respect your privacy and expect the same from you. It would be great to live with people with who we can spend nice time, drink few drinks and talk during the weekends. We work full time. We prefer to live with a couple but it's not necessary. Cheers, Paul & Lena
Gday! My name is Kaush and I am 32 years old. Originally from Sri Lanka. I work full time in a marketing management role. So u will hardly see me on weekdays. I am a very simple guy and like to keep things clean and tidy all the time. During weekends I usually hit the gym or catching up with friends for drinks. I might also get lonely with a good read and hot cup of coffee 😊 I am a friendly guy and easy to get along. I love to meet new people and of course I respect others privacy and their own space. Cheers! Kaush
Hi there - currently looking for a long-term single room in a 2/3 bed apartment as my landlord will be moving out of the place in a couple months time. About me: I'm a consultant, work full time in one of the big chartered accounting firms in the CBD. I'm quiet (no crazy partying), clean and would like someone who respects their privacy but happy to share a meal/chat in the evenings sometimes.
Hi there! My name is Matthew and I am a Dutch student from Amsterdam. From the 6th of August I am going to do my internship at a PR, marketing and communications company in Redfern. I am looking for accommodation with friendly roommates until the end of the year, so for 5 months. I am a tidy and clean 23 year old guy who loves to socialize and talk about everything. My hobbies are traveling, hanging out with friends, football and cooking. My favorite dish is risotto with mushrooms, and I would love to make it for my coming roommates :) The reason that I am moving to Sydney is because of my study. I am free to go abroad and do an internship, and I have heard a lot of good stories about Sydney so I am really excited to go! Please feel free to contact me to see if we are a good match. Hi! Based on my previous experiences (lived for 6 years with either 1 or 2 roommates on 3 continents) I'd consider myself pretty clean, organised and like to have a beer or two with my flatmates. I'm more looking on a social apartment and not one where people don't speak to each other. Because I'll study at UTS I would prefer also students from there :) Oh, and another friend of mine (F, 25) will also start studying with me. She's amazing and so if there's room for two she might also rent a room. Basically I'm an easy going flatmate who wants a nice, furnished room and for that I offer a nice flatmate w/o making any troubles ;) Super open for having a Skype session or meeting in real life (I arrive in Sydney on the 20th). Hope to hear from you :)
I am a quiet, professional female in my 50's and am looking to rent a property in the upper North Shore (not Hornsby or Asquith). I have a full complement of furniture so am looking for an unfurnished place. Off street parking and a lease would be preferable.
Hi ! I'm a student coming to Sydney to discover new cultures and people. I'm open-minded, friendly and I want to share my hapiness with people. I'm tidy and cleany. I love cinema and drama and I'm studying foreign languages applied to business in France.
My partner and I are 22 and have been renting our own homes and subletting the other rooms out for the past 3 years in Armidale so we understand what it is like in share homes. We keep to ourselves and are very friendly/easy to get along. We both love to watch a movie here and there. We do have 2 cats and a dog, however the cats are perfectly trained and my dog just loves attention. She is a border collie so i walk her very regularly. I grew up in the northern beaches of Sydney before moving away 4 years ago to study Psychology. My partner, Sam grew up in Port Macquarie but also moved to Armidale to study Computer Science. His family have relocated to sydney and it is time we do to. I am a support worker and Sam does IT support. We are looking for a temporary home whilst we settle in and gather our finances to rent out our own place. However would stay long term at the right place.
I am graduate students so I will be working-part time and studying. I am easy-going to live with and am usually tidy, but I am fine with a little bit of mess. I enjoy outdoor activities, martial arts, video games, reading, music, and sense of humor. I like to cook my own meals, so I must have access to the kitchen. I have traveled all my life and lived among many cultures with respectfully and peacefully. I speak English, Bengali, French, and a little Spanish. I enjoy moments of laughter and joyful company, but I also understand the need for privacy and space. I live with an open mind, and would be thrilled to live among like-minded people. Looking for a room near Macquarie University, while being close to the city.
