Spanish mate with Work & Holiday Visa. Alcoholic nerd who work on IT & Design. Planning to get a job and have a "serious" kind of live, with timetables and stuff, but I don't know how to say no to a drink. Not keen on sports but love to hike and going outdoors. A lot of Netflix, too. Like drinking, movies, boardgames, 420 and several things... like a person, you know.
Hi, I'm looking to join an existing share house (rather than a flat) in Melbourne when I move over at the end of the year. I'm getting in early because why not? I'm a non-smoker, social drinker, conscientious, quiet, clean and tidy. I have no pets of my own, but will probably enjoy living with yours. I'm friendly, but prefer privacy and independence. I'm starting a marcom business and I'm into art/s, travel, photography, music, psychology, positivity, tantra, Quantum Physics... I don't have any pets, but will (very) happily live with yours.
P/S: Will listen to your sappy stories if (unfortunately) you get dumped or talk about how random life is til 4 am Hello! I'm JJ, 21. Currently a research student at Melbourne Uni and looking to move. I am a very outgoing person and love to socialize so am always up for a drink or two cause well, duh. During my free time I also love to hang out with some friends or do some activities together and am down for pretty much *anything*! Heck, throw me a bone I'll even play fetch with you (not literally but you get the idea). Oh Netflix can be fun too. I've lived abroad before when I was an exchange student in the US and have done a fair bit of backpacking alone so I've lived with many others from different backgrounds and cultures and would like to consider myself a pretty tolerant and respectful person. Also get along with people pretty easily. Respect all boundaries and stuff a sock in my mouth to shut me up if need be though I like to keep things less intense. Ideally I'm looking for people I can talk to and rant about how shitty my day went, not a breathing creature that moves in the house! Hit me up if you think I can be a good fit for your place and I'm sure we can get along fine!
Important details: Dates - From immediately (or as soon as possible) until the end of May Preferred budget for the two of us (i.e., not per person) - $250/week rent only or $320/week including bills and wifi A little more about us: We are a chilled out, clean, tidy, and respectful Australian-Chilean couple. We're pretty easy going, happy to keep to ourselves and respect your privacy and equally happy to be social and share a meal and/or a drink or two with you. I'm originally from Brisbane and Marcelo is from Santiago, Chile. We have been living and working in Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, and Port Macquarie over the past few years together and this will be our first time living in Melbourne. We both love to travel, rock climb, hike, dance salsa, and relax with good food and a nice wine. We are also interested in languages; I speak some German and am learning Spanish, and Marcelo speaks Spanish and Portuguese fluently. Marcelo is an engineer and will be working full time. He just started a short contract in the St Kilda area on April 19. I have not had a chance to find work in Melbourne yet, but when I am working, I work on public health projects or in the area of health promotion. (We don't know whether Marcelo's contract will be extended beyond May. This and the fact that I don't have work yet are the main reasons why we are looking for such a short lease and also why our budget is a little tight.)
Hi there! I'm a postgraduate student at Unimelb, and I'm looking for a private room, but I'm open to sharing a room with the right person. Looking for something that's close to public transport - this is pretty important to me. A furnished room is preferred, as I haven't got furniture with me. Move-in date is flexible. I do have to study a lot, so I'll need a quiet place because I'm one of those people who just can't study with noise :( but in my downtime I'd love to chat and have a laugh with my flatmates! I'm looking to make friends and not just to fill a room :) I'm a very positive and friendly person. I love a good laugh and enjoy dad jokes/puns/memes :P I keep my stuff (and the house) neat and clean. When I'm not studying I'm reading, or watching TV shows or movies. Huge cricket fan, and will watch and enjoy pretty much any sport :D I'm new to the city so I'd also like to explore the place but haven't really got round to it yet haha! I hope I've covered everything (these things are hard to write!). Please message me if there's anything you'd like to know :) Cheers, Ally
Note: I am currently not located in Melbourne and am searching for a place that will take me as soon as I arrive! I like to travel (as any millennial does). I have lived with many different people before from living with my parents to being in a shared room and massively over crowded house, either or, I know how to be respectful of other housemates. I'm independent and mature for my age. If you ever want to go for a morning coffee or bunch i'm your gal. I like to wander and get lost in the beauty of the town that I live. I'm a big big fan of animals, so if you have pets then bonus for me and you as I'm happy to treat them as my own with feeding and walks when you are unable to!
I like to know new people, i need to learn english. I`m easy going person, tidy and know how to cook.
Hi!! I have just moved from Sydney to Melbourne. I am an architect but at the moment I am working part time at a restaurant while I get organised here. I was living with flatmates in Sydney so I know all about paying rent on time, keeping the kitchen clean and taking weekly turns to maintain the flat in perfect conditions :) I moved here because I have a new niece and I want to be more in touch with the family so I would be spending a lot of time out with her, however I do enjoy getting home at nights to watch the latest reality shows and I am up for a beer during the weekend if that is your thing too! I am planing to go to Colombia in August and that is why I would need the room for only 3 months. Hope to hear from you!!!

Hey I'm Clóvis. I'm a 35 years old Brazilian guy relatively new to Australia, I've been here about 3 months now. I'm student and I work part-time in the city. I'm a relaxed and very social person and am looking to move in with people who don't mind having a chat and watching a movie or two, but are respectful that we all need our own downtime every now and then. I like to enjoy life, be it heading out for dinner or drinks, day trips to the beach, skateboarding or cooking.
Friendly, laid back, clean, tidy and considerate. Work long hours, gym a lot, play netball and out a bit socially. Love of cheese and wine, tea and cake, travel, reading and lounging in front of crappy TV. If you think you could put up with me let me know 😊

Looking to rent a house in the inner suburbs of Melbourne I am currently studying a full time degree in nutrition while working at the same time.. I enjoy keeping active with boxing, Pilates and yoga. I would say I'm down to earth, friendly and respectful. Ultimately I would like to share a house with people of the same nature. Who are easy to get along with. Msg me if you feel like I would suit.
Hey there, We are a couple from Germany / India, working both Monday's to Fridays as a Nanny / Chef and are looking for a new share house :) my partner smokes, but is OK with doing that outside. He plays the guitar, would be happy to find a place where it's possible, as it can get a bit noisy. We're not up for a party house, but don't mind having a chat and a drink from time to time. We're tidy and clean and responsible and pay our rent and bills on time. Any questions feel free to ask :)
Hello! I'm an expat of the forest covered hills in the Dandenong Ranges and have been happily living in the city for the last 6months. I wanted to stay longer but the council has an issue with our landlord so we had to move out immediately. I'm on a mission to find an alternative ASAP. I love live music, camping, gardening, cycling, photography and I spend most of my week nights catching up with friends, wandering through parks, seeing movies or listening to some of the awesome local roots music in a cosy back street bar. I'm a professional at the share house thing and have references but most importantly, I'm respectful, tidy, honest, I pay up on time & I generally get along with everyone because I'm very open minded and easy going having lived with many people over the years from a child. I have a full time 8:30-5:30pm Mon-Fri job as an Inventory Controller in Hawthorn. I'm queer though no one ever guesses & I love animals if you have any. I spend between 4-6months a year house / farm sitting for furry friends when their pet humans are away. If you want to know more, please feel free to contact me anytime. Thanks for reading and hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm an international student who wants to get the real taste of Melbourne. I am peace loving, non smoker, non drinker, pet friendly even though I don't have one. I need a furnished room with basic amenities, preferably included in the rent itself. I love exploring places.
