I work full time as an Engineering Operations Manager at an energy company. I'm looking to maintain a room in or near the CBD that I'd stay at on weekdays. Initially, I'd be looking to do this on a short-term basis, but if it works out better for my work life balance I'll be looking for something more long term. I don't smoke or throw parties. I'm easy going and happy to be flexible to meet others needs. Although I won't be around most weekends, I'm happy to chat in the evenings on weekdays. I'm also happy to share cooking equally if that fits in with your preferences.
Hi! I am a 28 y/o Swedish girl who just returned to Melbourne to study communication design at Billy blue college. Lived in Melbourne for a year before this when I was on my working holiday visa. That was my first experience of a shared home and I'd say I like the concept. I am a very outgoing and social person but I also value my own down time. When it comes to common areas I'm super clean, yet not OCD about anything. I'm looking for my own room/shared room in an apartment somewhere in the city or closest suburbs. I am currently waiting to move in to a place I've accepted so right now in only looking for short term stays. Move in date for my new place is on the 14:th of April. So I'm looking for accomodation between now and the 14:th of April. Unfortunately I'm a tad allergic to cats and dogs. Like I mentioned I'm a very social person so I like having people around me. I'll be studying full time and work, as an in home kitchen planner, on the weekends and some extra hours during the week. Have got a huge interest for home decoration, love music, cooking and running. On the weekend you'll find me spending time with friends and working ofcourse. /Hillevi Ps. I'm sure my former housemate is ok with answering any questions you might have about me as a housemate.

Hoping to be closer to the CBD but im happy to be further afield. I try to live a healthy lifestyle to support my health for various reasons, but have absolutely no issues with how anyone else chooses to live. saying that i am a smoker but would never smoke inside a home. I can mingle or am quite happy to be in my own company. ask me anything you'd like to know? Kind Regards David
My name is Fernando Nusynkier, I am from Argentina and I'm in Melbourne studying English this year. Is the room still available? I would be very interested to meet you and see the room. Hey! I'm Sophie, I'm looking for a home not just a place to crash. I've lived in share houses since I was 20 so I know the rules/respect/expectations of them. I'm your average run of the mil 29 year old human, love a beer, stan marathons, catching up with mates, appreciation of good food. I'm studying Nursing full time at Holmesglen - Moorabin as well as working casually. I'm passionate, social, love a good chat, I'll call a spade a spade, but also love some down time. I come as a package deal with my black pug bruno. His fat, sleeps a lot, snores, excitable and has a lot of love to give. I'm currently commuting from gippsland..please help! Hope to hear from some legends soon, Cheers!
My name is terri, I am 25, female and have a full time job and looking for a little place I can relax in, after a long day at work . I am a really tidy and respectful person who I loves photography and design, I also enjoy keeping fit, writing and scuba diving.
I'm being transferred for better work (I work for DHS, basically centrelink but without all the customers). I'll be here permanently however if you only need someone for a few months that would be great so I can settle in. I'm very clean and happy to help around the house and do my part. I have a solid income so paying rent will never be an issue. I like to read alot, play video games and workout at the gym mostly. I'll be happy to meet new people in this exciting and big (for Australia anyway) City!
Who wants to live with me? Looking for a shareroom / flat / squad / garden / anything to call home :) I've recently arrived in Melbourne and I noticed I really love it here. After living on the road, in a van and in a hammock for a while I decided I want to stick around and settle down instead of being some kind of homeless (which is really cheap tho, can definitely recommend it). No kiddin', it just feels like it's time to find a place to call home again and experience the daily life in Melbourne. At the moment I am working 2 days in the week but I'm planning to work as much as possible in the next few months. I'm a 28 year old guy from Amsterdam and I would describe myself as the 'just trying to be happy kinda guy'. After 8 years of working full time at the office as young professional in Telecommunications and IT, I decided to quit my job and start traveling the world. This because I realized my current life situation was simply not going to make me happy in the end. I'm a really chilled out and social guy. Stress and worries doesnt exist in my life, life is just perfect as it is. I love having a beer while talking and philosophize about life and the beautiful world we are living in. One of my biggest hobbies is socializing with people from all over the world. I'm reliable, friendly, respectful, open-minded, considerate and trustworthy. I'm a vegetarian and a smoker (but can smoke outside), I love beer & 420 and I am a music lover in general, I think genres doesnt really matter; when it's good, it's good! :) I also would love to learn how to play any instrument, so living with a musician would be totally awesome. Other things I love and appreciate: food & cooking, (extreme-) sports, nature/camping/hiking, sustainable living, coffee, movies, spirituallity and the smell of washing powder. Ideally I'm seeking for a chilled out, homely and cosy plase to call home in area's like Fitzroy, Carlton, Brunswick, Northcote, Richmond, Collingwood, St. Kilda, Windsor, South Yarra or surrounding area's. A garden with some fruits of vegetables would be amazing, cause I really want to improve my skills in growing my own food. BUT, I'm really flexible so if you have a room somewhere else, please let me know as well! At the moment I don't have a place to live so I would rather move in yesterday then tomorrow :) So if you have a place available don't hesitate to contact me so we can meet up for a chat and to get to know each other. Hope to hear something from you soon! Peace & blessings <3

Looking for a female ONLY 'happy house' with the following features: • Private room • Terrace or balcony required • Parking (for a scooter) • ONLY female housemates PLEASE --------------------------- About me: I'm a 26yo french girl who has been living in Melbourne for the past 4 years and do consider this place as home for a long term relationship - OMG I love so much this city!!! ♡ I'm a restaurant manager - which means I tend to be rarely at home during my working days but with the week-ends OFF I do make sure to use them wisely! I have never had any issues in a house sharing previously, I'd just love to be part of a female 'happy house' and being able (why not) to share a meal from times to times with a glass of wine or going out for a drink or more. I love socialising, meeting new people! If you're uptight, lazy and grumpy, you might not be the right fit. If you're positive, easy going and love for life - then I'm keen! Pretty chilled out Brit, looking for students/young professionals to live with during my semester studying at VU in Melbourne. A bit about me: I'm 21 and studying business/events management. I'm a sociable person, newly converted vegetarian (well… pescetarian. It’s a process, ok!), lover of walks, coriander and the occasional debate. I’ll be in Melbourne for 4-5 months so looking to squeeze every opportunity/ bit of fun out of my time. Looking forward to meeting some rite legends as housemates, who will hopefully become good friends (aw). I’m not needy (I swear!!). No but seriously, I do like my own space from time to time and expect to be somewhat busy with studying during the week so you don’t need to worry bout the ‘lonesome English girl’. Ideal living situation: Relaxed vibes, fairly tidy and respectful of each other’s space/property, not a mad party house, but equally not a silent lock-ourselves-in-our-bedrooms situation. A bonus would be great to find housemates who are up for having a laugh, going for drinks, cooking meals together, having deep discussions about life, luv & even politics (after a glass of vino or two). I'm now currently in Melbourne staying in a hostel, so available for rooms viewings pretty much whenever. Please get in contact if you think we would be a good match :)
We are an extremely friendly couple (plus one kitten) who are desperately looking for somewhere to live for the next month. We were supposed to be moving on to another place, but the plans fell through at the last minute and now we are looking at two options: living 2 hours away and losing our jobs while not being able to attend uni, or looking for another place in the city for the next month. Potential roommates are myself (Mia) and Hamish. I am a 22-year-old Politics student who works in Mexican fast food part-time (so I can always bring home some dope burritos and whatnot). Hamish is a 22-year-old Politics student who works in a bottle shop and does stand-up comedy the rest of the time. Our little kitten Muse (5 months) is low-key, quiet and mainly just sleeps all day, occasionally being playful. Please help us if you can! We're really nice people!
We are 3 British girls who are wanting to settle for a few months to work in Melbourne. We are all clean, tidy and respectful and looking for a nice place to stay within budget. We all met in Australia, we all like to eat out, shop and keep fit. x
My name is Katie McGall I am 27 years old and Am a full time working professional. I am into keeping fit at the gym but also love to have to odd glass of wine sometimes a bottle. I like a clean home so am very conscious of cleaning up after myself and general cleaning duties. I don't really like late nights on weekdays due to work but do like to socialize and again respect when private time is needed as I like my own space every now and then. I am looking for something central but don't mind if its a bit further out as long as its near a train line or tram line.
FUN - INTERESTING - FRIENDLY NEED A PLACE-TO-CALL-HOME I come from Queensland, where there are super golden beaches to enjoy. Now I have moved to Melbourne to look for work ( I have graduated from a Masters in Marketing), I know that part of pleasure has gone but with the right people to live with, I will have better chances of making my life alright! hehe How would you like to live with someone fun, intelligent and thoughtful? Sharing conversations in various topics? I am very intellectually curious so I usually wouldn't refuse to listen to any stories from history, politics, science or to economies! Don't take it as I am a nerd! I like to chill and have a coffee or a beer with cigarettes when friends come over too! Being artistic, I love to discover the funky artistic parts like Fitzroy! More importantly I am a good cook, and when I get the time I am happy to cook for my friends and guests. It is very important for me to befriend, trust and enjoy living with the people who I am sharing the house with. So if you feel resonated with this message please contact me. Hope to hear from you the soonest! Dani

Hi there, I'm a recent architectural graduate working for an architect's office in South Melbourne. Now I stay with my brother and his family in Mill Park, which is about 1hr 30min journey one way to work. I can't do this travelling to work every day as its turning me off like anything. And also I finish late most of the days at work. I am a very calm person who likes to relax on my couch after work, watching a TV show with a glass of wine and some food. I'm a very easy-going fellow who adapts with any tight situations which you think is impossible. I am a typical Indian fellow when it comes to loving the game of cricket. And I do a fair amount of social-cricketing during weekends. I am that person who laughs, dance, drinks, and flips out with you during that special days. Also I can cook some special Biriyani's if you would love to try some. That's a snippet. And see you soon...

I love sports (rugby, cricket, basketball etc) and play a bit of cricket and basketball when possible. I do a bit of gaming on ps4, but don't spend countless hours on it! I enjoy a beer or six every now and then, and always like exploring new places. I am also into learning about the world around me, as I think it is important in today's day and age to have an open mind!

I'm a 32 year old professional who works in Property Development in Hawksburn. I am in the process of going through a divorce and waiting for my settlement to go through so I can buy my own apartment. But in the interim I am looking for short term accommodation. I am super clean and tidy and can cook.
Hello there, I have moved to Melbourne (from NZ.. a Kiwi) end of Jan 2017 and would love a clean and tidy apartment to share. I am very house proud... but not uptight. Must have my own bathroom and built in wardrobes. I intend to embrace all that your wonderful city has to offer... Restaurants, dining in docklands, Southbank etc., and catch-ups with my daughters whom both live and work in Melbourne. I am very fit and active and would very much like to 'settle in' to a living arrangement that is easy. Areas I'd like to live in would be inner-city suburbs close to both train and tram. I'm keen on Docklands. If you had a pet.... thats no problem ... a bonus actually! I would very much enjoy amenities like pool and outdoor space. I have no police convictions and am a professional in the logistics industry. I look forward to hearing from you if you'd like me to share your home with you, occupy and rent your home while you travel .. look after your pet even! or if you have a single apartment available. Many thanks for reading this Regards Katie Jones
Hey I'm Anna, I am a hard working student and a full time worker in the Melbourne CBD. Over the past couple of years i have been living in Melbourne and working as well as going backpacking, which i do avidly, so there are going to be times when I'm not in and my housemate will have full reign of the apartment. I will need a housemate who is able to move in relatively quickly as i just returned from backpacking in Tasmania and my previous lease has expired so Im currently couchsurfing until I find a more permanent home. If I sound like your kind of person i'll be around the city from thursday onwards so i would love to grab coffee and get organized. Look forward to meeting you!!

Hey! I plan to move to the Melbourne-area in June or July of this year! I'm 23 years old (but will be 24 by the time I move) and am from Indiana in the USA. I'm a college/university graduate and have a degree in Travel & Tourism. I LOVE to travel and do it often, love doing anything outdoors, working out, cooking (generally very healthy, minus all the sweets ugh), eating, crafting, having movie nights with my favorite people, and a good night out (although I honestly don't go out too often). I'm decently goofy, spontaneous, and really just a happy person. I'd like to think pretty low maintenance and easy to live with. I lived with 4 girls all throughout college and we only grew closer through the years, so that's good news I guess! I had thought about just getting a room in a shared house, but I liked the thought of getting a new place and really making it my/our own. I'm generally pretty frugal, so I definitely don't want to pay more than $200 a week. Lower would be SWEET. Close to public transport is a must, considering I won't have a car. I've only been to the Melbourne CBD and nearby St. Kilda, but loved the feel of St. Kilda (mid-20s crowd, unique,"hip,") Feel free to message me if you think we'd be a good match! AH I'm excited!
We are Laurene and Coby, and we're a couple looking for a share house to call home! Coby is moving from Perth, and Laurene is a long-time Melbourne resident. Laurene works full time in South Melbourne, in Public Relations, and Coby is a train driver in Perth and will be looking for some work in Melbourne in during early March. Coby loves going to the movies, watching sport - mostly AFL, and loves going to live music. Laurene is a theatre lover (watching and participating, occasionally!) and has been really enjoying the new women's AFL league. We are looking for a chill house where we can enjoy coming home to cook and have a wine, and relax after work, with some friendly housemates.
Hello there, We are 2 friendly and calm Mexicans brothers ready to start our academic english classes. As we are planning to stay in Melbourne for a while we would like to have a good and comfortable stay. Me: male,20 years old, calm, friendly, fan of calisthenics, music ,nature, nutrition... Diego: male,19 years old, very calm, fan of animals, nature, jokes... Regards, Patricio Martinez
I'm new in the city, from Chile. I'm friendly, tidy and respectful of common spaces. I like to cooking and I have no problem to share time with the flatmate to have some dinner, ser a film or just have a conversation.
Hello Friend :) You are reading about myself (Clint), Nalu my girlfriend (from Belgium)and Alastair who is a fellow kiwi. A bit about us: We all suffer FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out) hence we embrace the Melbourne life style and all the sweet activities that come along with it! We are also know to do the odd camping trip out of the city when we are in need of a break from the hustle n bussel of just a day trip to surf outside the bay. I have lived in Aus on and off for 6 years now when not traveling, Nalu has just arrived for her 2 year working holiday visa and Alastair has lived in Melbourne now for 3 years. We are looking for crew who have interesting stories, like to chill week days and have a BBQ n couple in the weekends and maybe a dress up party for your birthday if your into it ;). Our ideal flatties would be social, however hectic after parties are not something I we are interested in having at our house. We could cook together or not depending on time tables but I always like to try have a flat dinner once a week. We are all clean and tidy but not over the top I feel a house should feel lived in not like a hospital. Reasonable is the word here, OCD humans perhaps wont work. So if your "like" us and feel we could gel get in touch :) The nitty gritty: - Would expect rent divided evenly by person not room but up for discussion - Nalu will be leaving at some point to do her rural work for 3 months and extend her visa and will not be able to pay rent during this time so any option would have to allow for this when looking at max per person rent. - Not so keen for apartments
