Hello! So, I've just moved to Melbourne (in the last week or so!) I'm 27 and come from Oxford (UK), I've been travelling for 6 months but now have settled in Melbourne - I've just started my new job I'm here long term (I'm going to be working as an Account Manager for Uber Eats, so you may even get some free food!). I've lived in sharehouses in both Nottingham (uni) and London, so I'm used to respecting other people's space and keeping a property clean and tidy. I'm also social, enjoy a chat and a lot of laughs, and am generally pretty easy going. I'm also a nice bloke, which always helps! I enjoy going out, but as I'm working full time I'll likely be taking it easy in the week (apart of the from odd Thursday night!). As I'm new here, it would be great to live with people I get on with and can chill with in the evenings. Would be great to hear from you. All the best! Tom.
Moving to Melbourne from London, UK. Hi, I'll dive right into the important stuff - as a housemate I am: *Very clean and tidy, I like to live in a nice environment. I would expect the same from you. *Looking for a home not a party pit stop but happy to host occasional gatherings/hang outs. *I work regular office hours. *Respectful of privacy, personal space and alone time. *I'm a caring housemate, sociable and friendly, I would genuinely like to live with someone I could be friends with or at the very least someone who doesn't mind sharing the occasional meal, drinks in/out, the odd summer bbq, etc. *Typical Brit with a witty/dry/sarcastic sense of humour. I want a happy easy life, love to laugh and enjoy a bit of banter. *Love unplanned adventures. I aspire to be more outdoorsy, so a flatmate who will encourage that lifestyle would be great. I am totally new to Australia so have a lot to discover and enjoy. General interests would include books, games, sci-fi/fantasy, art, fashion, wine, whisky, politics, travel, hiking, safari's, getting caught up in the atmosphere of any major sporting event, brunch, cooking sometimes, alone time, the list goes on.
Hey, I'm Pierre from Germany. There I used to be an actor and musical singer but now took a time off to travel. I'm part of a work and travel program and just arrived in Melbourne at beginning of April and will be staying til 12th of August. I want to get to know more local people and learn more about the country and culture and hope to find some new friends! I love music, nice conversations and sports and love dancing.

Building Engineer, Masters Student at University of Melbourne, 27 years old from Egypt, been in Melbourne for 15 months. An awesome housemate, sociable, reliable, have good sense of humor (from what others say), extremely clean, emotionally intelligent (understand when someone needs to be alone), have my own artistic ways when it comes to cooking. Looking for similar flatmates, who are trustworthy that can become life long friends even after separation. Pm me for more info if interested!
responsible, sociable, and tidy. Like to cook but not shy on the dishes, and I have a bit of a green thumb so at the very least will maintain fresh herbs for cooking. Originally from NZ, I work in hospitality as a restaurant manager. Always up for a chat and in my free time if I'm not catching up with friends I like to read, watch Netflix, and maybe have a go at the cryptic. looking for a relaxed and respectful living environment with good people.
Hi everyone, my name is Lauren and I recently moved to Melbourne from the US to work and study at Melbourne Uni. My dog Sophie will be joining me in August. She is a friendly and well-behaved black poodle mix.
Let me introduce myself, Ivo Bruijnaers, from the Netherlands and 26 years young. I graduated my bachelor course of Facility management a year ago and decided to travel. Now my budget runs low I would like to settle for 6 months in Melbourne to earn my money back. But most important to be social and make new friends along the way. What can you expect from me? I am a open-minded, social and clean person whom has respect for others persons space, cultures and habits. Furthermore, I have a passion for food and am able to prepare delicious dishes. Love to play board/card games and social events; gigs, random nights out, sports etc. I will be up for nearly everything as I would like to experience it all. Kind regards, Ivo
Clean and organised, work full time so will only be around at nights and will spend most my weekends probably with the boys so wont be in your hair too much. Also a pretty good bloke dont mind a few beers and the footy. Can pay bond money and the first few weeks rent forward too if that helps. Thanks :) Have been living with two girls in Windsor but am looking to move on to a new place because lease is up.

Hi, I'm Liam, a 34 year old PhD student from Melbourne. I've recently finished an undergraduate bachelor course and secured a full government scholarship and stable (part-time) work, and am looking for a place to live in Melbourne's inner to middle north. My research is focused on changes to social housing policy since the 1970s. Being a mature aged research student I'm pretty quite and my studies are more like a 9-5 job. I generally keep to myself and keep busy, but would also like to socialise sometimes (eg, drink, chat and dinner with my housemates). In my spare time (when not researching) I like to hang with friends, watch the occasional footy match (but I'm not totally sports mad), and explore bits of Melbourne I don't yet know. I'm neat and tidy and would like to live in a nice environment, which means I will do my share of the housekeeping to keep the house looking nice. Liam. P.S. I've said I'm looking for six months, but that is a min, not max.
Hey, I'm Michael, 22. Here's a little about myself. I'm Easy going, neat, happy to hang out or do my own thing, and do my part to keep the place in good nick. I'm a student studying marketing, and I work part time, mostly go out to see friends, but might want to have some over every now and then. Got all my own furniture, can supply couches if wanted or keep them somewhere else. Lived out of home for a couple years now. Never have a problem paying my share. I'm cool with any kind of person, as long as they are respectful. Looking for a house with people that are chill to hang with and that allow private time. Fine with parties, but not all the time. Thanks, hope to hear from you soon
I'm a well trained house person who always cleans up after himself. I pay my bills on time, respect the privacy of others and am more than up for a bit of fun or socializing. I've a part time job on weekends away from the city. I'll usually be staying in Melbourne 4 nights a week (Monday-Thursday) for the sake of my studies. Quite keen on an inner city suburb that's close to the Central Business District of Melbourne (within 10 kilometres). When it comes to internet and bills... to include those in the rent would be my preference.
I'm easy to live with and house proud. I am happy doing my own thing but also love to socialise and meet new people. I'm a Tassie girl studying full time and working on the weekends. Looking for a new place to call home.
Hey We are a couple from the UK. We are 25 and 26 years old. We are into Music and Art and enjoy socialising with a wine, but also like a quiet night in relaxing! We are pretty laid back and get on with most people. We are also vegetarian so other veggies would be ideal but also don't mind living with non-veggies!
Hi all! Martin and I are currently studying our masters in Munich, Germany. He is an aerospace engineer and I study marketing. We want to write our theses in Melbourne from November to April. We are very laid back and will be mostly focused on writing our thesis, working a bit, and making the most of living in Melbourne! We enjoy meeting new people, cooking, working out, and going to the beach :)
