I'm a pretty chilled guy, always happy to socialise but appreciate my own space too! I'm 26, half English, half Maltese having spent most of my time living in the north of England but most recently living in London. Just arrived back in Melbourne on my 2nd year visa having been here 5 years ago! I work in the lighting industry as a Business Development Manager and will be working from home sometimes. I'm very much into football (soccer), I'm a huge fan of Burnley FC and currently play for Elwood City SC. I'm also big into my music, love going to gigs and used to sing in a band and write my own songs previously!
I am a recent college graduate from California, United States traveling the world. I'm extremely outgoing, respectful, and am always up for anything. I am clean and extremely easy to be around. I am arriving to Melbourne to look for places to live and find a job as well with my work and holiday visa. For fun I like to go to the gym, play sports, read, explore, and do pretty much anything outdoors. Of course it's always fun to go to a local pub as well! I can't wait to come to Australia and live in a place so that I can really experience life in a different country. Looking forward to being your new flatmate!
I’m an American from Oregon who is here on working holiday looking for 6 month contract jobs in Melbourne. I enjoy most things outdoors and almost all kinds of sports. Generally pretty clean and responsible with getting things paid on time. I love meeting new people and an occasional night out or mid week happy hour, but a night in is also great. Based off of my previous living experiences, I’d prefer to live with girls, but am not opposed to a mix or all boys. Looking to make the most of my time in Melbourne, shoot me a message if you are interested in talking more!
Full time youth worker, stable and down to earth, with a bit of a sarcastic side. Enjoys wine and Netflix on weeknights; more wine and gigs / films / day trips / brunches / the occasional dance on weekends. Looking for likeminded housemates who love a good chat and communal meal, but also respect personal space. INFP. LGBTQI+ friendly is a must. Bond and rent are ready to go, I can move any time between now and April 13th.
I’m from Brazil and I study and work at the same time. I work full time during the week in a coffee shop. Have experience in living in a share house so I know how to live with people, respecting their privacy. I also like to have a chat with my housemates around a meal, I love cooking, or a drink. I'm also into music, movies, art, travel...anything creative and inspiring. I'm looking for a place where I can feel at home with friendly housemates. I'm a nice and friendly person, easy going and adaptable, I respect the environment where I live in and the people who live with me. Please contact me if you're interested, I'll be happy to answer your questions. Thank you🙂
Hi I'm Clare, I'm looking for a place to stay-long term. I work full time at a telecommunications company (sorry i cant help you with your internet :P) I'm pretty easy going, I'm clean, always up for a chat. I was hoping to find a place where the room is not furnished as I have a bed/furniture already. Also, I was hoping utilities are included in the rent and that I can have off street parking. its a long stretch but I would like to be picky in where I would like to stay.
I'm a fun, easy going person who enjoys chilling with a good book as much as chatting over a good drink. I'm originally from Brisbane and have been living in Melbourne for 3 years. I love Harry Potter and Lady Gaga and when I'm not working in retail I'm trying my hand at radio and improvised comedy.

Hey potentional house mates! Here's a little about me - I work late nights at the moment, am always quiet when I come back in! I am totally respectful of your space and am in tune with how people feel, although I do want to feel like I'm living in my home too and not just staying in somebody elses if you know what I mean, although in saying that I am always extra careful with other peoples things around the house. :-) I am social, love to sit outside, listen to music and chill, maybe have a drink here and there. I have friends over sometimes but never throw parties so dont stress about that, I like my home to be my sanctuary also. If you like incense that's a plus :-) I've never been late for rent or bills, always up to date. I don't really know what to write about myself without looking like a tool, so if you have any questions feel free to ask, and send me a message telling me about yourself/ves too! xx
Hi Flatmates, my name is Slaven and I am here from Germany to write my bachelor thesis for a big german company which has some great projects here in Melbourne (for example the future metro System in Melbourne). I am studying Mechatronics and Precision engineering in Munich and I am fulltime writing on the thesis. I need to find a place for until the end of June. I am a very clean, tidy, social and respectful person! 😀 I am ready to work hard to keep the household nice & clean and to hold the atmosphere in the shareflat/sharehouse on a good level. If you have further question please send me a message or call me👍 My office is located in Derrimut and I am searching for somewhere near/around the center (Footscray, Brunswick, Richmond, St. Kilda, etc.).. Would be happy to get a message from you! 😀 Slaven
Hi there potential new housemates! I have recently returned from an incredible exchange semester in Hong Kong and am on the hunt for a new place to call home. A bit about me... I’m in the final year of my Bachelor of Fashion at RMIT. In my spare time, I volunteer at a super funky op-shop in Collingwood, lending my ‘farshun’ skills to those in need. Plus, I like to do my part to make my industry more sustainable; recycled fashion is love. I enjoy baking and getting my hands dirty in the garden. I’m always looking for easy little ways to be more environmentally conscious around the house and would like to live with like minded people. My other interests include music (love a good music festival), gardening, baking, eating my baking, linguists and tea drinking. Side note: I don’t have any pets but do like pets. I have a soft spot for cats especially. If you have a pet, I will treat your fur-baby like it’s my own! 💕
Hey there, Jonathan here. I'm from the US and just moved to Melbourne after living in Perth for 7 months. I will work full time and I don't make a lot of noise. You don't have to worry about me leaving a mess around either. I'd prefer to live near the ocean if at all possible. Also, I would need a private room. I'm all about socializing but I like my privacy. Anyway, please let me know if you have anything available, or if you'd like to get together to get a house.
Hi, We are a couple in our early thirties from the UK who are currently living in Sydney. I am a Drama teacher and Will works in advertising. We are moving to Melbourne for Wills job and are mega excited (I have always wanted to live there...) We left the UK to backpack around India, Nepal and South East Asia. We like living with people and happy to have chats and a glass of wine or beer over dinner. We like cooking and sharing meals with housemates. I am vegetarian, we are plastic free and have been for 2 months and hope to continue to do this. We enjoy walking, camping, festivals,a night out dancing, reading, theatre.... I swim a lot and try and do yoga three times a week. We are both cyclists and would commute to work as well as cycle everywhere else. We are in Australia to travel but also to work as young professionals. Will has a permanent one year contract so we would at least be here for a year. At some point this year we are thinking of buying a van and doing some travelling We have lived in a pretty big house in Sydney with an ensuite and lovely housemates. We are looking for a similar set up in Melbourne. People to go to the pub with or a weekend trip or to share stories.
I’m hygienic. If I have too much spare time I’ll clean everything. I’m a good cook and would love to shop more often at the farmers markets to get my produce. I can make great coffee and I don’t do well at life without it. I love my alone time but enjoy talking about the interesting things in my day. I have a partner atm so he would visit but rarely. I don’t have any animals with me but I adore all and any!❤️ My mum raised me with manners so I go alright. I don’t really go out but I do enjoy it. I’ve grown up in a country town in the Macedon ranges. I’ve loved it but it’s time for a change for me. Thx heaps
I’m easy going, clean and reliable. I’m currently making the move from Sydney to Melbourne for my new job. I would like to find a house that is sociable and an environment where we can catch up over a drink but nothing crazy. I have a full time job in the insurance industry and I spend my weekends catching up with friends or going to the football. I’m looking to move into a place at the end March but this is flexable. Cheers
I’m an actress, I enjoy drawing aswell and am wanting to get into music more. Ive been living in Melbourne for 3 years so working two retail jobs at Highpoint to pay the bills lel. I’m very chill, laid back and social, very difficult to annoy or offend and am concious if others (ie turning music in my room down if people are trying to sleep or concentrate, easy to work around others showering times etc.) I live with two close friends who are moving in with their bfs when our lease ends in late June (lame) so I’m not looking to move to much before then. I lived with a big group of my classmates at uni and would love to have this sort of arrangement again definitely want to live with more than one other person I don’t like a quiet house. I clean up after myself ASAP in communal spaces and make great jokes, you’re welcome. I usually work 5-6 days a week between two casual jobs so am not around much during the day but lately sometimes I’ve enjoyed spending my day(s) off, chilling in the sun and day drinking, housemates are more than welcome to join. (Ps) anyone with a dog gets extra points 😍🐶

I really look foward to hearing from you!!!
Hey, I’ve just moved from London to Melbourne, arrived on the 18th of March and have three weeks in an Airbnb before I’m homeless! I'm 27, which sounds scary now it's down on paper. I'm a secondary school English teacher and have just been granted a permanent residency. I decided to move in March to coincide with Term Two, so I should begin working within a few weeks of arriving. I plan to do relief work while I get settled and then move on to a more permanent role. I'm clean, tidy, responsible, dependable, try to do one nice thing a day. (Well, one random act of kindness a day, but hopefully more than one nice thing in total!) Aside from my job, which I love, I’m really sporty - a huge football (soccer to you guys?) fan and keen for someone to teach me all about AFL. I love being active, outside, exploring, generally being busy. Not shy of an evening on the sofa or a good competitive board game, after a long day either though. As I’ll know absolutely nobody when I first arrive I'd be grateful for some friendly housemates, who might be able to introduce me to Melbourne and help me get to know some people, just settle in really. So, looking for friends to live in a home with, not simply looking to occupy a spare room. Hope to hear from you, (and meet you!) soon.
Hi my name is Steve I am a Primary School Teacher and a Musician looking to move to the Northern Suburbs area. I am friendly easy going and have lived in share houses before I respect space and privacy as well as happy to socialise.
My boyfriend and I are looking for a new rental as our current lease is coming to an end. Ideally we would love to live in st kilda near acland street as we have always lived nearby but are open to places further out! I work as a nurse and do shift work & Jack works mon-fri in construction. We both love keeping busy in our spare time, checking out whats on in the area or cbd whilst also going gym & taking our bikes for a cycle in the nice weather! Dont be fooled, we do like our down time too and enjoy drinks with friends some weekends. We are an easy-going pair & would consider ourselves friendly and respectful of others. If you have a double room available near enough to what we are looking for, we would love to hear from you. Cheers :)
