Hey mates Marion's here! Frenchy working full time as a barista in Fitzroy (yaaay free coffee) and obviously looking for a room. I've got a Working Holiday Visa and I arrived in Melbourne in February after a trip in New Caledonia, and Amsterdam just before where I stayed a year. I travelled the East cost already until Cairns and I just think Melbourne is the best. I like it there and I’m done staying at the hostel. Love the vibes but I would love some privacy and comfort. I hope I'll finally be able to settle for my last months in a home sweet home, with friendly roomies! I'm very clean and tidy, I will also like spend time with you guys after a day of work, chilling, chatting and having fun with some wine, games, movies or crazy nights out! But I still like having some time for myself in a cosy and comfy bedroom. I'm up for viewing and meeting at every moment, can't wait to meet you :)
Hi, I'm Tenisha and I'm looking for a room on the outer suburbs of Melbourne :). I'm 21 and I just finished my Bachelor of music and I have a part time job. I've never had a problem paying rent or bills and I've never paid them late. I do have a 1 year old cat, she's a complete sweetheart but she's really shy. (If I move, Ginny has to move as well, she's like my lungs and I can't live without her 😂) I play my guitar from time to time, enjoy going out with my friends but I'm not a party animal. I enjoy going to the pub for a drink and a meal and socialising with my house mates but do enjoy some alone time as well. If you think I'm the right housemate for you, please don't hesitate to send me a message :)
I’m moving to Melbourne to study pastry so can make you cool cakes and shit. Currently living in cairns but moving to Melbourne in September. Already organising to get 2 rabbits when I move so need somewhere pet friendly. I’m a neat freak so will always clean up after myself.
Hello! I am a Swedish exchange student, I am tidy and kind. I am going to study architecture at Swinburne University. I have a passion for painting and writing books. I am studying my fourth year now at Konstfack university of crafts and design, and by the time I have my degree I will have a teacher licence as well. I can teach arts and design at secondary school and upper secondary school. I have worked as a teacher within my education, and part time, I have also been working as a guide at castles and museums in Sweden. I like to play violin, but I will not bring one to Australia. I am used to sharing apartment from my time working in Iceland with Icelandic horses, I am flexible and easy to talk to!
Hey! I am a french-chilean graduating hospitality student doing my final internship in Melbourne. I am really into the outdoors and go on hikes and to he beach as much as possible. Traveling and meeting new people from all corners of the world is my passion.
We're a young couple coming form Italy, friendly, easy going, open minded and we love to meet new people. We are clean and tidy and always polite to everyone. We are moving to Melbourne hoping to live a nice experience, learn as much as we can from the Country and the peolpe.
Hi, I am a new student from Pakistan and starting my Masters in Electrical Engineering at University of Melbourne next week. I am looking for a place to stay during my semester here in Melbourne preferably close to the city for easy commute. I like my privacy and prefer my living space clean and tidy. I also cook 3-4 times a week, so if the place has microwave, oven, stove it would really help. I am friendly and would like a cozy place to call home and friendly roommates to consider family. I am looking to lease it till the end of November and extend it hopefully unless I have travel plans. Cheers, Faraz
Hi! I'm Emma and looking for a place preferably in the inner suburbs, close to work and training. I'm currently working part time at woolies (yes can get you that sweet 5% team member discount ;)) and do acrobatics (gymnastics) 4 times a week, so I'm pretty busy and between the two don't have much free time. I'm pretty chill, clean and enjoy some nice banter once you get to know me
Hey there pals! I'm looking for a private room to move into in late before September 10. I love the Moonee Valley area and would preferably like to stay put around here or somewhere nearby. I just left studies in creative writing at La Trobe and am working as an administrative assistant and developing my own business selling prints of my art. I spend a good deal of my spare time at home in my own space, painting and drawing. Because of that, I might be wrongly perceived as reclusive to some but I always love having a good chat and am always up for doing things as a house. It'd be great to find a place with roomies who are likeminded and also enjoy that sense of company and actually being friends with who they live with. I also love yoga, learning guitar, I'm a tattoo addict and Seinfeld is my go-to show. I appreciate a clean house and am very respectful and I always have money for rent and bills in time. Message me if this sounds like I'd be right for your place :)
We are a group of friends from Ireland and Holland. After living in Melbourne last year we have just returned from farm work, so now we're very excited to start our second year! We all work in various jobs Monday to Friday. During the weekends we love to go out for dinner, go to gigs and enjoy drinks in town. Although staying home with friends is something we do like.
Im Marrisah, I’m 29, and moving to Melbourne is my next big adventure. I’ve been living in share houses for the last 12 years so I’m house trained and know how to respect your space. I’m looking for a relatively social house but definitely enjoy my solo time as well. I love music, art, snowboarding, skating, exploring markets or vintage stores and eating new food (I am so excited for Melbourne food experiences). I enjoy heading to gigs or checking out beer gardens/roof top bars. Also looking for a home is my adorable mini lop rabbit, Howi. He lives inside in an enclosure and comes out to cuddle when I’m home. He’s litter trained and super chill. He’s my baby and we’re a package deal so I need a place that’s ok with that. I'm a huge animal person so if you've got animals - even better! I'm not overly fussed who I live with, I can get along with most people. I'd prefer a similar age to myself so 25 - 35 year olds. LGBTGQIA friendly. 420 friendly. Looking to move in the first week of August as I start work on the 13th. I have transferred with my current job so I’m in secure full time employment. I’m prepared to sign a lease and to pay bond and rent in advance. Looking for a long term stay. I’m really looking for somewhere to call home.
Hi, I'm Theresa and I'll be moving from Canberra to Melbourne for work. I'm looking for a private room preferably in or close to the city. I work in the Public Service and I have been living in shared accommodation for more than five years. I am a clean and respectful housemate and would like to find a place with sociable housemates who are up for a chat and the occasional meal/drink together. Shoot me a message if you think I might be a good fit!
We are a friendly couple from argentina, responsable, clean and fun. We been living for more than one year in new zealand doing different jobs and living with other couples on the same house. Now we are going to study part-time while we are working, so we are not going to pass much time at the house, we like more the open air and outside sport such as climbing ciclyng and swiming. we love to share moments with friends specially cooking :D Tati is a great cook!!
To whom it may concern, Property Manager, Landlord, My name is Tom, I am 24 years of age and Australian. Seasoned flatsharer that makes epic brownies and lemon drizzle cake, exceptionally clean and sadly, actually enjoys cleaning - tidy house, tidy mind and all that jazz. I like songs with words, dogs over cats, lifting heavy things in the gym, travelling, mindlessly scrolling, bingeing on TV/Netflix as required and generally being chilled and happy. Looking to make new friends as I move to Melbourne to share dinners, maybe a few cocktails, a home and some baked treats! I'm not available to move in until 2nd week of August but will be in Melbourne for a few weeks before so we can meet up to check our music and cake tastes don't clash too heavily! I am one of those "working holiday" types so that's why at the moment, I'd love to commit to more than 3 months but that's the window and budget I've given myself to find a job! Hopefully I'll be able to stay for longer.
Hi there! My name is Eleonore (22) and I am currently looking . I'm a french engineering students coming to the University of Melbourne for the year to come. I would like to share a home with other internationals (particularly students) to enjoy my stay here. I'm really tidy, chill and I like both parties and quiet evenings! I enjoy to cook sometimes and It would be a pleasure to share meals with the other housemates! If you want more information please don't hesitate to contact me! Eléonore
As when writing a personal letter, I thought it would be a good idea to write what I would add to an accommodation. I am often that kind of person my friends would call when they need someone to tag along to some new experience. I actually like to cook food so I often fix dinner for friends and family, you can expect the same! I always like to have it clean around myself for my own sake and with respect to others. I will study a few units here in Melbourne and I like to get to know new people so trough me you will also get the chance to meet a lot of other people!
Hi, I'm Brittnee (blonde on the left) I'm looking for a place to live in St Kilda, St Kilda East, Windsor or Prahran. I'm 23 and work full time (at a call centre rip me lol) while I look for work in my field (media/production). In my spare time I'm generally off doing some creative project (theatre and music, mostly), at yoga, out with friends, playing guitar/singing or having a good netflix binge. I'll probably be at the beach a lot too once the weather defrosts. I'm always down for wine (Riesling and Rose are my faves) and a chill night out on the town, or a junk food fuelled movie marathon (especially if it's early 00s movies) I would ideally like to live with people I can be friends with and hang out with occasionally. I'm quite social, but respectful if you wanna do your own thing too. I currently reside on the north side and am looking to change it up so I will definitely need all the brunch recs. I'm fairly clean and would like to live with people similar. But honestly, if you're chill and down for a laugh I'm sure we'd get along fine.
