22 year old Canadian backpacker coming to Australia with a working holiday visa; totally out of the oridinary right?! I love electronic music, poetry/painting/writing/art, drinking, festivalling, good food with good people, wildlife, sauerkraut, pancakes, and lemurs, in no specific order. Looking for accomadation with fellow human who have common interests or teaming up as well. I am very organized and tidy, outgoing with a tad of introvertedness, and have a knack for dry humour and sarcasm. ✌🏻🦄🥞👑
For the last 5 years I’ve lived in a wonderful little flat in Seddon. Unfortunately, yearly rent increases have priced me out of my home. I really want to keep living in the inner-West or inner-North (I work in Moonee Ponds). I like to keep to myself, mostly, but wouldn’t mind sharing a meal every now and again. I like to keep my space clean and tidy.
Hey all, my name is Michael and I am a 25 year old business owner. I am friendly and easy to get along with. I'm tidy and respectful to my housemates. I currently live in St Kilda but I am wanting to move to a different location. I enjoy sport, cooking, movies and nights out in my spare time.
Hey! We are Taylah & Christie. We are 18 and 19 years old and looking to move in to a share house together! Taylah is currently working part time in Flagstaff, Christie is working full time in Springvale. We would like to move out by the end of this year. We are looking at the inner city suburbs, such as: Brunswick, Fitzroy, Coburg, Carlton, Reservoir and surrounding. Or inner easter suburbs such as: Camberwell, Hawthorn, Burnley, Burwood, Glen Iris, Kew and surrounding. If you have 2 rooms available in your share house or are looking for a few people to join you in a new share house please contact me! We are fun, easy going, relaxed and respectful girls who would love to meet some new people and become independent by living out of home.
Hey, I work full time, very tidy, social but not a party animal, i'm pretty career focussed. Looking for a private room in a share house with respectful and clean people.. If you have a room available you think might be worth having a chat about please a send me through a message.
Hi I'm 27, from Sydney and will be moving to Melbourne on 01/06 to start my new position within the VIC department of economic development. I'm a non smoker and am very clean and organised. I am respectful of people things and space. I am interested in healthy eating and exercise but can enjoy a drink too.
Hi I'm Beck! Looking to move into a share house with people who I will soon call my best mates, together cooking amateur dinners and sinking bevs. I'm currently working in Human Resources, behind a bar and babysitting. On my nights off I'm often a sloth on the couch or 'eating my money' on Chapel St. I'm super tidy, always pay my bills on time and understand that sometimes alone time is needed. Looking forward to chatting!
I'm medical graduate coming to Melbounre for master degree of public health. I attended a health conference in Australia two years ago and couldn't help fall in love this cosmopolitan and vibrant country. Then ai took medical elective and worked as an intern in Brisbane for a few months, travelled a bit in Sydney and Melbourne. Now I'm ready to settle down in Melbounre to explore more of this centre of art and culture, and make new friends from all sort of backgrounds. I'm not perfect but I always try to be open minded, respectful, flexible, caring. I'm very passionate about life and interested in other people's stories. I work hard, play hard. I love travelling, intellectual conversations, walks along the bush or beach, films and Ukulele, foods and drinks... just too many things I enjoy and I'm always happy to explore new stuff as well.
I'm 24, studying Visual Art at Bendigo Tafe. Looking to move back to Melbourne for more opportunities. I'm easy-going, clean, and friendly. I love music, art, walking and playing with my dog Taco! Exercise, having fun, reading a good book and chilling out. I play guitar and a bit of piano, am into fashion design, and I love to create! Plus I always pay my rent and bills on time! I'm reliable, trustworthy, and am also interested in teaming-up if you think you're for me, and my furry bundle of joy! Note: Not interested in a "party house", but a fun one all the same! Taco is house-trained, is loved by just about everyone, and isn't an outside only dog. He never smells poorly - cos he's quite clean, for a dog. Prolly cos he grooms himself like a cat! ^_^ Looking for a dog-friendly household to move into. So decent sized backyard a must.
I'm easy going and can talk about anything. I don't take myself too seriously though value doing a good job of things and being reasonable & respectful. I'm clean and tidy and don't leave a foot print (so to speak). I'm often away with work & gym and attending other social events. I'm very independent and also mindful of other people's space. I also have a robust sense of humour which can be important for creating good vibes :) BTW I'm also flexible with length of stay, I can potentially stay much longer than 6 months - just thought that might be a good length of time to start on.
Hi, I'm Yash. Doing my degree in contemporary music, Australian Institute of Music , Guitarist, singer. If you want to know everything here it self, youl be bored. Lets get to know more once we are roomies!
Hey guys! My friend Cameron and I have been friends for years and are looking to move out after July. We were hoping to find a third person and start a sharehouse together. Me and Cameron both work full time, but we enjoy socialising so we are looking for someone relaxed and social, but with the balance of respecting space. We really want to build a good and sweet home that is a haven away from the stress of life. We are both wonderfully bubbly and friendly people and would love to bring in someone who is happy to go out to bars and gigs, have a few beers, and possibly can fullfill the remaining vocals of Bohemian Rhapsody. I work 9-5 so feel free to shoot me a text before or after work introducing yourself, and your best joke and let's all meet up! I work in Hawthorn and Cam works near the city so we are looking at inner city houses with a nice backyard that are no more that $650 a week. Look forward to hearing from you lovely people x Inez and Cam
- neat, tidy and responsible - love to socialise but i'm a little awakward (lol, don't hate) - full-time student and have part-time job so i'm busy most days! *LOOKING FOR A PLACE THAT'LL ACCOMODATE 1 YEAR OR MORE*
Hey there! I'm Carmelo, 29/ Italian , working FT in constructions. I'm ideally looking for a room around Hawthorn or Brunswick (these 2 sides of the city) I'm friendly, clean, house_share_trained, easygoing , and looking for same future flatmates. I can make an amazing Carbonara ...and that might be enough to get the place, without considering a funny accent included in the package 😂 Let me know! Thanks guys🤞🏻 Ps: I'd need to find something as soon as possible
Hi! I'm a mid-twenties professional relocating from Sydney to Melbourne at the beginning of July. I work full time in property development and usually keep busy running in the mornings and cooking/getting out and about on the weekends. I love a good cocktail night but equally happy for a movie or just to curl up and watch the footy! Looking for a place to call home and flatmates who are friendly and house proud.
Hey, I'm Dani, turned 50 in December and love getting older, 'your age is your attitude' is my motto as I feel young at heart. I work 4 days a week as a legal transcriptionist in the CBD and enjoy work and having a laugh with my colleagues. Born and bred in Melbourne and love it so will always be based here. I currently live in a largish home in middle suburbs (after living in inner west for 25 years) which I shifted to to accommodate my precious cat, Daisy. She loved it here but unfortunately recently passed so I would like a smaller place/fresh start back to my grass roots - inner west. The important things I feel as a sole renter or in house share is to pay and contribute your fair share of rent and bills (on time), do fair share of chores, if using common areas clean up after yourself there and then rather than leave a mess for next person, be honest and upfront (in a considerate/polite way) rather than bottle things up then explode and importantly negotiation is key, not 'my way or the highway'. I'm an optimistic person who loves to laugh and am confident relating with many diverse people. 'Live and let live', is an important phrase to me, that is, being who you are and allowing others the same right without being judgmental.
Hello, FlatMatties! I am doing my bachelors from La Trobe University Bundoora Campus and working part time at Collins street. Have lived in room and flat shares before so I know the etiquettes of share houses. I am a decent jolly guy who will always try to understand your situation and deal you accordingly. I am mostly out for work or studies and just come back in the night. I am a pretty much welcoming guy and love to meet people from diffrent cultures. I like to party once a while or go out on weekend to beaches or maybe exploring the city but don't worry if the house vibe is not party like I will respect other people's comfort. I would love to meet people who like to have a conversation or a drink once in a while but at the same time can give me some alone time. I am looking somewhere either in the CBD, Southbank, Docklands and Carlton or I will be willing to move to suburbs on tram 86 route area or any surrounding suburbs from where the commute time to city is 10-20 minutes. I am more than willing to rent out a place of our own and start a share house with like minded people. I am actually looking for long term place but my lease at current place will expire on 13th June
I'm a queer artist/carpenter, coffee and non-fiction are as good as gatherings and a cold bevy. My old doggo companion will fulfil all of your cuteness needs, very chilled and quiet border collie cross, she's more like a human/cat than a dog. I love having a good chilled family vibe in a place, makes it feel like home :) Move date is July ish but am able to pay rent from now.
Moving from Sydney to Melbourne. I'm a civil engineer and I'll be working with one of the engineering firms on St Kilda Road so I'm looking for a place near-ish there. I'm generally pretty easy going and I have a preference on the cleaner side of things. I am looking for sensible and mature housemates. Ideally, we would be friends but if we only find each other tolerable that's fine to.
