Hello, here's a little about me: I've lived in Melbourne most of life but am originally from Perth. Lived in student share-houses for a few years and looking for a more homely vibe now! I currently manage a bar in the Southbank Arts Precinct and I also play bass in a couple of bands. My educational background is in Music, Philosophy and Psychology. I'm starting my Masters in Music Therapy in February so will be dedicated to that for the next two years. In my spare time I like to read, meditate, write, walk, catch up with friends, play, write and listen to music, garden and learn about anything and everything I don't yet know. I'm quite introverted in a lot of ways, but I'm always up for a chat. I'm very structured in my routine, I'm vegan mostly for health reasons but completely non-judgemental about other's diets, I don't smoke and only drink occasionally. Looking for a place with clean, like-minded people who I can learn and grow with and who enjoy co-existing and creating a shared space! On rare days off I like to try and get out of the city and explore nature. I have a little black cat named Pepper who has lived in a few different places with me over her 3 years and always settles in to new environments very quickly. She's a sweetheart and has shared spaces with other cats and dogs without issue. Ideally I'm looking for a place with some private space for me to work in, as spend a lot of time tinkering and studying and getting lost in thought. A granny flat I could harness, a small spare room or a large bedroom I can section off would be perfect! Looking to live with relaxed, like-minded people :)
Hi, From the end of January, I will be studying business studies in Melbourne. I will be staying in Australia for at least 9 months. I already lived in Norway and Croatia. Currently living in Warsaw, Poland - where I come from. I am a guy that respects privacy and with whom you can talk about anything and cook together. Fancy some pierogi? I love to travel, discover new places and do outdoor activities.
Hi! I'm Ariana, 19, Peruvian/Japanese and currently looking for a place to live for next year while I'm in my second year studying Science at Melbourne Uni. I am super easy-going, honest, reliable, open-minded and very respectful of others boundaries and personal space and am looking for a friendly homey sharehouse to live in. I'm vegan, LGBTIQA+ friendly (ofcourse) and I enjoy going to art galleries, gigs, markets, bars, clubs, and watching movies and playing videogames by myself or with others. Some qualities I think would make me a pretty good housemate <3 • I’m always willing to clean the dishes and the house. • I cook some pretty damn good vegan nachos and banana cinnamon pancakes. Also, I love to cook for people. • I am very environmentally conscious, so my water and electricity usage are sure to be low • I have an extensive collection of tea and coffee, that of course everyone can use no charge. I have way too much tea for one person… please help out a gal • I will always make sure the house is smelling good with my essential oils and candles • Will always share my lush facemasks Hope to hear from you :) ~Ariana
Hi! I am Alicja from Poland. I am searching for a new home in Melbourne and I would like to introduce myself here shortly. I am a quiet type, very busy with my studies, sometimes drawing at home, mostly on-line with my computer. I love people and am always ready to listen to their stories. I love long walks and hope to get back to my yoga routine. I am an art lover: museums, films, TV-series and books are my things. At the share house I am respectful to others and clean. Most of the time I stay in my room but I am always open to have a chat :) I am able to provide references if needed.
I'm a property manager working in the outskirts of the city. Looking for 12 months or more. I'm really easy going and sociable but definitely love my "me" time. I love to cook and keep fairly active. Im usually out and about on weekends and can work some long hours. Not wanting to move into a full on party house but dont mind a few drinks here and there.
Hello, I am a 27 y/o police officer and am looking for a place to stay in Melbourne for the time that I am vacationing there. Either one bedroom for myself or two bedrooms for my friend and I. I'll arrive on the 28th of December and plan on staying either until the 20th of Febuary or prolonged until the 20th of March. My friend, who is staying for a year, is already in Melbourne so she can come inspect a room without a problem. Mostly, I plan on traveling around and taking drum/art classes. Neither of which I'll practice in your home, no worries :) If I can find a place in the center of Melbourne or around Southbank or Saint Kilda I think that would be awesome and preferred!
Renee and I are two Canadian girls moving to Melbourne with a working holiday visa. We graduated university just recently and are looking to try something new before we dive head first into our careers. We are fun but respectful and very easy-going!

Hola mates. Looking for a roommate and an apartment for a year, starting February 2018. I’m an easy going guy, photographer, way too friendly, master at procrastinating (which can get worrisome at times) but I get things done on time. Full time student, currently unemployed. I’m neat and tidy. If you’re keen, hit me up!
Hi there! I heard bout this site from my brother who had nothing but praises so decided to give it a go. My gf and I are moving to Melbourne in January from Croatia (she's Croatian, I'm half-half dual citizen, mum was born in Aus. Lived most my life up in Cro) after a loooong time of planning for the big change and hoping to start ourselves a new life, finding work, learning new stuff and generally just living there! We're both pretty easy going, and moving from a flat in Croatia where we also have 2 roommates, so we're used to sharing space. We are tidy enough, I'm maybe a tad bit tidier than her! :D (she's a artist after all) We're outgoing, but not the annoying type, so we've no problem in keeping to ourselves as well. We're gonna be trying to look for jobs even before we fly down, and jobhunt to find something asap. TLDR: Couple looking for a affordable place to stay, as we're fresh in the country and need somewhere to start. Have no real set duration, would possibly like to look into getting our own place down the line. Finding friendly people would be great, and even more amazing someone semi local who we can gratefully mine for information. (We pay back in home made cakes n treats! XD ) Thanks for the read!
Hi, I'm moving back to Melbourne in January to work the next coming year. I'm persian/swede, 28 years old, and work full time as sales coordinator. I don't spend much time at home but when I do I like my home safe, pretty quiet, tidy and clean. It's important for me that everybody shows each other respect and privacy in the home. When I don't work I like to workout, watch netflix, go out for dinner/drinks and have a boogie at Chapel. Im looking for a room for at least 3-4 months and I prefer it furnished. Let me know If you have a room in the area that I'm interested of. Cheers!

Hello! I'm Kirie. I'm a Mathematics student currently pursuing my Degree at Monash Uni. I'm not particularly hard to get along with or noisy so you won't have to worry about me being a bother. My hobbies are playing video games and board games so I don't usually go out much but I would still love to hang out and grab drinks if you want! I'm currently considering getting a pet, so that's still within discussion depending on if you/potential flatmates are comfortable with that.

We are two friends looking to move into a house in either Elwood or St Kilda. We're open to either one person for a three bedroom, or joining with another pair for a four bedroom. A bit about us: Laura: I am a full time Media and Communications Consultant, working in Melbourne's CBD. I'm from country NSW and I'm a fairly laid back girl who provides an endless supply of terrible banter and chill. I love my work, my sport, reading books and riding my horses so I am often quite busy. However, I am so down for a night of shenanigans here and there! I love communal TV watching and wine drinking. I am a die hard animal enthusiast so if you have pets I will volunteer as pet sitting tribute. My ideal house dynamic is one where we can all be friends and do things like enjoy TV/movies together or occasionally go and explore Melbourne's bars. Hannah: I'm currently working in Communications with the Victorian government and will hopefully continue with similar work next year. When I'm not binge watching RuPaul's Drag Race, you can find me cooking experimental vegan meals, napping on the beach and/or rapping the rap parts of Beyonce's songs. I'm also a keen Irish dancer (yep, actually), currently learning Spanish and I care about animal rights and defending our oceans. Dance, work and Spanish keep me pretty occupied but an ideal housemate would be keen for the occasional wine/movie night in or sharing a meal here or there. Bonus points if you hate coriander!
