Hi, future flatmate I am an undergrad at Monash University. I will also be working part-time. I am half Scottish / Māori. Some of my interests include: gym, cyber security, spy and crime flicks, and learning new languages. I am also flexible on max rent and move in/out times. I am looking for a flatmate that is clean, respecting of personal space and such, reliable and is a good communicator. Besides those essential things you, reasonably, can be anything you like. You should have the home comfort feeling of being yourself—it will be your space too; a stress-free zone. This means its fine if you have pets, play a musical instrument, eat only certain coloured foods, or perhaps even like wearing silly print pyjamas: I do not mind. Preferences: • Separate bathrooms (if you are female) • Dishwasher • European Laundry • Within 15 minutes commute to Caulfield or Clayton campuses • Unfurnished (Aside from my own room, I will be considering spending a sum and furnishing the living space—but not before agreement, of course) • A single (as in one person, opposed to two or three) flatmate, who is a student • Good heating/cooling system • Good Internet If you think we could likely get along well or if our preferences unsettlingly align perfectly send me a message
My mum and I are looking for a quiet but fairly private place for us to stay while we holiday here in Melbourne. We are looking for a private room with an ensuite bathroom or a private bathroom. We will be usually busy with my own things. We are quiet and friendly and very flexible about things. We are very neat and would treat the house like our own.
Hi Luke, I’m 27 and moving to Melbourne for work on the weekend. Looked for a furnished room in a share house with one or two other flatmates. I’m super clean and love cooking up a storm. Will be heading back to Sydney every second weekend, with my girlfriend coming down to stay with me every other weekend. Love having a beer so would be great to have a flat dinner or a quiet couple during the week :)
Billy (the other half) and I are both Irish, mid-twenties, very social and just new to Melbourne so keen to get settled. I work as an event manger and Billy's in construction but in our spare time and weekends we are mostly at gigs, sporting events or out with friends! Easy to live with, both very clean and always keen to help out around :)
I’m fun loving, respectful and neat ... love books and good music... a great chat over wine but also a quiet stroll in nature. I’m not too keen on having a pet in a shared house as I’m allergic unfortunately. Also looking for a place with my own bathroom. Happy to team up with likeminded people asvthere seem to be lots of properties with real estate agents.

Easy going and quiet. On a WHV. Christia is a designer, love nature, love reading and a vegetarian. Christina loves to sing, interact with people, nature. At times we love our alone time but in general we are very friendly, kind, clean and tidy.
Hi there! I'm an enthusiast traveller from Belgium, just moved to Melbourne in December. I'm 27yo and working full time in a five-star hotel in CBD and looking for a place to live close by. I'm a very tidy and organized person, and I like to live in a clean environment. I'm passionate about photography, traveling, cycling and surfing, and I like to spend my free time outdoor doing all kinds of activities and hanging out with friends. I'd like to have housemates that could also be friends to share some chats and laughs with, and a couple of drinks sometimes. If u think we could I could be a good fit in your house, don't hesitate to contact me. Cheers ;)
Helloooooo!! I'm a uni student studying languages and development studies, and I work in hospo so I've got enough money for rent and bills etc. I'm kinda sporty (I play hockey for Melbourne Uni, and I enjoy a bit of orienteering too), but I don't go for freakishly long runs every other day. On the fun side, I quite enjoy a beer or glass of wine over dinner, whether its at home or at the pub (love a good pub and beer garden), and I go to gigs and festivals whenever I can afford it. Will happily re-watch GoT or HIMYM at any time and have a long list of tv shows I need to watch. Not the best dinner chef, but will supply homemade cakes, cookies and pickled veg! I also potentially want to start doing homebrew beer, but we'll see how that goes. Also more than happy to live with any furry friends that you may have, especially if they're cuddly. Flexible moving date, but no sooner than Feb 20th as I need to give my current housemate enough time to find someone to takeover my room.
Hey there !! Me and my boyfriend are moving from the cold mountains of Jasper Alberta (canada) to the city of melbourne around March 18 We are both super laid back and love the outdoors, adventures and food! Animals are our best friends and we are absolutely okay if you have any :) We aren't loud people and can easily keep to ourselves but we also want to meet as many people as we can moving to a new country !! Thanks in advance from us :)
I'm a queer design student who's looking to move closer to uni in brunswick. I'm on centrelink youth allowance and work a casual job, though I will be finding a new job nearby where I end up living. I'm a comfortable mix of extroversion and introversion, love a good chat but also need alone time. I'm a creative person and will usually have a project on the go. Not a totally neat freak but I respect shared space and if there ever is any mess I shall keep it to my room! :P look forward to hearing from you!
I'm a currently studying at Swinburne University in Hawthorn. I work two jobs in Frankston, where I currently reside. For fun I like to catch up with friends at cafes , bars and music gigs , although I also like staying in and chilling. I am clean, neat and friendly. Always willing to give a hand and help out when needed.
Hi everyone, I'm Sam! I'm a PA/accounts for an insurance broker, enjoy working out, photography, movies and food haha. I'm friendly and always up for a chat. Looking for a chill place to live, not phased if it's with guys or girls ☺️
Friendly British/Brazilian couple looking for a 4-6 month place in Melbourne to enable us to be nearer to jobs (Anna works in hospitality and Fernando in construction). We just want to be able to save some dollars and enjoy the beautiful city! We like the simple things - great food, cold beer, reggae music. We are clean and respectful, always do our dishes and like to keep things tidy. We're animal lovers but sadly don't have any pets in Oz with us! We both enjoy nature and the outdoors but sometimes nothing beats a night in with a glass of vino and a movie :)
Hey! I'm a very easy going and chilled out guy from a small town in North Eat Victoria wanting to move down to Melbourne. I currently work as a cleaner and have a history of jobs so getting a new one won't be something to worry too much about. I tend to keep to myself but I've been told I have a nice sense of humour and will always be down for a good conversation. Although I lack in cooking skills I make up for them by enjoying cleaning and don't find it a task at all. I enjoy the casual drink and having a good time with friends while keeping respectful. I will be bringing my large/anxious/incredibly sweet American bulldog with me too, as she is the absolute love of my life! She is a 'sleep in my bed' type of dog but is 100% house trained and will hang out and give you kisses while I'm not home. So honestly the only requirement I have for a housemate is for them to be kind and love her.
Sian and Drew are a rivaled country couple, beating the odds and both in favour of vegemite over marmite. Drew is an avid yoga instructor and encompasses all things yoga including man buns, avocado smash and words of fortune-cookie-like encouragement. Sian helps manage an over populated cafe in the heart of Fitzroy and spends the rest of her time petting her beloved cat Pip (included) and trying not to kill her indoor plants (stay tuned). Both vego, both enjoy the odd vino tinto, both hoping to do lots of travel and entertain our fellow comrades with a high level of sarcasm and laughs whenever possible. Like to think we're very easy to get along with and not huge party animals. Looking for a humble abode to share with some fun, loving people. Willing to move in earlier or later depending on what works for you :)
Hi! I'm a lawyer looking for a place in or near the CBD. I'm open to joining an existing flatshare or teaming up to rent. Move-in date is flexible. I'm originally from Melbourne but have spent the last couple of years working at a court in Canberra. I am super easy to live with, have no annoying habits and have always got on very well with flatmates. As a full-time worker, I'm well attuned to the need for space and quiet time. I'm also very responsible with rental/bill payments (I managed all outgoings at my last place) and with keeping the place clean and tidy. In my spare time I enjoy talking about the news of the day, going to classical music concerts, and cooking and baking. If you are interested in teaming up, please feel free to send me a message so we can have a chat about our preferences.
Hi there! I'm a 24 year old recent university graduate who is making the move from Adelaide to Melbourne for work - a 9-5 in a policy position with the Victorian Government. I like reading, writing (or, more accurately contemplating writing), binge-watching shows on Netflix and exploring new places. I'm a pretty laid back person and I'm not against having an occasional drink or hangout with my flatmate but I'm also cool with just doing my own thing. I view home as a sanctuary, a place to unwind after a busy day. I also like having a tidy place (I'm not anal about it though) and am big on everyone contributing equally to keeping the common areas neat. I'm flexible on how long the lease is - anywhere from ~3 months to a year works for me.
My name is Angela. I study part time and work part time at a shop you may not know. on my downtime I am either sailing or watching Netflix. Very reliable with paying bills, and clean up after myself. Huge animal lover, but have no pets of my own.
Hey all, I'm Zarah. I'm originally from NZ but after 3 years in melbs I really feel like it's home. I'm a pretty relaxed individual who is looking for an awesome group of housemates. I work full time in the CBD and in my spare time I enjoy playing games (PC and PS4), exercising and also a bit of a foodie. I am also impartial to a stroll down St Kilda beach or hiking or outdoorsy activity in general. Looking forward to finding my new home soon :)
