Hey I'm Nic and I am 28. I work in building compliance. My work varies around Melbourne which leads me inter state / over seas for a week or 2 every now and then. I generally work 8-5 Monday to Friday. If works slow you can generally find me at my studio painting and creating, which is where I normally can be found most times during the week / weekends if I'm not doing tai chi or out and about eating / boogieing / viewing things / with friends. When I'm home I like to cook (I'm a vego), spin a record, watch a film and do a bit of reading. I am pretty clean and pretty quiet, and not much really bothers me so I think I'd say I'm a pretty easy person to live with.
I am 31 yo Polish easy going and friendly girl who has just moved from Sydney to explore beauty of Melbourne. I am clean, tidy and trustworthy person, who likes quiet and clean place to rest. I can rent a room or share it with nice and clean girl.
Hey guys, I'm working full-time in scientific research, and like to read, explore places, watch comedies, and enjoy a good brunch. I've lived with various flatmates over the last decade in Canada and more recently, in Melbourne, and am pretty easy-going, tidy and enjoy the occasional shared dinner/drinks while respectful of my flatmates' privacy. I'm ideally looking to share an apartment with one other person, who is friendly, working full-time, likes a good chat about books and such, and is respectful of privacy. Grishma
I am a very tidy and organized person. I'm super easy to get along with, generally quiet and enjoy my personal space but I do enjoy socializing and great conversations. I hoping to find some relaxed living enviroment and friendly flatmates. In my spare time I am an avid reader and fitness enthusiast.
I am friendly and easy going, work Full Time, Mon-Fri in the CBD, and currently live alone in a one bedroom apartment in Hawthorn close to Swinburne University. I've lived in the apartment for about 9 years. I would like to start a new lease or move into an existing share house offering a private room in the inner suburbs closer to the CBD. I prefer to meetup in person for a coffee to discuss further.
I'm down to earth and easygoing. I'm clean and pretty tidy. I'm respectful, kind and I like to cook. I love to laugh at myself and be a bit daggy/silly. I'm a no bs person but in a nice way - think Donna/Rachel (Suits). I work full time in the City and extra typing from home. I'm a Mary Kay Consultant so always stocking up on samples (which of course I would share with my housemate - bonus!). I'm active, going to the gym etc. I love to have a laugh and good company. Love a casual drink or coffee. Big fan of random things. Oh and I love pups! Okay, so everyone has a downside. Here's mine (not an exhaustive list I'm sure - I am biased) - I work too much and I like a long shower (happy to compensate in the bills for this one). I've put 3 months just to choose something. I'm looking for economy of scale and good company in a nice place closer to the city.
Respectful, Easy going guy. Enjoy being social but appreciate my alone time just as much; the nice balance. Like to keep my weekly nights quiet as I work full time in the city Monday - Friday. Pay my bills on time/ early and live within my means. Clean/ neat and tidy type of person. Not big on a kitchen full of dishes or overall house clutter but I like my place to be cosy and "lived in". Not a vegetarian/ vegan but respect those who are. Im a straight male. My best mate is gay and we lived together for 2 years and have been mates for over 8 years. Happy living with LGBTQ. Happy to live with women or men. Happy to live with Dogs and Cats.
ı have been living since January in Brisbane but ı want to move to Melbourne ı will continue to study in ILSC language school. I will stay long term in Melbourne that is average 15 months. I would like to find a private room and also should be near to my college.
Hi everyone, I am interested in a team up house or an already established place preferably in Essendon or Niddrie, otherwise would be willing to look more towards Coburg/Brunswick areas for around $700-$800 per calendar month, hopefully not too far away from public transport (59 or 58 trams preferably). I would like a place where everyone is equally welcome as well as responsible meaning everyone is on the lease not just one person. I am looking to move around the end of November or start of December as my lease is up on the 9th of December. I am looking for a place with a decent sized bedroom (hopefully a master with ensuite if possible but not a deal breaker!) As well as a car spot or free street parking. A house with a bit of space would be great so we would not be tripping over each other all the time. I have a fridge and a washing machine as well as pots and pans for the kitchen to add to a house as well as all my own bedroom needs. I work full time Monday - Friday anywhere between 6:30am-6:30pm with one RDO a month. I would like a house that is happy to socialise with the occasional meal (I'm not the best cook but I try) but also happy to respect each other's privacy. There are weeks that I am barely home except to sleep as I like to catch up with friends and family when I can but I also have weekends where I prefer to just stay home with my blanket and STAN. I would like to be able to invite family and friends over for a few drinks or a movie every now and then and am happy for you to do the same. Apart from catching up with family I like to go to the movies ( if you can have a conversation about Harry Potter or Dr Who that's a plus!) , gigs, road trips back to my hometown Ballarat and games nights. I also like to go out with friends for dinner and drinks etc. Please message if you would like to know more or meet up to have a chat about a property etc. Non smokers welcome Thanks
Hey, I'm Ashley and I'm 23 years old, I work full time Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm for an insurance company in Southbank. I am originally from the Gold Coast, been living in Melbourne for the past 9 months. I am looking for a sublet or something minimum 3 months. On my weekends I love exploring new places around Melbourne and having a few casual drinks. I am looking for some down to earth, open minded roommates who I can share a drink and chat with at the end of the day. Talk soon!
I recently relocated to Melbourne from the UK to work here for the next 18 months. I'm looking for somewhere with one or two housemates preferably in South Yarra, Richmond, Southbank. I'm clean, tidy and quiet but love meeting new people and being sociable at the weekends. I love keeping fit, yoga, cycling and hiking. Massive coffee lover too!
Hi guys, my lease will be up at the end of October in the lovely st kilda east so I'm looking for somewhere close by! I'll be working part time and studying so I like to keep busy. I keep to myself but also don't mind the occasional get together :)
Super easy to get along with. Very clean and tidy. Loves having a good time but also appreciates quiet alone time. Very determined and focused on my routines, career, health & fitness. Originally from Sydney. Have spent the last 2 years in London. I am a vegan. Loves animals, nature/hikes, tattoos, motorbikes, books, health, learning, dad jokes. I am moving to Melbourne from Sydney mid September due to a job offer. :)
Hello, I'm an Interior designer (with some creative projects on the side). I'm interested in many things and curious about everything, but mostly my time is focused on design, some music and reading, and exploring new places. I'm very open minded / easy going and easy to live with, and I respect shared space. But I also want to live in a clean house where everyone contributes. I'm looking for a share house with 3-4 other people, similar age and preferably mixed genders - I'd love an active house where we engage and spend time together and can have a laugh, whilst still having personal space / time too. A parking space or permit would also be ideal :) Look forward to meeting you!
We are Carla from Argentina and Stephane from France. Recently moved to Melbourne after travelling round New Zealand for a few months. We are with a Working Holiday Visa, currently looking for a job in Hospitality to stay at least 4 months. We want a room in a shared flat or house, with a big bed for both. We are looking for a nice place to chill out through the week, with people who are keen to have a drink or just watch a movie. We are both outgoing people and willing to give most things a go. Stephane has a degree in Gastronomy and loves cooking. He plays basketball but interested in any sports. Carla has a degree in Communication and she is also interested in photography.
Hey! I'm a recent law graduate from UQ, Brisbane. I'm leaving sunny QLD for sophisticated Melbourne in December to take up a graduate job in the CBD - exciting days! I'll most likely be working long hours at this job, so I won't around the property much. I have simple habits and as much as I like to have a good time, I'm not a fan of huge house party raves. My weekends in Melbourne will probably be spent at museums and restaurants. I love watching plays, too. I'm a big fan of travelling and though I've done some backpacking myself, I don't think I can ever get tired of hearing about other people's travels. My favourite adventure to date is my 10 week overlanding experience in West Africa. There's actually no place like that region. I have a 1-year-old domestic long-hair cat that I will be taking with me. She's sweet-natured and have quite a mild temperament. As her hooman, I take regular care of her litter box and I make sure there are no stray hairballs around the house - it's for her own health too, cats choking on and vomiting up their hairballs is not anyone's idea of fun. She's an indoor cat, so you don't have to worry about her bringing dead birds home as 'gifts', and no, she also will not wake you up at 4am to make you look at a gecko she delimb-ed - she's very well-behaved. My cat does get stressed sometimes though... She's used to introverts and quiet living conditions. If those boxes are checked, she's very likely want to be your friend, too! Hit me up if you like cats and chill people! I'd love to hear from you.
I'm an easygoing, second year Melbourne uni student studying Bachelor of Science with Pre-med. I have moved around a lot. I used to live in Australia, moved to the US during high school, and moved back here for uni. I love working out, swimming and being outdoors in general. I spend a lot of time studying but like to go out once or twice a week. I'm fairly neat and like to cook a little.
Hi everyone! My wife and I are moving to Melbourne in November on a working holiday visa and are looking for a studio/1 bed apartment or a shared house with 1 or 2 other flatmates. I am 28 and my wife is 27, we are both Irish, I'm a chartered accountant and my wife is a graphic designer. We are tidy and sociable and enjoy movies, cooking, red wine and sports.
Hi I'm Jade, I'm 25 from New Zealand. I previously lived in Melbourne for a couple of years before moving to London for just over two years. I have now returned to NZ and am ready to get back into Melbourne life! I will be back in Melb on September 27th. I work in hospitality, usually cafes, so my hours aren't too crazy. In my spare time I like to hang out with friends, try out new bars and restaurants, see what events are on in the city or just chill at home. I'm a very easy going person who loves a clean house and respectful housemates. During my time in London I ended up living with over 20 different housemates so I'm very understanding of others and can get on with pretty much anyone!
I have recently moved from the Gold Coast and am looking to find a home with one other (or a solid, happy couple). My home is my sanctuary and I trust it will be yours too. I lead a fairly quiet lifestyle with a dedicated yoga and meditation practice, simultaneously, I do enjoy a nice dinner or drink out. I am clean, respectful of other peoples' space and belongings and hope you are too. I work full time in a busy role that takes me away from home a few nights a month and I also go back to the GC one weekend a month too. I am independent, grounded, reliable and although not a huge chatterbox, would love to at least be able share a conversation with my new housemate/s. I am only looking for a drama free environment and certainly not a party house. I sound like a bit of a stick in the mud, but I can be quite funny too! :-) If you think we might a great fit, I would love to hear from you!
