hey guys!! I'm from the UK and here on a working holiday visa! I've already done the travelling part and are here to stay in Melbs for the year (fingers crossed it'll be permanently!!) I'm outgoing, sociable, respectful, independent and considerate! I love getting out and doing things, and prefer not to be stuck inside! I'm really easy going and keen to get out of my hostel asap because it's driving me insane!!
Hi, I'm Daniel and I came to Melbourne one month ago, I'm studying and working in the city. I am a tidy and neat person because I think is the most important to live with other people. I like to see new places in the city and enjoy it.
Hello, Originally from WA but have been here in Melbourne for about 4 years. I like going out to try new places with friends but am pretty low key during the week. I try to be fairly healthy eating/exercise wise and enjoy cooking. My addiction to Lazer Pig can get in the way of this... Looking for somewhere inner city as I like walking to work in the CBD :) I'd like to live in a house with similar people, clean/tidy professionals, who don't mind the occasional wine. Full time workers preferred. I've said 6 months in the "how long" section but have no plans to leave Melbourne :) Thanks!
A few things about me to spike your interest, as I assume you probably get a million messages! I work full time for a land surveyor as well as studying part time as a building designer. I'm hard working and highly reliable.. Brought up the good Ol' fashion way, so I know how to clean up after myself and cook a mean meal well too - if you're keen to share a meal or two together.. I get to the gym or yoga most days and love anything active or in the sun. Love a good weekend out and about or a relaxing night in on the couch with a glass of Pinot.. I'm a very down to earth, easy going person, but definitely enjoy my own space. I am looking for someone who is also respectable and a pleasure to live with. I'm 22, but definitely an old soul.. probably get along better with people quite a bit older than me so more looking for house mates in the 24+ vercinity.. but not too fussed..
Hey there, my name is Giles. I'm a 34 year old kiwi who has been living in Melbourne for almost 10 years. I am a carpenter and I love my work. I work Monday to Friday and the occassional Saturday. During the week I'm up and out of the house pretty early to get to work by 7am. I'm pretty happy and cruisy. I love most outdoor activities like hiking and camping and going to the beach. I also love sport - both watching and playing. I think of myself as a fairly social person and do enjoy great company, although I'm far from a party animal (getting too old for that!). I am quite partial to having a few beers or wines with dinner or over the weekend. Cheers
About to start a full time job with Dep of Immigration in the docklands! Lived out of home for many years and lived overseas - very domesticated.. Love a good Netflix session and listening to the Js while making dinner, enjoy bulk cooking. Usually try to get to the gym in the morning and mandatory Friday knock off drinks! Keen to enjoy everything melbs has to offer especially plenty of gigs!
We are 5 people currently living in St Kilda and here on working holiday visas,(2 from Sweden, 2 from England and 1 from Denmark). We are very respectful of our living environment and our neighbours. Although we are outgoing we are quiet around the house.
Hi! My name is Claire, and I am interested in your houseshare :) I am friendly, and work full time in insurance claims near the city. Looking for a home more than a house! Am quite active outside of work and out a few evenings a week/ weekends. But I do like a few home nights too (and a wine!) to relax. Let me know if suits and we can tee up a time! Claire
Hi guys I'm Milou, 24 years young all the way from the Netherlands looking for a summer spot in Melbourne. I'm a big fan of 80s and 90s music, a good glass of red wine and brains (neuropsychology ex-student). I'm looking for a tidy and chill house with open-minded people who want to grab a beer every now and then 🙂. Feel free to contact me if you have a place available! Cheers
Hi, my name is Kayne. I'm 25 and I'm from Sunbury in Victoria. I decided two months ago that it was time to leave the family home and become more independent. I'd love to create a new share house so that we can create a truly shared, safe space - being from a large family, I'm definitely looking forward to a bit of a more calmer, mature atmosphere (of course, except on weekends entertaining/having fun). I graduated from Swinburne, Hawthorn Campus in 2014 and have since worked full time in IT in Southbank near the CBD; my ideal flat is somewhere close by to really cut down on that travel time. I'm an avid video gamer and reader since forever (mostly Fantasy/Sci-Fi); of course, that means my consoles + TV/some of my books would be coming with me (I have too many books, so some will be going into storage!). I'm an animal lover - I've always lived with both dogs/cats plus birds, fish and even a turtle at one stage. Unfortunately, my pet cat Cola of 10+ years (see my FB page) is a family pet and won't be coming with me. If there is anything else you'd like to know about me, send me a message and I'd love to have a conversation. Thanks for reading!

I'm a 26 yo female one year away from completing my postgrad degree in medicine at Melbourne Uni. I'm originally from Sydney. I enjoy being a good mate for my housemates I am a social creature but I am also happy in solitude if people need their own space :) I've been renting with housemates since I started uni 8 years ago so I feel like I've got a grasp on this sort of thing and won't be terrible to live with! I enjoy going to the gym, cooking, going on foodie adventures and binge watching Netflix especially when I have upcoming exams. I love wine and cheese nights. I also enjoy travelling, board games, musicals and boozy conversations about history, science and politics. I am also super clean because I find it therapeutic but am highly tolerant if others aren't so much :) My lease ends Dec 11 and my close friends are all moving away so finding somewhere before then would be ideal! I love to do some cooking or baking on weekends with some wine or a cider to chill. Not into big house parties unless its a rare and special occasion. I like to live in a clean house as I feel it creates a happy place to come home to and its soothing to the mind so I like to keep things neat and tidy! Hi potential future house mate! I have just finished studying Public Relations full time at RMIT uni, I am now working as a full time Barista and waitress, in the interim of going into the industry. I am very happy and friendly. I love hanging out with my friends and family, occasionally go out but not often as work keeps me busy and I like to relax at home. I also love getting addicted to good TV series, eating good food and enjoying life. Looking for a new place to call home with friendly people, that like their own space but are also happy to hang out. Value a warm home environment as there is no place like home. If you're not laughing with me at my terrible jokes then you'll certainly be laughing at me! Look forward to hearing from you 😊
I work in the music and events industry, so I always have suggestions of fun things to do on the weekends. I pay all bills and rent on time, like to cook healthy meals and enjoy a glass of wine with my housemates. I grew up in Geraldton, WA and moved to Melbourne in 2007.
26yo doctor from New Zealand who has just moved to Melbourne looking for a place in Inner North ASAP through until February 2017, with high likelihood to extend for 6-12 months after that. I am a relatively social being, but like a clean/relaxed home space where I can enjoy cooking/baking in my time off (and get some sleep if between night shifts!). I like to have a social relationship with flatmates and perhaps cook the occasional meal together when schedules allow. Between social occasions and working long hours I am likely to be out a lot of the time. I am a travel addict, aspiring (but not very good) photographer and aviation enthusiast. Not too picky about who I live with so long as they're decent/considerate humans. LGBT friendly a must. I plan to stay in Melbourne for at least a few years. I currently have work secured at a city hospital for the summer months, and am fairly hopeful of securing a permanent position to follow this.
Hardly ever there but when I am I'm social yet respectful of others. I like to have friends over from time to time - whether it to be to study, watch Netflix, make dinner and have a drink. I'm reasonably quiet and very easy to get along with. I have a record player and speakers to bring to the household!
We are four friendly, fun and liveable English girls who have just moved to Melbourne on a year working visa. We love a good movie night but would never say no to a night out either! We are happy to share 2 rooms, if you're happy to have all four of us!
