Hola Amigos, Im a 22 year old third year politics student, afternoon napper, hospo worker, share-house trained, poor from travelling but expert maker of friends. Love intellectual debates (normally involving wine) but flip side I am not unknown to watch Yes to the Dress at 1 am stroking my cat (Don't fear, said cat has been rehomed to my parents). Flexible on place and length of lease so hit me up :)
I'm a sociable person and I recently moved to Victoria from NSW so will definitely be needing people to show me around and introduce me to this beautiful city. I will be working full time, but that will not stop me from my usual TV show binge. I'm happy to answer any questions :D
i am 27 male , commercial bricklayer. i work full time so im not home often when i am i like to chill out, play xbox or go to the gym.. im fairly out going and easy to get along with. i think im a pretty good a cook and i love going out for food.
Hey flatmate world, We're a fun loving couple looking for some new housemates in Jan/Feb 2017! We both work full time but are definitely up for getting together with our roomies for a social drink or bite to eat whenever possible. We both love going for brunch, playing different sports and watching trashy telly in our spare time. While we are a couple we are also great at doing thing separately. We are both super clean and as an added bonus Max is a tradie so he's super helpful with jobs around the house. Together we also have all the furniture needed to furnish a new house so if your's is missing anything we'll have it. This is also perfect for anyone wanting to team up. If you want to know anything else about us feel free to message!
I am very easy to get along with, tidy after myself (and sometimes others if they need help), like to keep a clean and calm household, and keep up to date with all my bills. I love nature and travel, and a bit of photography. Also play club sports, and very much a water-boy (not waterboy) cause I love my water sports or just splashing about. I'm also happy to lend a hand if something of yours is broken (I'm quite practical) and share a meal or just chill anytime.
I am from Pakistan. I recently graduated from high school and will now be studying at the University of Melbourne. My hobbies include working out, watching movies, listening to music and last but not least, obsessing over cars. I also like to play sports such as football, volleyball and cricket, as well as track/field. I can be flexible when it comes to sharing a place with someone. I don't drink or smoke, but I don't mind if others around me do either. I am not a vegetarian (for those whom it may concern), and I don't despise vegetarians either haha. I'm also cool with pets. I think the only thing I can be guilty of is taking too long to brush my teeth in the morning, so if we're sharing a bathroom we'll have to work around that. Also, I am a firm believer in personal space. I wouldn't want to intrude anyone's set boundaries of personal space and would prefer likewise in return.
Hi there! Melbourne born with an Armenian background. Easy going, normal kind of guy. Weekdays 9-5 work, get up early some mornings and go for a run and some nights boxing after work. I try to keep things more low key during the week but like the odd night out. Weekends I like to be out and about. Socialising, eating out, travelling, footy and music. I am a clean guy but not the clean freak type! I act younger than I am and mum says I need to grow up haha
Hi everyone! I'm here in Melbourne for one more semester so need a room until about June, (move in and out dates are flexible). I study molecular biology, like being outdoors for a climb a hike or just gardening in the veggie patch (sun and temperatures over 18 degrees is a luxury to be taken advantage of if you're from Sweden). Really like to do things myself like making marmalade and pickles or sewing, really keen to learn how to brew beer and dye stuff in shibori style! I haven't got any furniture so a room with a bed would be great. Apart from that, how the room is is not that important to me, more hoping to share the house with some fun and interesting people! Feel free to message me if you have questions. Cheers!
Hey, I'm Rupert. I am moving down to Melbourne from Queensland in February for my first year of university! I've always loved Melbs and I've decided to just head down and begin this new adventure. I'm looking for a nice place with great people. I'm very normal and a non-smoker. I love exploring Melbourne, visiting museums, seeing shows, enjoying a drink with friends and I'm always down for brunch. I'm very much an extrovert but I do like my own space. I'm a very clean and tidy person, extremely reliable and punctual and hopefully I'll make living with me an enjoyable experience. I'm so excited to move down to Melbourne.
Hello future flatmate! We are two American travelers --visiting from San Francisco, CA-- on working/ holiday visas in search for a home in Melbourne from January until April. We are in our late 20's, extremely clean, easygoing, and respectful roommates. Back home, Jed works in Primary education & Brittany works in residential Interior Design. The two of us enjoy reading, playing music, and almost anything that involves working with our hands (arts, crafts, etc). If you think we sound like a good fit for your home, please don't hesitate to message us! Thanks so much! Cheers, Jed and Brittany
Hi future housemate! My name is Carme. I'm 24 and I'm currently an intern (paid internship 😉 ) at the Spanish Consulate which is in Carlton. I've been living in Australia for about two months but now the lease in my house is running out and I'm looking for a new place until my internship runs out (end of March). If you wanna know a little bit about me, I come from Spain, where I just graduated from a double bachelors degree in Law and Political Science. I love travelling (I've lived in Finland, Sweden and the USA), making friends, reading, cooking, sporting, drinking wine and occasionally partying. Looking forward to hearing from you soon!
Looking for some awesome people to live with in an apartment or house around Richmond/South Yarra/Caulfield area :) (Furnished room preferably, or at least a room with a bed) I'm a 28 yr old female who loves good food, relaxing with a wine, keeping fit, socialising on the weekend but am just as happy chilling at home. I'm moving back to Melbourne to start my PhD in visual perception/consciousness at Monash (full scholarship which is basically the same as working full time). I love trying new things and going on adventures/meeting new people :) I'm also really open minded, don't take myself too seriously and love live music and gigs. (and the usual stuff, rent/bills always paid on time; clean and respectful of others space but also very friendly)
High standards when it comes to cleanliness and tidiness but friendly and easy going, I'm working full time so I'm out most of the day and night (I work in hospitality/events). Relatively new to Melbourne so I'm always down to explore and find new cool places to eat and drink. I wanna be able to have friends over for drinks on the weekend but no crazy partying. I love sports, going to the gym and to the movies, clubbing on the weekend, going to live gigs and in general listening to good music. I'm originally Italian but I've been in living between Brisbane Sydney and now Melbourne for over 4 years; I just graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts, I majored in linguistics and business management and I'm now working in the events industry (Cirque du Soleil, Vivid Sydney, L'Ètape Australia, Laneway Festival etc). I speak French and a bit of Spanish on top of English and Italian, I'm obsessed with traveling (I'm at about 36 countries as of right now) and learning about other cultures. After 3 years in sydney I'm finally making the big move and moving to Melbourne which is by far the most amazing city on this planet ❤️
I'm a Kiwi who has been living and working in Melbourne since last year. I have been flatting for around 5 years in a few different places so I am used to living with others. I like to keep fit and healthy by going to the gym and playing sports. As I have not been in Australia long I will often be out and about seeing what there is to do! When at home, I like to chat with the flatties, watch movies and chill out. I regularly cook my dinners and lunches but will eat out occasionally. Would definitely like to meet the other flatmates and see the place before moving in.
Anything you would like to know ask away. Myself and my best friend Sarah are looking for 2 rooms in a place to rent till the end of May maybe continuing to end of July. We both work full time very clean and enjoy socializing but also our own space. Always up for a weekend adventure or just relaxing eating good food and watching movies. We are looking for something furnished also spending round $180 to $200 a week
Hey! My name is Melita, I'm 22 years old and about to move down to study composing at the University of Melbourne. I am essentially the aloe vera plant of housemates - zero drama. So if you're looking for someone who pays the bills on time but is also a good ear and a solid friend, swing me a message. I love: writing music for film, going to gigs, steamed pork buns, getting lost in books, cheeky beers, new stationary, earl grey tea, midnight maccas runs, people who are unapologetically themselves. (Don't worry I write music electronically, so you won't have to listen to my B grade playing haha). Not too fussed about: country music. I'm looking for a homely, relaxed place to live and make some quality friends, so if you think I'd suit your vibe, please let me know ;)
Hello, guys and girls. We are a young couple in our mid 20's moving over from New Zealand. Bill has been a self employed builder for the last 8 years in NZ and looking at branching out in to the world of project management. Libby is in marketing, she is extremely creative and loves the challenges it can bring. We are both very outgoing and don't like sitting around too much... although you can't beat a trashy movie with wine and a cheese board on the odd Saturday night. We have a very loving dog, Jack, who we will be bringing with us. He is a doberman and is great with people (kids and adults alike), cats, dogs - the lot! A lover to his very core! Other than walking our hound and exploring, we enjoy taking the motorbike out, getting to the gym regularly, good drinks and delicious food (we try to be healthy) and cutting shapes until the sun comes ups. The flights are booked and we are landing Australia side on the 30th of March. Ideally we would love to have a place lined up and locked in - ready to hit the ground running. We are very tidy and considerate people and we are very much looking forward to meeting new people and getting this adventure going.
I am 21 and have recently moved to Melbourne, I'm looking to move out of where I am living now. I currently work in traffic control and at a bar. I'm friendly and clean, like to socialise and make friends but also relax and binge watch tv series.
G’day everyone, our names are Joel and Alex. The two of us met at Queen’s College and lived there for two years together between 2014-2015. We have both just graduated from our undergraduate degrees, with Alex being recently employed in a full-time urban consulting position and Joel commencing his Masters in Civil Engineering in March. We are both fun loving guys with a great sense of humour, however we are leaving the majority of our party days at college and out of the house. We both lead busy lives but would love to have a nice place to come home to and relax. We are both tidy, clean and organised. Alex’ ideal night is a bottle of cheap red and equally cheap cheese and bickies, whilst Joel's would be having a few beers over a BBQ and watching the cricket. Joel is a down to earth country boy in the big city where as Alex is from the surf coast yet has not touched a surf board in his life. Together we are a great laugh and would happily fit into the existing dynamics of a share house or a team up. We are looking for 2 individual rooms and can afford to pay a max of 250 per week max. As far as length of lease we can range from anywhere between 6-8 months, so perfect for anyone’s house who has friends going overseas, traveling for work or on exchange. Shoot me (Alex) a message if you’re interested in having 2 fun guys fill your rooms. PS. We also come with furniture and appliances (TV, slow cooker, playstation etc.) if need be.
Hi, my name is Christiane. I'm a 27 year old trainee solicitor. I'm usually busy with work or my side hustle - writing and poetry - so I will stay out of your hair. That said, I'm not about hiding in my room either. I enjoy reading and tv - crime and animation particularly. I am trying to become a gym person but to be honest, I prefer being out in nature to exercise. I love traveling and art and opera and appreciate people who are reasonably clean - but I wouldn't stress if the place wasn't clean here or there. I have made a lifestyle change to quit drinking although it's not a blanket ban. I'll never say never. I smoke occasionally but am in the process of quitting and would not smoke near the house if my housemate was averse to it. I appreciate intelligence and nerds particularly as I am a closet nerd. Plus, I'm an INFP/ENFP if you know what that means then good for you :) I am open to living with people of any sexual or religious or other affiliation. All I ask is kindness and calm. I am social but in my books, my home is my sanctuary.
Hi my name is Laura, I am a 24yo looking for a large room in the Caulfield North, Malvern East, Prahran, South Yarra areas I am easygoing, tidy, have a great sense of humour, and a non smoker. I love to socialise, go to the gym, watch movies, go out for dinner/ brunch, have wine with friends I'm looking to move out before the 28th of Feb Parking is important
Hello! I'm about to go back to studying full time and would love to move out somewhere a bit closer to uni, preferably in the Richmond area. I'm a pretty relaxed gal and love spending time with other people, but I also love a bit of quieter time now and then. I'm pretty clean and tidy but also not obsessive. I'm also pretty handy in the kitchen and enjoy sharing meals so would love to find someone else a bit social who is keen to not just have a housemate but also someone they can spend a bit of time doing fun things with!
Canadian teacher whose been in Melbourne for six months already! I'm into yoga, hiking and books. Super easy going and sociable, always down for a cup of tea/cider after work. Also I'll do my dishes, this I promise you :)
Hi, I'm Julie, coming to Melbourne from France in order to study Mechanical Engineering at Swinburne as an exchange student, and I would like to find somewhere to call home :) I will be studying at Swinburne's Hawthorn campus so I'm looking for a room near Lilydale or Alamein railway line, or tram line 16,70 or 75, or bus route 624 or even better within walking distance from the campus ! I'm 19 going 20 and I would like to find flatmates about the same age (let's say preferably from 18 to 25 but I'm not very rigid about it). I'm quiet but social and I would like to share time with my flatmates (share meals, enjoy movies, have a cup of tea ... :P) I'm considerate of people's privacy and I clean up after myself. I like to study in common spaces (living room, kitchen ...) so I can see people passing by while studying :P. I do not need a lot of personal space : a small room would do it for me. I do not smoke nor drink. Cheers !
I am the ultraclean kind. Also, I enjoy alone time as well as casual chilling times with roomies. I know how to respect people space and peace. I am from Canada, soooo real polite :p just kiding. I am laid back, and a student, so not so stress in general.
I'm a easy going, fun-loving guy. I'm currently work full-time in a corporate professional environment (I.T Professional). I'm originally from Mount Waverley and currently renting in South Melbourne. I like to stay fit and hit the gym most week days and on the weekends I like to chill with friends.
Work full-time, currently living in an apparent by myself, getting a bit sick of it, lease is going month to month so I can move anytime. Good rental history, already own sofa, fridge, chairs, washing machine, coffee table, tv and a bed. I can sell these if they're not needed. I play guitar and sing every day but I am always considerate of others about times about level of noise. I play footy over winter, love watching live music and like a good drink every now and then.
Hi there! I'm an outgoing American, who works in a cafe full time and is planning on being in the city until December. I'm looking to live in a laid back place with a social roomie or two. I love going to the cinema, going for hikes/adventures on days off and a nice glass of wine or two! I love a good chat, but enjoy my personal space as well. Hoping to find a place asap!
I am respectful and I am tidy. I usually clean up after myself. I am not ocd. I work in the hospitality industry in the city. Therefore I am usually at work. I like to keep to myself mostly and occasionally like to have some good chats over home cooked meal and wine. I like also watch lots of tv shows and movies. I have a netflix account. I like pets but I do not own one. I enjoy going for coffee, brunches and checking out new cafes or bars. Please message me as I am looking to move out by the first week of February and ps: I also have an Nespresso machine if you love your caffeine. :)
Hi Everyone! My name's Philippa. I'm 26 and work as a kindergarten teacher. I'm also studying a masters of teaching. I'm really clean but also chill. I'm super friendly and love having a chat. Cooking is my hobby and I like trying new things. I'm looking for a share house or flat with an outdoor space. Would ideally like to live with someone who doesn't mind having a chat after work (aka someone who doesn't hide in their room). I love St Kilda/Elwood and the beach so someone who likes to explore and be social would be great. I have a gorgeous staffy. He's an indoor dog and if there's concern about him being alone at home during the day I've got many offers to dog sit him :) Hit me up if you think I'd fit in at your place or if you're keen to start up a share house!
I'm an American here for work and holiday. Ive been living and working in Seoul for the better part of the last 4 years. So although I don't currently have a job here yet, I have some decent money in the bank. I have loads of hobbies and interests including music, cooking, tennis, exercising often, books, films, games and the like. Like to live a healthy lifestyle while staying busy creatively and athletically. Love hanging out and having drinks here and there as well. Very open minded, easy to get along with, amicable and unobtrusive.
After working for a major retailer in a graduate role for the last 2 years I will be relocating to our head office in Melbourne in mid Feb. Exploring all options in terms of length of stay at this stage so I can get settled in for work ASAP. I'm sociable, I love to travel and eat, and like to get out and about. I will be at work or exploring my new city most of the time.
Hello! I have just moved over from London Uk to Melbourne on a working holiday visa and looking for a place to set up home. I work in media and have set up a few interviews for my arrival. As I'm new to the country it would be great to meet a nice bunch of people however i do also have various friends scattered around Melbourne so I won't be too reliant on my housemates! Working in media means I can be busy of a week night but enjoy nights in front of the TV when I can.
Hi there! I'm looking for a room in a modern house/apartment in either Clifton Hill, Fitzroy North, Collingwood, Abbotsford or Northcote. I'm a full-time professional working in the public sector. My hours are typically 9 - 5 but I'm usually out after work either training or at the gym. I’m available to move in from 21 January onwards. Please message me if you have a room in these suburbs that you think I might be interested in! I can provide references upon request. Thanks :)

In my spare time I enjoy reading tech blogs, skateboarding, start-ups, Big Bash cricket (carn the Stars!) and the occasional Netflix binge. I'm currently looking to find a relaxed space to share with some friendly people before the end of February (as I'll be visiting Japan for a fortnight mid March). I'm looking to stay long term (>6 months), and am happy to put my name on the lease if needed. I'm share-house trained, clean, respectful, timely with bills and LGBTQ friendly. I'm looking for flatmates who are approachable and enjoy sharing a few drinks over dinner now and then, but understand that everyone needs their own space from time to time. Ideally I'm looking for a home more than a house, and enjoy being social with my flatmates.
Hey! My two friends and I are shifting to Melbourne from India. We are going to study in Deakin University and are currently on the lookout for apartments/houses for us. We will be in Melbourne by 14th Feb. Please connect with me if you have any listing that would suit us. All the best :D
Hi There, I'm looking for people who are looking to team up to create a home in the inner suburbs (Richmond preferably) About me, I am a clean individual who enjoys a glass of wine and good food at the end of the day. I work full time & own a business so i'm kept fairly busy. I used to be a chef many moons ago so I do like having my home as a sanctuary for good food and did I mention wine? My cat (Leo) is an affectionate little bundle of energy who is well trained. Anyhoo if you are after the same things get in touch.
Easygoing, tidy, respectful and some people would even consider me friendly. Work in retail, enjoy an occasional beer. If you think you would get along with me, hit me up! Looking for anything in/near Fitzroy, since I'm already in love with the area. Hit me up! Cheerio
I am originally from uk. Been in Melbourne 3 years now. I work in city and also study so this keeps me pretty busy. Looking for somewhere to call home. While I am sociable I am not looking for a party house but do enjoy the odd glass of wine or two with housemates. I am very reliable with rent and bills and can provide references to back this up.
I've lived with a lot of housemates over the years at my place in Carlton but am now looking to change it up a bit and move a bit further north or something quieter in the area. I work quite a bit and volunteer at 3RRR as a radio broadcaster. I work as a strategy manager for a branding firm, we do a lot of food and beverage stuff so potentially free drinks on me? I watch a lot of movies, like to exercise and travel around when I can. I grew up in New York but have been in Aus since 2006.
I moved to Melbourne 8 years ago from NSW. I'm looking for a housemate who's tidy in the common areas and is open to sharing some food a couple of nights a week. I love to cook, particularly for other people. I'm clean and tidy, but not a perfectionist. I respect the common areas and try not to hog too much space. For fun I cook, cycle and rock climb (mostly indoors). I work full time for a software company and will be starting a Masters degree this year, so probably won't be around the house a lot. I have a girlfriend and I typically stay at her house a couple of nights a week, and she'll stay with me a couple of nights a week, but we're both conscious of not taking up more space than we should. I've indicated moving in on 26th of Feb, but this is flexible. That's the date I arrive back from Europe and I can stay with sister or girlfriend until I find the right place. Alternatively, I'm happy to start paying rent a bit earlier to lock in a good place. I leave on the 3rd of Melbourne, so ideally I could meet a potential flatmate before I leave so I have somewhere to return to. Currently I live with my sister and a couple of others. I can bring some furniture to the house if necessary, but I expect I'll just let my sister have it all.
Hi, I'm a full-time philosophy student from Tasmania, relocating to Melbourne this year. I've lived in a couple of share houses over the past few years, and I am a reliable and considerate roommate. My interests are fairly lowkey (my studies, other reading, hiking and running), so I value a clean, quiet, and amicable home environment. Always up for a good conversation or a trip for fresh veg.
