I'm a student at Monash Collage, learning english there, i think I'm a nice person , easy to talked to with and I am helpful person. And right now I'm looking for a place to live in Melbourne.
I’m currently a student, pursuing my Masters from University of Melbourne. I am an international student from India, and am in my first semester here. I can assure about my decency and conduct, and my easy going nature would not in anyway ruin things between me and my flatmates. I spend most of my time studying, and then may be listening to songs or watching something on my laptop. Open to chilling out on weekends or exploring the city, given that time permits.
Hey there, my name is Natacha! I am an RMIT student, studying the Master of Writing and Publishing! I'm looking for a room to stay in a sharehouse/apartment with a female housemate(s). Not a requirement; but it would also be nice if I could live with someone who is also working or studying :) Ideally, I would like a place with natural sunlight and near public transportation. I'd also like to be situated somewhere long-term! A little bit about myself; I was born in Toronto, Canada. I've studied in Melbourne for almost 4 years, and I'm happily returning in the coming months! I am a sushi and coffee lover, not necessarily together. I enjoy socialising, however, also value my 'me-time' and the space that we will share as housemates! Having previously lived with a number of housemates, I am quite familiar with living in shared accommodations. If you have any other questions regarding myself, please ask away! I'd be happy to answer any curiosities you may have! Cheers! Natacha x Note: Ideally, I'd like my rent to budget at $300 (including bills), but I am happy to discuss further! I am also flexible with the move in date :)
I love music, swimming and cocktail-making! I work in hospitality. I am from a village just outside of London, England. I am looking for somewhere affordable to stay in Melbourne on my working holiday.
Hello! I'm Katie, I'm 25 years old and originally from Sydney. I am moving down to Melbourne to study at the end of May. I am very easy going and sociable. I love meeting new people and exploring new places. I enjoy travelling, staying healthy, hanging out with friends, going to the pub, wine & cheese, going to the beach and watching the sunset! I am tidy, trustworthy and respect other peoples space. I'm looking for some friendly and easy going housemates :)
I am a happy-go-lucky calm and friendly guy who easily gets along with people from all walks of life. Career wise, I am a part-time research scientist - who will be returning to study at Melbourne University for continued professional development this year. Personally, I am a mature, responsible, well-educated adult, organised, kind and helpful. Single, non-smoker, social drinker, meticulously clean, with no pets - always ready to help out with the cleaning and chores - living in a neat and clean environment is a must for me. On weekends, I like cooking wonderful meals, playing tennis and socialising with family and friends. I look forward to living with like-minded people who are sociable, while being respectful of other's space, privacy and independence. I like to make the place I live in into a homely and social environment - rather than just living as a border or room hermit. I look forward to hearing from potential housemates ASAP Cheers, Tony.
Hey! I am an open-minded, sociable and clean person who likes to travel, get to know new things or just have a good conversation. I'm from Germany and in Australia for 5 months to work full time as an engineer. Beside that I want to get to know the country, the people and the language. Therefore, I am looking for accommodation with roommates who are enthusiastic about life and like to do something together.
Hello :) My name is Carla, I am 27 and I am from Spain. I just moved to Melbourne and I am looking for a room. I've been sharing houses and having roommates since I was 18. I am very respectful with flatmates, tidy and clean. I love doing outdoor activities and going out with friends.
Hi my name is Lucy. I am a full-time law student and I work part-time as a Paralegal in a Construction Law firm. I'm also a volunteer at the Trades Hall helping young people with employment law issues. I am friendly, very punctual, reliable and considerate, for example, I am extremely well practiced in the art of closing doors and cupboards quietly! I enjoy dragon-boat racing, chess (all board games in fact) and debating. I am looking for two key criteria. Close to public transport and a big enough room. In addition, I am looking for a friendly home that is a good fit. I love to have a laugh and I deeply enjoy intellectual conversations and value the sharing of knowledge. However, I am reasonably busy and therefore, happy to also live my own independent life. I am looking for flat/house share either in, or just outside of the Melbourne CBD, such as Docklands, or Kilda Road. I would happily live in just about any suburb (within thirty minutes of the city) as long as the place is close to a train station (within a five minutes walk). I can supply a fridge, a (small but new) washing-machine and cooking equipment for the house. I am looking for an unfurnished room (unless of course, your bed and mattress is of a better quality than the Queen size bed I own already). Although I do not drink, smoke or watch television but I am totally open to you enjoying these things. The only thing that really bothers me is the aroma of incense. I am afraid I have an antipathy towards it. I rarely use the kitchen to prepare food as I mostly eat out or eat microwaveable meals. I mainly use the kitchen for making instant coffee, which you are most welcome to share. I am happy to contribute to my share of the chores and I'd would be even happier to put in for a cleaner! In addition, I am looking for a room with the following features: -A window that opens with natural light -Can accommodate a large desk and a queen size bed. -Access to fast, unlimited internet (does not have to be included in the price) -I must be able to pay the bond to the RTBA -The room must be an actual room (not partitioned) with a door, and not sharing with others in the same room. -I do not wish to use communal laundry shared between apartments. Happy for us to both use my washing machine if you have somewhere to install it. -Neighbours who are not regularly raucous and disruptive. * Please note that $300 is the maximum amount of weekly rent I wish to pay and a higher rent price is non-negotiable (not inclusive of bills and internet). My move date is flexible. Many thanks, Lucy
I've just moved down here from Brisbane for work. I'm pretty laid back and easy going. I love food and cooking and am excited to explore Melbourne. It would be great to live with someone I can have a drink with now and then but I also like doing my own thing and will be travelling for work a fair bit.
Hi! I'm a pretty easy going french Canadian from Montreal, Quebec! I'm coming soon to Melbourne (May 24th), being relocated in your beautiful city for a short contract of 8 months. I will be working full time in the Visual Effects industry and will love to buy a small camper van, take the weekend off from time to time and explore the area! I'm a beach bum that loves surfing and would like to learn snowboarding as well! (I know it's odd, a surfer Canadian that doesn't know how to snowboard) Hit me if you wanna know more :-)
I work in IT for a health insurance company as I love working in Tech but also to fund my overseas travel as I always have my next trip booked. I was born in South Africa but spent my teens growing up in the eastern suburbs in Melb and have spent the past year living in Port Melbourne. I love new experiences, people and places but also like my down time with friends or to myself. I'm looking for a nice room to live in that's close to the city for my work and a space that I can have to myself but can also share with others.
Hi there! I am a friendly, easy going, clean and organised person. I am looking for a Furnished Private room in the city of Melbourne. I am flexible in term of length of stay: short stay (min 3 months) or long stay (up to 3 years) I also have an adorable cat named "Oz" that I adopted 6 months ago. So, hoping to find a pet friendly place.
FIFO worker, roster is 3 weeks at work 1 week at home. New to melbourne, looking for a chilled out social flat where i can meet new people preferably. I'm very chilled out, not alot ever really bothers me. I'm into anything fitness and outdoors. Dog lover. I travel alot on my week off so it's very likely that I wouldn't be home much. Prefer a place with off street parking so my vehicles safe while I'm away at work.
I grew up in northern rural Victoria and now lived in Melbourne since finishing school. I graduated from Monash in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science and currently seeking my first big break out of the part time uni job into something more concrete. I’m looking for a place to call home for at least the next year or two. As I’m not fully independent yet I will not commit to a place until I have a steady reliable income, fingers crossed sooner rather than later. Looking for a place close to PT and near shops as I have will not have a car for at least the initial duration of my stay. I’m very clean and tidy, super conversational and open-minded. I eat a plant based diet and live quite minimalistically. Most of all I’m looking for a home, a place where I can feel at peace and be surrounded by wonderful people with the occasional beverage and banter. Cheers
Hey! I’m Shannon, a nurse from England, here for the next few years at least. I work at Peter Mac (next to royal Melbourne). I’m really chilled and easy going, get along with anyone. I work different shifts each week, always up for drinks/dinner/chat when free but also respectful of everyone’s personal space and schedules. I can clean up after myself, pay rent on time and contribute to the household. If I’m not at work I like to keep busy! There’s so much of Melbourne I still haven’t seen so always up for finding and exploring those hidden gems, I love going to gigs and having a good dance. Still figuring out footy but enjoy going to games of that and rugby, also trying to get back into playing netball again when I settle in somewhere! Love planning day/weekend trips. Excellent addition to a pub quiz, can answer most of your health worries no matter how weird and wonderful. Very guilty of a Netflix duvet day or chilled night in 🙌🏻. Really looking for somewhere I can settle and get on with housemates. If you think I’d be a good fit for your place, give me a message! Feel free to ask anything! Thanks! 😊
