Looking for a new place to stay starting around mid-august. About me: French Canadian law student from McGill Uni. I’m responsible, organized, and respectful of people’s space. Having been a counsellor for a while, I don’t shy away from real talks and good connections. I also like to go out and dance from time to time. I have already settled into a social life here, so you don't have to take care of me, while I'm obviously interested in the house life! Oh, and I like biking and volleyball. Kind of household: I am quite sociable and I hope to spend some time with my new roommates. However, I kinda like/need my sleep and privacy, so I don’t think a busy or party house would be the best fit. Animals = sure. People around my age = yas. Quick witted spirits = damn right. Gardening extraordinaires = yes please. Hit me up!
I'm a Brazilian musician/music teacher who just moved to Melbourne to take a course in Steiner Education. I love music and arts in general. Also happy to share meals and have some booze once in a while, but I need peace and privacy to keep my mind (and heart) focused on my career projects. I've been gigging with a few bands, volunteering in some cafes and restaurants to help people and gain experience in hospitality aiming at getting a job as soon as possible, but DON'T WORRY about the RENT as I have saved some money. I'm clean, tidy, reliable, and respectful! I'm looking for a place to call home and a family within!!! Shall we give it bash?
Hey there :) My name is Aaron, I'm a 22 year old male. I'm looking for somewhere new to live. Currently I reside with my parents in Hillside (Melbourne West). Prior to this I lived in Ballarat for a year under a lease contract with a few people of similar age. I work full time as an Electrician, well, almost..... (Fourth Year Apprentice). A normal working week for me is 7-3:30, Monday-Friday. I work on commercial buildings, normally in docklands or the city. I have a steady reliable income. I am generally a clean and tidy person. I pride myself on having a good work ethic, which translates to my home life AND work life. I like it when everyone shares the work load. I refuse to live with anyone who is lazy! On the flip slide, I would love to live with anyone who is like minded in their living preferences! :) I'm always up for doing my fair share of housework (including cooking). Personality wise, I'm generally fairly friendly. I try my best to get along well with everyone I meet. I can be a little quiet at times. My main hobby is music. I play acoustic guitar and I also sing, not usually too much during the week though due to time! I love going to gigs. I also like Footy and Tennis! Sometimes I play video games. My free time usually just consists of watching TV, practicing music, socialising and just generally relaxing. What I'm looking for is to live with people within my age bracket who are like minded. I'm not too fussed about what whether you work or you are a student. Personality is the main thing! As long as you are genuine and able to afford living expenses I'm happy :)
Hey there, I'm looking for a long term rental in the Hawthorn East area. I love staying active, cooking good food and have a strong passion for the environment. I've just deferred from uni as I want to start working and also launch a series of videos looking at sustainability. Other interests of mine include: surfing and the beach, chess, travel, reading, watching documentaries and sharing a drink with great people. I'm very clean and have lived in a share house before. Hopefully we can work something out! I would probably prefer to make a team-up and choose our own property but am open to existing share houses.
I am really easy going, super tidy and I am looking for somewhere I can call home rather than somewhere I'm renting. I love to meet new people and I am very approachable. I have an active healthy lifestyle and try and eat well ...... just dont put biscuits near me or thats it! Im the type of girl who'l put the kettle on when your having a bad day and listen to it all :) I like all kinds of music ...just not that heavy metal ish... and love a good car karaoke (think more smelly cat than mariah carey). I love exploring new places and enjoy a good road trip, I am looking at living with single gals ideally :) I will be looking to move to Melbs 4th august onwards from Brisbane, I have a full time job in the city as a consultant :) Please note- Only interested in living with females Not interested in sharing with a couple Not interested in sharing a room Not interested in student housing Thank you :)
Hi all, I’m an accountant at a small firm in Malvern and am looking at moving as close to work as possible as I am currently commuting from Berwick. I have lived in both share housing and a studio apartment in the past. I pay my rent on time and keep thing tidy. I’m pretty busy at the moment as in addition to working full time I am completing my CA qualification. When I get a spare moment I generally head to the gym or just relax watching tv/ movies (don’t mind a drink now and again too). I’m happy to come and inspect properties and get to know people either after work on Mondays & Wednesdays or on a weekend, whatever suits best.
Hey! My Name's Nathan and I'm looking to move from my current place in St Kilda into the eastern suburbs area. I spend a large majority of my time here, and the constant travel from St Kilda is beginning to wear a little thin! Also, as I have been living alone lately, moving into a sharehouse is exciting as i miss living with awesome people having awesome fun! I currently work full time at Bunnings (yes I can get us cheap stuff for the house haha) and when i'm not at work I'm either with my amazing girlfriend, chilling on the PS4, religiously watching NBA or out on my bike.....or at the pub! I've lived in Melbourne for over 3 years after moving down from Wollongong, and I absolutely love this city. My ideal house would include a fun, chilled atmosphere where everyone gets along. The kind of place where you can come home from work, crack a beer and relax with everyone else.
We are a laid back couple originally from the UK who have been travelling around all of Asia for the past 3/4 months and are hoping to stay in the Melbourne area for 6-9 months to increase our travel funds with our working holiday visa! I was working as a bartender for over a year to start my travel funds. However, I predominantly have a background in Psychology and have recently just got back from working in Sri Lanka for three months running therapy sessions in local psychiatric hospitals, while my boyfriend was a manager of a local bar/pub. We enjoy cooking (we are big foodies!), having a casual drink, scuba diving and travelling (obviously!). We are a clean, friendly and sociable couple but are not party animals by any means and still enjoy our quiet time. We are open minded people who love to learn about new cultures and enjoy making friends from all over the world.
Hi! We're a couple who are new to Melbourne. We're hoping to find a room to share for 2-3 months while we get settled. I'm studying winemaking while also working in wine retail. Oliver is studying software engineering and is a bartender at a music venue. We've both lived in share houses for 9-10 years so we're very well house-trained. We're clean, tidy and never have any trouble paying bills on time. We're equally happy to hang out with housemates or do our own thing. We're not party animals - we're much more into enjoying good food and wine than getting rowdy. I have a lot of diverse interests - cooking, sport (especially cricket), cinema (especially foreign and independent films), music, camping and hiking, history, learning new languages, etc. I'm a bit of a trivia buff and will never say no to a pub trivia night. I'm also very open to meeting new people and trying new things. Oliver's into sports (particularly cricket and AFL), fitness, music, web dev and puppies.
So a little bit about myself , I moved here permanently over two years ago from Ireland , I was living in brisbane for eight months when I came out and been down here in Melbourne since ,working full time mon-Friday day shift and the occasional weekend too ,I'm a social very easy going ,respectful and well house trained lad ,as for activities going to the gym or a jog after work ,and going hiking camping and going on the occasional road trip most weekends ,Love to watch a good movie or doco when I get the chance ,I'm a massive Attenborough fan and as for game of thrones I can't get enough of it ,if I sound like your new house mate drop me a line and we can meet up for a beer or a coffee over a convo . Thanks Joe ✌️
Hello! So, you’ve got a room and need it filled… Look no further because I'm your solution! Why me you may ask? Well let me summarise: - Student; although I can be quiet and studious, I am quite sociable! Good times guaranteed! - Avid Cook; who doesn’t like a flatmate who can actually cook restaurant quality food?? I like decent wine too haha :D - Thrilling Chatterbox; when it comes to topics, I’m a jack-of-all-trades and master of none – all chats are fair game :) - Clean, tidy, considerate, friendly, no pets, non-smoker, not a major party animal; yawn, the usual… - Financially sound; A student who is financially sound??? Yes please! Rent is always paid on time without fuss :) did I mention I also work part time in the city??? - Local citizen; no visas or any restrictions here! 100% Aussie born n’ bred so I’m deffs looking for long term (i.e. til the end of the year). Obviously I’m just the perfect flatmate that you’ve been looking for (oh, I've got experience living away from home too!) . Hit me up and I’m sure we can smooth out a few things. Optimally, I’d be looking to rent a room or team up in Hawthorn/South Yarra/Toorak with people who are relatively like-minded :) Fairly flexible with the move in date :) Cheerio and I know you'll make the right decision XD, Kameron
- 23 year old Software Developer working in Camberwell - Social and actually around the house - Clean and always pay rent/bills on time - Happy to stay a long term if the fit is right - Carlton tragic - As the job suggests I spend a it of time online (I hope you like bad puns, and hilarious memes) - Beer and Scotch kind of a guy. (so if you break something this is the best way to break the news) - Currently living solo so I have (most of) the furniture and appliances needed to start up a new place with like minded people, however I can find somewhere else for it if you just have a room for me! What I'm looking for: - Close to public transport - Social and friendly room mate/s. Pretty flexible and easy going, If you think we'd get a long send me a message and we could grab a coffee and have a chat! Note: My current lease finishes towards the end of September but if the right opportunity comes up sooner I can move a little earlier. Happy to team up with the right people too.
I work in the film industry as a graphic designer. I enjoy seeing a good film, attending the occasional life drawing class, annoying cats, and hanging out with good people.
I am a friendly, easy going, positive, clean, tidy and respectful housemate and tenant. I am happy to have a chat over a meal or tv show or to respect your personal space and privacy if you like to keep to yourself. I am a vegetarian, animal lover and LGBTQI+ ally. I keep busy most of the week with study, work and exploring all Melbourne has to offer. I will need to be walking distance to a train station and will need a house with pre-existing appliances such as a washing machine and fridge. My hobbies include playing and listening to music, going to music concerts, watching tennis, reading, cooking, travel, watching film, going to art galleries and museums, going out, hanging out with friends, exercising/team sports, crafts and trying new things. I have spent the past 4 or so years renting with others so I have lots of experience. I would like not only a house but a home and if living with others would like to form friendships. :) Please get in touch if you think you have the place for me! Cheers.
I am looking for a spacious room to rent for myself and my little rat dog! I work full time in Richmond from Monday to Friday and enjoy relaxing on the weekends. I have a two year old staffy named Cleo (aka rat dog, sausage, clink) who loves nothing more than a good belly rub and car rides. She is very well behaved, house trained and is the best friend anyone could ask for! Give her a pat or throw her ball and you have a friend for life. She is happy to stay outdoors however, I do like to bring her inside of a night - hogs the bed but she is great for cuddles. A little about myself, I enjoy the little things in life such as sunshine, netflix, breakfast food and having a good old laugh. I don't party very often anymore however, I do enjoy the occasional beer whilst watching the footy or a social gathering. I have only lived in Melbourne since Nov 2015 so I don't know too many people or places. Most weekends (when the weather is nice) I like to go for drives and check out Melbourne. Having a nice park nearby would be a great bonus! I am a very clean, tidy housemate who understands the importance of respecting other peoples belongings and space - I promise I wont eat your food, especially your chocolate and ice cream! I have lived with friends in the past however, I have never lived with strangers so I am hoping this experience will allow me to meet new friends in Melbourne. Thanks for having a read and please feel free to contact me at anytime to meet up and get to know me :)

I am very neat and responsible, friendly, love dogs (don't mind cats), don't mind doing chores around the house. I don't smoke nor drink.
Hi I'm Kellie, I'm newly single and looking for a place to call home. I'm really easy going, personable and always up for a wine or a cup of tea if it's going. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of personal space. I work in Finance for a Fashion house in Carlton so would like to find somewhere preferably North side. I like to keep it pretty quiet and routine during the week but on weekends I'm usually out and about or at home chilling. I like music, sport, dancing, wine, fashion, cooking and lots of laughs. Cheers Kellie
I'm doing a PhD in physics at the University of Melbourne. Australia is a very generous country so they decided to give me a salary/scholarship, which means that I can always pay my rent and bills in time, without having to rob any Woolies. In my spare time I like to do sports (running, swimming, yoga, soccer etc), annoy people around me playing my guitar, read books and travel as much as I can even if that just means going for on an adventure to the nearby pub. This is my 5th year living abroad in shared houses, before coming to Melbourne I lived in Ireland and Canada, so I am an international expert in the art of sharing a house. I value a lot the relationship with my housemates, so I'm looking for a bunch of people I can feel comfortable with, inside and outside the house, sharing dinners, drinks, lazy afternoons and any random moment life brings about. Luckily I also know how to respect others' privacy so I promise I won't follow you inside the bathroom. Living in a clean house is fundamental for me, so I hereby solemnly commit to put my efforts in keeping the place tidy and neat, and cleaning regularly.
Since I work full-time, have projects and like being out, I'm not in the house too much. Got my cat, Mackerel, who's a brilliant soul and is pretty warm and respectful. Though, I am polyamorous, so future flatmates definitely need to be kind of open-minded and open to discussing things their uncomfortable or happy with. Pretty chill and low key and when I'm home, it's usually for down time, so I'm pretty respectful of space. Just looking for a kind of short term place for a few months -- unless the situation turns out to be great!
We like to stay clean and help out our fellow flatmates and friends on every occasion possible. Prefer to cook at home, preferably vegetarian food, but no fuss. We love music and pretty much all forms of art. We like to paint and do crafty things when the time permits it. Hope to find a cosy room and friendly flatmates to chill with from time to time.
