Hey guys, Looking for a place for me and my fat, cuddly cat called Trips. I'll be moving to Melbourne from Brisbane around mid-July to start my Masters of International Sustainable Tourism Management at Monash (Caulfield campus) so move-in date would be anytime between 10th and 20th of July. I'm super laid back and sociable, but can also really enjoy my personal time. I'm an Indonesian-Australian who grew up in France/Switzerland and love meeting people from all over. Looking for housemates that enjoy sharing a meal, a beer or a glass of wine (or three) from time to time and who can spark up interesting conversation! I'll be new to the area, so would definitely appreciate someone willing to explore Melbourne a bit with me. Bonus points if you're a fan of furry creatures and would be happy to give Trips a cuddle/feed if I'm home late from work or uni. Not overly stressed about cleaning, but do enjoy to see and keep common areas tidy and cosy! Also looking for a room that's furnished with a bed and a wardrobe as I'll just be coming with a couple of suitcases. Send me a message if you think we'd get along! X
Hi. We are Angela & Fernando. We are a couple from Bogotá, Colombia and we are looking for a cozy place to live. Angela – I am Civil Engineer and I am studying an MBA at Monash University. Fernando – I studied Finance and I am going to study English at Impact College to improve my language skills and then enter to a post-graduation course. We are a good couple to live with. We are easy-going, open-minded and very good-tempered. We both like sports, movies, dancing, share a good meal and chat.
Hello potential future roommate! I'm in need for a place to live ASAP! I'm currently living an hour away from the city down South and looking for a place closer to the city to benefit my travelling for work. A bit about myself… I'm a Gemini who loves chocolate and tea. I graduated high school last year and chose to go on a gap year with the intention to study further in the future. I’m receiving Centrelink payments and will look for a job if I do get chosen for a room. People say I'm effortless to live with as I clean up after myself, respect the people I live with and their belongings. I also find myself confronting problems when it arises. I describe myself as a very clumsy easy outgoing person who loves company but also likes time alone. I love animals so I’m fine living with them. I love being outdoors and up for anything. At the moment, I work as a model and do singing every weekend. If you would like to know more about me or suit to what you are looking for feel free to message me.
Hi, I'm Aidz, 30 y/o, from the Philippines! I'll be taking Masters in Design full-time at Monash (Caulfield) this coming July and I'll be arriving in Melbourne on June 26. I'm a photographer and a graphic designer so that makes me an artistic person, I'm very much into music as well, I play the guitar (but I'm not bringing one, unfortunately) and can sing decently, I like searching and listening to new indie artists/bands, but the majority on my playlist are very old school. I also love playing video games, NBA 2K or FIFA anyone?? I'm a bit of a geek and I quite know my way around techy stuff. I also love to cook so I can make some meals whenever I have time. I'm usually content being a homebody, but I sure love to go outside once in a while! So, show me around when I get there? Since it's my first time to live alone and in a different country, I'm not just looking for roommates but also (hopefully) lifelong friends that I can treat and also treat me as "family". My mom is an OC when it comes to cleanliness, hygiene and keeping things in their proper place, so somehow I picked that up from her, but don't worry, I'm not very imposing like her haha! I highly value my privacy and takes care very well of my possessions, so you can expect me to do the same for you. I drink, but not too much (those days are over haha!) I'm fun to be around and can get loud and crazy at times, but I intend to do very well on my studies so I can assure you that I'll be quiet most of the time. Anyway, if you think we get along very well, I'd really appreciate hearing from you!
I'd rather live in a home than an apartment with my children. Something new, or very clean and well maintained with a pool and an outdoor area would be perfect. I'm hoping I can find someone who may be seeking the same who may have children part time, or alternatively, someone who'd like a low maintenance house mate for company as opposed to living on their own! I have two happy children, aged 9 and 10, who do activities with myself most nights after school. The children spend every second weekend and every Thursday night with their Father. On weekends, we do sport from early Saturday morning until late afternoon and on Sunday we spend at least half the day doing sport also. My focus is currently study. I study most days after dropping my children to school. I'm also training to run the Sydney City to Surf and train most days or every other day in between. I hope to gain full time employment in a Senior Digital Marketing / Strategic planning type role in the next 6 - 12 months. I love to cook. I'm a home maker. I enjoy things being clean and in order. I think we're easy going and fun to live with! We cook dinner at home 5 out of 7 nights and would be happy to cook for you too. Enjoy a glass of wine a couple of nights a week at home and on occasion head out to dinner. I generally put my children to bed 7:30 - 8:00pm to read, with lights out at 8:30pm - latest! I enjoy time on my own post children and otherwise like to be in bed most nights before 10pm. I'd be happy to secure a lease with the right person / people for 12 months or longer. I'm highly allergic to animal hair - so if you have pets, or intend to have one your next living arrangement, please don't apply to live with us!
We're tidy, we tend to keep to ourselves but also like a good chat with the housemates we live with, we like to garden and grow our own food, Gavin likes to do things around the house which makes him a good handy man anywhere, we're both pretty easy to get along with. I volunteer with animals at the RSPCA in Burwood East, and soon to be volunteering once a week with the Salvation Army in helping the homeless through night watch. We're both a bit quirky and love creating things, I paint and draw, and gavin creates things out of anything he gets his hands on. gavin is studying horticulture and works in gardening on his extra days. We do eat more towards a vegan diet, (we don't mind if you don't). (We are looking for a large bedroom)
Hola! Singaporean pilot based at Moorabbin Airport, looking for a furnished room starting 1st June 2017. Able to commit to a room for 3 months firm, and request an option to extend thereafter on a monthly basis. Family man, so...definitely house-trained :p Happy to do my share of the household chores. Non-smoker, mature, sociable, tidy and helpful. I value my privacy and will respect yours in return. Low-maintenance - either out for work / recreation or hibernating in my cave, emerging now and then for a chat (preferably over food and/or drinks!) My main interests are: aviation (pretty obvious, that!), classic and sporty cars, current affairs, reading, film, classical and light jazz music, soccer and long walks. Also, sight-seeing in the world's Most Liveable City. Character references are available upon request. Thanks for reading :-)

Hello I'm Kei from the Philippines. I'll be studying in Monash U as PhD student. I will move to Australia with my partner and our two-yr old daughter. We are looking for a room or house to rent preferably near my university and with bills included in the maximum budget indicated. We're friendly and warm and would like to find flatmates that are welcoming and respect one's privacy. My partner loves to cook and we're willing to share whatever dish he cooked. We love to watch films and to travel.
Hey! I'm Liv. I'm currently working and about to start studying. I moved to Melbourne about 2 months ago from Tamworth, NSW. I'm super chilled, I cook, I clean and I can provide quality banter. I don't drive so I'm preferably looking for somewhere close to public transport. Don't be a stranger :)
Clean and super easy going, respectful but enjoy living with housemates who are keen to enjoy a few drinks on the weekend.
Hi! I'm moving down to Melbourne from Darwin (originally from Perth) and will be working at the University of Melbourne. So i'm happy to live within a 12km radius around Uni Melbourne or the CBD. I am a veterinarian specialising in Animal Welfare, and an am awesome person to hang out with. Love intelligent conversations over quality wine (don't do quantity). I have a weird sense of humour. I do yoga, gym and try to keep fit as much as possible. Love classical music and would also invite you to my favourite concertos or operas. I also sing in a choir and will probably start looking for one when I head down to Melbourne. Comes with two lovely pets, a white cat (Casper) and a small Japanese spitz (Shippo) dog. They are the cutest thing you ever seen. The dog is low shedding so you wont get hair all over your furniture. Perfectly house trained by myself. I also have a 'pet' Roomba that will clean the house for you. About me: Love the minimalist style so i hate clutter. Don't play Jenga with dishes in the sink, or rubbish in the bin. I don't see housework as a chore, i see it as a form of calorie burning exercise so i get to eat sweets without feeling guilty. Am considerate to your needs because i think it's a really important factor when 2 or more people live together. Hope you will pick me as a housemate.
We are both 25 (well I will be in July), are both from the UK, and have been together for 9 years - cue the gasps of shock! We lived in London for a couple of years, after Uni, but decided now was the time to see the world. Although we haven’t got jobs in Australia as we speak, we plan to have this lined up by the time we touch ground. We are down to earth people, who are sociable, and enjoy having a busy lifestyle. From working, taking part in our hobbies, to having a drink or two or just chilling and watching films. We have both lived in shared accommodation before, so are aware of household etiquette (if that’s what it’s called?) and are pretty keen to do so again in Melbourne.
I'm a new kid on the block to Melbourne and will be looking to move into a place from the 16th July. I'm 33 and like a good balance in a flat - knowing when to be social/interactive and knowing when to enjoy having chill time. I'm clean and tidy and pretty relaxed. I like cooking, music, gardening, travel, camping - (outdoors in general!), the beach, animals and chilling out with a vino :)
Hi, I am originally from Perth, Western Australia and moved to Victoria for work mid last year to work in thoroughbred racing but have made a move back into Primary School education as a relief teacher. I am a reliable, tidy and respectful housemate, a bit of a clean freak, enjoy cooking and love animals. I have an Australian Shepherd named Rave who is a fun loving little guy who lives outside 24/7. He is very well trained and is pretty low maintenance - you literally never hear a peep out of him! Rave tends to go with me most places so we aren't home all that often. We love going for walks or trips to the beach along with our classes. He has his own instagram profile if you wanted to see his adorable cuteness for yourself: @ravetheaussieshepherd I am quite a hard working person and mostly spend my time out and about, visiting friends or training with Rave completing a number of classes during the week and attending competitions on the weekend. I am easy going, do also love my down time to watch movies or read a book. I am looking for a room with either a shared or private bathroom and somewhere safe to park my car. I simply moved over with a couple of suitcases of clothes, so a fully furnished house is ideal but happy to purchase a bed or contents for my room if required. Please contact me if you have something available around the Skye, Chelsea, Carrum Downs, Bonbeach, Patterson Lakes area. Within a 15min radius of these areas is best. Reference is available if required from my current housemate.
Im 28 years old grew up in Melbourne, but have lived overseas since I was 19, have just returned and im looking to make Melbourne my home again! Ive always paid my rent and bills in time, and tidy and respectful of everyone I have lived with. Im not looking for a party house , but for sure im up for some social beers at home and at the pub, plus I love my sport so always up for going to match’s and would for sure be up for getting involved in things with the house, I also like going to the gym a couple of times a week. My main job has been in major musicals around the world, that I have been pretty successful in, and I have one lined up starting in July in Melbourne, but im also maybe looking for more of a nine to five job after that. I have a car so need a car park or a parking permit etc. But would be up for doing shopping runs for the house! A creative house would be a bonus, but not too stressed about that. Looking for a approx 6 month ish contract, but also flexible with that. thanks and looking forward to hearing from you! Alex
I'm a 26 year old female professional worker. I am a nurse so I do shift work therefore, will need a place that is generally quiet. I love the outdoors and have an interest in health and fitness. I value time to myself and am considerate of others. I like to live in a clean and tidy house. Looking to live with one other professional, preferably female.
Thoughtful. Aesthetically Driven. Authentic. Exceedingly Passionate. I'm a drummer and composer, a drag queen, a drag king, performance artiste, and fill of a desire to breach (whilst extending) typical social interactions through aural and kinetic collaboration, feasting, and initiating obscene happenings. Thus, I am in pursuit of actualising a 3-month move to Melbourne for the Spring. After living in a student cooperative of 40 during my final year of study (philosophy at Sydney Uni), and descended from a wild family of Greeks, I can advertise myself as a brilliant vegan (!) cook, sublime hostess, and overflowing with engaging conversation. As a queer woman, I like to run a tight ship - I'm a clean minimalist with classic taste. I do, however, very much enjoy homeliness and flourishes of meaningful detail. I require: - a space that I can set up and play instruments as loud and large as drums and synthesisers during the day, and can proudly bring women to during the night. - respectful and intelligent company, hopefully queer, at least culturally apt. - reasonable rent and bills and all that horror.
Hey I'm Cris, I'm 22 and currently studying at Marketing, I'm part time 30 hours a week at a big retail company in the city. For hobbies I'm big on sport and running, I also DJ at various big clubs in the city, which is my extra cash in hand source of income. Looking for fun friendly housemates as well as a house to share!
Originally from the UK, but have lived in Melbourne for 10 years. I work full-time in the city as a Marketing and Business Development Manager at a law firm. Pretty active with sports - running, badminton, swimming, gym, pilates, yoga and barre, which I usually do after work (or in the morning if I am awake early). I currently live on Chapel Street so I am keen to stay within the area. Brunching, hiking, reading and binge watching TV are also regularly on my agenda. Always up for a glass of wine. Also - clean and tidy because that's a thing.
Very quiet person with two playful cats in tow. I work during the week and then spend my weekends writing and exercising. I am very health conciliation and like to eat organic whole food. I love yoga, barre and pilates.
