Hello!! I'm from Indonesia with Chinese background. I've self employed, running my own online shop in Indonesia while enjoying my time living in the world's most liveable city with a working holiday visa! :) I love reading and long walks. Since I have about a little more than 4 months left in Australia, I'll be working at a chocolate cafe casually, while working on my online shop, and enjoy Melbourne as much as I can. I've lived in Footscray area for the past 6 months and would love to try living in other suburbs! I enjoy exploring the city on my own and am looking forward to go on road trips for the rest of my stay in Melbourne. I also love nights in as much as nights out drinking with friends! Very excited to be back in Melbourne after going home for the holidays for a month.
I'm a really easygoing girl, usually down for anything be it a quiet night or night out! I'm from Perth and I'm relocating to Melbourne for a change! I'm working in corporate hospitality and am reasonably mature for my age - as everyone tells me! Keen on team ups or whatever's going.
Two chill guys from Costa Rica, looking for a place to live within Melbourne! Very clean, organized and easy to get a long with also great cooks! We love traveling so we'll most likely be out during most days, currently working full time.
Hi, i'm coming from Paris and i will be studying landscape design at rmit for the next 5months. I m an easy going person, respectful, clean, and i enjoy sharing, as having some privacy. Will be happy to hear from you
Hi there, I'm Shalveen born and bred in Sydney. I moved down roughly 3 years ago to undertake my childhood ambition of becoming a pilot. Since then i have completed most of my studies, my commercial pilots licence and my flight instructor rating and now work full time at my Flying School as a flight instructor teaching others how to fly. I'm very clean and can be very social, at the same time I'm also one to respect everyone's privacy. For the most part i cause very little footprint around the house as i get stuck in my playstation or some studying. I do work weekends with my day's off being Thursday and Friday. I also DJ on the weekends at some nightclubs as it is my part time hobby but I'm not a party person at all. I literally go in and do my work and leave straight away due to working Sunday mornings at the flying school. I rarely drink if ever, but more than happy to join in on social things with flatmates. I'm a pretty chill guy who respects everyones opinions and views. I'm not one to bring a party to the house or anything like that ... Happy to join in on home chores etc and i'm not one to argue. Would preferably like my flatmates to be young professionals, trustworthy and positive fun people. Thanks for reading my profile! ps: I've been getting an influx of calls since creating this ad and it feels like i'm getting spammed, please message me through here, I don't like a call unless i've seen the room - most importantly i'm looking for a room between the city and moorabbin airport and has its own ensuite or own personal bathroom.
I'm a Brazilian/German architecture student in Melbourne. Already a civil engineer with masters but decided to start it all over again studying architecture, guess there is no better way to make a great change in life than by moving to Australia. Into art, technology, history, gardening, architecture but trying to keep myself always curious about everything else. Currently not working but will probably try to find something after finding a place to stay.
My name is Mark, and I am a 28 yo mechanical engineer. I am relocating to Melbourne for work, where I have taken a new permanent position. I enjoy the outdoors – particularly cycling, camping, hiking, and water sports. I am friendly, easy going, and am always up for adventures on the weekend. I also like socializing over a beer, wine, or coffee. I have lived in shared accommodation since university, and enjoy what it offers. I will help with maintenance, cleaning, and I tidy up after myself. Looking for a minimum of 6 months, but ideally year-year arrangement. Cheers
My name is Dom, I'm 22, from the U.K and I have recently finished my postgraduate studies back home. Following backpacking around New Zealand, I am moving to Melbourne to live and work for the next few months. I am also planning to live with my lifelong friend Mitch, 23, who is also in the same situation as myself, having recently graduated and travelled around New Zealand with me. He has already started a sales job in Melbourne selling energy, so we will both be occupied with jobs during weekdays. We will definitely be wanting to unwind on the weekends however, exploring the best nightlife the city has to offer. We are both easy going laid back guys, who enjoy staying active, going to the gym, exploring new places and meeting new people. We are also tidy both around the house and in the kitchen and always clean up after ourselves. Whether we're staying in or going out, we like to do things as a house, and we're looking to live with like minded people who enjoy social environments. Having grown up in London, we are both used to the whole city life, so will fit right in!
Hi, I'm studying my Masters of Architecture at the University of Melbourne. Currently looking for a place to call home. I'm from the Gold Coast and spent a week driving down the east coast on the way to Melbourne. I'm a bit of an artist, so you can expect me to set up an easel and canvas somewhere around the place. Other than that I don't take up much room. I'm quite the nomadic character, and I've spent about a year in Nepal and India. In 2016 I was in Myanmar, Thailand and went on university related trips to Japan and India (for the second time). Looking to settle in Melbourne and focus on my studies. I'm interesting in everything, but my passion in life is art and design.
I'm a semi-workaholic who is very sociable. Pretty chilled out, lately I've been focusing on work. I've joined up as I've been home a while after spending the better part of the last 3-4 years travelling and living overseas. The type who's pretty focused most of the time (see career orientated and trying to get myself back into a regular gym routine). But not so much that I'm no fun, regularly catching up with friends and lead a pretty active social life, looking to live with people of a similar attitude but not a requirement, as long as I don't feel like I'm walking around on egg shells and feel at home, I'm happy. I've put 6 months as my preferred length of stay as I don't want to commit anyone including myself to living with anyone I don't get along, but more than happy looking for something long term.
Hello, I'm 23 and from England, I am a clean neat fitness finatic who spends a lot of time cooking and working out so a healthy lifestyle is very important to me. For work I currently work as a Sales Consultant at Mercedes Benz so will be looking to do something similar in Australia. Spent a lot of time prepping food and cooking meals for the gym so I'm a half decent chef it turns out & I am a huge fan of football (soccer) and UFC, like everyone I enjoy a couple of drinks now and again. I'm a very sociable person who will get on with anyone. I don't judge anyone on pre tense and I will get to know anyone given the chance. I'm emigrating to Melbourne 30th of March 2017, and I'm open to any potential living arrangements. Thanks, Robin ✌🏼

We would like to share with 1-2 other people, e.g. another couple.

We are Daisy (me, 27) and Lawrence (24), a couple making the move to Melbourne on 20th march. Despite being a couple, we are not attached at the hip and enjoy our different interests as well as film nights in and the odd night out in some good bars. Lawrence is in to skateboarding, juggling and good whiskey whilst I love a good book, days out in the fresh air and cooking. We're both outgoing and of a gregarious nature as well as being considerate and well-mannered. As a couple to live with, we are clean without being pedantic, enjoy cooking for friends and like our own space as much as we like socialising with flatmates. We are really in to good booze and beer too.

Pro: I was in the Air Force for a year so I really know how to clean! Neg: I can be super clumsy (recently cut my hand with a ceiling fan trying to dry washing... :/) I'm moving to Melbourne from Canberra to start a degree in communication (media) at RMIT. I've been working fulltime for the last 2 years saving for the move so I'm really keen to find somewhere awesome to live! I love travel and photography. I'm comfortable with spending time on my own but I also love to chill with friends. I'm looking for somewhere livable with easy access to RMIT. Would love a sharehouse with friendly people in their 20s.
I'm currently a student at Deakin University studying in my final year of a Bachelor of Laws degree, so will be studying quite a bit. I moved down to Melbourne from Brisbane last October after returning from a summer in Europe! I'm currently living in Windsor and although I am working full time as a restaurant manager in Fitzroy I would love to stay in this general area as I have fallen in love with it! Outside of work, I'm at the gym 5-6 days a week, I love to cook, I enjoy a good old netflix and chill session but also love to get out of the house and explore Melbourne! I love brunching and picnicking on the weekends and a drink or two along Chapel. I'm a tidy, respectfull, and easy going person. I would like to find a place with my own room, and to share the apartment with nice and friendly persons.
Hi there! My name is Sarah, and I am relocating from Adelaide in April. I'm looking to move into a fully furnished place but can furnish my own room. I'm a very easy-going person, friendly and open-minded so we will never be short of fun conversations. I'm neat and tidy with my personal spaces and have great respect for those around me. I like to cook and am more than capable of cleaning and cooking. I'm more the type of person to have someone over for dinner as opposed to being a big party person, but I do love to socialise. In regards to practical details, I'm working full-time as an Accounts Administrator but am looking at moving into HR. I look forward to hearing from you!

We are a Chilean couple traveling to Melbourne with a working holiday visa, and we are looking for a quiet place to live in. Both of us are very clean and tidy, as well as considerate, polite, respectful, calm and easygoing. We love sports and nature. We are professionals from the Humanities / Arts area. G'day! I am Bram (25 yo) from The Netherlands. My story in short: After finishing my Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering followed by a working year, I found it too obvious and not adventurous enough to continue my working career in The Netherlands. Let's try 17,000 kilometers beyond: Straya! During my studies the past 7 years I have always lived in social shared student houses in both The Netherlands and the US (did a part of my degree in the US). I really like the social thing about living together: hanging around, have some beers, nonsense talking, sharing your irritations of that day with dinner, etc. Hence, I would prefer to live in a social vibrant shared house. I am entering Australia on a working holiday visa, however my goal is to stay here for a couple years and find a sponsorship for an engineering job. Although I know everyone is describing themselves with the same keywords I am still gonna do it ;). I am easy going, I feel myself most comfortable in social surroundings, I have a work to live mentality and I have a lot of diverse interests. About my interests: I am a football addict, the round ball version to be clear. Furthermore, I like music. I play saxophone myself and I often go to music festivals. Hooroo!
I'm 25 and working a lot, so im rarely around but when I am I enjoy a chit chat and a glass of wine. I practice yoga, like watching environmental and food documentaries, and getting out and exploring. I'm going to be in Melbourne for a while so I hope to find somewhere where I can call home!
I've just moved over to Melbourne for one/two years after an amazing year in New Zealand. I'm very chilled and sociable to live with. I will be working full time Monday to Friday and I plan on adventuring & socialising at the weekend. I would be happiest in a social house, the more people the better, where people are respectful of other's sleep during the week. My weekends and free time will consist of trips away, gigs, trying out new hobbies and meeting new people.
I'm a teacher moving from Brisbane and have some part-time work lined up while I seek something full-time and permanent. I'm an organised, tidy, quiet and dependable individual - I'm not going to be making a mess of the place! I love to cook so I can provide some decent meals if you enjoy sharing those kinds of duties. My other interests include music (I play guitar) and magic (as in magic tricks), so I'd get along well with creative types. Generally I'm flexible when it comes to socialising - I'd be happy with either quiet or more socialising types, but do generally appreciate a quieter, relaxed environment at home. I'm a liberal type, open to live with people of all backgrounds and orientations. Looking to stay at least 3 months, potentially longer term if we all get along well!
We are very friendly and always up for a nice chat. We easy to live with ,as We always clean after ourself. As well We prefer cooking our own food so always we'll share some. Good vibes and personal space are very important for us, we enjoy a few beers but we not huge party people! We are fans of rock climbing, tennis and reading books . We love to travel and meet new people. :)
Hey Wveryone 28 year old Brit Just accepted a Full time role in the CBD. My work is high pressured therefore I love to relax and unwind. I am a big gym, beach and sport person. I look forward to hearing from you Cheers Luke
Hiya! I'm a 28 year old female with a well trained and very friendly 5yo cat, Dr. Watson. I'm moving to Melbourne from Sydney to take up uni and will work part or full time as necessary. (Previously a qualified veterinary nurse- have worked the past 4 years in insurance- escalations/disputes/assessing claims). I've just returned from backpacking around Europe and am hoping to move to Melbourne in March. I keep a clean house and I'm quite respectful of noise. I do like to drink and 'party' at times however this is rarely at home. If you are the kind to have people over regularly that is perfectly fine by me! (On a 'worknight' I'd appreciate some hush by 10.30 though) I'm hoping to have someone to hang out with, but also will respect your privacy (as I hope you will mine). I have a passion for music, animals, food (I'm vegan but not a wanker- you can eat meat!), philosophy, nature and travel.
Hi, I'm a 26year old professional, I work full time. Looking for a place around the St Kilda area. I'm very friendly, clean, tidy. Would love to be a part of a relaxed happy home. I'd love to have roommates I could enjoy a glass of wine and chat with on occasion, but equally mindful of the need for alone time. Danielle
Sian and I are a cute laid back couple. We like to keep to ourselves just as much as we like to go out and about. We currently live in a little beach unit by ourselves in Brisbane, but I've been offered a better job in Melbourne so unfortunately we are going to leave the beach life behind. Most work days we just come home, cook dinner, watch a TV series and sleep. Sian is into pole fitness and I'm into motorbikes. When we get spare time we like to take the bike out for adventures/camping/etc. Ideally I need a secure location to keep my motorbike at night (it doesn't require much room). We are hoping to find a comfortable place with a small number of occupants. We are looking for a nice sized room, we would prefer not to be crammed in like sardines as there will be the 2 of us in 1 room and we would both like to set up a small desk. Hopefully we can find some nice flatmates soon so that we can move down to Melbourne shortly after we get home from overseas in March. Thanks for reading
