Hey all! I'm currently studying a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry)/Diploma in Languages (French) at the University of Melbourne. I'm generally a super motivated person and I love to keep busy, but believe that at the end of a long day the best thing to do is cook dinner with a glass of wine in hand (no really, I love to cook!). I can be a little social, but also appreciate my own time to myself. I think that it's really important to keep shared spaces and common areas clean and tidy. I also have a hard time tolerating smokers. Ideally, I'd like a roommate who I can get along with nicely and relate to. Someone studying or working as a young professional would be brilliant. If you like to get to know more about me, let's go for a drink!
Dutch guy, 25, working holiday maker looking to stay for a while in Melbourne and find a nice room and job in hospitality or office. About me - in the last 6 months I've quit my job in the Netherlands, booked a one way ticket to Melbourne, worked about 2 months in dairy farming, went on a 2 month roadtrip through Tasmania and walked the Overland track. I'm easy going, open minded, like yoga, (vegetarian/vegan) cooking, calisthenics and having fun. As a roommate I'm neat, you can join me for dinner and would be great to have a drink together every now and then.
I am a medical doctor, currently doing a Ph.D. research, I am a very easy going person, clean and respectful of others privacy, I will be most of the time studying. Otherwise, during my free time, I enjoy watching movies, playing board games and exploring the city.
Hi, My name is Sophie, I am a 28 year old French architect . About me, I'm a nature lover. I like hiking, skiing, climbing, running, but also cooking! My friends say that I am very sociable. I studied architecture in France before taking the opportunity to do an exchange program in Montreal (Canada). It was here that I discovered my desire to travel, experience new cultures, but also my own autonomy and resourcefulness. On graduating I joined a team of architects in Vietnam for 9 months where I was challenged to adapt to South East Asian culture. I have been working as an architect in a small office for 4 years in Switzerland. Now, I have the opportunity to work for 6months for an Architectural firm in Melbourne! My job requires autonomy, method and understanding the needs of my clients. During my sabbatical to Australia I am hoping to enrich my creativity through new experiences and to immerse myself in the local culture. It is also a great opportunity for me to improve my English! I have a working holiday visa and I will stay in Australia until december 2018. I am looking for a flat share with nice people. My roommates (in France, Canada, Vietnam and Switzerland) say that I am easygoing, orderly and open-minded. I will be delight to share with you my passion for French gastronomy, my knowledge in the field of architecture and my passion for life! I am looking forward to hearing back from you. Best wishes, Sophie
About me: I work 9-5ish as a lawyer. I go the gym in my free time. The only cooking I do is meal prep on Sundays. I love brunch, the occasional wine and all the Netflix. I also come with furniture! What I’m looking for: I’m looking for a room with lots of windows and natural light, and a leafy outlook if possible. Built ins are a must, an ensuite and a car spot would be nice to have too! I am NOT interested in student accomodation, home stays or sharing a room.
My name is Cecile, I am new to Melbourne and I am actively looking for a private room. I travelled for over a year so I have lots of saving and money is not a problem! I’ve always payed my rent on time. I am a very clean, tidy and respectful person. I enjoy spending time with my housemates but I also enjoy having my independence. I love exploring the surroundings, go into new adventures and taking photos. I am looking for a place where the rent will not exceed $750 per month, all bills included. I look forward to meeting my new housemates!
I am originally from Ireland but have been living in Melbourne for 2 years and a bit years. I work full time in Sales as a Recruiter so normally work around 50 hours per week Monday - Friday. I love the classics going for brunch, coffee and socialising with friends. Love travelling and getting out and about when I can. I am very social and enjoy meeting new people, going to the gym and the odd glass of wine/beer.
We are a French couple looking for a nice place to live in Melbourne, from May 10th and for at least 1 month. We are both tidy, organized and reliable, and we know how to live in a community. We like discovering new places, meeting new people and excercising.
I'm Beth, 31 year old applying for a full time work and a PhD in Melbourne. I've recently moved back from overseas. I'm an easy going, quiet, clean and respectful towards others. I've lived in many houses in different countries and I find it easy to integrate with others.
I have just recently moved to Melbourne from the UK and I'm currently staying in St. Kilda. My girlfriend will be following me in about one or two months (visa issues)! I will be working full time with my PhD research in an institute in South Yarra. I am a non-smoker, and am in my mid twenties. I am a sociable person who loves coffee, a good beer, and just generally having a good laugh. My girlfriend enjoys similar things to me, relaxing, swimming, having a drink and some fun! She is an engineering graduate and is looking for full time employment/PhD. We are looking for accommodation basically anywhere south of the Yarra. I would be available to move in by the mid-late May but am flexible with this.
Hello! My name is Elena. I work full-time, studying Spanish and CELTA on the side. My husband Geo is currently undertaking his Masters in Criminology at The University of Melbourne.
Q: “What makes you great to live with?” A: We are clean, helpful, self-sufficient and open-minded.. I dunno, that should do to cover the bases. Overall, we are just looking to upgrade our accomodation for the cold winter months, so we can comfortably knuckle down and continue saving for our trip to South America in September. We are currently living out of a campervan - which is great, but also not insulated - so even if someone could offer us a driveway and power outlet, something could be negotiated. Ideally, we would prefer to shack up somewhere within close proximity to the city, just so travelling to work and training isn’t too much of a pain in the ass. That being said, we remain open to ideas, so please shoot!
Lived in a couple of shared houses; I believe I have a really good understanding of what it is to be a respectful roommate. Will occasionally cook up a storm and offer a taste, but will clean up the mess. I enjoy binge watching some Netflix & sharing some wine after work. I can be the person to be good company or keep to myself. I consider myself very Bubbly & Outgoing, I love a dad joke. Wanting to move to Prahan/surrounding areas because I do a lot of dancing at the space and I'll be bartending on chapel, this may mean I'll go out after work but anytime I'll be coming home will be to sleep.
Hi I have just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane for a work. I am looking for a relaxed place not too far from the city or close to a train station. I am a full time working professional but also enjoy weekend adventures, hiking, and like to be social. Looking for somewhere that I can have a mix of my own space but also chats/wine/movie etc. Would prefer own bathroom. I love animals, so the more the merrier!
Hello! I'm Amy, I work full time as a civil engineer and I'm fairly new to Melbourne. I just moved down at the start of the year from Brisbane, but I'm originally from the UK and have also lived in France. I've loved the move down to Melbourne, and although I'm fairly quiet during the week (full time work life), I have been spending my weekends exploring the different parts of Melbourne and checking out the hundreds of brunch spots and bars. I'd love to live in a sociable house where we can share a wine or two over some netflix in the evenings, but I also like my own space and will respect others privacy. I am flexible with the move in date - anytime in the next month is fine! Please get in touch if you have a room for me or would be interested in teaming up!
Hi, I'm Jacky and I work full time as a primary school teacher at Glenroy. I am looking for a home that I would be able to live in long term. Having graduated from Monash University last year and having lived on-campus for the last four years, the experiences of living with a variety of people has made me easygoing and independent as a housemate. I am a huge fan of video games, marvel movies, hiking, corny jokes and brunches. While I will most likely crash in my room after a long tiring day of work, I am always down for bonding opportunities with my housemates and exchanging some amazing banter. (Brownie points if you like Netflix and can become friends with this nerd) On occasion, I will go out for drinks. But I can promise you my nightlife stays outside and I will not bring any party racket home. If I ever have friends over, I will make sure noise levels are kept at a minimum and to ask for permission first. Cleanliness has always been a priority for me and would remain the same in all communal areas. Unfortunately, I do not want to live with smokers. Ideally my new home would: - Include all bills & internet with the rent - Be close to the train station and shops (walking distance preferred) - Have space available for parking, because I have a car (on-street or off-street is fine) If there is anything else you'd like to know about me, feel free to send a message! Always happy to meet for a coffee too! **Please don't contact unless within surrounding suburbs of preferred locations ~ getting too many messages for areas way too far**

I'm 27, chilean, introvert, but not shy woman. I'm a natural resources conservation engineer, moving to Melbourne to study, but I plan to get a job too. I'll study with a scholarship, so paying the rent on time won't be an issue. I like a clean and tidy house, and live in a relax environment. Keep in mind that I'm not a party girl, but I don't mind if you want to throw a party once in a while. I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker person and like to stay active. I also enjoy watching tv shows and movies.
I'm a computer science student at Monash (Clayton), working part-time as a front-end developer in the city. Looking for places around the eastern suburbs - ideally somewhere close to transport.
Hi! Im Estelle, 22 years young of french/Mauritian background but Australian born. I’m currently working a full time 9-5 job in an office in keysborough and looking to move out of home closer to the city as I currently live in Pakenham. I consider myself to be a very social person and like to keep myself busy, whether it’s working, gym, yoga or bike riding. I enjoy going out on the weekends into the city with friends. I also like my down time at home, listening to music (love my music) or watching Netflix and relaxing. I understand everyone likes their personal space; as do I but I also do like to have a chat :) I’m a very clean person, and ensure that I always clean up after myself (and sometimes after others out of habit lol - borderline ocd 😂) I’m hoping to find somewhere close to work so within 15km of Keysborough would be ideal. I do have a partner which may stay with me on the rare occasion. I don’t smoke or have any pets. I’m searching for a room with a ensuit or private bathroom which is really important to me. Feel free to message me if I seem suitable for your house :)
Hi! My name is Hyung. Looking for an accommodation preferably on Sydney rd or within 20 minutes from the CBD, from late June to 20th of November! I am 19, studying Pharmacy at Monash University Parkville. I’m a chill, easy going fella who likes to keep things clean and quite. I am a responsible human being who can clean up after oneself, and I respect other people so it is unlikely that you will get into a fight with me. I will be out 4 days a week and come back in the afternoon, but I do enjoy chatting every now and then. I play baseball and alike every ball player, I'm always up for a bottle of beer(or bottles, either way). In terms of pets, I LOVE CATS, but I also like dogs as well. Please get in touch if you are interested! Cheers
I will be relocating from the states to pursue my master's degree in international development at the University of Melbourne. I plan on working part-time as well, so I'll be pretty busy. I like to keep my belongings and space tidy. During my free time, I like to have fun by working out, going out for drinks, enjoying the outdoors, and/or hitting the beach. I can also be laid back and stay in to watch a good movie or Netflix series... so I'd say I'd be a pretty well-balanced roommate! A sociable roommate would be ideal since I'll be new to the country and will want to make new friends :)
