I am a down to earth, friendly, reliable and clean guy (non-smoker) who has a full-time job in engineering, and enjoys doing various sports and activities at his spare time, crossfit, soccer, cycling. I'm looking for a room (preferably furnished) in St Kilda, South Yarra or surrounding areas.
Greetings! I am a traveling entrepreneur from the U.S. that has been in Latin America for the past seven months while building my online business. I will be arriving to Australia for the first time on October 19th and will be staying in Melbourne for 3-12+ months on a Working Holiday, while I continue building up my business. I love traveling, meeting new people, and learning new languages and cultures. I'm always up for a new adventure, wherever and whatever that may be! I look forward to visiting new places and making some local friends. I'm looking for a flatmate(s) that is focused on their goals, but also know how to have a good time after a long day of work. Someone that respects the space we share and does their part in keeping it clean and presentable, but not the ADHD type where everything has to be absolutely perfect. I'm pretty easy to get along with and enjoy hanging out with my flatmates when possible, but also enjoy my independence. Shoot me a message if you think we'll be a good fit!
Hey! I'm a full-time commerce student at the University of Melbourne, graduating next year. I work part-time to support myself, and my hobbies include cooking, exercise, exploring the outdoors and photography. I love keeping busy and getting out and about! I'm friendly and sociable, love a chat after work/uni and dinner & drinks over the weekend. I do also appreciate time to myself and am very respectful of others' space. As a housemate, I'm trustworthy, reliable, considerate, and very tidy. Finally, I have a 1 y.o. ragdoll cat - she's 100% housetrained & indoors, and she is such a little charmer! :) She has co-existed with a (big) dog in the past with no issues. Reach out if you're interested in catching up and chatting more. Cheers! :)
We are both tidy, considerate and respectful of others. We are working and while we enjoy going out we typically do not stay out too late. Both of us are from Texas, USA and are here on a Working Holiday Visa.
I am very clean and tidy, I love to be social and am always keen to meet new people and hang out. I am working full time as a mechanical engineer during the weeks but love to spend time with other like minded people on the weekends. I am a fan of live music and am always playing a sport and trying to keep fit. I am from Sydney, and don't know much about Melbourne, but am eager to explore everything the city has to offer and to meet new and interesting people.
Hey :) 25 YO; GERMAN; TIDY; FUNNY; EXCHANGE STUDENT; DEAKIN UNIVERSITY My name is Yannik and I am a 25-year-old exchange student at Deakin University. After finishing school in 2011 I moved to Münster in a flatshare with two other people and started to study business. But to be honest I don’t see myself as a typical “finance business suited management person” and maybe this is why a friend I get to know in Sydney asked me, if I would really study business? :D During my Bachelor degree I did a semester abroad in San Diego, USA. I spent most of the time with my four roommates. This time was one of my best in my life and this is why I decided to do another semester abroad later on during my Master studies. After finishing my Bachelor studies I did a gap year, moved to Munich and did an internship at the Walt Disney Company for 6 months. After that I travelled through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia for 3 months. Then I started my Master studies with the major in Marketing in October 2015 that I will continue after this semester abroad in April 2017. Besides I would describe myself as an open-minded person. Traveling really helps to think outside the box! and I think I am an over-average tidy person. I don’t really like chaos. I am really interested in sports in general, but especially in football. I am a fan of Borussia Dortmund, so maybe you have heard about the “Yellow Wall” ;). I also have played football at the football club in my hometown, but I also like playing volleyball, basketball and tennis and I try to go skiing once a year in the Alpes. The last 6 months I did CrossFit. Furthermore I am into tv series and movies (e.g. Breaking Bad, House of Cards, Walking Dead…). I watch a lot of Tv series with my flatmates. Last time we finished GoT the second time ;) I also like having a few beers with friends and mostly we go clubbing once a week. Last but not least I am not someone who locks himself in his room. My room door is always open and I don’t know why but in every flat I have lived in, my room evolved into a second living room :D I want to stay in Melbourne for four months (end of February). I would love to hear from you :) Cheers! Or Prost (German)! Yannik
Hi, I come from France and I work full time in an architecture visualisation studio on Chapel street. I'm very respectful and easy going. I love to go outside discovering Melbourne :)
My partner & I are looking for a place to share with possibly another single person or another couple. We have a beautiful little staffy who is 2 months old & will be 4 months old by the time we are ready to move into a new place. We are both respectful, clean and easy going people. We are currently in a small one bedroom apartment and want to find preferably a house with a backyard or bigger apartment. If you have a dog already that is fine as our puppy loves other dogs and it would be nice for her to have a friend. If you don't have a dog you must LOVE them as she has tonnes of energy and will want to play with you!
Hi, I'm looking to move into a place within St Kilda or somewhere close by with either one or two others to keep the rent down as low as possible. Currently working full-time Mon-Fri and looking at taking on more work over the weekends, so i'll stay relatively busy. Easy going, chilled and don't mind a beer or two when able, I keep my gear tidy but am not an OCD weirdo! Anyway if you want to chat feel free to call anytime. Cheers!
I'm fun and easy going 30 year old, get along with everyone and am good company! This is my second year in Australia on a working holiday visa and I'm planning on staying in Melbourne at least until February. I work a lot and on my free time enjoy outdoors, yoga and sports, quiet movie nights at home as well as the occasional crazy night out.
*looking to 'team up' with at least 2 other girls and get a new place together in mid November :) Hello! Darwin girl originally, I moved to Melbourne in December 2015. I'm looking for roommates who can double as friends as I still don't really know anyone. I work full time during the week and my weekends vary from being a complete hermit to being a wild animal. I'm very outgoing and absolutely love meeting new people. I'm not for the sensitive or the faint hearted so if you don't like to joke around and laugh then we probably wouldn't be suited! Also, you must love dogs! I have a two year old Japanese Spitz named Evie. She is the cutest thing in the world. I want to live somewhere with at least a patch of grass. I'm very over cleaning the balcony! And I'm wanting to move to the south east suburbs close to public transport. Anywho, my current lease runs out at the beginning of December so I'd like to find a place to live in mid November at the latest! :)
Hi I'm Agustin (you can call me Tito) I'm from Chile!! Currently working in a furniture factory full time, and will start another job (part-time) as well. I'm looking for something right away since I have been in a hostel for too long and I have like 6 or 7 months left in this city. I don't mind getting a group and finding a house. I'm very friendly, quite, empathetic when it comes to living with other people, I clean after myself, I'm organized with my things, I like to cook a little bit, watch documentaries, music, stay chillin at home most of the time and occasionally to go out wild to chapel Street/acland street/CBD/whatever... I smoke but I don't mind going outside if it is THAT big of a deal. I respect other people's space but would also enjoy socialising with the people I live with and entertaining my or your friends! :)
Hi all! My name is Aaron and I'm currently looking for a place preferably bayside or on the fringe of the CBD. I've been in Melbourne all of my life and could not see myself living anywhere else in the world. I work full time in bank valuations and am studying concurrently. I'm easy to talk to, like to keep tidy, am fairly active and will use any excuse to get out and about but at the same time, I do relish the opportunity to kick my feet up and read or listen to music.
Accountant - Clean, responsible and reliable Snowboarder/Traveller - Extremely social and easy going, love chilling at home with friends or getting a drink after work Outdoorsy - Always looking for my next thrill
My name is Ben, I'm 22 years old and I have a working holiday visa in Australia, basing myself in Melbourne. I just graduated from university in Canada and I'm taking some time off school, what better place to do it then on the other side of the world, right? I'm real easy going, love to have fun, meet people, go out, travel and explore, and I'm just looking for some cool people to live with while I stay and work a bit in Melbourne. I'm also a musician, so anyone looking for a jam or just to be creative with, I'm your guy.
Hi potential flatmates! I'm thomas, 31 years old. I left my beloved France last year where I lived seven years in Paris. I'm looking for some friendly flatmates willing to share more than just the rent and bills. I would wish in st kilda or closed suburbs. I would say that I am respectful, reliable and open-minded. I'm too old anymore to make party everytime, but sometimes I forget it! I'm quite tidy for a bloke... not based on my mum but according to female friends and that is worth, right?! :-) I'm working as a Consultant because I like to be paid telling to people what they have to do and...hum...no I shouldn't say that here, forget it -_- What else, I am really into soccer, enjoy nice strolls listenning some electronic music and I need to be near to the sea even if I swim like a stone :-/ Conclusion, I am just modestly a bargain! ahah
I'll be beginning my Masters of Clinical Audiology at the University of Melbourne in 2017, I'll still be working part-time, and am a 2nd dan black belt who teaches and trains in taekwondo. I am looking for a place preferably closer to the city and uni and for new housemates (1 or 2 max) who either want to hunt for a place with me or have found somewhere already and need an extra housemate. I don't have any pets, but I love them so I'm cool with yours. I'm very house proud but am by no means a homebody and when I'm not at work, uni or catching up with friends, I can usually be found out in my kayak, on my bike, at the dojang or going for a run which you would always be welcome to join me at but I won't force you too! When I'm at home, I'm quite neat (and I hope for my housemates to be the same), I'm a good cook, and do enjoy getting to share a meal with others. I love a good chat, intelligent or silly, and a household full of laughter. I believe home should be a positive and happy place and not a place where everyone goes and hides in their room at the end of the day without talking. I do however believe everyone needs their own quiet time and I am respectful of that but I will always put a good book down to chat and be social instead. :) I'm more experienced living with guys however your gender, sexual orientation, race, favourite colour, football team or star sign all hold no bearing on your suitability as a housemate to me. The only thing I ask is that you have a positive attitude and are the type of person who is easy to get along with and inclusive of others regardless of their differences. I have most things needed for a household inc. everything needed for a kitchen, a comfy couch, washing machine, coffee machine, large flat-screen telly, linen, towels, an iron etc. I don't need to bring everything with me (some of it is currently in storage already) however I definitely do not want a bedroom that is already furnished as it would not feel like home to me without my own. I am not picky when it comes to finding a place (ok, shower curtains creep me out!) however, I do have a car and a kayak so a place that has secure parking and somewhere safe to keep my bike is essential. I am also avoiding apartments that do not have built in laundry facilities and require the use of a communal/ coin laundry if it can be helped. Before contacting me please make sure your listing has the following requirements: Off-street parking, unfurnished private room, non-couples, no more than 2 additional housemates. Thank you.
Hey guys, I've been in Melbourne for a couple weeks enjoying myself but now looking to get a place, get a job, but most importantly be doing it with great people! I'd say most important thing is that I'm not an a-hole. I'm respectful of others space and belongings, I need things clean (esp. kitchens and bathrooms) so I won't shy away from wearing bright yellow marigolds (rubber gloves your mum used to clean the house with)! I love the outdoors, exploring the city, longboarding and FOOD. Keen for kitchen-collaborations and communal meals. Looking to become an English teacher so for any international housemates I'm happy to help with your language skills! Also just wanted to add I'm very accepting and open-minded. I'll never discriminate based on race/religion/sex/species/everything else. One Love! P.s. Live with Mike
Hi! I'm Kat! a 23 year old business professional who works in the music industry and occasionally as a nanny. I'm originally from Scotland here studying in Melbourne for the next two years. I work part/full time during the week depending on shifts as I work two jobs, my main job is in an office Mon-Fri and I work in a bar evenings and some weekends. Pretty chilled during the week like a good Netflix sesh, enjoy keeping active and heading to the gym after work most days. With being Scottish like a drink at the weekend when not working :) I'm a tidy person and don't smoke, but don't mind if others do. Looking for a private room in a share house in the CBD, Carlton, Fitzroy, St Kilda or South Yarra sort of areas Looking for somewhere to stay from 2 months to a year :)
Alexane is from Geneva, Switzerland and Jason is from Québec, Canada. We both speak french and english fluently. Our passions include Design, Art, Travel, Nature and Sports. After a year wokring in London, we decided to try out Melbourne.
Hey, so It’s pretty hard to get to know someone from an ad, so if the below sounds slightly like you, we should arrange a catch up. About me: • Late 20s professional working in a 8:30-to-5:30 job in the CBD • Prefer people that have their own thing going on but wouldn’t mind to socialise every now and then • Keen to hit up bars Friday to Sunday night and other activities every now and then • Hence my healthy eating and five nights a week gymming is offset quite nicely • Respect other people’s privacy and will keep the IKEA chandelier steady on work nights • Clean, but my room is usually as organised as your office is when someone calls out ‘free cake’ • Most people find me funny, entertaining and really social • Into music, creative stuff and a range of other things
Hi! My name is Nolly, I'm 29, I'm a dancer, dance teacher, work in retail. I like to keep myself busy and love fitness and keeping healthy. I am very easy going. I am looking for a house share for 1 or 2 (max) to share with who are like minded, clean, respectful, but like to chill had have a drink or two. I'm just looking for a place to save a few dollars as I would love to travel overseas next year.
Hey! Young professional, very clean/considerate, recently lost about 16kgs so I'm living a healthy lifestyle atm. Passionate about my work, and honestly just looking to live with some great guys/girls. I've been in your shoes, and when you've got a great place it kinda sucks when you accidentally pick a new roommate who just isn't a great fit. I'm very social and I just want to live a fun yet relaxing lifestyle. If you're like-minded, enjoy the odd great night, are curious to say hello - I'm more than happy to meet up, phone, or skype. Jack PS. I'm pretty flexible with a move in date and costs. I've put down "6-months" as a preferred stay length but I could honestly live short or long term.
Hi There, My Name''s Gennady and I'm travelling to Melbourne soon. I'll be there in the first half of November, and right now I'm just really looking for a short term stay in a shared house preferably. If we get along well then of course I can decide to stay with you lovely flatmates long term but I'd rather really look for a place when I'm in the city and can visit potential flatmates myself. Anyway a bit about myself, I'm clean so leaving a ruckus in your house isn't a worry, I get along well with others and will totally be down to share a drink or go exploring the city with you. If you need or don't mind having a short term, potentially long term stay traveller in your house then send me a message and we can chat.
Hello, I'm Kalliope (Poppy for short) I am returning to Melbourne after 5 wonderful months in Europe. I am a Marketing and Communications professional with multiple passions including psychology, writing, reading and travelling. I have a couple of side businesses and I am often really busy with various pursuits. I try to live a balanced and enriched life and whilst I hustle, I really enjoy serious down time at home which I consider one's 'refuge'. So, solitude, privacy and safety are of outmost importance to me. Having said that, the extrovert in me craves social time too, so I am 'all in' when it comes to hanging out and having a laugh if the opportunity arises. I'm articulate, very personable and really enjoy meeting intelligent, kind and compassionate people from all walks of life. Although classy and of great taste (modest as well LOL) enjoying the finer things in life, I'm very down to earth and hate pretentiousness and conceit. I like to be clean and tidy and feel most comfortable when my environment is orderly. I am usually an early riser and not much of a night owl unless it comes with good wine, food and killer company. I hate racism, and despise discrimination of any kind. I really enjoy cooking and sharing food that I have passionately cooked. There's no worse fate than to have to eat alone! I am currently still overseas and looking at returning by late October/mid November 2016. Move in is flexible. Looking at accomodation from 1 to 3 months. Good luck with your search, too! Kalliope.
looking for a place in Elwood/St Kilda, I need to be out of my place by the 19th of October :) I'd prefer to live with guys as I am not high maintenance. Best way to describe me is one of the boys but yet girlyish so I wont hog the bathroom with all my make up or spend forever in there during "peak hour". I'm a social worker that does shift work so I won't always be under your feet! I play netball on the weekend, go to the gym, head to the footy and anything else that pops up. I wouldn't say I'm a home body but I'm past the party animal stage. I'd like to live with clean people who have similar interests/personalities/outlook on life. The kind of people I'd have a meal and drink with but not feel the need to invite them everywhere I go! (Although I'm always one to say the more the merrier!!)

So I am making the move from Adelaide to Melbourne which is exciting! A little bit about myself.. I'm 27 years old. Currently working in food and beverage in Events. I will also be furthering my study towards becoming a professional Make up Artist. Mostly, I am pretty quiet in a home environment, and like to take pride in the house by keeping it clean and tidy. I am considerate of other people and enjoy a laugh and a good Netflix binge. Only after to share a place with 1or 2 people maximum. With a Private room . Potential housemates : -Would be considerate of others, reliable with rent/ bills - Generally tidy and able to clean up after themselves e.g: not a slob. -Able to crack a joke, and be silly occasionally. Hope to hear from you! :)
Considerate, fun, personable, clean. I work full-time for a tech company and travel quite a bit for work. It's pretty hectic, so I like to build a solid routine when I'm home - yoga, sleep, family, gym, social, relax etc. I love my job - but more important is the experience at home. I'm looking for a positive and friendly atmosphere with happy, healthy people who take pride in what they do.
Hi hi! My name's Matt. Myself, my girlfriend, and a friend are moving down to Melbourne at the end of October (well, I'm already here, but they are) with working holiday visas in hand to meet up with my pseudo-Australian best friend of nearly ten years. Would love to join a group of wonderful people in a fun house. We all met as teachers in South Korea and are very open-minded and always ready for adventure (Though, I suppose who doesn't say that?) Anyways, here's a little info about us: Matt: - From outside of Boston - Love video games, exploring the city, sports of all sorts (that is fun to say), staying fit, and going out with friends. Will likely be spending some solid time while there traveling the country. - I haven't had an oven for a year now and I can't wait to bake! My cooking may leave something to be desired but I love making breakfast and dessert. Sam: - Film writer/director with a Masters in script-writing. - Currently directing Seoul Players' production of "Rocky Horror Picture Show" - Much better cook than I. Roxanne/Roxy: - Canadian from Vancouver who loves climbing, exploring, and all that. We are looking for two rooms to rent, one of which would be for myself and Roxy. Let me know if you wanna join up and try and find a house together. Looking forward to it!
I'm a 25yo student looking for a group of people similar age 22-35 who are fun to be around, inspired and challenge each other to better themselves. I'm an active person and value a healthy lifestyle, good quality food and train at the gym most days. I have a relaxed personality, value people with a good sense of humor and don't really watch much TV. Bonus points for a housemate that could double as a gym buddy! I am looking to either start a new share house or join an existing place in need of another housemate. And I love dogs. I have previously lived in share-houses and I can cleaning up after myself ect.

Hi there, my name's Lindsay, Im a young (31) professional looking to join a house share in St Kilda. I'm from England but have lived in Melbourne for over 5 years and love it here. I work in marketing and keep very 9-5 Monday to Friday hours, but also have a very active social life, so will often be out on weekday evenings and weekends. In saying that, I also appreciate a night chilling in on the sofa with a glass of wine or home cooked dinner. I've been extremely lucky with my previous house shares in Melbourne and I'm great friends with all my old housemates. I've just returned from a few months overseas and am looking for the next place to call home. I'm a relaxed and easy going housemate who likes things to be clean and tidy but is not neurotic about it. I'm ideally looking for a share of 3 or 4 where we all get along but don't rely on each other. I'm happy to live with guys or girls. Nicolas and me are in Melbourne since 1 week to discover the city, to work, to meet people and to have fun ! We love St Kilda and the south of Melbourne. We are both waiters. We really want to find a good flatmate, to enjoy good moments all together.
Positive & relaxed nature, enjoy having a laugh being open & communicating. Enjoy a active life style walking, yoga, beach hot or cold, spending time with friends have a bevie & enjoying life. Like a clean, open space, positive, natural light home space, not a party house & share a home with respectful beings. Ideally bedroom unfurnished. Cheers
Hey! I'm Clare, I work in hospitality full-time at the Meat and WIne Co in Southbank and am looking for a new share house. I have lived in share houses both overseas and in Australia so I have this pretty down pat. Whilst I like to have my own space, there's nothing I love more than living in a home rather than just a 'house'. I am reliable, outgoing, considerate and friendly. Always happy to socialise - home dinners and outings with housemates - but as I said I understand people's space and value their time as well. I come as a package deal with two amazing small pets - very low maintenance and well house trained (a dog and a cat). Both are very friendly and can cure a bad mood in a heartbeat - I haven't yet found anyone that doesn't like them. I am at the end of a sublet and am looking to move onto an existing or new lease with like-minded people.
I'm quiet and tidy, looking for somewhere mostly to wind down after work. I am currently a part time database administrator/ part time receptionist at a B&B. I'm a Canadian on working holiday until early December and I'm looking for somewhere until the end of November. I'm a pretty easy going person, happy to make some new friends or to keep to myself. I enjoy cooking, baking, and chilling out with a glass of wine and Netflix.
Kiwi guy fresh to Melbourne, working near Saint Kilda Full Time. Been flatting in NZ for 10 years, considerate, tidy, enjoy a drink on the weekend and socialising, love to meet new people, love good banter.
I'm an outgoing, friendly swede who loves to work out and do adventurous outdoor activities. You'll probably find me in an outdoor gym or running somewhere in the city, although preferably a run along he beach. I work as a food runner at Spice Temple in Southbank. Of course I know how to keep things tidy and will always help out a roommate in need. I'm a killer cook and would happily share dinner or (even better) a few beers with an awesome roomie.
