I have recently got a new 9-5 job in Saint Kilda and am looking to move to the area with my gorgeous dog, Gus. During the week, I like to have a set routine for work, gym, walking Gus and resting. I love the outdoors and you will often find me away hiking and camping on the weekends. I enjoy eating good food and also love to cook. I like to keep a clean and tidy house and don't particularly like using the heating too much (I run hot!). I am respectful of other people's space and belongings and enjoy a good balance of socialising and keeping to myself.
I am from England on a year travel work visa and want to explore and immerse myself within Australian culture. I love meeting new people, and I would like to find a job within the buzzing city of Melbourne. I am fun and outgoing, but I also know when people prefer their own space and can completely understand and respect that. I always clean up after myself. I enjoy cooking for myself and others. I like music, reading and chilling out.
I work at Crown and will be studying Fashion Design and Merchandising next year in Fitzroy, so looking somewhere close to both work & school around later October - early November 2018 I’m friendly, clean, respectful, non-judgemental and love people. I’ve been living in a sharehouse with 2 other girls (20&21yrs) since February and have become incredibly close with them. I’m reliable with paying my own way & always happy to share chores. Most of my close friends are in their early 20s, so I guess that’s the kind of age group I’d prefer to share with, but obviously happy to get to know anyone :) x In my spare time I’m out clubbing, finding hidden bars, going to art galleries or fashion shows, or at the gym trying to get fit. When I come home I like to relax and am always chatty if others are, otherwise I’m happy doing my own thing Flexible with moving dates, happy to have just one flatmate or several, but not looking for shared rooms
Hi! My name is Ana. I’m originally from Russia, have been living in Melbourne for 2.5 years and staying here permanently. I work full-time as a marketing professional. I’m looking for a nice room, preferably with an own bathroom. Bayside areas would be ideal, although I could consider eastern inner city suburbs (no Northside). I’m super tidy, work heaps and spend lots of hours in a gym. I’d like to find like minded house mates, preferably professionals in late 20s-early 30s. Ideally someone to hang out with sometimes, go to the beach, grab occasIonal drinks etc. Hope to hear from you soon xx P.S. I own a car so will need parking.
My name is Kushan and I’m from Sri Lanka. Been living in Australia for the last 6 years. I currently work in Saint Kilda (alcohol industry), but lives in Cranbourne. Trying to move closer to work. I work almost everyday until 11:30pm so you won’t even know I’m there :) Don’t mind ha gong out with my mates for a drink, but loves my alone time too
I'm Canadian, and I've been living in Melbourne for 4 years. Professionally, I work full time for a software company with a few side projects on the go. Generally I split my time 50/50 working from home and the office - so I won't get in the way of other activities in the house. But that being said, I do need a house that is relatively peaceful. I enjoy a nice dinner party and sharing a bottle of wine. I'm an early morning person and try to be home by early afternoon to relax when the day allows. I like to cook when I have the time (and happy to cook for you too), so a good kitchen would be great. I also do a little travel and some photography in my spare time. Looking for a house/flat share, preferably with only 1 other person, and preferably a working professional. I'm looking for a move date at some point in November but can be flexible. Anything else you would like to know, feel free to ask!
We are Andrew & Celine. Andrew is from Melbourne, working in employee mental and physical health (wellbeing) full time. A lover of travel, all food made with love and coffee geek. Céline is from Berlin, on a Working Holiday Visa. She loves Yoga and spends most of her time out and about + studying for her Yoga Teacher Training. We're both really easy going people, very open-minded and always happy to meet new people.
We are two girls from Lithuania, looking for a place to stay in Melbourne. We came here for our studies. We are planning to stay in the city for a year. We are tidy, clean and very easy going girls, who likes to chill and relax at home, sometimes with a glass of wine or a pint of beer :)
We are a professional Chilean couple, studying and working in Melbourne. We love to practice outdoor sports and cook together. For us, cleanliness is very important, so we try to keep everything neat and tidy. We are very easy going, and we like to share a beer sometimes, but also have our own privacy.
Super relaxed easy going couple who have just moved to Melbourne. Looking for a place we can call home for the summer months and maybe longer. We enjoying going to the gym, walks, Netflix binge series and a beer or 2 on the weekend. Very conscious of personal space, super clean, and just general awesome people.
Looking for a private room and just one female flatmate!! I am from Chile and already been in Australia for almost 4 years now. I've always lived with my best friend but now she is moving with her boyfriend and I want to start my own path and meet new people, and hopefully a new place to call home!! I am very into healthy lifestyle, I'm very active and always out and about. I practice yoga every morning before work (6 am) and I like to go for long walks too. Since last summer I started to do rollerblading! which I want to keep doing because is really fun specially in this season. I am a vegetarian (actually a pescetarian but I didn't know it had a name) but I don't judge meat lover as once I was one myself too ;) I like to socialize a lot on the weekends, we are always out with my friends in day trips, on the beach, doing a BBQ or having a drink at some bar. But I'm also into Netflix nights and just chill some times. I looove movies and series and specially going to the movies!! It's my go-to after work plan usually on Tuesdays, when is cheaper! During the week I'm pretty much going to bed early but happy to share dinner and a glass of wine before that, or watch a movie or a trendy tv show :D As for living I am an architect but right now I work as nanny and I've been doing that for the past 3 years. But now on a side I've started to look for a job in my industry so hopefully I can move fields soon!
I'm a working professional with the worlds cutest and best behaved groodle. He's house trained/completely non shedding/hypoallergenic. I live a fairly regimented life with work, gym, dog walks, etc. I like to go to dog beaches or walks on weekends and enjoy the occasional dinner party or wine and cheese night. I have a very introverted side and sometimes retreat to my own room for quiet time. Other times I'm happy to hang out and socialize so it would be great to have a roommate that understands the balance of both. I love to cook and am happy to share meals if that's of interest. Otherwise, I'll meal prep once a week. I'm originally from Canada and do prefer a shoes off household. There's something about tracking everything from the outside into a home that I can't quite adjust to. Outside of that, I'm respectful of other peoples needs to be requirements.
We're both really chilled out people, always up for a beer and a chat, and we're pretty low-key during the week but like to go out and party on the weekends. We're both clean people but not pedantic about cleanliness, and we've both lived in tonnes of share-houses before and are really looking for someone to live with who can be a friend and say hi every now and then. We both also enjoy the occasional smoke, and we like to have a friend or two over every now and then, but we won't be disrespectful and noisy at night. Basically we're looking for somewhere to make home, not just a house 😊 Our cat, Calix is a 2.5 year old tabby who loves socialising and cuddles, and is an outdoor cat so spends his nights having adventures outside. He's adorable and friendly so if you like animals but don't want to live with one that has an attitude, then that's not an issue!
**PROFILE UPDATE** recently we have decided do adopt a dog from a shelter so our living preferences have changed, because well.... everyone needs a doggy to cuddle, so pet friendly would be amazing. Apart from being very clean and professional, we are both outgoing (Kerry far more than me) love meeting new people and going on random adventures and having a quiet drink. we both met in the UK when i was living there and has decided to make her way to australia for the good life and a little sunshine (i think its because I'm hilarious). Kerry is a qualified A&E children's nurse and loves all living creatures, super bubbly, extremely random at times but will always have a story to tell before she has you wetting your pants. I work full time at St Kilda beach also part time for another company and part time as a student at Latrobe Uni, we both like a quiet drink (sometimes too many tequilas) taking on new adventures and meeting new people. We are very respectful of others, clean and professional so having us as a new addition to the house will always keep things exciting.
Lots of traveling tips and stories to share, cooking workshops to be planned, we are easy to live with, tidy and casual. We are a french couple, in Melbourne for six to nine months to work before traveling. Pauline is a French teacher, Jean mechanical engineer. We like concerts, hang out with people from different nationalities, good meals with good wine 😉 Looking forward to hear from you, cheers!
I'm a 29-year-old Peruvian girl living in Melbourne with a Work & Holiday visa, looking for living new experiences and leaving behind the audit office routine :) I'm an easygoing, clean and quite person. Love to have a drink in the sunshine and listen electronic music.
Hey friends! We're Mila (26, Canada) and George (27, England) and were both approaching the end of our Working Holiday year in Australia. We spent the first 6 months living and working in Melbourne and left to explore the rest of the country, so we're back 'home' for a few weeks after living in Adelaide, Brisbane and Bundaberg to see our favourite places and favourite faces before we head back home! We're a great duo to have around as we're pretty self contained, but we love getting into a good conversation and learning about others. We like to make sure that we're the kind of roommates we ourselves would like to have: clean, respectful and communicative. We'll mostly be spending our time these next few weeks going back to our old jobs and working those few extra shifts (Barista & bike mechanic respectfully), or catching up with old mates. Would appreciate if anyone could put us up for a few weeks and maybe we can share stories & adventures of the sort :) Cheers!
