Hi! I am Stefania (from Italy), and I moved to Melbourne a few weeks back to start my new job. I do visual effects for a company that makes films and TV, and I basically do computer graphics. I am currently staying at a hotel, and would love to find a place by the end of next week. If you feel I could be a good fit or have any question, please contact me . I work from 9 to 6, but if you text me I will get back to you as soon as possible!! Bye,
Hey guys, I'm Jade and I'm looking to rent a room for myself and my 2 friendly kitty's. I'm an apprentice hairdresser and I'm moving from Gippsland to the city for work and need to find a place ASAP. I'm 18 and have lived out of home for 2 years and have shared before, I work full-time and study, I'm very clean, tidy and organised and like to keep to myself but I'm happy to hang out, be friends and even go out for a coffee or a bev sometimes. My max limit for rent is $250 per week and as close to the city as possible is preffered. if you have a room to rent out and I sound like a good fit then please shoot me a message :)
Hey! I'm a 23 yo half-British half-Slovak traveller/ wannabe writer. I'm coming to Melbourne on a WH visa hoping not to end up unemployed or frying chicken wings. I'm looking for a private room in a central neighbourhood (I don't drive so public transport friendly!). I'm easy-going, fun and don't leave the dishes unwashed (if I ever cook). Ideal scenario: to be actual friends with the people I live & host dinner parties every now and then!
Looking to share or team up with another awesome chick. I have my 7 year old son 50/50 of the time. I would have him several nights in the week, some weekends and school holidays. He is like me though- a quiet, considerate, easy going, gentle, social soul. He plays quietly with lego a lot or we are out playing in the park with friends. He gets on well with other kids and adults alike. I have no doubt he will embrace the company. I have just finished my studies and newly qualified as a Naturopath. Relocating back after 10 years in Queensland. Into sustainable, low tox living, yoga and meditation. I love cooking and nurturing through food. I do fun stuff like make my own bone broth, I have, slow cooker and a cold press juicer to share! I'm artistic, caring, thoughtful, social, enthusiastic, easy going. Even though my full on party days are behind me I like a little boogie now and then and still go out to gigs and pubs from time to time. Love a good laugh. Looking forward to sharing a home, potentially sharing cooking and shopping duties but not really fussed. Would love someone I can sit around and have a natter with over a cup of tea. I also have an 11 year old dog (kelpie x lab x ridgeback as per my profile shot) that I would dearly love to have with me. But understand if can't. But she is great, gentle company, a great guard dog and you generally wouldn't even notice she was there.
Hi, Im Zozo and 28 years young, and work within retail and sales. When I'm off work I enjoy going out for dinner and drinks, and I also enjoy quiet nights watching my tv series. I try to spend time at the gym, but I prefer the beach and outdoor activities. I used to live in Windsor and now I'm looking for a furnished (preferred) room in the south areas, close to chapel and the beach. I want to rent for at least 2 months and move in asap. I enjoy my home when it's safe, clean and tidy. It's important to respect the house and each other. I'm very social but i also enjoy my privacy. I would love to come and have a look at your room if it's within the areas I'm looking for. Hope to hear from you! /zozo
Tidy and chilled 37yr young 6'7" Electrician from London UK who cycles everywhere and needs some chilled flatmates to co habit with in a furnished place when I get back from NZ and not working in Maribynong, so will need somewhere from 14th Feb until may 2nd, 2.5 months. Or will take slightly shorter stays if offered also.
I want to team up on new lease OR rent a room! Creatively driven 25-year-old looking for a room for rent with some other incredible people/person in Melbourne’s surrounding suburbs or inner east of St Kilda area. A move in date is quite flexible and so is his long term of stay. Adventurous and well-travelled man passionate about photography, arts and the body. Enjoys being social and sharing experiences through stories, music, environments and food. A neat individual who values and respects living with people and creatures of all types and sizes although those with more creative traits would be a bonus. Try him out in Spanish to see how much he speaks and can learn. Call me Af. If you are interested in anything further, I suggest you send a message soon!
Me and my friend Brandon, aged 19 and 20, from Manchester, are currently travelling around Australia and are looking for accomodation. We are both adventurous and enjoy having a good laugh.
Full time working professional looking for a new place to call home. Would love to move into a place that is a sociable sharehouse. Have lived in numerous sharehouses and am very clean, courteous and always on time with rent/bills etc. In my spare time I love hitting the gym, going to the beach, anything outdoors, being sociable, meeting new people etc.
Hi there, Pierre. 31yo, working full time (60hours+) I've started my own business in renewable energy since I'm in Melbourne. Looking for a quite spacious room to live in. Don't mind how many people live in the flat/house, as long as people respect privacy and are respectful. I like to think that I'm easy going, I enjoy going out but I settle for quiet ones as well, watching movies and order food is a way to describe my Sundays. I like football (you guys call it soccer) all kind of sports really, and traveling as well. Originally from France, I lived 4 years in Perth before moving to Melbs in July :)
I am moving to Melbourne for the first time. I will be a student at The University of Melbourne completing a second degree. I will also be working part-time (with over night shifts) and regularly out in the evenings for fitness classes. I also have several travel plans throughout the coming year. So all in all, I keep busy. I am a friendly and happy person up for a chat. Although when I get busy and am studying I get pretty focused and a lot more quiet. I have a passion for travelling and meeting new people. This is what i have spent the last year doing! Now I'm looking for a house with a good atmosphere to start the next 3 years of my life in Melbourne. I have lived in several share houses. Everyone has different opinions, routines and quirks which is fine by me. As long as the house is clean, not a party house and has respect then I'm happy! I'm willing to share chores based on a schedule or just pitch in. My interests: - Music: I love music and hearing new things. I grew up in a musical house. I play guitar and piano (dont worry i have headphones so I dont disturb others!) - Scuba Diving: I love diving and will often be off for a day of diving! You are always welcome to join for a drive, a swim or to join me if you are also interested in diving! - Movies/TV shows: I like sci-fi, fantasy, arts, comedy, murder mystery, super hero, documentaries, thriller and historical shows. - Cooking: if any housemates would like to share food, recipes and good times in the kitchen I'd welcome it! I am not a vegetarian, vegan .etc but am fine with anyone who is. - Travel: I have 2 planned trips this year with more to come. I've just finished a year of travel and am itching to go again! Always happy to hear of your adventures and share tips! - Sports/fitness: Aerial acrobatics, yoga, swimming, gym, dance, - Reading: You will often find me curled up with a book somewhere. Usually in my room though, as I like the quiet. So thats a little about me. If you think I might find a place in your home do let me know. I'm on the hunt and cant wait to get settled in!
Hey! I've just moved to Melbourne from Brisbane and I'm staying in Carlton temporarily. I'm looking for a place around St Kilda, South Yarra, Windsor or Prahran. Currently I study applied finance while also working in retail. I'm always up for a chat and easy to get along with, very clean and considerate. I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and enjoy music, reading and the arts. I'm quite flexible with length of stay atm, from 2 - 6 months.
Hello world, I’m looking for a new home! I'd like to find a place for 6 months, but hopefully more! I currently work full time so have a steady income. At the moment I’m in a very loud share house and it is not working out, so I’m looking for something definitely more chilled and not party 24/7! I like to chat and get to know my housemates, but do enjoy my own space. I like to cook when I can but usually eat dinner at work. I’m quiet, friendly and respectful, I don't smoke, I rarely go out for big nights and if I do I’m a bit of a Mum as I’m not a big drinker. I’m not looking to share a room, I'd like to have a private room with my own space. I’m looking to find a place as soon as possible!! Help a sister out :) I’m looking for low rent, highest I’ll go is 240 inclusive a week due to wages I am on. Please contact me with any questions or more information as this is just a little brief.
Hi I am Annika, I am 24 years old and relatively new to Melbourne. I work full time in the CBD as a structural engineer. I am very easy-going and neat and most weekends you will find me searching for a yet undiscovered brunch venue. I am looking to find a house that feels like a home, with housemates that are open to the occasional family dinner/trivia night or a glass of wine after a long day. That being said I still understand the need to respect everyone's space and property. I look forward to hearing from you!
Fun, Happy and easygoing South African looking for a private room in shared accommodation - looking for something modest and neat. I am a young working professional with a stable permanent office job in the Civil Consulting Engineering field. Moved to Melbourne half a year ago after accepting an intra-company transfer from Durban South Africa to work on some major VicRoads and PTV projects. My specialist short stay Visa has now been converted to a four year 457 Visa with Permanent Residency thereafter, so I can now commit to more permanent accommodation, sign a lease, buy some furniture etc. I am fluent in English, a Non-smoker with sober habits who has got their sh#t together in life and doesn't sweat the small stuff. Looking to live with people who feel the same. Focussed and hard working during the week, although I do love socialising and going out, and I'm always out exploring and enjoying everything this great city has to offer - definitely not a couch potato or the awkward silent tipe. Interests include longboarding, snowboarding, mountainbiking and cycling, surfski paddling, hiking and any kind of adventure in general. Oh and, I'm South African - which means amazing braai skills :) (Braai = Barbeque)
I’m a Swedish girl living in Melbourne on a working holiday visa, I’ve been here for 6 weeks and work in a cafe in Prahran. I’m a sociable person who loves meeting new people and would love to share a drink and have nice chats with my housemates, but totally understand if you wanna do your own thing. When I’m not working I enjoy beach days, a good workout, exploring and as much a night out as a night in. I keep clean, enjoy cooking and gladly for other people!
Easy going easy to get along with. Originally from Sweden but liking the Australian vibes so I'm here to stay. Just graduated from Griffith and looking for full-time work in Melbourne.
