Well as i'm sure it states somewhere, My name is Sam. I've spent my whole life in Auckland and have decided to make a big move to Melbourne! I'm pretty unsure about where I want to live but I'm excited about it all. I'm a very good cleaner - especially dishes - and consider myself a pretty responsible and considerate person. I know literally no one in Melbourne (exciting) and look forward to making a fresh start. I am an actor, so my working arrangements will be based around whatever fits in with acting classes and auditioning. Thanks for your time :)
Hi, Im 27 years old, persian/swede. Working within retail and hospitality. For the moment I live in a shared house in Windsor, but the lease is ending and I need to find a new place. I'm a person who likes my home tidy and clean. I don't spend much time at home but when I do I like it pretty quiet, and its important to respect each others privacy. When I don't work I enjoy quiet evenings with tv-series, as well as going out for dinner and drinks. Let me know If I can come by and check out the room. (I prefer furnished) Cheers! /zozo
Helllllo, legends. My name is Nikki, a 23 year old from the burbs of Chicago. I plan on moving to Melbourne on August 24th. I'm pretty chilled and laid back. I love music, sports, movies, banter, staying active, grabbing a drink. I am respectful and responsible. Pretty tidy(ish)- I promise to keep common areas clean and keep the mess to my room. I like to think I get on with just about anyone! Love to be social, yet have no problem at all keeping to myself. Currently working as a therapy technician at a physical therapy clinic, but planning to work as a server while in aus. Let me know if you think we'd get on!
Hi everyone! My name is Christian, I'm a 21 year old Canadian exchange student, just finished up my semester abroad at Monash. Couldn't say goodbye to Australia just yet so I'm staying to work (where is still tbd, but likely an office job in the CBD) until September 1. I live in a shared house back in Canada, so flatmates is something I'm very familiar with. I'm very clean and courteous with common spaces. I usually keep my door open, always up for a chat or a pint. Hope to speak with you sometime soon. Cheers!
Hey guys, Looking for a place for me and my fat, cuddly cat called Trips. I'll be moving to Melbourne from Brisbane around mid-July to start my Masters of International Sustainable Tourism Management at Monash (Caulfield campus) so move-in date would be anytime between 10th and 20th of July. I'm super laid back and sociable, but can also really enjoy my personal time. I'm an Indonesian-Australian who grew up in France/Switzerland and love meeting people from all over. Looking for housemates that enjoy sharing a meal, a beer or a glass of wine (or three) from time to time and who can spark up interesting conversation! I'll be new to the area, so would definitely appreciate someone willing to explore Melbourne a bit with me. Bonus points if you're a fan of furry creatures and would be happy to give Trips a cuddle/feed if I'm home late from work or uni. Not overly stressed about cleaning, but do enjoy to see and keep common areas tidy and cosy! Also looking for a room that's furnished with a bed and a wardrobe as I'll just be coming with a couple of suitcases. Send me a message if you think we'd get along! X
Hi My names Stephanie, I have had lots of experience living in share houses in London for the past two years I have just returned and am a full time graphic designer, very social and outgoing. I would love to live with people who are also social but also enjoy downtime. I am clean and responsible.
Hey I'm Cris, I'm 22 and currently studying at Marketing, I'm part time 30 hours a week at a big retail company in the city. For hobbies I'm big on sport and running, I also DJ at various big clubs in the city, which is my extra cash in hand source of income. Looking for fun friendly housemates as well as a house to share!
We are a couple from the UK who love a night in, new to Australia and would love a cosy place. Windows in room, and a bathroom. Unfortunately we can't live with Cats or most dog breeds as allergic. However if anyone has a West Highland Terrier message me instantly! I miss my doggie :( we will both be working full time. We both like to keep fit, cook and clean. We are tidy. Looking to stay 1 to 2 months
Hey I'm Sally, I'm 20 years old (21 in June so I might age while this add is up haha) and I'm a very outgoing and chilled out housemate. I'm very clean, always willing to share any household jobs, and generally pretty easy to live with. I'm always keen to hang out or have a chat with my housemates, but also happy to respect privacy if you're wanting some alone time. I have two little pups, a cream coloured male chihuahua and a black female toy poodle (the female has been desexed so no risk of babies!). My dogs are both less than a year old, house trained, and primarily sleep outside in a kennel. They're both well behaved and surprisingly don't seem to yap a lot as their breeds might suggest, they only need a small yard to keep them happy as I take them for plenty of regular walks and spoil them with lots of toys to keep them entertained. In the house that I am living in now I take full care and responsibility for them both and always clean up after any unexpected incidents, and I will continue to do so in my new home. Now that I've covered my main stress of having pets, let me tell you a bit about myself! I'm currently living in Adelaide but looking to move over to Melbourne when my rental lease ends in September. I already have employment locked in for when I move, I will be working night shifts as a dancer at Spearmint Rhino. Also looking into checking out The Men's Gallery and Centrefold Lounge once I've moved. Obviously being okay with my line of work is a must for any potential future housemates. I will generally be working 3-4 nights per week. I am very quiet when I come home and usually sleep until 2pm the next day, but I don't expect you to have to be quiet for me because I am able to sleep through basically anything! I am looking at commencing study once I've moved to Melbourne, most likely a course in makeup/beauty therapy. I've actually written a lot more than I thought I would so if you've made it this far then congrats you are probably capable of putting up with my bullshit! Sling me a message if you're keen to test out being roomies.
I've been living in sharehouse ever since I moved to Australia in 2013, usually stay with same housemates for at least a year or more. I like to live with people that like playing sports, traveling, going to music festivals, having board games night at home with some drinks and good music etc etc.
25 y/o Irish girl on working holiday visa, looking for somewhere modern and clean with parking. Working full time mon-fri and would like housemates that are interested in going out for food and drinks at the weekend, or doing a weekend away hiking/water sports/ exploring Melbourne. Will be in Melbourne until Feb 2018. Non smoker, prefer other non smokers but do not mind if other housemates smoke on a balcony. English speaking housemates essential.
Freelance cinematographer. I make pretty pictures, ride a motorbike and a mountain bike about a lot, and am generally pretty quiet about the house as I'm usually either making a film or watching one. I have headphones :) Garage space required for bikes and camera junk. Larger room preferred as I occasionally have clients over for film edit sessions.
I am a 68 yr old male seeking a place of stay (room in house, share/house etc) in Melbourne for at least two months initially with the possibility of a permanent arrangement if suited. I am based in NZ but I regularly travel to Melbourne, hence the need of a place I can call my 'Melbourne home' and a place to touch down when I am there. I am tidy, reliable, good help around the house, have a sense of humor, and very easy to get along with. I can supply excellent references. I don't snore, fall out of bed, or make strange noises in the middle of the night (or at least I don't think I do). I would prefer a quieter place occupied by only one or two working person/s preferably straight, and a place handy to public transport into the CBD - say a maximum of 30 minutes by public transport. I mostly do my own thing with meals but also don't mind a get-together meal. I make woodworking projects (not at the property) and write about them for my website. That is my fun job and my hobby. Rent is negotiable, however it would be nice if the rent could reflect the fact that I will be away for most of the time after the initial two month. Say up to $160 per week. It would be a place I could call home while I am in Melbourne and would be my Melbourne address.
Hi there, I work on a full time permanent contract for a high end Italian luxury fashion boutique 9-am-7pm in the CBD, at the same time I'm finalising a Bachelors of Business & Advertising at Swinburne part time. I'm looking to team up with a like-minded & professional young lady from any industry at 23+ years old to find a lovely, clean and new-ish 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment around the metropolitan inner city suburbs surrounding Melbourne. If this sounds like you, don't be shy please send a message. At the moment I'm living quite close to the CBD and looking to relocate within reasonable proximity to the CBD. I've had experience living with other housemates, they would describe me as friendly, respectful, tidy, organised, out going, busy and cultured. For fun I go to the gym, catch ups over coffee/dinner/wine, movies or relax and wind down to just go somewhere and do nothing (because I'm always doing something).
Hello! My name is Monica! Im a full time chef working in southbank and currently still living at home in desperate need to move somewhere closer to work! Id really love to live somewhere close to chapel street because its so central to everything :) Id like to be able to be friends with who im living with but im looking for no bigger than a three bedroom place. Id also prefer starting a sharehouse rather than going into an existing one unless theres a place i feel id gel in nicely. Now for more about me im very very easygoing and neat (especially in the kitchen) i enjoy a night out like everyone but not every day or every week for that matter. Truthfully im happier being a couch potato over everything however given my work hours i do get home late so if thats something that would effect you its something you'd need to consider. Coffee at unique cafes with good food is what i live for! Looking for girl roommates only! I really hope to hear from you if you think i could be the person you're looking for! :)

Friendly, easy-going and always chilled, working full-time software developer. I love juggling and many other random activities (including developing software, cooking, running, walking around, observing, living, drinking on the rooftops, studying, travelling, listening funk, trip-hop, wave, psytrance, jazz, Balkan, dub.. etc., reading books and much more). Full of ideas, I would like to join my ideas with other's people ideas to form one big idea and build the rocket and fly to the Moon or something. From Poland. Currently on one week notice period out of the flat.
My name is Paige, I am a nineteen year old student, who is looking to move to Melbourne to study full time at JMC Academy.
Hello there Melbourne peeps my name is Lucie. I'm looking for a place to live. I'm a friendly, tidy woman. I'm not a party animal but good for a chat with a glass of red and a cheese platter. I like foreign films, bikeriding and I'm a foodie. I am hoping for work in aged care while I am unemployed at the moment due to recently moving here from Brisbane I am furiously looking for work. I have Centrelink payments coming in and I'm very reliable when it comes to money, any of my former housemates will affirm. I'm looking for a place with at least one woman living there and maximum 3 people including me. Good heating is very important to me, coming from Queensland :) Also a place with wifi and is fully furnished but I do have my own bedroom furniture. Also no offence to anyone but I'd prefer a place where there no smokers or pets. I'm pretty solid really. Looking forward to meeting you cheers Lucie
I`m from Chile and currently looking for a long term house. I spend most of my time between work and classes, but I also enjoy spending time with friends. I´m love a clean space, share with my housemates but I also enjoy my own times. Hope we can meet for a coffee and we can get to know each other better. Cheers! .
I’m looking for a room in a big old house within walking distance to the beach so I can easily walk my two dogs in the mornings. I work from home full time for an IT company and also just graduated as a Naturopath. I work quietly at my desk during the day, often on the phone, in a busy role. If I have my own space you will hardly know I’m there. Work life balance is important to me so outside of work I’m active and often outdoors with the dogs or out with friends. I’m easy going, positive and respectful. My dogs are very well behaved and beautiful natured and I always clean up after them. They are protective of their home and so make good guard dogs for the occupants but also very loving little housemates :) Move date is flexable any time this month.

Hi, I'm George I’m 39 year old. I’m currently employed full-time as a Civil Trainer/Assessor and also doing some part-time study manly for professional development. I consider myself to be an easy/outgoing, social person although due to work demands I tend to do less socializing these days. I respect peoples belongings and their need for privacy and won't "cramp your style" for lack of a better phrase. In saying that I’m not someone that locks himself in a room and never ventures out. I’m not a “slob” I keep myself and surroundings clean and tidy and always willing to do what’s necessary to keep things that way. Don't mind a glass of wine/beer with dinner and don't mind cooking now and then. I keep myself fit and healthy and enjoy watching a film now and then. I hope I’ve covered all necessary details above, if I've missed anything please feel free to ask. Cheers, George
