A little about myself, my name is George I’m 39 year old born and always lived in Melbourne all my life. I’m currently employed full-time as a Civil Trainer/Assessor and also doing some part-time study manly for professional development. I consider myself to be an easy/outgoing, social person although due to work demands I tend to do less socializing these days. I respect peoples belongings and their need for privacy and won't "cramp your style" for lack of a better phrase. In saying that I’m not someone that locks himself in a room and never ventures out. I’m not a “slob” I keep myself and surroundings clean and tidy and always willing to do what’s necessary to keep things that way. Don't mind a glass of wine/beer with dinner and don't mind cooking now and then. I keep myself fit and healthy and enjoy watching a film now and then. I hope I’ve covered all necessary details above, if I've missed anything please feel free to ask. Cheers, George
Canadian here on a working holiday visa, just finished my farm work and am looking to set up in Melbourne for the next year and a half! I enjoy sports and fitness, cooking (i'm no master chef but I have a few dishes I'm proud of), exploring the city whether its for new cafes, restaurants or pubs, the beach, music of all kinds, and a good night out (but not bringing the party back). If you have a place, and don't mind a guy with a funny accent joining you, let me know :) Brendan

I recently made a career change after spending 6 months travelling the world. I used to work as a lawyer and found it boring and now working as a full-time Trainee Manager for a large cleaning & waste recycling company. I love it. Melbourne - Neat, tidy, respectful and sociable. For fun - gym, travel, languages
Important details: Dates - From immediately (or as soon as possible) until the end of May Preferred budget for the two of us (i.e., not per person) - $250/week rent only or $320/week including bills and wifi A little more about us: We are a chilled out, clean, tidy, and respectful Australian-Chilean couple. We're pretty easy going, happy to keep to ourselves and respect your privacy and equally happy to be social and share a meal and/or a drink or two with you. I'm originally from Brisbane and Marcelo is from Santiago, Chile. We have been living and working in Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, and Port Macquarie over the past few years together and this will be our first time living in Melbourne. We both love to travel, rock climb, hike, dance salsa, and relax with good food and a nice wine. We are also interested in languages; I speak some German and am learning Spanish, and Marcelo speaks Spanish and Portuguese fluently. Marcelo is an engineer and will be working full time. He just started a short contract in the St Kilda area on April 19. I have not had a chance to find work in Melbourne yet, but when I am working, I work on public health projects or in the area of health promotion. (We don't know whether Marcelo's contract will be extended beyond May. This and the fact that I don't have work yet are the main reasons why we are looking for such a short lease and also why our budget is a little tight.)
I'm a 29-year-old engineering professional with a passion for fitness and the outdoors. I'm moving to Melbourne for work at the end of May or start of June for 12 months. I'm usually not home much on weekdays, as I work long hours then go to the gym. On weekends I like to relax and socialize, or maybe get out of the city. I prefer a clean modern and simple house. *Must have off street (undercover) parking.*
Hey there! My names Paige, I'm 19 years old and am looking to move to Melbourne this May/June to study film and television. I'm a quite and clean person who loves to read and binge watch all the television. I can most often be found immersed in either a good book or the latest Netflix TV series. For the most part I tend to keep to myself, However I will not turn down the opportunity for a chat, a bit of a laugh or a nice night out. As I will be new to Melbourne I am looking forward to socialising, making new friends and possibly finding someone to live with, who is fun and easy to get along with.
Hey! I am moving to Melbourne in a couple of weeks and need a fresh pad! My new job, in the Marketing Industry, is situated in the center of town so am looking for central accommodation but am very flexible with locality. I am relocating from Wellington, NZ and come from an architectural background. I have a Post-Grad Degree in Interior Architecture and have also been a Freelance Graphic Designer for the past two years. I am really excited for the move over to Melbourne and can't wait to make some new friends. I'm super easy going, love socializing and have been told I will be missed dearly by my current flatmates - if that's any incentive haha. Please don't hesitate to get in contact!
I am a 68 yr old male seeking a place of stay (room in house, share/house etc) in Melbourne for at least two months initially with the possibility of a permanent arrangement if suited. I am based in NZ but I regularly travel to Melbourne, hence the need of a place I can call my 'Melbourne home' and a place to touch down when I am there. I am tidy, reliable, good help around the house, have a sense of humor, and very easy to get along with. I can supply excellent references. I don't snore, fall out of bed, or make strange noises in the middle of the night (or at least I don't think I do). I would prefer a quieter place occupied by only one or two working person/s preferably straight, and a place handy to public transport into the CBD - say a maximum of 30 minutes by public transport. I mostly do my own thing with meals but also don't mind a get-together meal. I make woodworking projects (not at the property) and write about them for my website. That is my fun job and my hobby. Rent is negotiable, however it would be nice if the rent could reflect the fact that I will be away for most of the time after the initial two month. Say maybe between $100 - $160 per week paid by automatic payment. It would be a place I could call home while I am in Melbourne and would be my Melbourne address.
Like my own space but also very friendly and respectful Clean and enjoy a few wines and out for dinner with friends Gym 3 to 4 days a week
Friendly, easy-going and always chilled, working full-time software developer. I love juggling and many other random activities (including developing software, cooking, running, walking around, observing, living, drinking on the rooftops, studying, travelling, listening funk, trip-hop, wave, psytrance, jazz, Balkan, dub.. etc., reading books and much more). Full of ideas, I would like to join my ideas with other's people ideas to form one big idea and build the rocket and fly to the Moon or something. From Poland. Currently on one week notice period out of the flat.
I work in retail in the city and also am in my last year of a musical theatre degree. In my spare time I'm usually at a dance class, playing piano in the uni practice rooms or writing. On weekdays I'm rarely home in daylight hours, but when I am home I love getting to know my housemates. I have rental history, references attesting to my chillness, cleanliness, friendliness and general fabulousness (and obviously my humility); and five years of share house experience.
I work and study full time so fairly busy but still like to make the most of Melbourne. I’m English but have permanent residency in Australia and have been here for 6 years now.
I'm a friendly, fun-loving person and pretty much get along with everyone. I am a tidy person, always clean up after myself and want to live in a clean and tidy house. I'm over the clubbing scene and don't want to live in a house that throws house parties every other weekend. I love to socialise and kick back with a glass of vino and love going out and exploring Melbourne. I'm also a keen traveller and lived in the UK for 9 years.
I am a very happy person, I like to be social and talk but can also be quiet and keep to myself. I can be very busy sometimes it varies on my work and study. I like to keep clean and tidy I don't mind shared responsibilities. Very respectful and Love animals if any.
I'm 24 y/o woman from the Netherlands. I'm a enthusiastic, happy and friendly person. I like a clean house and like to clean(worked several years in housekeeping). Love food, a good glass of wine and watching movies. I'm easy going and like to have a chat but sometimes I like to be on my own. I'm planning on staying in australia forever. I currently work full time in hospitality in st kilda. Would like to find a sponsorship so I can stay longer. Got a bike and that's my travel mate:)
I'm 26 and work in the finance and investment property space. I am looking to start my masters of finance in July so I am looking for a place that is a midway point between my university (Melb Uni) and my work place (St Kilda). Aside from this I work out five times per week, love heading out for a nice meal or the occasional boozy lunch and read a lot. I am currently reading stoic philosophy and the big short if this is any indication of my personality. I am big on personal growth and am really looking for flat mates with similar values that are go getters and looking to smash it out of the park.
Hi I'm Ben 32, work full time locally in south melbourne, also have a dog Buddy hes 8 and very friendly and lazy just loves his walks which I take him out on each day. I am easy going, fun and enjoy and drink when I'm free, I'm a very tidy person and hope I can find someone the same. I have all my own furniture to furnish and entire house ideally i am looking for someone to team up with so we can find a place.
I'm 27, from Ireland, and am starting a new job near St Kilda Junction as an engineer. Easy going and adventurous, I was backpacking solo all around south east Asia before I arrived in Melbourne. When I'm not at work, I'm either playing sport, doing crossfit or socialising with friends. I'm looking for a place to move in on the 14th April. I wish to get a 6 month lease but this is flexible! I'm looking for something where I can socialize with the people that I'm living with, more than a place to only go to sleep and eat. I'm open minded, always up to have a chat, clean and ordered. I've lived in places like Christchurch and Boston in the past. If I sound the kind of person that you'd like to live with please don't hesitate to contact me. Best Colm
